The next morning, R.A. Sid, and Althea woke up, and had breakfast together. They each had a bowl of Frosted Flakes, oranges, bananas, apples, and a cup of tea.
R.A.: Althea, how would you secretly use your magic to sneak us back home?
Althea: It will work best if we do it outside.
When they all finished eating, they tried to go outside. Althea went outside first, then R.A. followed... and got stuck in the door because she was still overweight. Althea grabbed R.A.'s hands from outside, and tried pulling her out. Sid then used her own hands, from inside the house, to try pushing her out.
R.A.: I hope this is the last time this happens!
Soon, R.A. popped free. She flew out the door, and onto the ground in front of Althea, and accidentally knocked her down. Both get up off the ground, while Sid went outside the door.
Sid: Althea, how does this spell work again?
R.A.: Yeah, what do we have to do?
Althea: Alright, first, we need to hold hands together, then I can show you.
Sid: Okay.
Sid and R.A. and Althea held hands, and then Althea moved her free hand up and down, and suddenly, a purple sparkle form came through them, and magically transported them near the Mercado. R.A. and Sid looked around at where they were...
R.A.: Did anyone see us?
Althea: I don't think so.
R.A.: Well, goodbye for now, Althea.
Sid: We hope to see you again soon.
Althea: (cheerfully) Of course we will!
The enchanted girl then disappears, then R.A. and Sid go inside the apartment building.
The two girls climb up the stairs, and while going up to their floors...
Sid: Goodbye, Ronnie Anne.
R.A.: See you later, Sid.
They had separate from each other. While Sid continued climbing the stairs, R.A. was on the floor where her apartment was. She went to the door, and went inside. She quietly try to walk to her room without being seen. R.A. saw Maria sitting on the couch drinking coffee. Silently, she passed the living room, and then continued going until she arrived to her room. R.A. climbed into her bed, laid down, and look at her stomach...
R.A.: (wondering) How am I going to get skinny again?
She holds up her stomach, and wondered what she going to do in her current situation.
R.A.: I might as well take a nap.
R.A. then got under her sheet and blanket, and slept until lunch. Rosa then came into R.A.'s room, and tapped onto her on the shoulder. R.A. yelped as she was immediately awake...
R.A.: What's going on, Abuela?!
Rosa: It's time for lunch, Mijita.
Rosa leaves the room. R.A. immediately got out of bed, and heads to the kitchen, where she sees the whole family having a Mexican lunch, of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and churros.
Frida: Ronnie Anne, where were you last night?
R.A.: Uh, I was visiting a friend's house, Auntie Frida.
R.A. then sat down at the table. Her stomach was pressing against the table...
Maria: Ronnie Anne, how did you get bigger?
R.A.: I had a lot of snacks at my friend's place.
Maria: Would you consider maybe eating a little less?
R.A.: I will try.
R.A. then starts putting 2 of everything on her plate. Maria notices this...
Maria: Don't you think you should start now, by having only one of everything?
R.A. didn't really hear what her mother said, too busy enjoying her food, plus a cup of grape soda. She ate her entire meal, then left the table. R.A. was feeling stuffed from her big lunch. While trying to walk back to her room, she briefly lost her balance, and put her left hand on the wall...
R.A.: (groans) I probably should have not put that much food on my plate.
Soon, R.A. made it to her room (while still feeling stuffed from her meal) and got onto her bed. She held her stomach with her hands, and felt like she may have to exercise to get thin again...
R.A.: I'll still try to do whatever I can to help Althea in her current situation.
R.A. then got off her bed, and started to exercise...
Cut to the forest.
Althea was in her home reading a book, when she heard a knock on the door.
Althea: (to herself) Who could that be?
The enchanted girl got up, went to the door, and went she opened it, her mom Eira, and brother Ewan said, 'Surprise!' freaking her out. She took a few deep breaths, and looked at them...
Althea: (annoyed) Hello, Mom, and Ewan.
Ewan: Hi, sis.
Eira: Hello, dear.
Althea: Did you two have to scare me like that?
Ewan: We just wanted to surprise you.
Eira: Sorry if we had to do that.
Althea: (happily) Well, it's great to see you both.
Althea then hugs her mother and brother warmly.
Althea: Why did you both come here?
Eira: We found something that could help us a whole lot!
Ewan: It's a magical substance that could help rebuild our whole village!
Althea: (amazed) What is it?!
Eira: It's a healing powder!
Althea: (sighs) Okay, how would healing powder help the village?
Ewan: We could spread that powder over what's left of it, and then it will start healing the damage.
Althea thinks about it for a moment...
Althea: I think something like that would be a good idea.
Eira: Would you come with us and see it?
Althea: I'd love to. Where's the healing powder.
Eira: We have to go to the zoo to find it.
Althea, Eira, and Ewan go to the Great Lakes City Zoo. Eira pointed the path to where they were going, which was past where the flamingos were, and soon reached a brown wooden fence, with a small square opening, to which, when they came by it there was a lavender-colored glow there...
Althea: I hope this is where the substance is.
The three of them got down on the ground, and crawled into the hole, where they came across a path, and saw red laser lights up and down it, which shocked them...
Ewan: Oh, no! It's guarded!
Eira: How are we gonna get past this?!
Althea thought about it, and came up with an idea...
Althea: We could jump over and duck under the lights as we get to them! We just can't touch them.
Eira and Ewan nodded. When they got to each red light, they jumped over, then dunked down, and crawled under while getting through the path. Up ahead, Althea saw a smaller lavender-colored glow...
Althea: I see something!
She saw it on the ground: a small bottle of healing powder. Then she picked it up, and put it inside her brown bag. Then the enchanted girl ducked down and jump over the red laser lights back to the hole. Althea then turned to Eira and Ewan...
Althea: I wonder, why didn't either of you didn't see this powder out here?
Eira: Well... the potion was really small.
Ewan: Yeah, we just couldn't see it.
Althea: Oh.
Althea, Eira, and Ewan then got down to the ground, and crawled their way out of the hole. They walked through the Great Lakes Zoo... and it cuts to where they make it make to Althea's house.
Althea: Let's put this powder in a safe place.
Althea, Ewan, and Eira put the small lavender healing powder under a loose floorboard that was in the living room. The enchanted girl turned to Eira and Ewan...
Althea: Do you know if any of our enemies after this powder, too?
Eira: We're not sure.
Ewan: Yeah, we don't know.
Althea: Well, I just hope that this powder will stay safe for as long as we need it to be.
Ewan and Ewan agreed, then they both say goodbye to the enchanted girl, and walked out the door.
Cut back to the Casagrande's apartment, with R.A. who was doing some push-ups, and was doing pretty well.
R.A. ...98, 99, 100!
After finishing 100 push-ups, R.A. then checked herself by looking at a mirror...
R.A.: (surprised) Wow... I still look the same.
She saw that those push-ups weren't helping her much, because she was still fat...
R.A.: I need to do more work.
Next, R.A. decided to do some sit-ups. After doing about 50 of them, she didn't find them any easier than push-ups. Then she tried doing some jumping jacks. While doing about 20 of them, her stomach jiggled a bit. After that, she went for a jog outside. She ran for about a mile. She went past the barber shop and the Hi' 'N' Buy store. She saw her friends, Nikki, Sameer, and Casey. She said a quick 'hello' to the three kids, and continued on jogging.
Soon R.A. arrived back home, but she discovers, by looking at another mirror, that she was still fat...
R.A.: Did I even lose any weight?
She found a scale nearby, and stepped on it. R.A. saw that she had only lost 5 pounds.
R.A.: (sighs) I might need to exercise more.
She decided to take a break for a while, and went to watch TV in the living room. Soon, she went to kitchen to get something to eat.
Trying not to gain so much weight again, R.A. got some fruits, vegetables, and Swiss cheese, and went back to the living room.
R.A.: I think this stuff would be more nutritious.
R.A. went to sit on the couch, and ate an apple, an orange, 2 celery and carrot sticks, and 2 slices of Swiss cheese. Shortly after she finished eating, she heard a knock on the door.
R.A.: Who is it?
Sid: It's me, Sid.
R.A.: Come in.
Sid walked into the Casagrande's apartment...
Sid: How have you been doing, Ronnie Anne?
R.A.: I'm been doing a lot of exercising, but it's hardly even working.
Sid: Have you've been doing it for a few days?
R.A.: No. How would that make a difference, Sid?
Sid: Because you could lose more weight by continuing that routine longer.
R.A. thought about that for a moment, then says, 'I'll try it.' She then remembered something, and told Sid about it...
R.A.: Althea and her family had lived in a village, until a forest fire blew over there, and burned everyone's home down.
Sid remained silent as R.A. would tell her the whole story of how that happened. Afterwards, Sid felt bad...
Sid: Whoa, that was sad. Is there anything I can do to help?
R.A.: Thanks, Sid. I'm trying to think of a way to help them myself.
Sid thinks for a bit, and has an idea...
Sid: How about we try looking up Althea's species?
R.A.: That's a good idea. Let's go on my laptop to find out about the enchanted species?
The two girls went to R.A.'s room, and R.A. brought out her laptop to look up that information. Sid finds out something amazing...
Sid: That enchanted girl can do real magic because she is part fairy!
They both looked puzzled...
R.A.: But how could Althea be part if she doesn't have wings?
Sid: (now realizes) Oh, I just thought of that. But what if she was related to one, and inherited her magic powers?
R.A.: That might be possible.
They look up more information about enchanted species, and found out they have to have had at least one human who is in their family...
Sid: Wow, Althea might have a human family member!
R.A.: Who could it be?
They both thought for a while, then R.A. spoke up...
R.A.: Althea had told me a female human was in charge of her whole tribe. Could she be related to her family?
R.A. and Sid looked at each other, in amazement.
Sid: Maybe. How will we help Althea out here?
R.A.: Well, we could ask what she and her family remember the most about their village.
Sid nodded in agreement. Then they both walked out of the Casagrandes' apartment complex
and went back to the forest to see Althea again...
