(Five Years After Kyuubi Attack - October 10)
It was a warm night in the leaf village, the sun was just going down, it was starting to dim. A town lights were coming up and we still could see many people going around the village doing their business. Unlike many other villages, even though Konoha was the most powerful village in the elemental nations it didn't seem militaristic or cold. Many people if they saw Konoha would say that it wasn't a shinobi village, however the mountain that surrounded the north part of village was a dead giveaway. In it were carved the faces of the most powerful shinobi to ever live.
It was October 10th, the village was covered in decorations and celebrating the defeat to the Kyuubi that attacked 5 years ago. Everyone in the village was happy, it were times of peace. The wars were long forgotten, but not the hate and pain of many that were lost. Although everyone seemed happy one particular kid was very sad and lonely.
Uzumaki Naruto was an orphan of the Kyuubi attack, he was about 3 feet 11 inches and had spiky blonde hair, the bluest eyes anyone ever had and in each cheek he had three whiskers marks, a birth mark. He was wearing a white shirt with short sleeves with a orange swirl in his back and black pants.
Despite begin what appeared to be a normal child Naruto was hated and despised by most of the village, he was a painful reminder of the kyuubi attack. He was expelled from the orphanage at the age of 4 and lived in the streets for about a month until the hokage's ANBU found him and took him to the Sandaime. Sandaime eventually became a grand father figure to him. He gave Naruto a small apartment and allowance to live but Naruto was constantly pursued by the villagers and constantly abused and beaten.
The stores kicked him out or sold him rotten merchandise or charged twice the price. Even in the orphanage he still received the same treatment. Growing up in this kind of life forced Naruto to mature quickly if he wanted to survive. Because of this treatment Naruto became a highly intelligent kid that could rival a Nara, he became cold and calculative to everyone except his closest people that in his case were simply the hokage himself and the owners of a rammen stand. Only three people cared for Naruto and wondered if he was eating or sleeping well. During his birthday things were even worse because the villagers and a few shinobi would gather up and hunt him down like an animal and here is where we are.
A scared kid was running through the streets of Konoha trying his best to avoid the villagers and shinobi in hot pursuit. The villagers were shouting:
"Die demon"
"Get him, finish what the yondaime started"
Naruto wondered what did he ever do to deserve such treatment and harsh life.
"Stop please, what did I ever do to any of you?" asked Naruto, running as fast as he could, his legs starting to giveaway.
"Oh please you know very well what you did. You killed my brother and my father" shouted one of villagers as he threw an empty bottle.
"We will finish what the yondaime started and kill the demon" the villager said as the other support him.
Naruto kept running until he looked behind to his pursuers and noticed that a couple of them appeared to be chunin.
Even though Naruto was a stamina freak, a 5 year old couldn't compete with the speed of a chunnin. The chunnin quickly close the distance between him and Naruto, he took out a kunai and did a horizontal slash. Naruto seeing the kunai that would most likely kill him he ducked. Has he was ducking he noticed that time appeared to be slowing down. After dodging the slash he unwillingly channeled chakra to his legs trying to jump over a fence to get away.
The rest of the shinobi seeing this were actually surprised but they couldn't let the demon get away so all of them threw a couple of kunai at him while saying "Kunai Shadow Clone Jutsu" the kunai multiplied to 15 and were going fast at Naruto.
Naruto knowing that he couldn't dodge them all in mid air started observing them and calculating the best way to avoid them. It was then that it happened, his vision suddenly became clearer and the incoming kunai seemed to almost stop, just by looking at them he could see where they would land. Reacting to his instincts Naruto quickly caught one kunai with his hand and started deflecting all of them except one that managed to pass his defenses and hit his shoulder.
He cried out in pain but managed to get over the fence and to safety. He pulled the kunai of his shoulder and noticed that the wound was already closing.
"I wonder why am the only person to heal this fast" he asked himself while walking through the village hidden in the shadows to avoid the villagers, but he quickly noticed that his vision was different, it was black and white and he could see people with a blue flame inside of them that surrounded their body. He tried to push his eyes to see better and suddenly he passed out in the alleyway, the stress and exhaustion of running and taking a kunai to the shoulder was too much.
(Naruto's Mindscape)
Naruto awoke in what it seemed to be a sewer. There were pipes in every wall and the floor was filled with water with about 8 inches in height. He wondered through the endless corridors wondering where he was when he heard a deep voice calling him.
"Follow my voice ningen we have so much to discuss" said a strange voice
After walking for a couple of minutes Naruto found himself staring at a big iron doors with verticals bars. The middle of the door it was a small paper with the kanji for 'Seal'. He looked inside the cage but it seemed empty.
"Hello anyone here?" asked naruto as he looked around but didn't find anyone
"So my jailor finally graces me with his presence" said the same deep voice that naruto heard but this time light illuminated the cage and naruto came face to face with a fox having nine tails swirling behind the fox.
"Ano who are you?" asked Naruto in confusion
"Me? I am the great Kyuubi, who can destroy mountains and villages with just an arm swing" said kyuubi while leaking a bit of KI
"Kyuubi but jiji told me that Yondaime killed you? Was that a lie?" askes naruto
"Indeed, the third hokage was feeding you lies about you, me, your name, your clans and most importantly your parents" said kyuubi
"What? I have a clan? Do you know my parents? Who were they? Did they loved me?" asked naruto in quick succession
"In order, yes you had a clan. I know your parents. They loved you very much and as per who they were that I will tell you later" said kyuubi
Naruto shed some tears but wiped them away, "At least I know they loved" said naruto as he sat cross legged in front of kyuubi's cage.
"Indeed, you belong to two clans. First is your father from him you belong to a clan that specialises in speed, strength and chakra reserves. They were known as the Namikaze. Your father was Namikaze Minato" kyuubi told naruto who went wide eyed at his revelation
"My dad sounds badass dattebayo" cheered naruto happily
"But it was nothing in comparison to your mother's clan, They were based on a island outside fire country known as Uzushiogakure which was surrounded by large chakra laced whirlpools. They were known as Uzumaki Clan, your mother Uzumaki Kushina was the princess of that clan. You are a prince technically" said kyuubi as he informed Naruto of his mother
"If I am a prince why do they treat me badly?" asked naruto
"they fear me, your legacy as you have the potential to be the strongest shinobi, because your parents were Strongest of their time. After that it is me who they fear as I attacked the village 5 years ago" was all kyuubi said when naruto cut him off
"What made you attack konoha?" asked naruto in confusion
"I will tell you but continuing, did you notice any changes in your eyes?" asked kyuubi
"Yes, things were slower and I was seeing people as black and white along with blue flames in them" informed naruto
"Yes it is a dojutsu that belonged to your clan, it was a rare dojutsu that I have last seen in your grandfather Uzumaki Arashi, the last user of Uzushiogakure before it's fall" informed kurama
"Cool, what is it called?" asked naruto as he noticed change in his eyes in the reflection as it has a blue eye colour and a white swirl with a faint glow in it.
"It is called Rinri-Shingan" replied kyuubi.
"What does it do?" asked asked naruto as he was mesmerized by his eyes.
"Hm it does lot of things, First is control over five elements and sub-elements. Second is better perception and you can view a persons chakra natures and chakra type. Third is Banishing Shift. It can summon a void to neutralize chakra techniques. Fifth will be a good control over genjutsu." said kyuubi
"Will you teach me?" asked naruto in hope
"Huh?" was all kyuubi spoke
"Would you like to teach me? No one teaches me. I don't even know how to read and write" said naruto as he started crying.
"Very well, do not worry I will teach you everything and the time you will be of age 10, I will tell you why I attacked the village and what really happened the day you were born" said kyuubi
"Thank you kyuubi-sensei" said naruto
"And also one more thing do not tell anyone about your dojutsu or me. I will speak in your mind and you can reply to me or speak to me just by thinking" said kyuubi
"Ok and what were you saying sandaime lying to me?" asked narutop
"He wants you to be weapon of your village, your mother warned me about it and I have heard the conversation when you were a day old they didn't know that but lot of people were on that plan." said kyuubi angrily.
"Who are they?" asked naruto with a little bit worry
"They were Third Hokage, his advisors, Elder Danzo, Shinobi Council, Civilian Council, Your father's sensei Jiraiya, Your father's student Hatake Kakashi, Your relative from cousin clan Senju Tsunade" said kyuubi
"What should I do now?" asked naruto
"I will train you for 6 months so that you will able to survive in outside world and after that we will leave this village and go to your mother's homeland Uzushiogakure and continue your training" said kyuubi
"can we rebuild Uzushiogakure?" asked naruto in hopeful tone.
"Yes we can but it will be later" said kyuubi
Naruto nodded and asked, "What are we going to train in and when can we begin?"
"We will began tomorrow, and I will start with your basics of how to read and write and basic shinobi arts such as weapon throwing, taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu and kenjutsu after basic survival training" said kyuubi
"Alright" said naruto as he started fading so he panicked and asked "What's happening?"
"You are waking up, remember do not tell anyone and be careful" said kyuubi
"Hai thank you" said naruto and disappeared from the mindscape.
(Outside Mindscape)
Naruto opened his eyes slowly and found himself staring at white ceiling and he also started to get annoyed from smell of anaesthesia.
"Uhh I hate hospitals" muttered naruto
"Are you alright naruto-kun?" asked a voice and naruto looked up to see third hokage standing in front of him.
Naruto immediately had flshbacks of his talk with kyuubi, continuous lies told by third hokage regarding his parents, his clan and why people hated him in konoha.
"Naruto do not say anything, behave like nothing happened" kyuubi warned naruto through mental link
"Jiji, how did I get here?" asked naruto heeding to kyuubi's advice.
"My anbu found you passed out while you were bleeding and they brought you here" said third hokage
"Ohh thank them for saving me jiji but can I ask you a question?" said naruto as he asked question in the end to sandaime.
"What is it naruto-kun"? asked hird hokage
"Why do they hurt me? why no one want to be my friend jiji? say why don't I have a family? who are my parents?" asked naruto as his eyes become watery
"I am sorry naruto-kun, I don't have knowledge to answer your questions but I know a way you can gain friends and people will stop hating you" said third hokage in his grandfatherly tone "yes little bit more and he will be loyal to the village" thought sandaime
Naruto immediately perked up "What is it jiji?" asked naruto
"Become Hokage naruto and when you protect these people and your home they will start respecting you" said third hokage
"Follow his words naruto, for now" said kyuubi
"Alright jiji, I will become hokage like you dattebayo" said naruto keeping up his act
"Good decision naruto-kun, next year I will enroll you into the academy" said third hokage
"Hai jiji, can I leave now? I want to go home" said naruto in a sad voice
"You are free to leave naruto-kun" said hokage and naruto nodded and walked out of the room.
"good work" said kyuubi
'It was difficult dattebayo, now what should we do next?' asked naruto as he continued to walk outside of hospital
"First go home and rest, I will began teaching you tomorrow" said kyuubi
'thank you for everything' said naruto and ran towards his apartment
"Like mother like son, I will watch him more before revealing anything about me" thought kyuubi as he himself went sleep
Naruto reached his apartment after a few minutes and before entering he looked at the hokage mountain more specifically at his father's head
"I don't know what made you seal kyuubi in me but I will make you and mom proud dad, just wait I will be the best shinobi and become a man you will be proud of dattebayo" said naruto to himself and walked into his apartment and excited about his future training under kyuubi and getting out of konoha.
