Chapter 14-Reunions
Kane's P.O.V
Kane held Aurora's hand as the dropship went barreling through space. "This was a terrible idea!" Murphy shouts.
"We are pretty good at those," Wells says.
"We're about to enter the atmosphere," Sinclair says. "Let's hope this goes well," Sinclair says as the dropship begins to shake.
Clarke's P.O.V
Clarke stood in her room putting her armour on. She jumped went she heard a bang. She runs out to the balcony and looks at the dropship. "Holy shit," Clarke says as she runs to her bed and grabs her sword and runs out of the room. She runs down the halls. She gets to elevator as Lexa, Anya, and Gustus get there.
"Was that a dropship?" Anya asks.
"Yes," Clarke answers.
"They aren't supposed to be down for five months, Clarke," Lexa says.
"I know, Lexa," Clarke says. "We have to go."
"Let's go," Lexa says as they go to elevator.
Jake's P.O.V
Jake runs out of his house as the dropship falls out of view and hits the ground. "Who could that be?" Octavia asks as Jake comes up to the stables where Raven, Lincoln, Ontari, Otan and Luna were waiting.
"I don't know," Jake says. "The prisoners and Kane aren't supposed to be down for 5 months. Unless—"
"Unless?" Octavia asks.
"Sinclair was building your Dad a dropship. Just in case you were ever found, if Kane used it, it was life and death," Jake says. "We're closer to the crash sight, let's go."
Murphy's P.O.V
Murphy looks around the ship. "Everybody okay?"
"Mostly," Jasper says as he unbuckles himself. The others slowly unbuckle themselves and walk towards the door.
"You brought us down here, Kane. Only fit you're the one who opens the door and possibly kill us," Murphy says.
"Thanks, Murphy," Kane says as he grabs the lever. He pulls the lever down and the door starts to lower to the ground. The metal hits the ground and the group stares at the ground as the sun shines on them. Kane smiles as he starts to walk down the ramp with the others following him. He steps on the ground and lets out a sigh. "Welcome home, everybody," Kane says as they stare at the ground. Harper, Jasper, and Monty walks towards the woods as David and Miller walk around touching the grass.
"So what now? What about, Octavia?" Bellamy asks.
"If they are alive, they'll fine us," Abby says. "We should stay right here."
"I agree, with Abby," Kane says. "Let's enjoy this."
The others smile as they start to disperse. Kane wraps his arms around Aurora. "We made it," Aurora says.
"We're going to see our daughter again."
Charlotte's P.O.V
Charlotte sat in her cell staring at her celling. Everybody had heard about Kane leaving on a dropship. Charlotte sighs as she thinks back to the last conversation she had with Murphy.
Two days ago
Charlotte walks into the visitor room and looks at Murphy who was waiting for her. "Hi," Murphy says as he hugs the girl. "You doing, okay?"
"I'm okay," Charlotte says as she sits down. "Is everybody else okay?"
"Yeah, we're doing fine, kid," Murphy says. "We need to talk?"
"About?" Charlotte asks.
"Everything," Murphy says. "Do you remember what happened to Clarke Griffin?"
"Yeah, she was floated," Charlotte says.
"She wasn't, she escapted to the ground with her Dad Jake, Raven Reyes and Kane's daughter, Octavia."
"Kane has a daughter?"
"Yes, a second child," Murphy says. "The thing is that were pretty sure they are closing in on him and we're going to have to leave the Ark. With a dropship."
Charotte says silent for a moment. "Why are you telling me this?" Charotte asks.
"In five months, the council will be sending down the prisoners in the skybox. We'll most likely already be down there, but you won't until the prisoners come. So I need you to do something for me, make allies in here Charlotte, make friends, so when you come down, we'll have more allies. Can you do that?" Murphy asks.
"Yes," Charlotte says.
"Good girl, no one can know though."
Charlotte nods as Murphy stands up and hugs her. "I love you, John."
"I love you, too kid. We'll see you soon," Murphy says as he kisses her head. "I promise."
Present
Charlotte looked at the door as it opened, and a girl was pushed in. "Hi," Charlotte says as the girl sits down.
"Hi," She says.
"I'm Charlotte."
"Claire," Claire stood at five-two in height, she had an average build. She had long light brown hair and light blue eyes. "What are you in for kid?"
"I attacked a guard. You?"
"Murder."
Octavia's P.O.V
Octavia rode her horse through the woods. "Should we all go out with you?" Lincoln asks.
"Yes, we want them to see us as allies, the moment they meet you," Jake says. "We're almost there," It only takes a few more minutes until they are about a minute walk from the dropship. "You ready?" Jake asks Octavia who nods as she climbs out of her horse and walks out of the woods. She saw Kane talking with Aurora and Abby, Murphy and Wells talking with Harper, Miller, Jasper, Bellamy, and Monty and Sincliar, Wick, and David were talking.
"Dad," Octavia says making them all look at her, Jake, and Raven.
"Octavia," Kane says as he runs up to his daughter and hugs her quickly followed by Bellamy and Aurora. Kane kisses his daughters head as she holds him tight. "I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you too."
Jake watches Abby as she walks up to him. "I'm sorry," She says as he voice breaks. "I'm so sorry," Jake grabs his wife's arm and pulls her into a hug.
"It's okay," Jake says as he kisses her head. "It's okay."
"Nice ship," Raven says as she hugs Sinclair. "It's really good to see you."
"You too, Reyes," Sinclair says.
"Why'd you bring assface?" Raven asks as she looks at Wick.
"Didn't have a choice."
"I helped build this ship, Reyes," Wick says.
"Sure," Raven says.
Kane let's go of Octavia who hugs her mother. After she let's her go and hugs her brother. "Miss me?" Bellamy asks.
"Everyday," Bellamy says. "Everyday."
"Where's Clarke?" Wells asks as he walks up to them. Abby let's go of Jake.
"Is she okay?" Abby asks.
"Clarke's fine, she's with Lexa, she'll be here soon."
"Lexa? Also who are your friends?" Murphy asks as he looks at the grounds, his hand above his gun.
"They are grounders, this is their land," Jake says. "That's Lincoln, Otan, Emori, and Luna."
"How many of them are there?" David asks.
"A couple hundred thousand," Luna answers. "We're friendly enough."
"I get it. They look like they want to kill you all, but we wouldn't be alive without them, they're our people are much as you guys are. They are our allies," Jake says. "I trust every one of them with my life."
"He's right," Octavia says.
"Then I guess we'll have to give them a chance," Kane says. "Who's Lexa?"
"She's the Commander of the twelve clans. Clarke is her second and the ambassador of Skaikru," Raven says.
"Skaikru? What is that?"
"It will be easier to explain all of this when Lexa and Clarke get here," Jake says. "Let's just wait for them. Also when they get here, you're gonna tell us why you used the ship."
"I will," Kane says.
Clarke's P.O.V
Clarke stops her horse by Octavia's horse and looks at Lexa, Anya, and Gustus. "Told you they'd beat us," Clarke says.
"Fine, you were right, Clarke," Lexa says.
"You okay, Commander? Did that hurt your pride?" Clarke asks with a smirk.
"Flirt with each other later," Anya says making them blush. "Let's go," Clarke nods as she walks out of the woods. The others were still near the edge and Wells saw her first.
"Clarke!" Wells shouts as he runs up to his best friends and runs straight into her pulling her into a bear hug. Clarke smiles as she hugs him. "You're alive, you're here."
"I'm here," Clarke says with a grin as she holds him. She lets him go. "I've missed you so much."
"I have too."
"Looking good there, princess," Murphy says as he walks up to them.
"John Murphy? What the hell are you doing down here?" Clarke asks as she looks at the teen.
"Someone had to keep track of our best friend," Murphy says making Clarke look at Wells who nods.
"I'm gonna to hear more about that later," Clarke says as she looks at her Mom. "Hi, Mom," Clarke says as she walks up to her Mom.
Abby smiles as she grabs her daughter and hugs her. "My baby," Abby says as she kisses her head.
"We have a lot to talk about," Clarke whispers as she holds her mother and Abby nods. She let's her go and looks at Kane. '"Good to see you, Kane."
"You too, Clarke."
"Are you going to introduce us, Clarke?" Anya asks.
"Oh yeah," Clarke says. "That's Anya, that's Gustus and that's Lexa, the Commander."
"You're the Commander?" Kane asks Lexa who nods.
"Is there a problem with that?" Lexa asks Kane.
"No, just younger than I expected," Kane says.
"We thought the same thing," Clarke says.
"Shut up, Clarke," Lexa says. "You are Marcus Kane, you're Octavia's father. So I take you're her mother Aurora, and her brother, Bellamy?"
"Yes, Commander," Aurora says.
"This is Jasper Jordan, Monty Greene, John Murphy, Nathan Miller, David Miller, Harper Mclntyre, Jacapo Sinclair, Kyle Wick, Abby Griffin, and Wells Jaha," Kane says as he points at each person.
"Nice to meet all of you," Lexa says. "Why are you here? I was led to understand your people wouldn't be coming down for five months."
"Jaha found out about Octavia," Kane says.
"What about her?" Anya asks.
"On the Ark it is illegal to have a second child. He found out that Aurora and I were her parents and we're going to have us floated. Sinclair had been building this ship for years, since Octavia was born and over the last 7 months. We have gain a lot of allies, as you can see, we all worked together to get to the dropship and get off the Ark. We don't want any trouble, Commander."
"You won't get any," Lexa says. "Jake, Clarke, Raven, and Octavia have set up alliances with some of the clans, a village is being made for the rest of your people, it is getting closer and closer to completion each day. Jake leads this village with Octavia, and Raven," Lexa says. "As long as you follow our laws and do the same thing that they did, you will find no problems."
"What do we have to do?" Murphy asks.
"Give up your guns, first," Clarke says. "We don't use them, we use swords," Clarke says as she pulls her sword out. "You'll learn to fight like us, use our language, dress like us."
"You learned all of that is seven months?" Jasper asks.
"Yes," Octavia says. "This is how you keep the peace."
"We all want that," Kane says as he throws his gun to the ground. "Throw your guns down."
The others nod as they throw their guns to the ground. "Raven, collect them," Lexa tells the woman who nods as she starts to pick the guns up. "Collect what you need to, we will take you to the village soon," Lexa tells the others who nod as they start to walk back towards the ship. Jake looks at Clarke who nods as he follows Abby. "Are you okay, Clarke."
"I still feel some anger towards my mother for turning my Dad in," Clarke says. "It's weird seeing them all again."
"You'll get used to it," Lexa says. "When you were telling them what they had to do, you kept using we, not they."
"After seven months down here and spending so much time with you in Polis. I feel more grounder than I do Skaikru," Clarke tells her and she nod. "If that bothers you, I can go to the village."
"It doesn't bother me, I want you to feel like that, you are my people Clarke."
"Good," Clarke says. "We should probably go and help them."
"Yes, we should," Lexa says as Clarke starts to walk towards the dropship. Anya walks beside Lexa.
"You're falling in love with her," Anya says.
"I already love her, Anya," Lexa says softly. "But it doesn't matter I have to be alone."
Anya grabs her arm making Lexa look at her. "That is bullshit and you know it. The only thing holding you back, Lexa is you. You're being a coward."
"Let me go," Lexa growls.
"Fine," Anya says as she lets her go. "You deserve to be happy, Lexa. Stop robbing yourself of that," Anya says before she walks towards the dropship and Lexa watches her.
Thanks for reading. Next chapter Lexa finds out that Titus is dead. Clarke and Lexa talk, Jaha talks to the people and starts to form his plan and the others settle into the village.
