I DO NOT OWN BREAKING BAD OR COBRA KAI.

Aisha Robinson's House. Encino, California. Later that day.

Jesse got out of Aisha's car and smiled at the fancy looking house in front of him. It looked like it cost a Hell of a lot more than the house his parents had bought.

"Damn Aisha, your house is the bomb!" Jesse exclaimed as Aisha let him in.

"It's pretty nice, with dad being a football star, there isn't a whole lot he can't afford." Aisha said with a shrug as they both walked into a pleasant living room and kitchen.

"So, like, where do you want to do this?" He asked as she grabbed a couple of sodas out of the fridge and tossed him one.

"We could go up to my room, if you want; my parents aren't home?" She suggested nervously as she didn't want to be too forward.

"Right on." Jesse replied nonchalantly as the 2 headed up the stairs to her room. It was a nerd's paradise, but not in a bad way. It was decked out with models of rockets and the human body and other science related shit that Jesse struggled to wrap his head around. But if he was being honest, smart chicks were a turn on for him; as long as they weren't like robots or some shit like that.

"So, you want to start with biology?" Aisha inquired with a smile.

"For sure yo, the teacher was talking about like, cells and shit. I think I got the animal cells down good enough; but then plant cells, they're just weird." Jesse explained as Aisha cracked open the chapter on cells and walked him through the differences and how plant cells made food through photosynthesis.

Surprisingly, Jesse found that science made a lot of sense when Aisha explained it to him. She had a natural gift for teaching shit. Aisha knew how to make science fun and Jesse didn't mind cramming with her. Unbeknownst to him, Aisha was in the beginning stages of a crush. She thought he was cute and as embarrassing as it was, she was digging the whole bad boy that I can save vibe that was radiating off the Pinkman boy.

"For real, you are saving my ass with this shit, Aisha." Jesse said with a smile as a blush appeared on Aisha's tank cheeks.

"I bet you could be better if you actually gave a shit." She teased.

"Guess we'll never know." Jesse remarked as Aisha slowly reached out for his hand.

"Um Jesse, would you maybe wanna..." Aisha started to say before his phone started to ring.

"Oh shit, give me a sec." Jesse said as he grabbed his phone and picked it up. "You got Jesse."

"Hey Jesse, it's Sam." Samantha LaRusso said in a cheerful voice that Jesse found pleasing.

"Yo Sam, how's it going?" He asked.

"I'm good, um, I'm calling because, my dad wants to invite you to dinner tomorrow night." She explained as this caught Jesse off guard.

"Your old man wants me over for dinner, is he still paused out the pool party?" He inquired.

"No, he's cool about that, he just kind of saw us at the barbecue and he thinks there might be more to it then pissing off Kyler." She replied as Jesse wanted to ask if she thought there might be more, but pussied out.

"Yeah...I can do dinner tomorrow, what time we talking?"

"Around 5:30."

"I'll be there, for sure." Jesse promised.

"Great, talk to you later!" Sam chirped happily before hanging up.

"So, what were you saying?" Jesse asked as he put his phone away.

"Just that...you did a good job." Aisha said with a twinge of regret on her face. Jesse noticed it, but didn't want to pry.

LaRusso House. Encino, California. The next evening.

The next evening when Jesse arrived at Sam's house, he was fighting back nerves. His own parents hated his guts, how could he expect Sam's parents to treat him any different? He didn't know what his parents had told the LaRusso's about him and a part of him didn't want to. The only saving Grace was that his parents didn't give him a hard time about skipping out on dinner; in fact, they seemed almost relieved.

Jesse pushed these doubts from his mind as he rang the doorbell. A few moments later, an attractive older woman came to the front door.

"You must be Jesse, I'm Samantha's mother." She said with a kind smile.

"It's nice to meet you, Mrs. LaRusso." Jesse said, trying to be on his best behavior as she stood aside to let him in.

"Sam's finishing up her homework, but she'll be down soon. Daniel's in the kitchen preparing dinner." She said as Jesse took off his shoes, figuring that his socks would leave less dirt.

"Your house is like, bad ass." He remarked, trying to offer a compliment.

"Thank you, I did all the interior decorating myself." Amanda said with a chuckle.

"You got good taste, Mrs. L." Jesse added, earning a shoulder squeeze of appreciation. As they headed into the kitchen, he saw Daniel LaRusso setting the the table with some fancy eating ware.

"Daniel, you remember Jesse Pinkman, from the barbecue." Sam's mom said as her father turned to greet Jesse with a grin.

"It's nice to see you again Jesse. How are your parents liking the hills?" Daniel asked as he shook Jesse's hand.

"Oh, they think it's the bomb, yo. They send their best." Jesse answered as Mrs. LaRusso went to summon her daughter.

"We're glad you could come tonight, Sam told us that you helped her out with that scumbag; whatever his name is." Mr. LaRusso said with a smirk.

"Don't worry about it, that Kyler's a dumbass if he can't see how awesome your daughter is." Jesse insisted, earning points with Daniel.

"I'm glad to hear you say that." He said as Sam and her mom walked into the kitchen.

"Hi Jesse." Sam said with a smile as she squeezed his hand.

"I was just telling your parents what an kick ass house you got." Jesse explained, earning a slight giggle.

"I'm glad it's up to your standards." Sam replied as everyone sat down while Daniel prepared the meal.

"The yanagi, or yanagi ba, depending on the region, is a knife used exclusively for cutting sashimi." Daniel explained as he began to cut up the exotic looking sushi.

"Looks dope, Mr. LaRusso." Jesse said as he eagerly watched.

"I picked up this bad boy on my first trip to Okinawa." Daniel said as he gently poured some soy sauce onto the fish. "Voilá: the famous LaRusso ponzu toro." Amanda clapped as Daniel served up a plate to Jesse who eagerly tried it.

"Oh man...this ponzu toro is the bomb, yo!" Jesse exclaimed as he enjoyed how it melted in his mouth.

"I'm glad that you enjoy it." Daniel said as Amanda passed out plates to the LaRusso women.

"So, you've like, actually been to Japan?" Jesse inquired as he ate the toro.

"Sure have, have you ever been?" Daniel answered and asked in return.

"No man, but I want to, someday. I've always had like, an interest in Japan." Jesse replied as he enjoyed the first family meal he'd had in a long time.
