Glynda and Taiyang arrived at an abandoned steel mill in pursuit of Roman and his gang. They spotted the robbery van parked up ahead outside one of the mills many rusty buildings.

"So that's their hideout. It makes sense they'd use a derelict building as their hideout," Blake commented, eating a tuna sandwich.

"It reminds me of those old tunnels beneath Mountain Glenn Roman operated in," Oobleck reminisced from his mission with Team RWBY.

"Central, this is unit 154," Taiyang said into the radio. "We've located that van by the old mill in sector 3-D. Now where is that backup?"

"Backup is still unavailable," the dispatcher replied. "We estimate ten minutes before units can arrive."

"Oh man," Taiyang grumbled as he threw the radio aside.

Glynda stopped the police cruiser right behind the van.

"Well, you call it," Taiyang said, leaving the choice to Glynda decide.

Glynda flipped down her helmet visor. "Let's do it."

"Okay," Taiyang replied, also flipping his visor.

"I don't think that's a good idea," Ironwood disagreed with a frown. "They should wait for backup."

"By the time they arrive, Roman and his goons might slip away," Pyrrha reasoned with Ironwood.

"She might have lost fellow officers to Roman and is eager to take him down," Port added, knowing the feeling of losing comrades on the battlefield.

"That's understandable. But personally, I wouldn't let my emotions get the better of me so easily," Glynda said, although she still sympathized with her counterpart.

The two officers climbed out of their cruiser, pistols at the ready. They started with the van, but discovered it was unoccupied.

"Go!" Glynda ordered as she and Taiyang moved on.

"Stay in touch," Taiyang said as they split up.

"That's an even worse idea," Ironwood said, shaking his head. "There's at least five thugs in there. Plus, they're in unfamiliar territory."

"Glynda and Taiyang have the element of surprise, though," Oobleck defended Glynda's counterpart.

"Even so, it's a risky move," Winter agreed with Ironwood.

Taiyang ascended a nearby staircase while Glynda climbed up a ladder. Atop the staircase, Taiyang entered the mill through a door. He moved quickly through the factory in search of the gang members.

Meanwhile, Glynda entered the mills second floor. She moved along slowly, then quickly swiveled her gun towards the floor below. It was deserted.

Glynda moved along until she heard someone whistling behind a large pipe unit. She circled around until she spotted Yuma urinating with his back to her.

Glynda aimed her weapon at Yuma. "Freeze."

Yuma slowly turned towards Glynda as she circled around him.

"Okay let's see those hands," Glynda ordered. "Nice and easy."

"Sure," Yuma calmly replied as he raised his hands. "Mind if I zip this up?"

Glynda and Yuma exchanged stares until the latter cast her gaze downwards.

A few audience members snickered that Glynda's counterpart fell for Yuma's trick.

"You fell for that old trick?" Qrow chuckled with a shit-eating grin.

Glynda sputtered. "I would never fall for a ruse like that!" She shouted in outrage.

Yumas distraction had worked. He smacked Glynda's gun out of her hand, then punched her in the face. Glynda tumbled over a railing and fell onto a pile of dirty tarps on the ground floor below. Yuma then zipped up his pants as he looked down on Glynda then pointed with an annoying cackle.

"Now Taiyang is on his own," Velvet said worriedly.

"I have a bad feeling about this," Coco agreed with her partner.

Elsewhere, Taiyang navigated through the mill until he heard a pair of voices.

"We rob banks, but we never get to keep the lien," One voice said.

"We steal money to make money," The other voice replied. "First we steal money to buy coke, then sell to coke to make even more money. Capital investment, man."

"Those scumbags are smarter than most," Qrow begrudgingly admitted.

"With Vales corruption and poor police morale, they have more opportunities to commit crimes and profit off of them," Weiss added.

"Hopefully Robocop will put a stop to it once he comes around," Oobleck said, wondering when the title character would appear.

Taiyang peered around a corner, spotting Junior and Doughy carrying boxes.

"Why bother making it when we can just steal it?" Junior asked.

"No better way to steal than free enterprise," Doughy answered.

"Smoke?" Junior offered a cigarette.

"No. You know those things will kill you," Doughy replied as he removed his jacket.

"Yeah," Junior replied as he lit up a cigarette. "You want to live forever?"

"I certainly don't," Ozpin said under his breath, lamenting his immortality.

Junior turned on a nearby television set and sat on down on a couch. Onscreen, a short, balding and bespectacled man named Bixby was presented a large birthday cake by two scantily clad women.

"Bixby! Happy birthday!" The women sang.

"Wow! What a cake! Oh, boy!" Bixby said excitedly.

"What are they watching?" Neptune asked, sipping a soda.

"It looks like some low-brow comedy show to me," Sun replied, having seen a few himself.

Taiyang edged closer. The thugs didn't notice as they were too focused on their show, laughing hysterically.

"Don't move!" Taiyang shouted.

Both thugs stopped laughing as they saw Taiyang approaching, gun at the ready.

Doughy quickly picked up his shotgun, but Taiyang shot him in the chest. The bullet went through the thug and shattered the tv screen behind him.

"Well that was a stupid move," Nora said with a grin.

"The others must have heard the gunshot, though," Ren said, knowing the rest of Roman's gang would be alerted.

Junior also grabbed his shotgun but Taiyang had his sights on him in a heartbeat.

"Go ahead and do it," Taiyang dared Junior. "Dead or alive, you're coming with me."

Junior paused before tossing his weapon aside. He raised his hands in surrender.

Back to Goodwitch. She groaned as she rolled onto her side in pain. Taiyangs voice emitted from her radio.

"Goodwitch? Goodwitch?!"

There were sighs of relief throughout the theater that Glynda was all right.

"Goodwitch, I've got a situation here, girl!" Taiyang reported as he approached Junior.

"You think dad can handle him on his own?" Ruby asked Yang, getting a bit worried.

"As long as the others don't show up," Yang replied, feeling nervous herself.

"Don't jinx it!" Nora cautioned.

"Okay, tough guy, get up," Taiyang ordered Junior. "Get up!"

Taiyang hauled Junior off the couch and spun him around.

"Turn around and spread your legs!" Taiyang ordered. "That's right!"

Glynda, still aching from her fall, hoisted herself to her feet.

"Goodwitch, where are you? Are you all right?" Taiyang asked on Glynda's radio.

"Put your hands on your head," Taiyang ordered Junior, who complied. "Goodwitch?"

Suddenly, Taiyang heard a gun cock to his right. He spun his head and saw Trifa pointing a shotgun at him from a balcony. He looked to his left and saw Tuskon doing the same.

"Why don't you let us take over from here, Junior?" Tuskon said.

"Oh-no," Ruby whispered and began fidgeting with the ends of her cape.

"Dad," Yang said softly.

Junior spun around and slapped Taiyang's handgun away while Tuskon and Trifa moved in. Junior picked up his shotgun and angrily aimed it under Taiyang's chin.

"Your ass is mine!" Junior snarled.

"No, not yet it ain't," Roman called nearby.

Roman sauntered toward the group from a nearby corridor. He had a shotgun slung over his shoulder.

Roman approached Taiyang. "Well, what have we here?" He asked as he unclipped Taiyang's helmet and placed it on Junior's head.

"This doesn't look good at all," Jaune commented nervously, worried for Ruby and Yang's father.

"Ms. Goodwitch is back on her feet. She'll stop them," Pyrrha said, trying to be optimistic.

Blake was about to refute Pyrrha's claim, but changed her mind for Ruby's sake.

"You a good cop hotshot? Sure you are," Roman patronized as he circled behind Roman. "Why you gotta be some kind of great cop. Come in here all by yourself."

Roman then swung his shotgun into Taiyangs knee, knocking him prone. The other goons chuckled.

"Where's your partner?" Roman demanded.

Taiyang didn't answer as he tried to crawl back to his feet, but Roman clubbed him back down.

Ruby grimaced at the screen while Yang clenched the armrests of her seat.

Qrow growled at the screen with narrowed eyes.

"Where's your partner?!" Roman repeated angrily.

"Well guys," Yuma said as he swaggered into the room. "Other one was upstairs."

"She was sweeet~. Mmm-mmm-mmm. I took her out," Yuma told Roman with a cackle.

Roman kicked Taiyang over into a sitting position and crouched down to him.

"I bet that really pisses you off," Roman said. "You probably don't think I'm a very nice guy, do you?"

"Buddy, I think your slime," Taiyang said flatly with a slight grin.

Everyone nodded in agreement at Taiyangs insult.

Roman's goons cracked up while Roman just smiled and stood up, pinning Taiyangs right arm to the ground with his foot.

"See, I got this problem," Roman said. "Cops don't like me, so I don't like cops."

Roman then aimed his shotgun at Taiyang.

Everyone tensed up at the scene, fearing the worst was about to happen.

"Come on, Glynda," Qrow said nervously through clenched teeth. "You need to hurry."

"Yang, I don't like this," Ruby said in a wavering voice as she gripped her sisters arm.

"It's okay, Ruby. Professor Goodwitch will save him," Yang tried to assure her sister, but in the back of her mind, she knew it wasn't going to end well.

Roman mimicked a targeting system as he waved it around a few times before firing, blowing Taiyang's hand off.

Everyone gasped or recoiled at the screen.

"Dad!" Ruby cried out, now gripping Yang's arm with both hands.

"That son of a bitch!" Yang growled at the screen as as her eyes shifted red with fury and her golden locks glowed.

The gang laughed hysterically as a shocked Taiyang clutched the bloody stump where his hand used to be.

"Well, give the man a hand," Roman joked. "He's all yours."

Nearby, Glynda heard the gunshot and hurried through the factory to find Taiyang.

"Come on, come on," Glynda muttered to her counterpart.

Ozpin silently shook his head. "It's too late..." He mused gravely.

Ironwood sighed, sadly knowing it wouldn't make a difference even if Glynda showed up in time.

Taiyang struggled to his feet while Roman walked over to a corner and sat down on a drum barrel.

"All right," Junior said as he removed the police helmet.

"Turn around, man," Trifa said.

"Hey, pretty boy," Yuma taunted. "Hey, over here."

Taiyang turned around and Junior fired, blowing the cops right arm off at the shoulder. Taiyang then screamed in utter agony as the thugs mercilessly fired a barrage of gunfire into his torso.

"Nooooo!" Ruby screamed as she buried her face into Yang's chest. She couldn't bear to watch.

Yang held Ruby close as she watched in horror as her father was peppered with gunfire. She wanted to look away but felt as if her eyes were glued to the screen.

Weiss and Glynda put their hands over their mouths in shock.

Blake stared wide eyed. Her mouth agape in horror.

Everyone else was horrified or angry at the gruesome scene. Others simply diverted their gazes from the screen.

Glynda heard the sounds. Her eyes widened in terror as she rushed towards the noise. She arrived at a metal grating. Through it, she saw Romans goons laughing and firing their weapons. Luckily, they didn't notice her.

Taiyang collapsed to his knees as the thugs ran dry.

"Shit!" Yuma shouted. "I'm outta ammo."

"Me too," Tuskon said.

Glynda quickly backtracked from the dead end, hoping beyond hope she could still save Taiyang.

Taiyang himself was still clinging to life as he groaned from his gruesome wounds. His thick body armor mitigated the shotgun rounds.

Roman casually lit a cigar as he watched the carnage unfold.

"Hey, Roman. He's still alive," Junior said, almost impressed by Taiyangs resilience.

"Awww, does it hurt? Does it hurt?" Yuma asked mockingly, then laughed uproariously with the other thugs.

Ruby was sobbing by now while Yang's face was so red she could probably spit fire. Tears began to brim in her eyes as well.

Glynda was ready to rip the movie screen apart with her bare hands while Ozpin and Qrow furiously gripped their coffee mug and flask respectively.

"Goddamn degenerates," Ironwood snarled with a bristled face, prompting angry nods from the audience.

Roman calmly walked over to Taiyang, stubbed out his cigar, and drew a handgun.

"Okay, fun's over?" Roman announced as he took aim and shot Taiyang in the head.

Taiyang fell backwards to the ground and didn't move.

"No...no..." Yang whispered, shaking her head as if to deny what she just saw as tears streamed down her face.

Ruby kept her face buried in her sisters chest. But after hearing that final gunshot, she knew what just happened.

Even Glynda began to tear up, feeling her counterpart had failed Taiyang.

Ozpin lowered his head in sorrow as Roman dealt the final blow to Taiyang.

"Okay. Let's get out of here," Roman instructed.

"Good night, sweet prince," Yuma laughed as he blew a kiss to Taiyang's body.

The thugs followed Roman single file down the corridor he came from.

"Hey, wait up," Yuma called as he followed behind.

Glynda finally arrived too late. She spotted Taiyangs mutilated body and approached it slowly. She knelt next to him; eyes wide with shock.

"Xiao Long," She whispered, on the verge of tears.

Xiao Long lay deathly still. His eyes wide and lifeless. Glynda trembled and put her hands to her mouth as she wept softly.

Yang and Ruby wept in each others arms. Weiss and Blake, who both sat next to their respective partners, proceeded to hug them in comfort.

Penny, who was sitting behind Ruby, hugged her first friend from behind as she began to shed a tear herself.

Even Glynda sniffled as she wiped a tear from her eye. The terrible scene pulled her heartstrings as it reminded her of past friends killed by Grimm before her very eyes.

Everyone else was either furious or heartbroken and unashamedly shedding tears. They felt horrible for Ruby and Yang as well.

"Gold-Sith," Ozpin said in a menacingly low tone as he lifted his head, his eyes frigid with anger. "I hope you didn't show us this viewing just to traumatize my students."

"The headmaster is right," Glynda said as she wiped her eyes. "You have some nerve exposing Ms. Rose and Ms. Xiao long to that."

"Please, calm yourselves," Gold-Sith assured. "It'll get better. I promise."

"I hope so, for your sake," Yang choked out between sobs, toying with the idea of leaving the theater with Ruby.

Later that night at Vale general hospital. A hospital staff unloaded Taiyang from a police helicopter on the roof.

"Get him over," A male nurse said as Taiyang was placed on a gurney.

"Ventilate him. Get the mask," another nurse said.

An oxygen mask was placed on Taiyang's mouth as the staff hurriedly wheeled him inside and down a hallway.

"It looks like his body armor helped reduce his injuries," Ironwood pointed out, trying to lighten the mood.

"Then maybe they can resuscitate him," Penny said hopefully. "Can they?"

"I don't know Penny. I don't know," Winter said skeptically, knowing Taiyang's headshot alone made his chances very slim.

The paramedics quickly wheeled Taiyang into the emergency wing.

"Let me get pressure, the doctor requested.

"Got a pressure of 60 pel," a nurse replied.

"We're going to have to intubate this guy," Another nurse added.

An intubation tube was placed into Taiyang's mouth as the doctors struggled to save his life.

"All right, I got it in. Breath sounds?"

"You're in."

"Other side."

"Let's get the mask trousers up."

"Get his clothes off."

"Okay, clothes off. Let's prep him for a central line."

The paramedics removed Taiyang's shirt, exposing his gory, perforated chest.

"This is so uncomfortable to watch," Jaune said, clutching his stomach as he felt queasy.

"You can say that again," Neptune agreed, setting his popcorn aside as he lost his appetite.

Pyrrha and Sun rubbed their respective teammates backs to help ease any nausea.

"Let's get some blood drawn. Type and crossing, six units."

"Pressures dropping."

"Central line's in, getting pressure back. Normal saline."

Taiyang's eyes stared blankly at the hospital staff as he began to have flashbacks.

Ruby and Yang held each others hands for comfort, praying for a miracle in which their father would pull through.

The first showed Ruby and Yang watching TJ Lazer killing a perp then performing a gun twirl on TV.

"Can you do that, dad?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah. Can you spin your gun like TJ?" Yang asked.

Cut to Summer Rose in the Xiao Long households bedroom wearing a pink bathrobe. She quickly approached Taiyang.

"I really have to tell you something?" Summer said urgently.

"Mom," Ruby said wistfully. She still missed her mother dearly.

Yang and Qrow gazed sadly at Summer onscreen. They missed her as much as Ruby did.

Back at the hospital, the hospital staff continued with their best efforts.

"What's the blood pressure?" The doctor asked.

"I've got 40 pel," A nurse replied.

"All right."

"His pressures dropping," Oobleck said grimly. "That's not good."

"Oh no," Velvet said, her ears drooping down.

There was another flashback of Summer, Yang, and Ruby all waving goodbye to Taiyang as he left for work.

"He may never see them again," Weiss whispered, feeling horrible for Taiyangs family onscreen.

"Coarse D-fib. Gotta shock him," The doctor said.

The staff removed the intubation tube and prepared the defibrillator to keep Taiyang's heart going.

"Put the foley in. Let's blow the mask trousers."

"Clear."

Taiyang spasmed from the defibrillator, but then lay still again.

"No pulse."

"Coarse D-fib. Let's shock him again."

"Clear."

Ruby and Yang began to tear up again as the situation became bleaker.

With the next shock, Taiyang saw another flashback of Roman's gang shooting him.

Many audience members felt another surge of anger for Roman and his gang.

"Flat line. Let's go, intracardiac epinephrine," the doctor said as he injected a large syringe into Taiyang's bloodied chest. "All right, it's in."

"No pulse."

"Let's go ahead a shock a flat line and then quit," The doctor ordered.

"Okay, everybody stand clear."

With one last shock, Taiyang's body spasmed but again, it was no good.

There was one last flashback of Roman finishing off Taiyang with a headshot.

Finally, Taiyangs world went to black.

"All right. I think that's all we can do," The doctor said in defeat. "Let's call it. What's the time?"

"6:15."

Ruby and Yang cast their tearful gazes downward in sorrow as Taiyang was pronounced dead. They knew it wasn't their own Taiyang, but it felt so real.

"That does it. Come on, Ruby," Yang declared as she angrily stood up. "We're leaving right now!"

"I implore you, Ms. Xiao Long. Just wait for it," Gold-Sith pleaded. "Watch the rest of the film. I promise. You won't regret it."

Yang leered at the screen for a few long seconds before reluctantly sitting back down.

"If you're lying to me, there's gonna be hell to pay," Yang snarled, wiping her eyes.

The screen stayed dark. Then a few seconds later, it reactivated to an electronic POV, as if viewed through a poor-quality screen. A metal-gridded ceiling and florescent lights were visible.

"Huh?" Jaune said.

"What's this?" Sun said.

"Is it the hospital?" Coco asked.

A female technician stepped into view, reached down, and adjusted the camera, clearing the picture to a higher quality.

"That's sharp. It's starting to roll," Another male technician said as he walked into view.

There was another static cut to a closeup of the male technician adjusting something with a pair of pliers.

"Ah, Shit!" The technician groaned as the feed cut out, darkening the screen again.

"What the hell's going on?" Qrow voiced what everyone else was wondering.

The screen reactivated. A dark skinned businesswoman could be seen with the technicians. She gazed down into the camera.

"Look, it's Ciel," Penny said, smiling at her teammate onscreen.

"So, she works for OCP here," Winter added.

"Bring in the L.E.D," Chief Technician Ciel instructed.

A green light grid appeared, segmenting the screen into tiny cubes.

"Lock it down," Ciel instructed further.

"Oh. I think I understand what's happening," Penny said with another smile.

"What is it, Penny," Ruby asked curiously.

"Keep watching," Penny replied. "You'll see."

The male technician used a drill to make more adjustments. With each drilling, the grid zoomed in until it disappeared.

There was another blackout and cut to a circle of people gazing down at the camera. Among them was Flynt Coal in a business suit.

"He's on," Ciel said.

"He's on? Who is he?" Port asked with an arched brow.

"Wait...is it Taiyang?" Neptune asked, connecting the dots. "Then that would mean..."

"What's the story?" Merlot asked off-screen.

"We were able to save the left arm," Coco replied.

Albert Merlot and Pietro Polendina stepped into view.

Ruby and Yang both gasped in realization, their eyes widening. Other audience members gasped as well. Penny nodded at her correct guess.

"They're turning Taiyang into Robocop?" Qrow said in surprise.

"So that's what Merlot meant by 'volunteer' earlier," Pyrrha deducted.

"What? I thought we agreed on total body prosthesis. Now lose the arm, okay?" Merlot ordered sternly.

"Monty, Merlot," Ciel muttered in disapproval.

Merlot looked down and snapped his fingers at the screen.

"Can he understand what I'm saying?" Merlot asked Flynt Coal.

"It doesn't matter," Flynt replied. "We're going to blank his memory anyway."

Ruby and Yang looked disheartened by that statement

"So... he won't remember anything?" Ruby asked sadly. "Not even his family?"

"Those corporate bastards," Yang growled, her fists clenching.

"That's just wrong," Weiss said angrily, feeling another pang of sympathy for her partner.

Polendina shifted past Merlot to crouch down and get a closer look at whatever it was they were working on.

"Well, I think we should lose the arm," Merlot insisted. "What do you think, Polendina?

"He signed a release form when he joined the force," Polendina replied as he stood up. "And he's legally dead. We can do pretty much what we want with him."

"My father would never condone such a thing," Penny said in disapproval.

"I understand they're trying to reduce crime in Vale, but converting police officers into cyborgs against their will is appalling," Ironwood agreed with Penny, sipping a glass of water.

"It's certainly something the real Merlot would do," Ozpin said, remembering the mad scientists sickening experiments.

"Lose the arm," Merlot repeated as he and Polendina walked away.

"Shut him down and prep for surgery," Ciel instructed her staff.

The screen went dark once more before switching back on. Merlot was looking directly into the camera.

Also onscreen was a vertical list of computer commands for Robocop.

"The entire outer skin will be like this," A technician said as she rolled in a robotic arm on a trolley. "It's titanium, laminated with kevlar."

"Very impressive," Penny complimented with a nod. "He can shrug off quite a bit of firepower with that kind of armor."

"He's certainly more durable than the Atlesian Knights," Winter said, wondering if future models could be outfitted with similar armor.

"Maybe we can learn something from Robocop," Ironwood assumed, eager to see the cyborg in action for any possible implementations to Atlesian robots.

The hand opened wide and extended towards Merlot, as if requesting a handshake.

"Go ahead. Shake his hand," The technician said.

"Come here often? How are you doing?" Merlot asked jokingly as he grabbed the robotic hand.

The hand gripped Merlot's tightly, causing him to wince in pain.

"Ow! Monty!" Merlot exclaimed before the robotic hand released him. "He's got a hell of a grip."

"It's 400 pounds," the technician said as Merlot rubbed his sore hand. "He could crush every bone in your hand."

"Hopefully he'll break Roman's legs," Nora said eagerly.

"I'd prefer if it was his neck instead," Ruby said vengefully with a sharp glare. Everyone was surprised by Ruby's uncharacteristically ruthless statement.

"You said it, sis," Yang agreed, eager to see Roman get his comeuppance.

"All right, attach it to his shoulder," Merlot's colleague instructed.

"I like that," Merlot said, patting the robotic hand as the technicians wheeled it out of the room.

Merlot then leaned in towards the POV and pointed at it. "You're going to be a bad motherfucker," He whispered with a chuckle.

The POV switched to a laboratory. The OCP employees were having a party.

"What's with the party?" Weiss wondered out loud, drinking a glass of lemon water.

"I assume it's to celebrate Robocops creation," Ironwood answered.

"Hey! Look!" A technician called out, pointing at the screen. "He's watching us!"

A pair of technicians approached the POV and blew party horns at it. Ciel drunkenly approached and crouched down.

"This is for you. Happy new year," Ciel slurred she placed her party hat on the robots head.

Ciel then planted a kiss on the robots visor, leaving a lipstick mark. She then fell on her backside.

The POV switched once more. It was now half-obscured by a clear plastic tarp. Albert Merlot and a group of OCP employees were partially visible.

"We get the best Remnant has to offer," Merlot announced proudly. "The fastest reflexes modern technology has to offer, automated computer assisted memory, and a lifetime of on the street law enforcement programming. It is my great pleasure to present to you—"

Merlot pulled off the tarp.

"Robocop."

The crowd of attending suits applauded as the POV of Robocop rose to eye level.

A few audience members clapped as well, including Ruby and Yang. While still saddened his memory had been erased, they were still eager to see they're father in action as Robocop.

"Is that how it was when you were activated, Penny?" Ruby asked curiously.

"Not quite. The first thing I ever saw was my father looking down at me smiling," Penny explained, fondly remembering her 'birth'.

"Come on! Come on! That's for you," Merlot said, motioning Robocop to follow him.

"Go Robo!" Polendina cheered as Robocop walked past him.

Later that evening, a convoy of OCP vans and trucks approached the VPD precinct.

"I wonder how they'll react to Robocop," Penny wondered aloud.

"On one hand, they'll be happy to have him onboard. On the other, they might be worried they'll all be out of a job," Winter assumed, remembering many Atlesian soldiers were concerned they were being replaced by the new AK-200s.

Inside the precinct, Qrow sat behind his desk while listening to an unstable man giving a statement.

"I'm what you call a repeat offender! I will offend again! I get my orders for a higher source," The man babbled.

"Shut up, asshole," Qrow sneered at the man.

"Just another night at the precinct," Qrow muttered.

"It must be stressful being a cop in a hellhole like this version of Vale," Neptune commented.

At that moment, the OCP team entered the precinct, much to the surprise of the VPD officers.

"Bring him in through the side door," Ciel instructed the technicians.

"Get a cell set up for observation," Merlot added.

"Hey! What's going on here?!" Qrow demanded as he approached Merlot.

"Who's this guy?" Merlot asked, referring to Qrow.

"Sergeant Qrow Branwen," Polendina replied.

"What's this all about?" Qrow asked.

"It's about official OCP business," Merlot replied clapping Qrow on the shoulder. "So please, get lost."

"Rude corporate asshole," Qrow sneered, feeling he'd deck Merlot if he spoke to him that way in real life.

Merlot and Polendina walked past an outraged Qrow.

"We got four or five days to set up everything," Merlot notified his crew.

"Hey, this is bullshit!" Qrow shouted. "I take my orders from—"

Qrows words died in his throat as he spotted a bulky, humanoid shape half-concealed by a pane of opaque glass. It walked along slowly, it's footsteps heavy and metallic. Qrow and his fellow officers watched dumbfounded as Robocop emerged from behind the glass with it's back facing them. He was tall and covered in thick, grey armored plates with patches of black latex at his joints and midsection.

"Wow. Dad looks awesome!" Ruby muttered, mesmerized.

"He certainly looks formidable," Penny added.

"Nice looking robot," Neptune complimented.

"I like him way more than ED-209," Nora said.

"Now that's more how I roughly envisioned Robocop," Oobleck said with a nod.

"What is this shit?" the perp muttered.

The officers hurried down a nearby hallway that led to the precincts cellblock.

They spotted Robocop and the OCP team in one of the cells. This time, they could see him from the front, revealing that only his lower face appeared to be flesh while the rest was metal. A thin black visor served as his eyes.

"When you're at rest, you will sit in the chair," Ciel ordered.

"Yes, I understand," Robocop replied in an electronic monotone before sitting down in a chair designed for him.

"What about tracking?" Merlot asked.

"We check his exact location with one of these," Flynt replied, holding up a GPS device with Robocops location indicated by a blinking red dot.

Flynt handed the tracker to Merlot, who then passed it to Polendina.

"How does he eat?" Merlot continued questioning.

"His digestive system is extremely simple," Flynt explained, leading the two suits to a food dispenser. "This processor dispenses a rudimentary paste that sustains his organic systems."

Flynt filled a plastic cup with the paste. It was a brown, globby substance. He handed the cup to Polendina, who tasted it curiously.

"Ugh! That stuff looks gross," Nora said in disgust.

"So he still requires nutrients to function," Oobleck noted with interest. "That means he's not entirely robotic."

"It tastes like baby food," Polendina said, offering the cup to Merlot

Merlot shook his head. "Knock yourself out."

Merlot walked off while Polendina shrugged and kept eating the paste.

"Give me a grid," Merlot instructed.

Ciel approached the seated Robocop with a pen in hand.

"Target," Ciel instructed.

The pen flashed green under Robocop's targeting system.

"Check," An off screen technician said.

"Now follow," Ciel instructed.

Robocop's gaze followed the pen as Ciel waved it around.

"Check," the technician said again.

"Voice stress analyzer," Ciel said.

"Check."

On Robocops POV, two voice wavelengths appeared under voice/stress.

"One, two, three," Ciel said.

"Ahhhh," Flynt vocalized.

The wavelengths reacted to Flynt and Ciel's voices.

"Record, now playback," Ciel instructed. "Bring it up 50%. Full frame,"

"It seems Merlot took far more precautions than Watts did with ED-209," Penny noted from all the tests Robocop was undergoing.

"It's the chance of a lifetime for Merlot to get into Ozpin's good graces. He can't afford to overlook anything," Port said, drinking a diet soda.

"Even so, Watts won't take it sitting down," Winter reminded, remembering the nasty look he gave Merlot after ED-209's malfunction.

"I think he's ready," Ciel announced. "We got it."

"All right, clear out," Merlot instructed as he approached Robocop up close. "What are your prime directives?"

"Serve the public trust. Protect the innocent. Uphold the law," Robocop answered

Aforesaid prime directives appeared on Robocop's POV in green letters.

"That's good," Merlot said softly. "That's very good."

A fourth directive was listed as classified as Robocop watched an ecstatic Merlot kiss Ciel on the lips. She gaped in shock and disgust.

"Ew!" Coco and Velvet grimaced together.

"Dirty old bastard," Qrow sneered at the screen.

"He's old enough to be her father," Weiss said with disgust.

"I wonder what directive four is," Penny said, scratching her chin.

"I fucking love that guy!" Merlot declared.

Elsewhere in the station, a group of cops were at the practice range. They all fired handguns at wooden, human shaped, targets downrange. Glynda Goodwitch was among them. She ran dry and stopped to reload with a glum expression.

"She probably didn't take Taiyangs death well," Ozpin correctly assumed.

"I'd be kicking myself if that were the real me," Glynda added, still feeling guilt for letting Taiyang's counterpart die.

Glynda then heard automatic gunfire to her left. She peered down the firing line and spotted a bulky, metallic arm holding a large, futuristic looking handgun firing off three round bursts.

Soon the other cops stopped firing as they took notice of Robocop. Glynda moved towards the wielder of the Auto-9.

"It's supercop!" A passing officer said to Glynda.

"Look at that fucking gun!" Another added.

Glynda moved down the firing range where a group of OCP suits and technicians were gathered around Robocop as he scored perfect hits through the wooden target's chest and head.

Merlot was smiling with excitement while covering his ears. An electronic counter on the wall beside Robocop kept score of the rounds he expended, hitting the nineties. He blew off the targets arms and finished by severing the torso from the head.

"Exceptional marksmanship. He could shoot the wings off a rapier wasp," Port complimented with a nod.

"He's certainly combat ready," Penny added, remembering her first day of training with her father shortly after coming online.

"Roman won't stand a chance when Robocop catches him," Pyrrha said, eating a handful of popcorn.

"Shit! This guy is really good!" One cop commented.

"He's not a guy, he's a machine," Another corrected.

"What are they gonna do? Replace us?" A third said worriedly.

"I knew a few of the officers would be worried for their jobs," Winter said.

"I doubt they could afford to replace the entire force with more Robocops," Oobleck reasoned, knowing how expensive such an endeavor would be.

Glynda watched as Robocop twirled his gun before storing it a mechanical holster built inside his right thigh. Robocop then looked at a smiling Merlot. Glynda's eyes widened in surprise and recognition.

"He's still doing his gun twirling trick," Ruby pointed out, realizing that at least part of Taiyang was still alive.

"Then Dr. Oobleck was right. Dad is still in there somewhere," Yang said, feeling a bit relieved.

"And Glynda knows it's him. Or at least suspects it," Ren pointed out.

"Perhaps we'll become partners again," Glynda said expectantly, hoping Robocop wouldn't be angry for her mistake.

"Come on," Merlot beckoned Robocop towards the lobby.

Glynda watched with intrigue as Robocop left the shooting range.

Merlot returned to the precinct lobby

"Branwen?" Merlot called out.

"Yeah?" Qrow answered from behind his desk.

"He needs a car."

Qrow nodded and tossed a set of keys to Robocop as he walked by.

"Thank you," Robocop said as he headed for the parking garage.

"Sure. Anytime," Qrow replied.

"Oh, yeah. Go get 'em boy." Merlot said, eager to hear good results from his creation.

"Yeah dad! Go get em!" Ruby cheered.

"Kick Roman's ass!" Yang added, raising her fist in encouragement.

"Break their legs!" Nora shouted.

In the parking garage, Robocop's police cruiser thrummed to life, and he quickly drove up the exit ramp. He cruised away from the precinct, the sky now a dark purple as night had begun to fall. Robocop sat stoically in the driver seat as he drove towards downtown Vale for his first night out.

Authors Note: I changed some of Roman's goons from their original selves to White Fang members to insert more of RWBY's cast to the story.

Review Response to Jamieoeyes, Roy4, and MarioCatj: You guys are all correct. It was hard writing this chapter. Poor Ruby and Yang. But they're gonna love watching Robocop in action and getting revenge on Roman and his gang.
