Author's Note: Well, here it is. The final chapter to the horror fest of "Alien". I know it's short, but there was only about ten minutes left in the movie. Plus, I've been super busy with Christmas shopping and other stuff, so this update was a little late. But anyway, the audience will definitely need something cheerier for the next flick. Speaking of which, I'll be closing the poll a few days after this post.

I'll be posting the next film in a few weeks. Until then, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.

Broski: That's a very good point. But, unfortunately, even Gold-Sith's multiverse viewings will not alter the course of RWBY canon. Not significantly anyway.

Jenny Wakeman: My thoughts exactly. Ruby and Nora would probably be the most thrilled. It'll be like their reaction to "Roger Rabbit" earlier. Those are pretty good casting choices, btw. I'll keep them in mind if I ever do "Toy Story".

Farmer Abe: A little. But that's just me. I don't blame you. I can't find it in myself to mourn the multiverse deaths of characters I despise either. And you're absolutely right. The cast of RWBY should be thanking their lucky stars Salem doesn't have any xenomorphs in her possession. The Grimm are bad enough already.

Guest, Dec 6th: Absolutely. Of course, everyone will be upset to hear Ruby's counterpart grew old and passed away while Summer was in cryosleep for 57 years :(

stormhawk427: I couldn't agree more. What happened to her in this version was still a nasty way to go but at least the horrible implication of what happened to Lambert was excluded in my version. Nobody deserves that fate.

LoamyCoffee: Exactly. I based that revelation on the first time I watched Alien. I knew Ash seemed a little odd, but I never suspected him to be an evil android. And I agree wholeheartedly. Nobody deserves... that at the hands of a vicious alien. Especially Velvet.

Pharamine: Same thing for me when it gets cold. But I still hate winter with a passion. And yes, the audience will definitely have at least some trauma over watching this flick.

Luffy L Deathwalker: You may yet get your wish my friend.

Yang34: Toy Story will be an option for a future adaptation when I do an animated movie. Those are some pretty good cast suggestions. And your right, Ruby as Molly would make everyone gush at her. But she'd be totally embarrassed lol.

Guest, Dec 5: That's also a possibility.

GojiraFan455516: Afraid not my friend. I decided to leave that out.

VirusChris: Yeah, it was a bit short due to delays from my cold. But I expanded it a bit to around 7k words or so. And while I agree that the facehugger's method of killing was no different than what was implied to happen to Lambert. I simply felt it was a bit too cruel and explicit to subject Velvet to it. But even so, it left the audience shaken and open to imagining what horrible thing the alien did to her.

Summer ran back down the dark corridor she'd just came from, grunting and panting with fear now that she was alone with the alien on board.

Summer's predicament put everyone on edge. Alone, terrified, and in a dark environment where the alien could jump out and kill her any second.

"It's so dark...it could be anywhere," Ruby said softly as she gripped her hood with shaky hands.

"Ruby stop...we're all edgy enough as it is," Weiss implored her partner with a shudder.

Yang toyed with the idea of creeping up on Weiss and shouting "BOO!". But she changed her mind to avoid getting chewed out or possibly even slapped by the former heiress.

Summer finally reached a power box labelled emergency. Inside was a red lever. She yanked it down, illuminating three red lights and setting off a steady series of beeps. Next, with sweaty unsteady fingers, she loosened a few screws from a nearby wall panel, which she then tossed aside. Behind the panel were two large levers. With visible effort, she pulled down the two levers while the beeping continued in the background. Nearby, a metal floor hatch opened automatically.

Summer approached the hatch and opened it all the wall. Underneath it the words: "DANGER. EMERGENCY DESTRUCTION SYSTEM. ON ACTIVATION SHIP WILL DETONATE IN T-MINUS 10 MINUTES. FAILSAFE WARNING: CUT-OFF SYSTEM WILL NOT OPERATE AFTER T-MINUS 5 MINUTES."

Summer ran her finger along the instructions of the self-destruct mechanism before getting to work.

"Why would a commercial towing ship even have a self-destruct system?" Clover questioned, believing such a mechanism was more suited for military vessels.

"And what does the reactor run on, dust?" Weiss asked while glancing upwards, expecting an answer from Gold-Sith.

"Actually, no. In this universe, most ships run on what's called nuclear fusion. It's a process involving two particles of light combining into a single heavier one while releasing massive amounts of energy," Gold-Sith explained.

"So... essentially, it's like a miniature star built inside a reactor," Maria deducted from her limited knowledge on such a process (1).

"Exactly. And ice dust is used to stabilize it and keep the reactor from overheating and exploding," Gold-Sith explained.

"Wow. That's...amazing," Winter said in awe.

"Imagine if Atlas could harness such an energy source," Ironwood agreed with his second-in-command.

"Let's not ask for too much Jimmy," Qrow said.

Beneath the panel was a series of white switches and two sets of holes: one big the other small. Summer pressed a few switches before inserting and screwing a plug into one of small holes and then pulled out a metal cylinder from the larger one. On the cylinder was a small panel which she slid open. Inside was a button, which she pressed, illuminating a red light inside before she closed the panel.

"Why is the self-destruct system so complex?" Clover questioned. "In my experience, you usually just press a few switches and that's it."

"Maybe to give the crew a chance to turn it off, if necessary," Ren guessed as he sipped a soda.

Summer repeated the process on the other cylinder with a grimace on her face as she struggled to hold back tears of stress and grief for her deceased crewmates.

"Poor Summer. She probably feels she let Sun and Velvet die," Yang said sympathetically, knowing she'd be the same if Oum-forbid, any of her teammates died in a similar way.

"Either that or she's finally starting to crack under the pressure of the situation," Harriet commented. "Even so, such resolve is remarkable in a civilian."

"Hang in there, mom. You're almost out of there," Ruby encouraged her mother's counterpart.

Just as Summer finished, an alarm sounded off and ice dust exhaust from the ship's coolant system began to vent out all around her.

"Danger. The emergency destruct system is now activated," MUTHER announced over the ships speakers. "The ship will detonate in T-minus ten minutes."

"The option to override automatic detonation expires in T-minus five minutes," MUTHER warned.

"So now she's on a time limit with an alien running around," Blake pointed out the severity of Summers situation.

"Then she'd better haul ass to the shuttle," Harriet said as she sipped a soda.

Summer left the chamber and returned to the engineering corridor with her flamethrower slung over her right shoulder. All around, streams of coolant jetted out, severely limiting her visibility as she placed her hands on the walls to help navigate.

Cut to the second deck. Zwei sat nervously inside his carrier at the foot of a ladder shaft leading to the third deck. From below, Summer peaked out from the shaft before slowly coming up. She peered around cautiously before hoisting up her flamethrower and grabbed Zwei's case as she moved down the corridor, casting a backwards glance every few seconds with her weapon at the ready.

Then she reached a section of the corridor that was very dark. The only light source came from the flashing strobe lights.

"It's even scarier than the derelict ship,"

"Keep going. You're almost out of there," Qrow said softly.

"The option to override automatic detonation expires in T-minus three minutes," MUTHER announced over the ship's speakers.

Summer reached a junction in the corridor. One last turn before making a beeline for the shuttle. She peaked around the corner. And suddenly saw the alien standing right there, blocking her escape route.

Most of the audience gasped at the alien's sudden appearance, thinking it was going to attack Summer.

"Shit! It's blocking her path!" Jaune exclaimed.

"Of all the places it could be," Yang groused at Summer's bum luck.

"Why not use the flamethrower to ward it off?" Marrow questioned then paused in realization. "Oh right...the acid blood."

Gasping, Summer jolted away from the corner, dropping Zwei's cage in the process. She aimed her flamethrower at the corner as the alien peaked around. Panicked, she ran back down the way she came.

Ruby gaped in shock. "How could she leave Zwei behind?!" she cried out indignantly.

"I suppose she dropped him in a panic," Penny suggested.

Meanwhile, the Alien crouched down to "stare" at Zwei, seemingly intrigued by the boxed feline.

Team RWBY all tensed up, fearful that Zwei was going to be killed next.

"Oh no..." Blake whispered shakily.

"Please...not Zwei too," Weiss said as she crossed her fingers for the feline.

Summer clambered back down the ladder to the third deck and backtracked as quickly as she could towards the self-destruct mechanism room.

"The option to override automatic detonation expires in T-minus one minute," MUTHER said over the speakers.

Summer was almost there. She breathed through her clothes to avoid inhaling the spewing coolant.

"Twenty nine, twenty-eight, twenty seven, twenty-six," MUTHER counted down.

Summer reached the panel and began to cancel the self-destruct as fast as she could.

"Twenty five, twenty-four, twenty-three, twenty-two, twenty-one, twenty seconds."

Summer read the instructions quickly and punched in the code to deactivate the mechanism.

"Seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen..."

The cylinders slid back into place while Summer pushed down on them to speed them up.

"Hurry, hurry, hurry," Ruby said anxiously while pumping her fists.

"I believe it may be too late, Ruby," Penny lamented while shaking her head.

"Twelve, eleven, ten seconds..."

With the tubes back in place, Summer flipped open the small panels, hit the buttons, and flipped them off.

"Nine, eight, seven, six..."

Summer hit the remaining switches and glanced up at the countdown timer on one of the monitors overhead.

"Come on!" Summer screamed in frustration as she rushed over to the levers to lift them back up.

"Three, two, one. The option to override detonation procedure has now expired."

"Damn it. She just missed it," Yang hissed as Summer's chances of survival slimmed by the second.

"Now what is she going to do?" Oscar questioned as he slowly chowed on some popcorn. "She's gonna get blown up if the alien doesn't get her first."

"She has no choice now. She has to get to the shuttle somehow," Ozpin said, fully aware that the alien would be waiting for her.

"MUTHER. Turn the cooling unit back on! MUTHER!" Summer shouted at a monitor showing the self-destruct counter was still going down.

"The ship will automatically destruct in t-minus five minutes," MUTHER replied simply.

Enraged, Summer picked up her flamethrower. "You bitch!" she screamed as she swung her weapon's butt a monitor, shattering it in a shower of sparks and broken glass.

"Jeez..." Jaune said with a wince, a little unnerved by Summer's outburst.

"Meh. It's fun to smash stuff. Very therapeutic," Nora said with a grin.

"There are better ways to relieve stress, Nora," Ren lightly scolded his partner.

Out of options, Summer left the chamber and ran back in the direction of the shuttle.

"Oumdamnit!" Summer shouted as she ascended the ladder as fast as she could, hesitating for only a second.

Summer peaked out of the ladder shaft, sweating and trembling as she expected the alien to be right there waiting for her. But it was nowhere to be seen.

With her flamethrower now lit, Summer moved very slowly down the corridor towards the shuttle, yellow strobe lights continued flashing all around her.

Everyone sat back rigid and apprehensive as they kept their eyes glued to the screen. They almost felt like they were right there in Summer's shoes, dreading the alien popping out at any second.

Summer kept advancing, startled briefly by a jet of coolant from a vent in the corridor. Finally, she reached the corner where she spotted the alien. She peaked around, hoping it wasn't there to block her way again.

And fortunately, it was indeed gone.

"Where did it go?" Ren wondered out loud.

"Who cares. She has to get out of there right now," Nora said, knowing the clock was ticking for Summer.

Summer exhaled a little in relief before looking down. Zwei's carrier was flipped on its side, but otherwise he was unharmed.

"Zwei," Summer said simply as she picked up the pet box, happy the feline was okay.

Ruby put a hand to her chest. "Thank Monty," she breathed out in relief.

"It spared him. But why?" Elm wondered as she munched on some Tostitos.

Vine shrugged. "I guess it just wasn't interested in him," he said.

Summer shot a glance behind her, but still the alien was gone. Seizing her last chance, Summer ran into the shuttle just as plumes of fire began to erupt in the corridor she'd just exited, indicating that the coolant had almost run out and the ship's reactor was seconds from exploding.

Panting, Summer hit a switch to shut the doors behind her.

"You now have one minute to abandon ship," MUTHER's voice informed over the intercom.

"The ship will destruct in T-minus one minute," MUTHER said.

With no time to waste, Summer ran to the pilot's seat and sat down. She worked the controls as quickly as she could, flipping switches on an overhead panel.

The clasps holding the shuttle in place retracted with a loud metallic thud.

"Come on! Come on. Get out of there, mom!" Ruby urged through her teeth.

Yang put a hand on Ruby's shoulder. "She'll make it. I know she will," she placated her sister.

The front monitor activated, showing a bright red screen that displayed the whit word: "Purge"

Finished, Summer strapped herself into her seat as the shuttle lowered itself in preparation to launch.

"T-minus thirty seconds," MUTHER announced over the intercom. "Twenty-nine, twenty-eight, twenty seven."

The shuttle finished lowering and its engines quickly hummed to life and thrust the craft away.

The Narcissus shook heavily, bouncing Summer in her seat as she held the seat straps tightly and gazed to watch the Nostromo's underside pass over her through the viewport as she made her escape.

Summer glanced at the countdown timer displayed on a screen while MUTHER continued counting down.

"Twenty seconds. Nineteen, eighteen, seventeen..."

Summer watched wearily as the Nostromo and its refinery quickly faded away in the distance as the shuttle flew away.

"Twelve, eleven, ten seconds..."

"Goodbye, Nostromo," Ren bade farewell to the vessel.

"Goodbye alien bastard," Nora spat, glad her teammates were about to be avenged.

"She still has to get out of the blast radius," Ironwood reminded everyone.

Soon enough, the Nostromo was no longer visible against the empty blackness of outer space. And then...

"Three, two, one…"

The Nostromo was obliterated in a series of three explosions. The first was a bright, orange streak across the darkness of space asteroid impact.

Many in the audience squinted their eyes or shielded their faces with their hands at the sheer brightness from the explosion.

"I wish I'd brought my aviators with me," Yang said as she shielded her face.

The detonation cast a blinding white light over Summer's sweaty face, forcing her to shut her eyes. The shuttle shook from the sheer magnitude of the blast wave.

The second explosion was even larger. Finally, the last explosion was a horizontal wave of orange and yellow that filled the entire viewport, as if threatening to swallow up the fleeing Narcissus.

Ruby, Yang, and Qrow looked briefly alarmed that the explosion would catch up and destroy the Narcissus.

The explosion finally ended, dissipating in a pale blue light in the distance.

"Wow. That was one hell of an explosion," Nora said in a mesmerized voice.

"Yeah. The alien sure went out with a bang," Yang with a cheeky grin while everyone else groaned deeply.

Blake facepalmed. "I knew you were going to make a lame pun sooner or later," she grumbled at her partner.

Yang just huffed defensively. "You guys have no sense of humor," she said.

"I got you…you son of a bitch," she whispered as she closed her eyes closed in exhaustion and relief that the nightmare was over.

"You sure did, mom," Ruby said proudly.

"Just in the nick of time, too. She was lucky," Qrow added.

"I'm guessing the SDC won't be happy about losing the alien. Or such a large shipment of dust," Winter presumed, knowing her father would raise hell about such a matter while ignoring any civilian deaths.

Summer sat in the seat for a few seconds to collect herself before getting up and walking over Zwei's carrier to finally let him out. "It's all right," she soothed the feline.

Summer hugged Zwei, but the cat growled lightly, still grouchy about being inside the carrier for so long.

"I can't blame him after being cooped up inside that stuffy box," Blake said, not liking confined spaces herself.

"Or for Summer leaving him in the corridor with the alien," Weiss added with a frown.

"Shh, it's okay," Summer said softly to Zwei as she hit a nearby switch, illuminating one of the cryotubes.

Summer sat down with Zwei in her lap. "Shh, shh, shh," she cooed to Zwei while petting him. "Silly boy."

Zwei just grumbled irritably again.

"All right, it's nice to see you, too," Summer said sarcastically to Zwei as she placed him inside the cryotube and closed the hatch.

Summer went to a storage locker and grabbed a plastic wrapped set of sleepwear. Next, she undid the zipper of her jumpsuit and slipped out of it to prepare for cryosleep, leaving her only in a white shirt and panties that clung to her shapely figure.

"Oh my..." Jaune said with a blush.

Yang growled at the men. "Hey! Stop ogling her, you perverts!" she demanded loudly.

"Yeah! That's my mother you're all staring at!" Ruby added angrily.

All of the men averted their eyes from the screen immediately out of respect for Summer and to avoid Yang's wrath.

"You guys are so lucky Taiyang isn't here right now," Qrow said as he averted his gaze.

"And Taiyang was lucky to get such a catch," Ozpin commented internally (3).

Glad to finally be out of her grimy clothes, Summer walked over to an overhead panel on the other side of the shuttle and hit a few switches. Then she inspected series of coolant pipes to check the system before finally going into cryosleep.

Then suddenly a black, inhuman hand whipped out from the pipes, prompting Summer to scream in surprise. It was the alien. It's smooth head and biomechanical body perfectly camouflaged within the metal structure of the ship.

"Aaah!" Ruby, Nora, Yang, and Weiss all shrieked with a startled jump.

All the male audience members whipped their eyes back and gasped sharply at the alien stowaway.

"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me! How did it get into the shuttle?!" Qrow shouted in exasperation.

"Maybe it instinctively knew it had to escape the ship," Oscar theorized, hoping he was wrong, and it was simply more bad luck on Summers part.

"Oh, come on! It can't be that smart...can it?" Nora asked nervously.

For a few seconds, Summer stood paralyzed with her hands over her mouth before the alien looked at her with its slimy mouth open. Horrified, Summer then rushed to the other side of the shuttle and quickly took shelter inside an EVA suit storage locker, shutting the door behind her.

"Why isn't it attacking her?" Vine wondered aloud.

"It could be tired. Or perhaps it's dying. Who knows?" Maria guessed with nothing to go on.

"Or maybe it's biding its time. It wants to enjoy her fear before it kills her, like it did with Velvet," Penny gave her opinion, angrily remembering what it did to Velvet.

"Like hell it will!" Yang snarled with a scrunched face.

Long seconds dragged by before Summer stared back at the alien on the other side of the shuttle. It lazily reached out with its hand before withdrawing it. She continued observing the creature as it lay inside the wall and stared back. But it didn't attack for some reason.

Summer's gaze shifted to her right and she spotted an EVA suit. Just like that, she got an idea she could only pray would work. She moved over to the suit and slowly placed her legs inside it.

"She's got another idea," Ruby realized, admiring her mothers determination.

"It had better work, or she's screwed," Harriet commented.

"And even if it spares her, there's a risk it'll reach Remnant. And if that happens..." Oscar began but couldn't finish his sentence.

Oscar's words made everyone's blood run cold. They could imagine the alien running amuck on Remnant claiming even more victims.

Meanwhile, the alien opened its jaws, slowly exposing it's second mouth at Summer. Summer kept moving into the suit, never taking her eyes off the creature in case it left its hiding place.

"Ugh! It just gets grosser every time we see it," Nora gagged at the close-up of the alien.

Summer placed both her arms in the suit and squeezed the collar shut as she zipped it shut. Then she moved to the helmet and respirator, placed it on and activated it, turning the internal lights on. She then checked the shoulder pads and tapped one of them.

Finally, Summer grabbed a grappling hook gun and loaded it with a bolt. Gripping the gun, Summer opened the door and slowly stepped out of the locker. The inside of the helmet began to fog up and drip with moisture from Summer's barely controlled breathing.

"She's barely keeping it together," Marrow noted.

"You can't blame her. I'd probably be crapping myself at that point," Oscar admitted shamelessly.

"I'm not sure if I'd even be able to leave that storage locker," Jaune added.

"Come on...come on," Summer muttered to herself as she sat down at a control panel beside the cryopods.

"You... are... my lucky star," Summer began to sing softly to calm her nerves as she set the grappling gun in her lap.

The alien hadn't moved from its hiding place. It almost appeared to be sleeping. If it was even capable of such a function.

"Well come on," Summer whispered as she pushed a switch on the control panel, coolant stored inside the ship jetted out near the alien.

"I see now. She's going to flush it out of its hiding spot," Ruby guessed Summer's intention.

"And then what?" Elm questioned, not following Summers plan.

"Perhaps jettison it out through the hatch. That's what the space suit is for," Penny assumed.

"It's crazy, but it just might work," Nora said with a nod, liking the plan.

"You are my...lucky star," Summer continued singing as she hit another switch, venting the coolant further away from the alien.

"You...you are my lucky star," this time, the coolant finally vented directly onto the alien. It screeched and thrashed about as if in pain.

Summer kept her finger on the button while the alien continued flailing around.

"You are...my lucky, lucky, lucky star..."

Finally, the alien fell out of the and onto the floor and clumsily began to get to its feet with a low growl. But unfortunately, the room then became choked with coolant gas.

"Oh, my Oum," Summer mumbled as her seat rotated around and she began to hyperventilate as she lost sight of the creature.

"Where did it sneak off to now?" Jaune questioned nervously.

"Just like on the Nostromo. It's hiding amongst the coolant," Penny pointed out.

Too scared to move, Summer stayed in her seat. Then she heard a sound behind her. She slowly turned her head and saw the alien standing right behind her. It's toothy, drooling mouth agape and preparing to attack with its deadly, second mouth.

"Oh shit!" Marrow shouted in surprise.

"Look out, mom!" Ruby cried out as she leaned forward.

"Behind you, Summer!" Qrow hollered.

Summer screamed and slammed her hand down hard on the control panel, opening the hatch and depressurizing the entire cabin. Papers and empty boxes went flying around as the air whooshed out from the craft and the Alien was suddenly sucked backwards towards the hatch. But the creature managed to catch itself on the door frame with its hands.

Summer anticipated it thought. She aimed the harpoon gun and fired, hitting the alien right in the stomach. The creature screeched in pain as it was sent falling out of the shuttle and into outer space.

"Yeah! Mom got it!" Ruby cheered, wishing she could jump through the screen and give Summer a congratulatory hug.

"So long, you ugly bastard!" Nora jeered at the screen.

The hatch door slammed shut but caught the tip of the gun as Summer released it, leaving the Alien suspended and attached to the craft like a safety cord. It spun around in zero gravity with its limbs outstretched as it floated back towards the shuttle and bumped into the closed hatch.

Summer ran to the airlock and peered out the viewport. She saw the alien wasn't about to give up as it swung and clamped its barbed tail onto one of the shuttle's engines, hoisting its body inside.

"It's trying to climb back onboard," Ren pointed out in alarm.

"Damn. Stubborn bastard, isn't he?" Harriet said with reluctant admiration of the creature's tenacity.

"How is it still alive in the vacuum of space?" Ironwood questioned. "Does it even need oxygen to survive?"

"I hate to say it, but Oscar was right. It is one tough son of a bitch," Maria begrudgingly agreed with Oscar's counterpart.

But Summer didn't give up either. She sat back down at the control panel and slammed her fist onto it to activate the engines.

Outside, the engines glowed white hot as they blasted directly onto the alien. It lost its grip and was sent flying away. Summer peered out the viewport again. She didn't take her eyes away from the scorched alien until it finally vanished into the vastness of space.

"Maybe, but my mom is even tougher," Ruby said with a smirk.

"She definitely got it that time," Qrow said with a nod.

"Great job, mom. You really blew him away," Yang made another pun, to nobodies' amusement.

"Enough already, Yang," Weiss scolded the blonde joker.

Cut to Summer sitting in a chair wearing a white robe and Zwei snoozing in her lap.

"Final report of the commercial starship Nostromo, third officer reporting. The other members of the crew, Ren, Velvet, Sun, Neptune... Oscar and Captain Arc are dead," Summer said, pausing in disgust before mentioning Oscar for his betrayal.

Oscar cleared his throat and shifted uncomfortably in his seat, still ashamed of his counterpart's villainy.

"Cargo and ship destroyed. I should reach the frontier in about six weeks. With a little luck, the network will pick me up. This is Summer Rose, last survivor of the Nostromo, signing off," Summer concluded.

"I assume the frontier is the border of human inhabited space," Ironwood guessed.

"But Velvet said it was ten months back to Remnant, right?" recalled Velvet's previous line.

"Yep. It's gonna be a looooong journey home," Elm emphasized.

Cut to Summer sleeping in her cryotube with Zwei as she finally began to head home.

"I doubt you'll have them...but sweet dreams, mom," Ruby said softly.

With that, the film ended and Gold-Sith's shimmering golden image appeared on screen.

"Well, I'm guessing you all found that viewing quite frightening," Gold-Sith asked the obvious.

"To say the least, but I enjoyed it," Ruby said, prompting nods from everyone else.

"Me too. I'm a pretty big horror film buff myself," Marrow praised the film.

"Well, I'm definitely going to have nightmares. But the ending made it worth it," Nora said, referring to the unforgettable and terrifying chestburster scene.

"Yes. But don't forget, that egg-filled derelict ship is still on that moon. What if somebody else finds it?" Ironwood said nervously, making everyone look uneasy.

"Let's hope that doesn't happen. I'd prefer it if we never saw one of those things ever again," Ruby said. (4)

Gold-Sith paused at Ruby's statement before speaking. "Well, then. Since only an hour has passed outside, who's in the mood for something more lighthearted than the last viewing?"

"Absolutely," Nora agreed quickly, wanting to forget the previous film.

"It'd be a nice change of pace," Penny seconded.

"I agree. I've had enough horror for one night," Oscar said, knowing he'd be nervous about going to the bathroom alone at night.

"Well, then you'll like the next film. If anyone wants to exit the theater to use the bathroom or stretch your legs, go right ahead," Gold-Sith offered.

A few audience members complied and headed out the double doors while Gold-Sith prepared the next viewing.

(1)- I'm pretty sure that humans of Remnant understand fusion and how stars function, even if they can't perform it like Earth humans do.

(2)- At this point, the cocoon scene would have been added. But I decided to be realistic and leave it out, because the entire scene took up about five minutes, which Ripley simply didn't have to spare while the self-destruct mechanism was counting down. Plus, I felt it left a sense of dread and mystification about what happened to Jaune. To me, nothing is scarier than the unknown.

(3)- Taiyang would be pissed yet nostalgic about his most intimate nights with Summer during this scene.

(4)- Oh, Ruby. If only you knew. *cough* Aliens *cough*
