Mona was lying in bed, she was about to enter her last year in high school. She discovered Mugman was entering his junior year of high school in the fall.
"Hmmm…I wonder what college will be like." Mona says. "My parents are never around."
She was holding her pets and thinking. "Mugman has been through a lot. I just hope we don't have to face off in a cheerleading competition." Mona says.
She then thought about how Shane went on tour, something she wished she could do, but due to her parents never being around, she had to do lots of part time jobs. She simply didn't have the time.
Meanwhile, Emma woke up on her birthday. "I'm 6!" Emma giggled.
"Yes, you are!" Skylia says.
"Happy birthday." Brandy and Randy say as Emma smiles. She knew the Foxes weren't going to be there due to their tour.
"Emma needs to go! Emma needs to start cheer practice if she's to help cheer Pam on in ANH!" Emma says
"I don't think she'd need your support." Randy says.
"I don't think you know how to cheer." Brandy says, unsure if Emma was even fit.
"I have a very, very high metabolism." Emma says.
"Boys, stop discouraging her. I think she'll be a great cheerleader." Skylia says.
"So that explains it." Randy says. "I'm not entering, though. I'm really not interested anyway."
"So can I quit?" Brandy asked as Colleen entered the house. Brandy hid behind Randy as Randy crossed his arms.
"Hey, Brandy, we need to get ready cause ANH starts in the fall, like in late September or October, and I plan on winning." Colleen says.
"He hates you." Randy says. "I heard what happened at the Final Fling. And I think you're forcing him to date you when it's clear that he isn't into romance!"
Colleen leaves the house, annoyed. But she knew that if she tried anything with Garrett, she'd have to answer to Charity and Forest.
Later, Emma was walking to a cheer gym with Skylia
"Oh, hi!" Cuphead says as the cups, Luke, Shane, Remy, and Garrett were there.
"Emma wants to be a better cheerleader for Pam!" Emma says.
"You wanna spend your birthday learning to cheer?" Remy asked
"Luke Flynn, if you make a snide remark, I will ground you for the rest of the summer." Charity warned him.
"She can't enter" Chalice says.
"Yeah, we're just signing up for the school cheer camp. the place is closed until cheer camp. That's all we're doing" Cuphead says
"Chalice, Cuphead…." Elder Kettle says sternly.
Emma sees a sign, seeing there were no coaches. Apparently, Luke and the others were allowed to train themselves until cheer camp because, let's be honest, the coaches needed a break. But Shane took pity on Emma.
"Guys, maybe we should let her join us for just one practice. You guys are being awfully rude to a little girl." Shane says.
"Oliver's stepsister to be frank." Mugman says, not pleased with their behavior toward Emma.
"Fine, we'll teach Emma." Luke says.
"But let me say this. If you so much as act cruel towards Emma or make a snide remark about her, any of you, I will not hesitate to call the Oakley Academy high school cheer coach myself and have your positions up for an open tryout!" Charity shouted. They nod fearfully.
Later, Mona came in. "Hey, guys! Oh, hey, you sweetie pie…" Mona says to Mugman, who was taking off his Golden Knights mascot costume.
"Mona, my love!" Mugman says.
Mona noticed Emma. "Awww, you look adorable!" Mona says to her. "Are you guys teaching her? That's so cute!"
Emma fell over for the 30th time. But Shane was being very patient and encouraging. Luke was benched by Charity for making a snide remark.
Emma sniffed, feeling like she wasn't part of her family. Shane held her and reassured her.
"I dragged my siblings on adventures! I don't deserve to do this!" Emma sobbed running off as Mona gasped.
"Was it something I did?" Shane asked, confused.
"Luke Flynn…Garrett Samuel…" Charity says.
"Is this because of your beef with Randy?" Forest asked.
"Okay, yes." Garrett confesses.
"You two apologize to Skylia immediately, then we are going home! You two are in big trouble." Charity says, livid. Luke and Garrett begrudgingly apologized to Skylia, then left with Charity and Forest.
"Remington, you apologize as well. Then you're going home to do your chores." Victoria said sternly.
"Fine, I'm sorry, Mrs. Waterlash." Remy says.
"Now let's go. There are some toilets that need scrubbing and dishes that need washing." Victoria says to Remy as she soon leaves with him.
Later, the Foxes were heading to the gym to sign up for the school cheer camp since their tour ended before it started, which was going to be after Shane's half birthday. They saw Skylia and Shane feeding Emma ice cream as Mona and Mugman took pity on her.
"Hey, Shane." Oliver says. "What happened to my stepsister?"
"Emma…" Pam says as Emma ran to Pam, sobbing. Pam held her.
"Emma wanted to be your cheerleader and was teased for it by Luke, Garrett, and Remy. Needless to say, the three of them are in big trouble for it." Shane says.
"On her birthday of all days…" Pam says, still holding Emma.
At the manor, Charity had finally had it with Luke's attitude toward the Waterlashes. Forest couldn't believe Garrett joined Luke in teasing Emma.
"Garrett, son, this isn't like you. You were taught better than that." Forest says.
"Luke, you know better." Charity says. "Maybe I should tell Lucy what you did today. I don't think she'll like what she hears."
"Please don't!" Luke says, begging on his knees.
"I can't pull you off of Shane's tour since it's still going on or pull you out of cheer camp because of it being a school requirement. But after all that, however, I think, after all that, it's fair that you be grounded until school starts. What you did today was unacceptable." Charity says to Luke. "So enjoy the last bit of freedom you'll have left until your groundation."
Luke sniffed, starting to cry. He really felt guilty for teasing Emma instead of teaching her.
"Go pack for the rest of the tour and cheer camp." Charity says to Luke, pointing up at the stairs. Luke sadly nodded and went to do so.
"As for you, Garrett, you're grounded for two weeks. I had a feeling you were dragged into it by Luke." Forest says. "I know you aren't going to cheer camp, anyway."
Garrett nodded. "That's fair." He says.
Meanwhile, Remy was scrubbing the toilet in his bathroom.
"Remington! When you're done with that, you have dishes to wash!" Victoria screamed up the stairs.
A note was in Brandy's room as it revealed Colleen was kidnapped. He says nothing and starts gathering his power-ups and his hammer.
"You're going to help her?" Randy asked.
"Do I need a reason to?" Angry Luigi says.
"Okay, let's go." Alem tuber says as they leap out the window. Angry Luigi was texting his friends. They meet up at some chemical factory and bust the doors down just to see gas.
The cosmic buddies woke up.
"Did we just lose?" Bill asked as Jason groaned. Sal shivered a bit, afraid.
"Wait, why'd you come?" Savannah asked.
"Someone needed help." Sal says.
"At last, this substance should mind-control Brandy." Colleen says and forces Brandy to drink it. Unfortunately, the effects were different as Brandy held his head in pain before looking blank.
"What happened?" Colleen asked.
Her mother, Miranda, entered, furious with her daughter. This was her lab and her equipment and Colleen never asked permission to touch any of the stuff in it. She wasn't just a governor, but she was also a brilliant chemist.
"You're a chemist? Amazing!" Bill says. "That makes about 3 chemists in Royal Woods."
Angry Luigi was in a comatose state.
"Colleen Christine Delaney!" Miranda screamed.
Collen froze. Her mother almost never used her full name. But now she knew she was in big trouble.
"It seems Insanity and Bruty are fighting for control. That what happens when someone tries to mind-control Angry Luigi" Emila says.
"Jason, I know you really don't like getting involved, but we need your help." Savannah says.
Jason had his eyes closed, then punched his fists. "Okay, what do you need me to do?" Jason says.
"We need to gather the crystal cubes. It will be a hard task and there may be other hunters out for them." Savannah says as Jason walks outside.
"Or I could use a mind-control spell." Emila says.
"As for you, young lady, I think you'll have a big pile of summer homeschool work with your name on it." Miranda says, dragging Colleen out by her arms.
"What a brat." Chrissy says.
"Hey, I baked Emma a cake." Savannah says as Emila used a spell to save Angry Luigi. He fell over.
Later, the cosmic buddies threw a party for Emma. Emma smiled a bit. She was feeling a lot better.
"Thank you." Emma says.
"Cynthia and Oliver made this for you." Skylia says as Emma opened the gift to see a cheer uniform.
With the cups, Mugman had Mona on his mind. Cuphead just watched him.
"So, are you going to move to Diamond City?" Cuphead asked.
"No. I can't miss school when it starts in the fall. Or cheer camp in a few weeks." Mugman says.
Soon, Emma hit her piñata as candy fell out. Everyone got to have some.
Shane sighed as he walked to the manor in tears.
"Hey, we'll remember your half-birthday, Shane." Shelby says, comforting him.
"Sure…" Shane sniffed.
Soon, Emma sees her cake as everyone sings to her.
Emma smiled and thought of a wish. She wished she could be a good cheerleader and singer and blew out her candles.
