You'll notice that some of the chapter either have updated authors notes or they have been deleted all together, don't mind it none, it just something I decided post editing.
When she was really young Selina understood from an early age that her parents did not love her. She knew that she was not wanted nor needed in their life. Sometimes she thought that her sister took care of her just because she needed to not because she wanted to. She doesn't understand why her sister and her friends put up with her but she's thankful that they do.
When Selina was born it was a surprise even to her family. Her mother and father wanted to get rid of her but her grandmother said she was keeping her. After that she was named Selina Eleanor Manson. Her time growing up in the Manson Mansion was less lonely than her sister's time. She was never truly alone because of her sister. When Ms. Asmund became her nanny, she cried and refused to go with her. She would hide in the cupboards or under her sister's bed hoping that her parents gave up on their goal to be rid of her. They didn't. Thankfully her sister was able to strike a deal with the adults that left her with her sister for one weekend and with Ms. Asmund the next. Throughout the week she would stay with her gram so that she could go to school. It all worked out perfectly and she got to spend time with her favorite person, her sister.
Selina was not dumb, despite what many of the other kids in her class thought. She knew her parents did not want her and she knew that if they could they would get rid of her. But she also knew that her gram and Sam, and Danny, and Tucker, and Mrs. Foley and Mr. Foley all cared for and wanted her. She also knew that Danny Fenton, the charming boy her sister was undoubtedly in love with, was Danny Phantom, the ghost boy superhero. She also knew that her sister and Tucker helped him hunt ghosts and other baddies. She knew that Jazz Fenton had done something to betray her brother's trust and in turn be all but verbally kicked off of team Phantom. She knew that Danny's parents were very focused on their job instead of their kids and that sometimes they forgot that they had any kids. She knew that even if Mayor Masters was undoubtedly insane, the trio of friends somewhat trusted the limp noodle. She also knew that despite his disapproval the idea that he did in fact, have a cat.
She sighed, rolling over in her pale colored bed to stare at a white wall with a crudely drawn teddy bear on it. She had done it as an act of defiance because her parents said that she wasn't allowed to leave the house or her room except to go with Ms. Asmund. It felt like she had done it ages ago but really, she had done it before the cameras came to town. The cameras were causing a lot of problems unseen by their viewers. They were causing hostility between a few of the people in the town. There was word going around that the director was telling people what to say about who. All the town agreed that anything bad said about the youngest Fenton would be shut down immediately because of how helpful he was to them. The high schoolers, of course, did not get that memo.
Selina blows out a breath puffing her cheeks out and rolling around to face the door to her room. Sam was acting strange and it was starting to attract attention from their parents. Gram had told her that it was nothing to worry about. So, needless to say, when a ghost girl appeared in her room that looked fairly similar to Danny, she didn't freak out. She only sat up and raised a confused eyebrow at the girl.
"Hi, if you're looking for Sam, you just missed her and you have the wrong bedroom. I'm Selina! And you are…?"
The ghost girl paused looking at the 5-year-old with obvious shock and surprise. "I'm Danielle or Dani with one N and an I. Do…," the girl hesitated looking at the floor bashfully, "do you know where I can find Danny? I really need his help and I checked his house but he wasn't there."
"Did you check home? I mean yeah, Fenton Works is technically his house but his home is the Foley's house."
"I checked there before Fenton Works, it was empty. You said Sam left right?" Dani asks her. "Do you know where she went?"
"No. Sorry," Selina gives her a sad smile. "Wait! I just remembered!" She dives onto her floor and over to her dresser. She opens a drawer where a grey jewelry box is. She pulls out the box and opens it pulling out all the organizers inside of it and dropping them into the floor. Once it was empty, she pulled up a false bottom, under it were a pair of black and white earpieces. "These are Phantom phones; I stole them from Sam but I'm pretty sure she knows I have them. Here, I'll take one and you take one and we'll see if we can get to them." She gives the other girl a bright smile then stuff's all the things she took out of the jewelry box back in it.
Both girls put the pieces on their ears. Once on there was static before voices could be heard.
"Selina," Danny's voice is heard through the pieces causing the girl to smile sheepishly. "I figured you took the pair of Phantom Phones Sam said went missing." He chuckles amusedly.
"Good thinking kid," Tucker says also amused, "at least now we can definitely confirm that you're a smart kid unlike the rest of the town. "But I figure you pulled them out cause you need something. So, what's up?"
"Well," Dani starts off hesitantly, "I need help. I'm shrinking."
"Dani!" Their voices chorus out surprised but elated.
"I couldn't find you guys so I came to Sam's but I ended up in Selina's room."
Sam snorts amusedly, "And I'm guessing all she did was tell you that I was gone and pull these out?"
"No," Selina huffed, "I introduced myself and asked her if she checked in the right places."
There were footsteps outside of her bedroom door. Selina looked at the ghost girl and gestured widely for her to do something before moving quickly to her bed. Dani promptly turned invisible as the door opened. The red hair of Pamela Manson came into view as she glared into the room at the girl sitting on her bed boredly.
"Are you talking to yourself?" She asks the girl incredulously. "It's bad enough you and your sister are alike but you're crazy as well?"
"I wasn't talking to myself ma'am." Selina said looking down at her hands. "There's a ghost in here."
Pamela's expression changed from annoyance to disgust, "It's bad enough that reject disgraceful daughter is friends with that Fenton boy but now we have ghosts!" Her tone goes higher in disbelieving anger. "Just you wait," Pamela points a manicured pink nail at the blonde-haired girl, "they'll be nothing left for either of you." She slams the door as she leaves.
It was quiet for a few minutes. Danielle made herself visible again facing the closet. "You can come out now, I won't hurt you and neither will she." She calls softly.
A figure appears on the other side of the door. She was wearing a white dress with green polka dots and no shoes. Her hair was rose red and her eyes were white. "I'm sorry." She whispered tearfully, not looking at either girl.
"Chrysanthemum, when did you get back?" Selina asks her.
Dani looked at the ghost hesitantly. Jumping when she hears the sound of someone calling her name.
"We've been talking to you two for the past few minutes! Didn't you hear us calling?" Sam informs them sternly.
"Sorry, Mother came in because she heard me talking. Where are you guys anyway?"
"The Ghost Zone." The three older kids reply in tandem. "We're looking for Undergrowth."
The red headed ghost looks down, playing nervously with her fingers, "He's in Amity Forest," she whispers quietly to no one in particular. "He's staying there because he sensed the power of someone he once cared for greatly."
Selina eyed the spirit but repeated what she said to the trio. She huffs going to her dresser and grabbing her hair brush. She goes to the bathroom and shuts the door. She comes back out dressed in a black t-shirt under blue jean overalls that were shorts with green tights on underneath. She grabs a pair of black combat boots that look similar to her sisters. Her hair was pulled into pigtails by green hair ties. She lays on the floor, looking under her bed for something. When she spots it, she gives out a small cry in triumph. She stands up and hands a black backpack with green ghosts covering it to Danielle as she makes her way to her dresser. Selina looks underneath that too and ends up with a couple ecto-guns in her hand.
"We're gonna storm Masters Mansion," she tells the other girls with a bright grin. "I figure he has the answers to your problems." Selina informs ignoring the talking of the teens. She briefly tells them bye then turns off her piece quickly doing the same to Daniell's earpiece.
"How are you gonna do that?" Dani asks looking at the girl curiously. She watches as the girl goes over to her window and opens it, pushing aside the curtains.
"Sam sneaks out through her widow all the time," Selina informs them absentmindedly. "Sometimes she has Danny's help but most of the time she doesn't. We're gonna go through the window and fly to Master's Mansion. From there I'll tell you how we're gonna get in."
Dani blinked looking at the other ghost in the room. Chrysanthemum nods hesitantly, leisurely floating over to the window. She wraps an arm around Selina's waist and the two disappear. Dani blows out a breath as she too leaves the room to hunt down the two wayward girls. She finds them by a greenhouse talking to something. As she floats closer, she sees that it's a green plant creature the size of a baby with a rose for a head. It was cute in a supernatural kinda way.
"Dani this is Bud he's gonna alert Chrysi when Sam gets home for us. He's a golem type creature but not really. Welp let's go!" The three girls join hands and fly off in the direction of Wisconsin.

Touching down on the mansions grass the trio remained invisible. They hid behind a tree so that Selina could explain the plan.
"Now Vlad is very cautious and paranoid about his plan's safety. He makes sure his house is ghost and human proof but if one Tucker Foley owes you a favor then you can get in for free because he is a very skilled hacker. There are a few entrances and exits that are secret and do not cause harm for the person using them. Now really her only showed me cause he was making fun of Vlad's security again and how incompetent it is but I made a map after I saw the plan!" She expressed excitedly. "Getting to his lab might be the hardest part but getting in should be a snap." She looks both girls in the eye with a very Sam look that basically screamed they had no choice but to go along with her. "Let's do this. Go team!" She cheered happily.
They snuck around the border of the mansion to the backside wall where the garage was. Dani boosted Selina up so that she was by the DNA pad. She pulled a powder from her backpack and blew it onto the pad pulling out a piece of saran wrap to put on top of that. She gently eased the wrap over the sensor and followed the handprint and keypad entry code. The garage door opened and the three slipped inside. Selina led them to where there was a series of tools lined neatly up along the wall, she used gloves to move a wrench and an opening appeared. The girls stepped through and the entrance shut behind them.
"You are aware that I lived here basically my whole life, right?" Danielle asks the human girl slightly confused. She receives a nod in reply. "So why not have me just check if I'm still in the system or ask if I know any secret passageways?"
Selina makes a face turning to face the girl as they walk down a dimly lit concrete hallway. "What's the fun in that? Plus, Vlad's a meanie and I like to think he thinks that only Danny and his friends can mess up his plans so this is a lesson for him."
Danielle nods her consent and the trio continue on their way. They come to a dead end until Selina pushes the wall in front of them and it swings outward with a small squeak. They peep their heads out of the opening and cautiously climb out into the hallway. Danielle looks around, visibly lighting up when she recalls where they are and gestures for them to follow her. She turns and closes the entrance then spins on her heel and quickly moves down the hallway. She comes to a stop under a picture of Vlad and his cat, Maddie, and gently feels around the underside of the frame for something. She finds it allowing the picture to swing outward revealing a tunnel/slide. Chrysanthemum and Selina share a look before leaping down the slide, Danielle follows, making sure to close the picture frame behind her.

Amity Forest
"Guys," Tucker calls to his friends who don't falter in their set pace but he knows their listening. "Someone is at Vlad's mansion but I didn't notice them till just now but then they disappeared again."
"Could be Danielle," Danny suggests looking around the forest.
"Or someone else entirely, like, oh I don't know, the owner of said mansion?" Sam asks sarcastically from where she crouched by a bush.
Tucker gives her a sarcastic chuckle making a face at her back, "I just thought it was weird cause they were there one minute then gone the next."
"Looking for me, humans?" A voice calls from off to their right.
The trio share a look then proceed to follow the voice of Undergrowth into the foliage.

Christmas Break, a few weeks later
Sam gives her friends an honest smile as she opens a combination of birthday presents and Christmas presents. Tucker had gotten her a laptop that was virtually untraceable and a picture of her, Selina, and Ida that was supposed to be gone. Danny got her a necklace with a pendant of a frozen rose glowing green with ecto-energy and a retractable lightweight aluminum staff to fend off both ghosts and creeps. She was happy on the outside but on the inside her heart was in turmoil. She was leaving soon and she knew that she couldn't tell them. A few of the staff were in on it and knew better than to say anything to anyone.
Danielle of course, also knew better than to say anything knowing that something bad would happen if Sam stayed. She wished that she could spend more time with Danny but she couldn't and the more time they spent in Amity the faster the clock was ticking. She was reverted to the body and mind of a five-year old and it could have been younger if not for the geniuses that is Selina Manson. Dani hugged her technical father hard, hugging Tucker and his parents just as hard before leaving the room to go to the car waiting outside. Selina gave them a bright bubbly smile bouncing over to give each of them a long hug and a kiss on the cheek then following after Danielle. Sam breathes a shaky smile before composing herself and giving her brother and their parents a hug. She turns to Danny and smiles crashing into him roughly, he laughs and pats her on the back. She steps out of his embrace and gives them all one last look and smile before disappearing out the door. None of them noticed that the presents she had opened were tucked neatly behind the tree or that a lot of her stuff was missing from the Foley residence as well as Selina's and what they had gotten for the now younger Danielle.
Danny watched them go with sad eyes, he knew what was happening and he knew why, sorta. Sam didn't tell them exactly why Gaia wanted her to leave Amity or why it was no longer safe but he trusted them both enough to hope that they made the right decision.
