Chapter 10: The Death and Tears of a Father

6/6 at the hut outside the forest of Sakurami City

Keigo goes to see Minene and bows down before the terrorist, who has a gun pointed at him. "What are you trying to pull?"

"Believe it or not, I came here to make a deal with you."

"What do you have in mind."

Keigo lifts his head. "I've offered to call the uniforms off of you for the future. Also, I can give you the latest information we have."

Minene wasn't buying this. "Won't your peanut gallery get mad if they find out I'm involved? Don't you have Bonnie and Clyde and their little friends?"

"Because my back is against the wall!" Keigo replied startling the terrorist. "I trust Yuki and Yuno along with their new friends because they have no intention of winning but a bunch of rowdy kids like them won't do squat against a nudity bitch like sixth and top of that, the unknown attack at Tsukishima Mansion is still being questioned." He gave the terrorist woman a serious look. "I will help you in return I have a request."

At the Fairy Tail's rental apartment

Hibiki talked through the lacrima explaining what he learned about Keigo's history. "That's it..."

Sting gritted his teeth. "To think that old man didn't even try to inform us of this."

Rogue clenched his hands. "I knew the old man was a sneaky bastard but, he couldn't just try to tell us about what happened with his family."

"According to Tsubaki's Diary, it informed us of someone going to frame someone and that person is Keigo. He plans to frame Yuki and Yuno for Hinata's father's death." Wendy added.

Yukino had an idea. "Couldn't we ask Hinata to help us in this, she was there to see Yuki and Yuno with us when her father was attacked,"

"We tried to call the hospital, but, the doctors said she was unavailable at the moment," Chelia answered. "It's obvious that Keigo is making sure that nobody will see her so his plan doesn't have a hole in it."

"According to her son's condition, he's ill and will likely die," Hibiki said using his magic. "He said that he has no intention of using God's power, however, since his son's condition has been revealed by the doctors. He'll do what he has to to get his son better."

"What about Tsubaki, we need to get her before Keigo can get his hands on her." Yukino reminded.

"I called Akise, he'll get us to sneak to protect her until once we manage to sneak it or lure the officers away," Wendy answered.

"Either way, some of us should try to find more," Gajeel suggested. "However, we can't go there together because if they spot us, Keigo will send more of his troops to intercept us."

Chelsea had an idea. "That's true, so, I suggest a stealth approach, Akame, you'll be with me, we'll help Yuki and Yuno when the time is right." Akame nodded.

Sting had an idea too. "Alright, then here's the plan, Yukino, you will take Hibiki, Wendy, Carla, Kagura, Jenny, and Minerva with you. You will park outside the station, but a little far away so they don't stop you. Hibiki, will you use your Telepathy to link to Yuki and Yuno including the others too only as private telepathy." The five nodded. "Gajeel, you, Lily, Leone, Levy, you guys will be nearby, I'll give the location to you later. As for me, I'll have the others come with me the observatory on the hill where we can hide for the time being."

Gajeel nodded. "Alright, we have our plans, let's go!"

20:02 At unnamed location in Sakurami City

Yukiteru was on his way home thinking about what Akise, Akame, and Green told him.

"I can see loneliness in her eyes. In other words, she has probably been all alone for who knows how long and it must've distorted her mind."

"Yuno seems nervous and distrustful toward others. For what reason, something in her childhood must've made her act like that."

"Without you, Yukiteru, she would break. To put it simply, you're a stable influencer on her. She needs you."

"Even if they are partly right. Where does that leave me, I mean I care for Yuno...but..." He then stopped walking and took out the photo of her and him. "Yuno...what is going through your mind? Could it be that something terrible happened to you in the past without me knowing about it that made it this way? Yet, if I make one wrong move she'll snap." He began to think about Wendy and the other friends he made before he went to the new school. "Gajeel, Sting, Wendy, Carla, Chelia, Yukino...everyone, could you give me more advice on how to deal with Yuno's condition?"

Just then he heard footsteps and found himself surrounded by several police officers. "Excuse me, sorry about this sudden approach, but we need to take you downtown for questioning."

Yukiteru entered the station with Nishijima and several officers.

Yukino's vehicle was parked across the street by a store. "Looks like they arrived."

Hibiki put his finger to his head. "Akame, Chelsea, you're on."

"Right!" Akame turned herself into a shadow and went inside the ground.

Chelsea turned into a tiny fly and flew toward the entrance doors and got inside just as the last office entered. "Got it, I'd better follow them quietly."

In the interrogation room, Keigo was waiting there looking at his Diary.

Nishijima opened the door. "We got the kids, they're ready for questioning."

"I figured...bring Yuki first and all by himself," Keigo replied not looking at the other inspector, who nodded and closed the door.

In the hallway, Yuki and Yuno were sitting on a bench with a few officers guarding the area.

"What is going on here?" Yuki asked quietly.

"It's obvious that we're under investigation," Yuno presumed as an officer standing nearby overheard her.

This made Yuki feel uneasy and scared as his body trembled. "Gajeel, Wendy, Yukino, Chelia...everyone, where are you?" He then felt Yuno's hand gently placed on his. "It's okay, we'll be fine as long as we protect our Diaries at all costs." She then stood up. "First thing is first, we find a weapon."

Yuki was puzzled until he saw the look in her eyes. "Oh no, she's going into psycho mode. If she finds a weapon things could get more ugly." Akame was peeking behind from the wall above. "Looks like Yuno is going berserk."

Nishijima approached the two teenagers. "Yuki, you're up first so follow me." Before Yuno could make a move, Yuki put his hands on her shoulders with an assuring look on his face. "Listen, it's fine, Kusuru is a man of his word and he pulls through for us. Let me talk to him and we can make it out of this without violence." Yuno's eyes went normal as she nodded her head.

Yuki was escorted down the hallway with Nishijima as Akame followed them quietly within the wall in her shadow form before she took one last glance at the stalker. "Yuno...please don't do anything too rash."

Chelsea was hiding on the wall in her fly form. "Geez, better keep an eye on this girl." She knew she had to distract her so the officers nearby wouldn't get hurt.

In the interrogation room, Kurusu was cleaning a revolver with some cleaning spray and rag as the two came inside. "Yukiteru...well, sit down."

"Y-yes, sir," The wimpy teenager sat down across the table, he noticed the chief had a gun wondering what it was for.

"Tell me, did you know about 10th's death, his mansion was a total mess. His dogs' bodies were rotting and decay including himself." Yuki gasped in horror. "Does it have something to do with the actual killer?"

Noticing the reaction on the First Holder's face, Kurusu continued. "Honestly, that investigation is still ongoing. Right now, we can't think of anything that would cause such a mess. The reporters are getting more suspicious and keep asking questions. However, I managed to make a cover-up."

"Before you tell me, what will happen Tsubaki?" Yuki asked.

"Well, I thought about it, but, she'll have to go," Keigo said with a darkened look.

This shocked Yukiteru to his core. "To it simply, she's a Holder as well, and she has an accomplice that is you." Yukiteru was getting a sick feeling in his stomach. "W-what...are you saying?"

"Tell me, have you played a little game called Russian Roulette?" He loaded one of the gun slots and pointed it at the boy's head.

Yuno felt her cell phone vibrate and saw the entry read "Yuki has a gun pointed at him by the fourth. It's a Russian Roulette! Yuki is in trouble! His bravery is keeping him from screaming. I have to help Yuki" She knew she couldn't keep waiting so she had to make a move.

Chelsea took a quick peek at the girl's Diary and gasped. "Uh oh...I must create a diversion." She flew around the left corner and a further way to the hallway just as Yuno was holding a figure extinguisher. "Hello boys!" Chelsea waved surprising Yuno.

"Hey!" An officer yelled.

Nishijima was surprised. "Chelsea...how did you get here?!" The former assassin didn't waste any time and ran.

Yuno looked at her phone. "Use Chelsea's distraction to rescue Yuki" She then smiled a little. "I guess I owe her." She went to find Yuki.

Back at the interrogation room.

"Listen, we have Future Diaries, remember?" Kurusu pointed the gun at his head making a click. "Your indiscriminate Diary is the name. If you got free inside the station. I could predict the whole incident with my Investigation Diary."

Then the chief pointed a gun back at the teenage boy. "Honestly, if I did kill you now, I would be arrested." Another click sound was heard but no bullets came out. "I see I won't be killing you yet...the problem is, you and your new friends aren't bad people."

"Speaking of where are Gajeel and the others?" Yuki asked curiously despite his shaking.

"They're away at the time," Kurusu replied pointing the gun at his ally once more. "Well, out of the 4 out of the shots have missed, that means it'll be your turn next."

This horrified Yuki realizing what Kurusu was planning to do all this time. "Kurusu, this is a joke, right?" A slight remorseful look was shown on his face but Yuki didn't notice due to his fear. "Sadly, no...honestly, I did consider you and your new friends good allies. Now the plans have changed...I decided to become a-" Suddenly a dark shadow mass of binds wrapped around Kurusu's body.

Yuki jumped from his seat. "What the hell?" Kurusu tried to struggle to form the black binds. "Damn, where did this shit come from?"

"Sorry, but, I won't let you kill my friend," Akame emerged from the floor. Yukiteru was surprised to see Akame. "Akame...how did you get inside?"

Nishijima was not expecting this. "Damn it, I guess I should've had some more officers around the police."

Bang

Yuno was barraged into the room and was about to shoot when she saw Akame. "Akame...how did you..."

"Never mind that, get Yuki and run to the roof, I'll catch up later!" Akame interrupted the stalker girl.

Yuno was still stunned to see Akame and figured she and Chelsea weren't the only ones around. "Right..." She took hold of Yuki's hand and ran for the hallway to the roof.

"Damn it, this puts a hole in my plan!" He still had the resolver and shot down at the ground.

"What was that a gunshot!?" An officer asked.

"It came from the interrogation room!" Nishijima concluded.

"What about that Chelsea?" Another officer asked.

"Never mind that, find the chief!" Nishijima ordered the other officers.

Akame knew she had to move quickly. Releasing the chief, she punched the man in the stomach stunning him so much that he held his stomach while laying on his side.

"Time for me to move..." Akame sank to the floor and disappeared into her shadow.

"That little bitch can pack a punch," Keigo groaned as he felt the pain go away slowly and he got on all fours.

Nishijima and a few officers arrived. "Chief, we heard the gunshot, what happened?"

"Just unexpected guests..."

"We know, we ran into that Chelsea girl, she was diversion..."

"Where is she now?" The chief asked.

"She got...away...sorry chief."

"Never mind, Yuki and Yuno went to the roof to capture them alive or dead!" The chief ordered.

Fortunately, Yuno and Yuki were already on the roof standing on the edge. "Yuno, I...I...I didn't think Akame and Chelsea were here..." He sobbed with tears down his cheeks. "Honestly, they saved us...that means a lot to me..."

Yuno hated to admit it, but her crush was right. "Y-yeah...I guess so." Yukiteru then looked at her. "Yuno...I'm sorry that I didn't try harder to keep you under control." Yuno smiled sweetly at the boy and kissed him on the lips the boy returned the kiss closing his eyes.

"Yuki..." Hibiki's voice called.

"Hibiki...how are you here?" Yuki asked.

"It's not just me..."

"Hey Yuki, Yuno!" Wendy and Chelia's voices were heard.

"Wendy! Chelia!"

"Forget about us, did you?" Kagura asked.

"Honestly, that's a harsh," Minerva giggled.

"Hey, nobody frames our friends," Leone chuckled cracking her knuckles.

"Don't worry, we have an idea about this setup!" Yukino's voice was heard next. "For now, go and lay low for a while, we'll talk to you later."

"Right..." Yuki and Yuno jumped off the roof as Nishijima arrived surprised at what the two teenagers did. He looked down where they fell and saw a truck with a huge blanket that the two used to soften their landing. "They got away..."

The next day

6/13 17:05 Streets of Sakurami City

At a shop was the news channel on.

"Two young teenagers suspected of killing Tsuhikshima, the dog owner managed to flee the Sakurami Police Station. They're still at large. They also have two accomplices." Two pictures of Chelsea and Akame were shown on the screen. "If anyone sees the prime suspects and their accomplices. Contact the police and don't approach them."

Meanwhile at the police station.

Keigo was at his desk. "To think those bratty girls were sneaky ones. They're almost like assassins."

F

Deus and Keigo were having a conversation a week ago. "So, you're saying those brats are not from the city, right?"

"Yes, I could suspect after seeing how much talent they have including the powers they wield not from the Diaries, but within themselves."

"I suppose I could use this to expose them...no, that wouldn't only cause further attention and likely Yuno would have Yuki leave the city with her letting my chance of being God go through my fingers." Keigo thought looking frustrated. "Speaking of, officer, is Tsubaki still around?"

"Uhh...that's the strange thing, she went missing," Kurusu stood from his chair. "What, how did that happen?"

"We had all officers chase after Chelsea and then...well, Akise arrived but he went to chat with Tsubaki then he didn't come out of the cell area."

Keigo gritted his teeth. "Damn, so, sixth had left. Did Gajeel and his pals plan on this before then?" He slammed his fist on the desk. "Damn it, if they expose my plans to the public somehow, I'll be dead!"

Nishijima and his men were scouting the city, but, had no luck in finding Yuno and Yuki. "Damn it. I wonder where those kids could've gotten off to." He then looked at an officer. "Officer, did you guys go to our friend's apartment?"

"Yes, sir, but they weren't there, they must've retreated.

"Their stuff was there, but, it's obvious they knew we would arrive there."

Nishijima groaned. "Those guys might be muscleheads but they're smarter than I thought."

At the hospital, there was a shed next to a parking lot.

Yuki and Yuno were hiding inside. "How are you holding up?" Yuki asked.

Yuno turned with a smile. "I'm fine, just some bruises. Honestly, I didn't think Akame and Chelsea would show up."

Yuki had to admit he was sort of thinking the same thing. "Yet, they did, they must have an idea of what's going on and why Kurusu sold us out like that." It was a day since he heard from them, he could only hope they were okay somewhere safe.

Growl

"Crap, I'm so hungry..." Yuki pouted.

"Try to bear with it for a little longer..." Yuno said calmly as she looked down at her and Yuki's Diary. "On June 14th is going to be our Dead End. We'll be killed by the 4th Holder."

Yuki's stomach didn't stop growling though, Yuno ignored it. "The good news is, if the Holder changes their tactics to a waiting game then we'll be safe here." Yuno flinched a bit as she stood up. "Oh, be right back, I have to..." Yuki was puzzled when he saw her crotching down realizing what she was going to do. He quickly reverted his face away blushing red. "Crap..."

After Yuno was finished, she rejoined her crush. "Anyway, we'll be fine like I said..." She then noticed Yuki drawing a circle. "Donut..." His stalker was puzzled when he said that. "My dad would make homemade donuts."

Yuno had to admit she was curious about his parent's divorce. "Why exactly did your parents split up, not that you have to answer me." Yuki didn't look at his stalker but gave her an answer. "I'm not sure why the hell they did so likely adults." He put his head on his legs. "Keigo Kurusu for example...one minute is our friend, then this... though, I'm glad that Hibiki and the others are still our friends."

Yuno smiled a little. "Yeah..."

Yuki lifts his head. "What is that smell?" Yuno's face went red with embarrassment. "I'm sorry..."

"No, I mean I smell...donuts..." Yuki looked out the window and saw a woman that looked familiar. "Kurusu's wife."

"Yuno...Yuki...are you both there?" Ace's voice rang out in their heads.

"Ace..." Yuki was so happy that tears fell down his cheeks. "Is everyone here!?"

"You bet..." Everyone's voice was heard.

"Yeah, for now, we're in different areas around the hospital that's outside," Hibiki informed. "Anyway, you saw the woman that went inside there."

"Yeah, she's Kurusu's wife," Yuki confirmed.

"That's correct, also, there's something you should know. What we found about Kurusu's family." Tsubaki's voice was heard.

"Tsubaki...you're alright!" Yuki cried with relief.

"C'mon, save the mushy reunion for later, we need to tell you about Kusuru's reasons." Gajeel interrupted. "Also, we have an idea that'll get him to confess his crime."

A short time later

Yuki and Yuno were sneaking into the hospital hallway while watching Kurusu's wife walking with a box of donuts. "Looks like she's here to see him."

"Yeah..."

They carefully followed through the hallway, Yuno in the front until she felt something wrong and her Diary vibrated. "Yuki look out!"

Kaboom

A bomb was set off behind Yuno, who jumped out of the way lying on the floor. "Perfect timing that you were able to take cover." Ninth was having her right arm wrapped around Yuki's neck. "To think I'd be able to see you brats again."

"Ninth...why are you here?" Yuki asked.

Minene didn't answer instead she just smirked. "How about I blow your little girlfriend?" Yuki moved his hand on the terrorist's laptop pressing a button and the bomb went off behind the two leaving the two stranded.

Yuno looked around for something to use as a bridge. "Dumbass, you almost blew us up!" Minene yelled still having her arm wrapped around the boy's neck. "Use this!" Yuno pushed a ladder on the other side of the hole that was in front of her almost landing on the two. "Watch where you're dropping!"

Back at the police station.

"Chief, there's been an explosion at the Sakurami Hospital!" An employee stated while holding a phone.

"Of all the places, why'd they have to be there?" Keigo grumbled in question putting on his jacket.

Outside in two unnamed locations.

Gajeel's group was hiding in an alley while

"Sounds like a bomb went off, two of them judging from the explosions," Gajeel said.

"Why is she here for?" Levy asked. "Can Tsubaki find that out?"

"Unfortunately, no, her Diary only allows followers actions and whereabouts if they're nearby," Lily confirmed.

Akame and Chelsea were hiding on the roof of a building above where Gajeel's group was.

"Looks like some bombs went off."

"It must bet that bomb terrorist skank."

Hibiki's group was still in the vehicle and parked on the street a little far away.

"Crap, a bomb!" Jenny exclaimed.

"Looks like the old man got some aid from the bomb woman," Hibiki guessed. "I'd better keep my telepathic link on Yuki and Yuno."

"Shall we get Wendy inside before the cops arrive?" Minerva asked.

Kagura thought that was too risky. "No, it would be too risky and if we fight them it'll only get them to draw their guns at us,"

"We could create another diversion, but it'll have to be a good one that could distract them all at once," Chelsea suggested.

"We better think of now and quick," Akame said getting up. "For now, I'll use my Diary's power to give me to see what is going on."

Green put his hand on his girlfriend's shoulder. "Akame, good luck." He said with a tender look, Akame turned to her man's look.

B

Yukiteru was beginning to cross the ladder until Ninth grabbed his leg. "Nice try, if you think you and your girlfriend are going to leave me stranded here you got one thing coming."

"I won't let it fall," Yuno assured with an innocent look on her face. That wasn't assuring enough, so Minene decided to take the first move. "Well, I'll go first..."

"Stop...I know you'll try something sneaky..." Yuki accused.

Hearing the accusation made the Ninth groan. "Tsk...I won't try anything you have my word!" Yuki wasn't convinced. "Yeah, right, you merely got my last classmates blown to hell like last time!"

"Speaking of, I heard you got some new friends, such a pity they aren't here to save your ass," Minene teased. "Either way, I can give you some details on why your police cop friend sold you out."

Before they could answer that, Minene felt her phone vibrate and crawl off Yuki's back. "Crap...at a bad time..." She put the phone to her ear in a kneeling position. "What is it?"

"It's Kursuru...nice try, but, I know what you're up to. You remember I have a Diary that keeps track of your actions."

Minene felt utterly frustrated. "Damn...it...I'm buying you time, dumbass."

This freaked out Yuki. "Nice try is right, you'll betray me afterward!" He attempted to crawl over the ladder until Minene wrapped her arm around her neck. "Stop it, I told you that I'd tell you about Fourth's betrayal!"

"Yeah, you'll blow me and Yuno up and go after my other friends!" Yuki whined comically.

Ace was able to hear Yuki's whining and his eyes were hidden by his hat. "Damn...it..."

"Knock it off, I'll help you and your friends..."

"Don't do it, Ninth, you try it and I'll have your ass on a platter!"

"Yuki, don't worry, I'll be your ally forever!"

"Yuno will you stop like you're on a babysitting gig!"

"Darling, I'd never betray you!"

"How will I choose at a time like this when things are going haywire!"

Ace was getting annoyed by this nonsense. "Stop whining you dumbass!" This abruptly stopped Yuki's shouting. "Listen, just go with Minene, it's obvious she knows of what we told you about the old man's betrayal!"

Hibiki's voice was heard next. "He's right, we must get inside the recovery room where Kurusu's kid is. If we can convince her to cooperate, she can open the back door to the hospital and Wendy can get inside to use her Healing magic to cure Kurusu's son. Though, don't let Minene know that yet, if she starts asking questions, then Kurusu might catch on and think we'll betray him."

Before Yuki could get a word in, Minene roared out. "FUCK YOU!" She hung up on the chief. "That felt better...let's go to that room."

Later, they entered in room 413. Akame saw the number. "So, room 413." She vanished into the floor.

Minene showed Kusuru's son who was lying in bed with an oxygen mask on him. "You see this, according to the doctors his condition wasn't detected until a month ago. He's got about three months to live so Kurusu changed his mind to become a God."

Yuki and Yuno weren't too surprised, but they acted like it. "So, that's the reason."

"How did you find out?"

"He confronted me about to make a deal that he would burn my crimes but of course, that's off the table," Minene said taking some donuts that Kurusu's wife bought.

Hibiki and Ace were surprised. "To think this chick would go far to help the chief."

"Yes, I wonder if the terrorist lady has a soft side."

"What do you have in mind?" Yuno asked.

"Our best chance is to team up and use his family as hostages," Minene continued shocking Ace, Yuki, and Hibiki. "Anyway, you must be hungry, so eat these."

Yuno took a donut but Yuki didn't as he was feeling a bit understandable even more than he did. "Hibiki...Ace...are you hearing this?"

"Yes, I know this sounds extreme, but, go along for now. Get Minene out of the room for a while only for five minutes to distract her while you're doing that, Akame will talk with Kusuru's wife."

Yuki knew this was a long shot, but he reluctantly agreed. "Alright, but, Minene, I could chat with you and Yuno in the hallway for a while."

"For what?" Minene asked suspiciously.

"I just need to know what else you have in mind if the cops were to get inside," Yuki replied trying to look a bit serious.

Minene didn't understand why the boy wasn't hesitating like he was before but there wasn't much time for questioning. "Fine..." Minene left the room as Yuki glanced at Yuno and gestured to her to follow him.

Akame returned in her shadow form and got inside the room the moment they exited.

Ms. Kurusu felt utterly afraid. "Yuki...Yuno..."

Akame carefully emerged in front of the Keigo's wife surprising her that she almost let out a scream. Moving quickly, Akame placed her left hand over the woman's mouth and hugged her as quietly as she could. "Hush...it's me, Akame, the day we met at the wedding center." The woman recognized Akame. "I'm not here to harm you or your son. I'm here to help him, rather, I know someone that helps your son's condition."

Ms. Kurusu was surprised as she felt a glimmer of hope light in her eyes. "Wait...how can you help my son? His condition is so bad that the doctors can't possibly treat him." Akame gave her a serious look. "I know we just met a day ago, but, I can assure you that my friend Wendy can use her power to cure your son's condition. Honestly, I don't like what Minene is going to do by taking you and your son hostage."

Ms. Kurusu felt a little unsure about this, but, if she could get her son better somehow then perhaps things will settle down. "Alright, but, do you need anything else from me?"

"Yes, do you know of a way that my friend can get inside without using the front entrance?" Akame asked.

Shortly after, Akame was outside on the hospital's roof. Hearing sirens from the distance. "Looks like they're arriving, I got to make my move." She took out her cell phone calling Wendy. "Wendy, this is Akame, are you there?"

"Yes, did you find out how I can get inside?" The sky dragon slayer replied.

"Yes, but, you need to avoid getting seen, so, here's the plan and listen well," Akame assured.

Later at night

Yuki was given a grenade and some ammo by Yuno. "I'm surprised that you're not hesitating, what has changed your mind?"

"None of your business..." Yuki remarked coldly.

"Whoa, you might grown some balls there," Minene commented with a wide grin.

Yuno glared at the terrorist lady which the Ninth Holder noticed. "Hey, just teasing the brat." Yuki walked out to the hallway but he looked back at Yuno one last time. "Hey Yuno, if we make it out alive, I'd...like to take you somewhere special, if that's okay?"

Yuno smiled. "Sure thing."

Outside the parking lot, Keigo was set up under a tent. "Figures this would happen...bitch..." He grumbled.

"Hey chief, the squad team is off the truck," Nishijima reported.

"Tell them to get their asses inside," Keigo ordered stunning the inspector. "Uhh...chief...there's patients in there including your son."

"Just do it..." The chief demanded impatiently.

Chelsea was in her bird form and flew away.

Yukino was hiding behind a squad vehicle and was approached by Chelsea. "Looks like the chief isn't going to wait long, he wants to get the squad team inside quicker than we expected." The celestial wizard gasped as she connected through Hibiki's telepathic. "Hibiki, you hear that?"

"Yes, distract those jerks using your Celestial Spirit, one that can scare them, but, don't attack,"

"Right!" Yukino took out the Zodiac key with a snake. "Open, Gate of the Snake Charmer! Ophiuchus!" A giant magic circle appeared above the hospital.

Keigo and the squad saw this. "What the hell is that up there?"

Out of the spell circle was a humongous snake-like creature descending upon it. The snark hissed viciously at the squad team.

"Is that a snake!?"

"Chief, are you seeing this?"

Nishijima couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Damn it, where'd that beast come from?"

Keigo then got a call. "Chief, do you want to hear my demands?" Minene asked.

"Sure...how about explaining the giant snake that you just summoned out!" Keigo demanded looking a bit confused and scared

"Giant snake...what are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb, you didn't tell me that your Escape Diary can summon illusions to scare us!"

"Hey, I don't know what the hell are you spitting out! Though, I can assure you that I don't have the power to summon a giant reptile!"

Chelsea saw this plan was working as she took out her Imperial Arms. "Now the chance to disguise myself." She disguised herself as Inspector Nishijima. "Men, Keigo wants you back to fight the snake before it can attack the hospital, that's an order!"

"Sir!"

The men at the entrance left the area. "Good, Wendy, you're on and get inside quickly."

Wendy was being carried by Carla. "Carla, Max Speed!"

"Right!"

Akame was in the waiting room waiting for the sky dragon slayer. "Follow me!" They came to the hallway where Yuki was waiting for them. "Hey, guys over here!"

Minene was too busy arguing with the chief

"Yuno, Wendy, and Carla are outside the hallway, you can let them go," Hibiki's voice said inside Yuno's mind.

"That's...good."

Wendy opened the door and came to the chief's son. Minene noticed the girl and hung up on the chief. "Hey girl, how did you get here?" Ignoring the terrorist's question, Wendy walked toward Ms. Kurusu's son. "So, this is your son, ma'am." She asked as she gently took off the blankets checking his body's condition. "Wow, he looks like he hasn't eaten in weeks."

"Yes...my son was always a healthy boy but this had to happen. If only we had him checked out sooner, then this wouldn't have happened." Ms. Kurusu sobbed. "Do you think you can help my boy?"

Wendy glanced at the mother smiling confidently. "Yes...I believe I can." She put her hands out on the body's chest as her hands glowed a green light. Ms. Kurusu watched in awe of what she was seeing. "Please...pray my son will be fine."

Wendy's hands glowed brighter and her son gasped for air and breathed heavily. That was Wendy's cue to stop. The boy sat up while still breathing as deeply as he could. Ms. Kurusu instantly went to her son's side. "Dear, are you alright now?"

The boy continued to breathe deeply and felt completely deeply. "I-I'm...fine. Mommy, I'm fine...I don't feel any pain...I can breathe better." Tears of joy fell through Ms. Kurusu's eyes as her son felt tears in his eyes too. "My boy...you're cured!" The two embraced as they cried

Yuno was astonished. "She...cured him...how is...this possible?" Minene couldn't believe what she was seeing. "This little brat cured Kurusu's son...is this for real?"

Yukiteru was happy to see such a scene as he was about to cry too but he had to get a hold of the chief so he took out his cell phone. "Kurusu...this is Yukiteru Amano!"

"Huh, what are you calling me, you punk!?"

"Your son is cured..." Keigo gasped. "Cured, are you pulling my leg, the doctors told me about my son's condition, there's no way he's cured."

"Your friend is telling the truth..." Keigo was surprised to hear his wife's voice.

"Father...I'm cured...I can breathe better...this girl Wendy saved me..."

Keigo was stunned and lost for words as he was speechless. Wendy knew it was time to call Hibiki. "Hibiki, we're done here, have Yukino call of her spirit!"

"Right!"

Nishijima and the others were stunned when the snake suddenly vanished away. "Where'd the snake go?!" The Inspector asked.

"Chief...what's wrong?" An officer asked getting the other's attention including Nishijima.

Keigo's eyes were filled with tears, but not from sadness from relief and joy. "My son...is cured." Tears dripped on the table. "I can't believe it."

"Is the chief crying?"

"I never thought of seeing him cry."

"He looks happy."

Nishijima approached the chief. "Chief...are you okay?" The chief recollected himself. "Yeah...I'm fine now. Men call off this raid."

Nishjima and the squad were surprised to hear that. "Chief..."

"I gave you an order, fall back!" Keigo ordered. "Expect you, Nishijima." The inspector didn't know what was with the chief but did what he was told.

Before the squad team could do what they were ordered.

Leone felt a strong dangerous presence. "Oh no...something is coming!"

Out of nowhere, Puppetina appeared out of nowhere behind the chief and threw her puppet-like humanoid-like arm which went straight to the chief's chest ripping his heart out.

"Chief Keigo!" Nishijima screamed as he and the squad men were in shock at what just happened.

"How touching that the chief can cry." The demon chuckled in a sinister but mocking tone. "Time for me to take your life force."

The chief knelt as he coughed out blood. "Inspector...Nishijima...listen...record this message for the public..." He held out his phone and recorded his confession in Nishijima's phone.

"I see...what about Minene?" Nishijima asked.

"She can go for now, but, please take care of my son and wife...tell Yukiteru and Yuno along with their friends that I said...thank you..." Keigo's eyes closed as he passed away with a peaceful expression.

Yuki's POV

"Mr. Nishijima took care of the dirty work afterward. He gave the recorded confession from his phone to the public. The enemy that killed Kurusu was covered as a man wearing a clown-like outfit and disappeared. Kurusu's family made preparations for his funeral. Wendy, Carla, and the rest of us including myself were inviting them to pay our respects." He continued to watch the news. "Honestly, the enemy is still a mystery. Mr. Hishijima was put in charge as Chief and invited Gajeel along with his team and some others to join in. Gajeel's team agreed to it. Tsubaki moved in with their rental apartment. Minene was able to escape due to the chaos." He then looked at the clock. "Crap, I'm going to be late!"

At the Sakurami Police station.

Gajeel, Levy, Lily, Hibiki, Jenny, Akame, and Chelsea were talking with the inspector.

Akise pulled Gajeel aside and had a private chat with him about something serious. "Kid, are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm not sure why, but, the police are investigating Yuno for some reason. I'm not sure what but if I have to guess it's probably of whatever was in that room." Akise whispered looking troubled. "Do you know where Yuki is now at the moment?"

Gajeel had his arms crossed. "I heard the brat was taking Yuno somewhere special, at least, that's what I heard." Akise had a look of concern this time. "Thank you, I need to go." He then opened the door and saw Tsubaki behind there. "Tsubaki!"

"Hey, why are you here?" Gajeel asked a little surprised.

Tsubaki ignored the question and looked at the white-haired detective boy. "I came here to see you." She smiled tenderly as the young detective gulped slightly. "Sorry, but, I got some business to take care of, I'll talk to you later."

Somewhere in an unnamed street.

Yuki met up with Yuno. They walked down chatting. "What should we do from here, Yuki?"

"Well, remember the place I told you about, well, first we'll go to my dad's place first and borrow a telescope then climb to a higher place after that."

Yuno had a pretty good idea what her crush was talking about and walked ahead as she turned around. "I-I'm happy if the best happy end of my life exists, I can hardly wait to do it."

"No pressure, right?" Yuki walked forward. "Either way, I look forward to showing you the stars. Also, if it's not a problem when we return, we can hang out with others for a party." Yuno just stared at him for a moment and smiled. "S-sure...thing." The moment that her crush stood in front of her she closed her eyes. Yuki got the idea and leaned in forward and kissed her lips.

The kiss lasted for a few seconds until Yuki pulled away. Yuno giggled. "Wow, someone has been practicing with their pillow at night."

"Don't make fun of me, Yuno," Yuki groaned a little embarrassed.

They soon arrived at the train station.

Yuki tried to call his father, but he got only a voicemail. "Man, my dad must be home at the moment." He was about to hang up until he got a message from Akise. Before he could look at it, his phone was snatched away by Yuno. "C'mon, the last one on the train has to massage the loser's feet!"

"Wait up, Yuno!" Yuki chased after her.

Akise returned home later in his room looking hesitant about the message he sent. "Was it okay to send to the message to him this quickly?"

Later the train station, Yuki decided to make a pit stop since the train didn't arrive. Yuno nodded and the moment the boy left she looked at the message he got and read it. "Akise...do I know this person?" She read the message closely which read "Stay away from Gasai. The police are searching for her for unknown reasons but can't find her. Be careful" She deleted the message just as Yuki returned with two drinks.

"Someone calls me?"

"No, it was spam but I got rid of it." Yuno lied.

The two got on the train. Yuki was curious about the large bag that Yuno had in her arms. "That's a big bag to carry for a side trip."

"Yeah, just some stuff in case we stay there for a while. Food, drinks, and clothes." Unknownst to Yuki, there was more than that in her bag.

Sitting nearby was Draco in human form. "Hmm...quite the species she is...too bad, Yuki won't be able to get a taste of her cute body." He put his finger to his head. "Sklade...Torafuzar...the plan is in motion, I'll be there with one of the Holders."

In an abandon town, the two demons were lurking around.

"One, I thought we needed two," Torafuzar said.

"Need, both, humans..." Sklade reminded.

"We can deal with the one for now," Draco replied. "I'm talking about Yuno." He licked his lips.

Kusuru frames Yukieru and Yuno for a crime they didn't commit so he can win the game and become God to save his son. He allied with Minene, but she later turned against him. However, Fairy Tail decided to help and clear their friend's names including Keigo's son. Wendy used her healing magic to cure Keigo's son. After a heartwarming talk, Keigo is seen crying with tears of joy until he is fatally attacked by the demon of Tartaros. Keigo confessed his crime of framing Yukiteru and Yuno. The two are free and decide to leave on their trip to stargaze. Akise informs Gajeel about something important and texts Yuki a message which is read by Yuno and deleted. As they ride on the train for their trip, they are followed by the demon Draco who has plans for Yuno and has assistance from Torafuzar and Sklade. The question is, what will happen next, find out next time.
