I DO NOT OWN BREAKING BAD OR COBRA KAI. ALL RIGHTS BELONG TO VINCE GILLIGAN, JOSH HEALD, JON HURWITZ, AND HAYDEN SCHLOSSBERG. I HAD STARTED THIS STORY A WHILE AGO, BUT TOOK IT DOWN BECAUSE OF SOME DRAMA WITH ANOTHER AUTHOR. BUT I AM BACK AND I MEAN TO FINISH IT THIS TIME. A BIG SHOUTOUT TO MIMIMARGOT FOR ENCOURAGING ME TO FINISH WHAT I STARTED.

Encino, Los Angeles, California. August 13, 2018.

Jesse Bruce Pinkman stared aimlessly out the window as the van that he and his family occupied drove on the highway while a U-Haul van flanked them from behind. There were quite a few parts of California that were rather similar to New Mexico that he had seen on the way in. However, once the Pinkman family had reached Los Angeles, the similarities came to a screeching halt. There were no palm trees or big ass mansions owned by douchebags who were rich as shit in Albuquerque. Jesse had never seen so many fancy ass houses in his entire life. It made the house that his family had lived in back in the ABQ look like a damn shack.

Jesse looked to the other side at his younger brother who was currently guiding the world's favorite Italian plumber through Yoshi's Kingdom on his Nintendo 3DS. Jake was currently 12 going on 13 and he had already established himself as the favorite child. First the worst, second the best wasn't just a saying in the house of Pinkman; it was a perspective and his parents lived it out every day.

"Wait until you see the house Jake, it's bigger than our old one and…it has a hot tub in the backyard!" Diane Pinkman said with excitement as she looked at her baby in the back seat. She was trying desperately to sell this place to Jake because he had taken the move harder than his brother.

"Sounds cool, mom." Jake said, trying to sound optimistic as he looked at his brother for approval Unlike his parents, Jake still have a shot about how his brother felt. "Isn't it cool, Jesse?"

"Can't get more dope than a backyard hot tub." Jesse replied nonchalantly as Mrs. Pinkman didn't even look at him. As far as she was concerned, the only reason that had moved to Encino was because of Jesse. Therefore, the eldest Pinkman boy's opinion on the move, if he had one, wasn't worth a pinch of shit in his mother's eyes.

"I'm sure that a good change of scenery will be good for all of us Diane, am I right boys?" Adam Pinkman joined in, taking the optimistic route. Jesse and Jake simply nodded to humor their father. Old man Pinkman was doing his best to look at the move with rose colored glasses. It was pure chance that he had gotten a promotion at his job as a public image consultant for Blue Bunny Ice Cream. It helped make the idea of moving easier to swallow for everyone. It wasn't just because of Jesse that the entire family had to leave their home.

Eventually, the Pinkmans arrived in the wealthy neighborhood of Encino and pulled into the drive way of their brand new home. Truth be told, their new house in Encino kicked the ever living shit out of their old house in Albuquerque. It was a 2 story house with dipped in blue and it looked like it should be lived in by a dude who was going places.

"Whoa…this house is cool!" Jake exclaimed in excitement as the entire family got out of the van and admired their new not exactly humble abode.

"Damn…our new house is the bomb, yo!" Jesse exclaimed, feeling truly optimistic about the move for the first time since his parents had decided on it. Not eager to start unpacking bags, Jake quickly grabbed his brother's hand and dragged him around the house and out to the backyard where as promised, a hot tub was present.

"Yeah bitch, hot tub!" Jesse exclaimed with glee as Jake went to check it, only to find out that it was empty. He rolled his eyes and softly kicked the edge of the tub. That should tell you about the quality of his luck more than anything else.

"I'm going to see if mom will star the hot tub now!" Jake declared as he ran off to get Mrs. Pinkman to start the hot tub. Jesse was at least glad that Jake seemed to be excited about the move. It was Jake who'd given up the most: his friends, his beloved middle school band that had won state championships last year.

"She might as well, she advertised it Yo." Jesse nodded as he walked around the backyard. Besides the hot tub, there was a quaint oak tree that was just perfect for a swing. If Jesse could get his hands on a plank of wood or a tire and some rope, Jake would love it. Jesse eventually went back to the car and started helping his brother and his parents begin the task of unloading the van and U-Haul van at the same time. Mr. And Mrs. Pinkman made it very clear that both boys were expected to pitch in. Jesse grabbed a few boxes of clothes while Jake grabbed the Xbox 360 and the Wii; along with the games. As Jesse began moving into his room: a nice space in the basement that he had laid his claim to, he knew that he had caused the move and while adjusting to life in California wasn't going to be easy, he was prepared to go all in. Perhaps, this would be his chance to quit Breaking Bad with drugs and turn his life around like his up tight mother was always encouraging him to do. Jesse felt like anything was possible.
