"On your feet." The knight with purple armor stated to the group, staring down at them, speaking in a cold and Intimidating voice. "Darkness has come for you all." He said, pointing his sword at the group, holding his shield close. They all could tell, he wasn't messing around with them.
The teens and Udonna rose back onto their feet while they stared at this stranger. How was it possible he was able to knock them all onto the ground with a single attack? He was truly powerful if he was able to do it with such ease.
"I do not know you, warrior." Udonna started by saying to the stranger in purple armor, that her voice was calm and firm while she took in his form and his capabilities. "But if it's a battle you want, I am ready to fight." She stated to him, willing to fight him if that was the case.
"Wait, maybe we can reason with him." Jaune, ever the optimist of the group said with a shaking voice after that attack that had knocked them to the ground. He slowly and cautiously got in front of the group. "Hi, the name is Jaune Arc." Jaune stated his name but before he could speak the purple knight Interrupted him.
"I'm Koragg, the knight wolf." He stated his name with a calm and dark voice while he sheathing his sword into his shield. He then raised his arm and said "Uthe Mejor Catastros" With these words, a portal opened up, summoning his Catastros which came out of the portal. "Ride up from your depths."
He then jumped into the air and shouted another spell. "Uthe Mejor." He opened a dark porta that he could go through to become large. He then combined himself with Catastros. Koragg joins with Catastros in its four-legged configuration, becoming a giant centaur with Koragg replacing Catastros' head.
"You are now just pebbles under my hoofs." Koragg stated with dark laughter in his voice while he stared down at the rangers. His lower body went up like a horse would before his hoofs slammed back into the ground, shaking the earth itself.
"Get back." Udonna ordered the Rangers as they were close to each other, and watched her. "You are not ready to fight his kind, but I am." She told them before she stepped forward and transformed into her mystic force ranger form. She then jumped into the air and transformed herself into a giant.
She stood alone facing the knight who called himself Koragg the knight wolf. Meanwhile, Weiss, Ren, Nora, and Jaune himself were understandably left in utter shock after seeing not one, but two people turn into giants in front of them. They knew magic was real, but this was not something they expected.
Weiss stumbled backward, her eyes wide with disbelief as she took in the sight before her. "This... this can't be real," she muttered, her voice trembling with shock. Her mind raced, trying to make sense of the situation. Magic was one thing, but this was beyond anything she had ever imagined. She glanced around at her teammates, seeking reassurance, but found only mirrored expressions of bewilderment.
Ren's usually calm demeanor faltered as he took a step back, his eyes darting between the colossal figures of Koragg and Udonna. "Weiss, I... I don't know what to think," he stammered, his voice wavering slightly. "But we can't just stand here. We need to figure out how to help Udonna, and fast."
Jaune's heart pounded in his chest as he listened to Ren, his mind swirling with a mix of fear and disbelief. "But... how?" he questioned, his voice barely above a whisper. "She's... she's gigantic. What can we possibly do against something like that?" The weight of the situation pressed down on him, and it was clear from his tone that he felt utterly overwhelmed.
But before the group could do anything, the fight started with Udonna blasting off several blasts of ice toward Koragg. But he blocked it with ease, showing that there was a clear power gap between the two of them, with Koragg being the stronger magic user, in this battle between them.
Udonna then charged at Koragg, but he laughed at her and raised his lower body slightly, using his hoofs to kick her in the chest. Udonna got hurt by the attack but she wouldn't go down so easily, She swung her snow staff at him, but he blocked it with his shield.
"Have I seen you before wizard?" Udonna asked Koragg, her voice echoing around the area because of how large she was. "You are too familiar with the way you fight." She told him, but he also had the same feelings about her.
"You too witch, but what will not stop me from destroying you." He said to her, and she was confused before he said "Behold the eyes of the master." Once again, his shield showed an eye located in the center of the shield. He fired off blasts shaped like wold heads at her and sent her flying back.
She landed far away from him onto her back with a loud bang, shaking the ground beneath her form. She slowly stood up and looked up but it was too late, Koragg already charged at her. He swung his giant sword down on her, with devastating effect, and with a single swing he defeated her. She lost her snow staff as she returned to her human form, the staff landing on the ground.
Jaune was the first to act and rushed toward Udonna injured form quickly, with Nora, Ren, and Weiss following him. The snow staff, caused it to snow around the area, despite it being not winter, its power was uncontrolled since Udonna wasn't controlling it.
"I will spare all of you." Koragg stated as he picked up the snow staff into his hand to face the group, none of them knowing his expression behind the helmet. "So that you witness firsthand that terror and destruction that unfolds on your land." He explained to them, his voice dark and cold while he spoke to the rangers. "Remember this day, you will wish it was your last."
"Uthe Sastos." The purple knight wolf said the spell and conjured a porta that allowed him to teleport away from them in a single blink of an eye. Jaune and Ran gently help Udonnaup onto her feet after Koragg crushed her with ease in their short battle with each other.
As Koragg's words echoed ominously in the air, Jaune exchanged a worried glance with Ren, his brow furrowing in concern. "What do we do now?" he asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty. The threat of destruction weighed heavily on his mind, but he knew they couldn't afford to give in to fear.
Nora, her usually cheerful demeanor overshadowed by the gravity of the situation, stepped forward, determination burning in her eyes. "We can't let him get away with this," she declared, her voice surprisingly steady despite the fear gnawing at her. "We have to find a way to stop him."
Weiss, still reeling from the shock of the battle, clenched her fists in frustration. "But how?" she questioned, her voice tinged with frustration. "He's too powerful. We barely stood a chance against him." The realization of their vulnerability unsettled her, but she refused to let fear paralyze her. "He took us down in a single attack."
"At ease." Udonna said with a calm voice despite her injured body to the four rangers, and laned onto Jaune for support. "For now, none of you will stand a chance even if you have a plan, that wizard is too powerful in your current state." She explained to them with a grave tone of voice.
"For now, let's get back to Root Core." She told the four teens and the powers rangers looked at each other before they sighed. They would have to listen to her, even if they didn't like that idea. No matter how they felt they were still new to magic itself, and that purple knight took them down in a single attack.
Udonna's calm demeanor belied the severity of her injuries, her voice carrying an air of authority despite her weakened state. Jaune supported her weight, his concern evident as he listened to her words. "But what about stopping him?" The yellow Mystic ranger questioned, his voice tinged with frustration. "We can't just let him wreak havoc unchecked."
Nora nodded in agreement, her fists clenched in determination. "We can't just sit back and do nothing," she insisted, her voice unwavering. "There has to be something we can do to stop him."
Weiss exchanged a worried glance with Ren, her mind racing with possibilities. "We can't go back empty-handed," she stated, her voice tinged with urgency. "There has to be a way to defeat him, even if we're not strong enough right now."
Ren remained silent for a moment, his gaze fixed on Udonna's injured form. "She's right," he finally spoke, his voice calm but resolute. "We need to regroup and come up with a plan. We can't afford to rush into this blindly."
Reluctantly, the four teens nodded in agreement, acknowledging the wisdom in Udonna's words. Though they longed to confront Koragg head-on, they knew that rushing into battle without a plan would only lead to disaster. With heavy hearts, they turned and followed Udonna back to Root Core.
The incomplete team and Udonna returned to Root Core and were currently inside the tree. They had tended to their wounds from the blast the purple knight gave them, with them being slightly burnt and had some blunt force trauma. But it was nothing that would leave permanent damage on them.
"Now, children." Udonna spoke up after the four rangers fixed up their wounds and looked at them with the same motherly but firm expression. "Because I am without my snow staff, I can't fight anymore." She explained to them while they all stood around the table. "But I can still train you and teach you the way of magic."
"Claire." Udonna called out for her apprentice with a gentle tone while she turned around to look for her. However, once Claire came, she was still in the sheep form, having no idea how to get out of it. "Oh dear." Udonna gently walked towards her and waved her hand, transforming Claire back to her human form.
Ren's eyes widened in awe as he watched Udonna's display of magic, a newfound respect for her abilities blossoming within him. "That's incredible," he murmured, his voice filled with admiration. Despite the seriousness of their situation, Ren couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the magic that surrounded them.
However, not everyone was happy, especially Claire.
"Why didn't you do that before, do you know how warm it was in all that wool." Clair says with a slightly annoyed tone of voice while she is still on all fours. She sounded slightly like a spoiled child when she said that to Udonna.
"Now, if I do everything for you, how will you ever learn." Udonna spoke with a slight laugh in her voice while she explained to her apprentice. Clair, finally realizing she was still on all fours, quickly stood up and dusted her dress.
"Now, let's get back to business." Udonna summoned the ranger's wands with a flick of her wrist and handed them out to their respective owner. "This time, go nowhere without them." She told them with a calm and gentle voice while she gave them a nod.
Weiss's brow furrowed slightly as she took the wand from Udonna, her expression one of confusion mixed with a hint of skepticism. "Um, thank you," she said politely, though her tone betrayed her uncertainty. She turned the wand over in her hand, studying it with a critical eye.
"I understand the importance of being prepared," Weiss began, her voice tinged with reluctance. "But carrying around a wooden stick in public... it seems rather impractical, don't you think?" She glanced at Udonna, hoping for some reassurance or perhaps an explanation that would ease her doubts.
Clair and Udonna shared a look before they both nodded and turned back to the rangers. "Very well." The Sorceress decided to help to make them more fashionable and less standoutish. She spoke some magical words, and their wands turned into color-coded Scrolls, Green for Ren, Yellow for Jaune, Blue for Weiss, and Pink for Nora.
Jaune blinked in astonishment as the wands transformed into colorful scrolls before his eyes, his expression a mix of surprise and curiosity. "Whoa, that's... unexpected," he remarked, his voice filled with wonder. He glanced at his friends, a hint of excitement flickering in his eyes.
Weiss's skepticism melted away as the scrolls appeared, her eyes widening in amazement. "Well, that's certainly more practical," she commented, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. The thought of carrying around a fashionable accessory instead of a wooden wand eased her concerns, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of relief.
"These are your mystic Morphers." Udonna started by explaining to them with a calm voice. "They are activated by spell code that you will come to learn along the journey. Now go back to the city, live your normal life, and wait until you are needed." She explained to them while they listened to her words.
"But remember." She told them suddenly to make things clear for them. "There is evil everywhere and you would be best served speaking to no one of what has happened." She warmed them about the dangers.
"I can show them the way out of the woods." Clair suddenly chimed in with her words, hoping to help them, but Udonna shut that down.
"No, they must find their way out." The former White power Mystic ranger told her and looked back at the group. "Just remember, the trees are your passage." She had a smile on her face when she said it.
And she wasn't joking as the group found a tree after they left Root Core, that they were able to walk through back into the city of Vale.
"Damnit, this city looks the same." I shouted in anger as the stupid city just looked the same every freaking way. I pulled my hair as I roared into the air, ignoring the passerby who gave me a strange look.
I had realized this world was stupidly different from my world, the technology was more advanced, the population was smaller, their main power was Dust, and more different than I noticed. I couldn't believe this bullshit, I died and came back to life, but go no Isekai power, or even was able to use magic like the other four teens.
This was horribly unfair.
How was I meant to be the overpowered MC, if I had no cheats?
I sighed and looked around while I walked down the random street with a bored expression. I had no idea where to start considering I had no money, no phone, and so forth, I had nothing to my name except the clothes off my back.
I suddenly bumped into someone and I turned to face them with a glare, but they kept walking and I heard him say something about stupid animals. I sighed, great racism was also a thing in this world, could this get worse?
"Hey, Jack" I heard someone call me and I turned around to groan loudly as I saw Jaune running over to me. I had spoken too soon, and now my day was worse than I wanted.
"What the hell do you want, blondie." I asked him with an annoyed voice while glaring at him, I wasn't mad at him, just mad at the world right now. I stood there and waited for him to answer me, as he finally reached me."Come to brag about your new powers." I asked him with a brash tone.
Jaune slowed to a stop, taken aback by the harshness in my voice. He raised his hands in a placating gesture, his expression one of genuine concern. "No, Jack, it's not like that," he said earnestly, shaking his head. "I just wanted to check on you. I know things have been... rough."
He hesitated for a moment, searching for the right words. "I get that you're frustrated, and I can't imagine how it feels to be left out. But we're a team, and we need you just as much as you need us." His voice was sincere, hoping to convey that he wasn't there to boast but to offer support. "We're all in this together, powers or not."
"Please, don't try this whole support friend thing, we are not even friends." I pointed out that fact without hesitation or remorse. "The only reason I went into that forest was because you volunteered me in front of people." I explained to him as I went on a rant about this. "I would have looked like a heartless bastard if I turned down helping that old man, who turned out to be a woman who knew magic."
"Because of you, I had to go into a dangerous forest, I had to fight against Hidiaces, who might have cracked my bones slightly, got told I couldn't be a ranger because I didn't believe in magic, and was led out of there by a damn girl that turned herself into a sheep." I shouted at him in public, but I didn't care, I felt like I had every right to be mad at this bastard in front of me.
Jaune's expression softened as I unleashed my frustrations, his guilt weighing heavily on him. He swallowed hard, his eyes reflecting genuine remorse as he listened to my accusations.
"I... I didn't realize," Jaune began, his voice tinged with regret. "I'm sorry, Jack. I didn't mean to put you in that position. I was just trying to help, but I see now that I overstepped." He shifted uncomfortably, his gaze falling to the ground. "You're right, we're not friends, but that doesn't mean I don't care about what happens to you."
He took a step closer, his tone earnest. "I can't change what happened, but I want to make things right. If you need someone to talk to, or if there's anything I can do to help, just let me know." His offer was genuine, a silent plea for forgiveness lingering in his words.
"Fuck that." I shut him down straight away before I walked away without hesitation in my steps. "You already put me in danger, I ain't letting that happen again." With that, I turned the corner into another street away from him. I wasn't a person who easily forgave people after something this big happened.
Jaune watched in silence as Jack walked away, his heart heavy with regret. He knew he had made a mistake, and the weight of Jack's anger weighed heavily on him. He stood there for a moment, grappling with the reality of the situation before finally turning away, his shoulders slumped with defeat. But Jaune vowed to himself that he would do whatever it took to earn Jack's trust again, even if it meant facing the consequences of his actions alone.
Meanwhile, I was looking around for anything that could remotely be a way back to my world, in this weird place. I could, but it wasn't possible but I didn't want to give up, I had a family back in my world, people who loved me, and I couldn't just disappear from my world without saying goodbye.
I couldn't believe I died, and come back into another world, it felt like a sick joke, considering I not only got my ass whooped, but almost dead again. It's almost like the god has some type of joke he was pulling on me.
I felt the sudden need to scream but I held it in, I wouldn't let this world break me in a single damn day. I wasn't going to let whoever sent me here have the final laugh, I was going to find them and kill that son of a bitch.
But before I could think of anything else, I saw Udonna in front of me, and I groaned, already knowing what this meant.
I went to meet her and have the talk like all Mc gets when they can't control their powers.
It was a few hours later, and the incompleted team was in the middle of a battle with the Hidiaces in a forest. They were called here by Udonna after she sensed something was being summoned and they were sent here to deal with them.
It was awfully weird they meant Hidiaces two times a day, it was almost like someone summoned them here on purpose. But despite them not using any weapon, all they suddenly knew martial arts besides Ren who already knew.
"Is it just me, or do they feel weaker." Jaune asked his teammates, as they were all transformed into their ranger forms. He had noticed he felt stronger, faster, more durable, and overall physically more powerful despite his zero training.
Weiss, executing a precise kick that sent a Hidiace stumbling back, paused for a brief moment to respond to Jaune. "It's not just you," she replied, her voice slightly distorted by her ranger helmet but still carrying her characteristic sharpness. "They do seem weaker, but it's more than that. We've been given a boost by these powers. It's like... magic is enhancing our abilities."
"Who cares." Nora shouted with glee as she grabbed one of the Hidiaces by the shoulders, and performed a hands stance. She swung her entire body down, into a full-force kick, sending the Hidiace crashing through a tree. "I'm a martial arts Queen." She laughed her usual manic laughter and she stomped another Hidiace so hard, it cracked the ground.
Ren grinned beneath his helmet, impressed by Nora's display of strength and skill. "Looks like these powers come with some unexpected perks," he remarked, his voice tinged with amusement as he deftly dodged a Hidiace's attack.
Jaune chuckled, a mixture of relief and excitement in his tone. "Yeah, it's like we've been training for this our whole lives," he agreed, throwing a punch that sent another Hidiace flying. The newfound strength and agility were undeniable, making their task of battling the creatures much easier than before.
However, just when they thought they would win, all the Hidiaces disappeared in a purple light, and they heard dark laughter. Kroagg, appeared in front of them in a purple light, having summon himself.
"I'm back." The purple knight said with a calm and dark voice while he looked at the rangers. He slowly and surely walked towards them, seeing them as no threats to him. "You might have your ranger powers, but you are no match for me. I call on my sword from the darkness" Just then purple lightning appeared in his hand, and both his shield and sword appeared.
He took his sword into his right hand, and got into a perfect stance, giving them little to no openings, while keeping his stand flexible. "This is your end." He told them as his shield opened in the middle, showing the red eye again, as he did before.
Weiss took a cautious step back, her eyes narrowing as she assessed Koragg's stance and the power radiating from his sword and shield. "Everyone, stay sharp," she instructed, her voice steady but urgent. "He's not like the Hidiaces. We need to work together and exploit any openings we can find."
She glanced at her teammates, her resolve unwavering. "Ren, keep an eye on his movements. Jaune, and Nora, stay close and support each other. We kept letting get any momentum." Determination radiated from her as she prepared for the fight ahead, ready to lead her team against the formidable foe.
However, the fight wasn't even fair, it was totally one-sided. No matter what they did, no matter what strategy they did, Koragg beat them. All of them were beaten by Koragg, it wasn't even a close. None of them were even able to put up a fight against him, they were all beaten down through and through.
Koragg stood over the fallen rangers, his stance relaxed and composed, a stark contrast to the ruthlessness he had just displayed. He looked down at them, his voice calm yet dripping with contempt. "Pathetic," he sneered, the red eye on his shield gleaming menacingly. "You thought you could challenge me with your newfound powers? You are nothing but children playing at being warriors."
He pointed his sword at the yellow ranger's throat with a swift, decisive motion. "Remember this defeat. Remember your powerlessness. For every time you rise, I will be there to crush you back into the dirt." His voice remained cold, each word a deliberate strike meant to break their spirits.
Jaune, bruised and battered, struggled to his feet, his face a mix of pain and determination. "We... we're not giving up," he said, his voice wavering but resolute. "We'll keep fighting. We have to." Despite the overwhelming odds, Jaune's spirit remained unbroken, a flicker of hope shining in his eyes.
"Such wasteful words." Koragg stated, clearly unamused by his pathetic words spoken. "I'll shall make this quick." He raised his sword, ready to strike them down a final time. But he stopped when he heard a sound, and he quickly looked to the side to see a motorcycle heading his way.
I rode the motorcycle towards him before I jumped off it, causing the vehicle to fly into Koragg. Meanwhile, I landed on the ground at a safe distance after what I did. Koragg's eyes narrowed as the motorcycle hurtled toward him. With a swift motion, he swung his sword, slicing the vehicle in half effortlessly.
The two halves of the motorcycle crashed to the ground, sending sparks flying before it exploded on itself. He turned his gaze toward the newcomer, his expression hidden behind his helmet but his stance conveying irritation.
Jaune, still struggling to his feet, watched in shock as Jack intervened. "Jack!" he called out, a mix of relief and surprise in his voice. He hadn't expected Jack to come back, especially after their earlier confrontation.
Koragg's voice rumbled with cold amusement as he addressed Jack. "You dare to challenge me?" he sneered. "You are as foolish as the rest of them." He raised his sword again, prepared to face this new threat, his confidence unshaken despite the surprise attack.
"Yes, but I was never a smart man." I admit without shame as I crack my knuckles together and glared at him. "I never knew when to back down." I had a smile on my face and took a deep breath in, as I got ready for this. "But, might as well, do something good before I die."
Koragg's eyes narrowed beneath his helmet as he regarded Jack with a mixture of disdain and curiosity. "Foolish bravery," he muttered, his voice laced with cold amusement. "You will regret crossing paths with me."
He lunged forward with speed that belied his size, swinging his sword in a vicious arc aimed at Jack. The blade whistled through the air with deadly precision, seeking to end the confrontation swiftly.
"I believe in magic." I shouted into the air, and this time, I meant it, as I truly believed in it. Just before Koragg could land his hit, an inferno blasted around me, creating a vortex of pure flames, and causing him to back away. "And I'll bring you to the end." I glared at Koragg, as my magic was so intense.
While Weiss, Ren, Nora, and Jaune's magic output was above average because they are rangers. My magic was so intense it burnt the surrounding area, slowly melting things into nothing, and the vortex took the form of a Phoenix.
Koragg staggered back, his eyes wide as the inferno erupted around Jack. The sheer intensity of the flames forced him to shield himself with his shield, the red eye on it glowing fiercely as it struggled against the onslaught. "What—?!" Koragg roared, his calm demeanor shattered by the unexpected power. He raised his sword defensively, but the flames roared with a life of their own, forcing him to retreat a step further.
Jaune, eyes wide with shock and hope, watched the scene unfold before him. "Is this… really happening?" he gasped, his voice filled with disbelief as he took in the Phoenix-shaped vortex of flames that now surrounded me.
Nora, eyes sparkling with excitement, looked from Jack to Koragg and back again. "Look at him go!" she cheered her enthusiasm a sharp contrast to the gravity of the situation. "He's like a hero from a story!"
The Phoenix-shaped vortex of flames surrounded me before it disappeared, and I had my clothes changed, and a cloak behind me, with a red Phoenix pattern. I held my scroll before grabbing the cloak, and ripping it off me, while I dialed in a number. "Magical source, mystic force." I shouted into the air and pointed my scroll there.
I transformed into my red mystic ranger outfit, with a sword to my left, and I got into a stance. "As fierce as fire." I said to him as an explosion of fire came behind me after my transformation in front of him. "Red Mystic Ranger."
Koragg being the honorable fighter he was, couldn't help but take a step forward and call out to the Red Ranger. "Prove to me your worthiness." Koragg acknowledges the Red Ranger's power for the moment. "Red Ranger, show me that you are more than a mere spark in the darkness. Battle me, Red Ranger." His sword was poised at his side, the red eye on his shield glaring ominously as he prepared for the fight.
We blast towards each other in a flash, our swords ready for the battle, and for the moment. The rest of the team watched, we clang our swords against each other, while I was going all out, Koragg wasn't because of how much more powerful he was.
We both swung at the same time, our swords clanging against each other with such force, that we were pushed back. We both slid to a stop, and everyone could see the difference between us. While Koragg, has only a tiny mark from the battle, I was covered in slash marks all over my body, with blood leaking out.
However, despite the difference between us, I had yet to let out a sound, it was almost like I was used to pain. I got my stance high for another about with him, not backing down despite the overwhelming skill and power Koragg possesses.
Weiss watched with a mixture of concern and admiration, her hands clenched around her other hand as she witnessed the unequal fight unfolding before her. Ren's brow furrowed in worry, his usual calm demeanor betraying the tension he felt. Nora's fists clenched at her sides, her expression a mix of frustration and determination.
Jaune, his heart racing with concern for Jack, clenched his fists as he watched his friend stand defiantly against the overwhelming power of Koragg. "Hang in there, Jack," he muttered under his breath, his voice filled with determination. He knew Jack was fighting not just for himself, but for the entire team.
As the battle continued, I refused to yield, my resolve unshaken despite the pain and exhaustion. I readied myself for another clash with Koragg, my stance unwavering as I prepared to face the next onslaught with everything he had.
I and Koragg dashed against each other for a second round, and I swung my sword hard and fast, as he blocked with his blade. Koragg, with Incredible speed, spun around to slash me from behind but I did something unexpected, I ran into the forest. Koragg ran after me, as we both moved through the trees at top speed.
I suddenly changed direction and ran past a tree before I appeared at his right side, and slashed, landing my first actual clean hit. Of course, it barely did anything as I went back into the forest before Kroagg could attack me. I was now using the forest to my advantage for the moment.
I then attacked from above, trying to stab through his neck area, but he used his shield to block my attack at the last second. I then pushed off his shield and landed a safe distance back away from him.
With a cool, calculated demeanor, Koragg watched as I landed a few feet away. "Impressive," Koragg said, his voice carrying a hint of dark amusement. "You are clever to use the environment to your advantage. But such tactics will only delay your defeat."
He stepped forward, his sword raised with a menacing grace. "You still have much to learn before you can stand against me," he taunted, his eyes gleaming with ruthless satisfaction. "But I admire your spirit. It will make your fall all the more satisfying."
"And your arrogance will be your downfall." I said with a cold voice, before I used magic to light my hand on fire, and placed it on the ground, causing the forest to burn. The smoke billowed up swiftly, engulfing the area in a dense haze. I moved swiftly into the cover of the smoke, his steps silent and purposeful.
Koragg, momentarily obscured by the rising smoke, scanned his surroundings with narrowed eyes. The acrid smell of burning wood filled the air, but his resolve remained unshaken. His helmeted gaze darted back and forth, searching for any sign of movement amidst the swirling haze.
"You think you can hide from me?" Koragg's voice cut through the smoke, his tone dripping with contempt. He moved cautiously through the thickening mist, his sword raised and ready to strike at a moment's notice.
Kroagg suddenly jumped back when a tree almost fell on top of him, and he saw it had been cut down. Several other trees fell down, and the knight moved with great speed to dodge each one of them. But it was a trap as the tree fell in a pattern, and I appeared and slashed his stomach, causing sparks to fly off his armor.
I then went back into the smoke as Kroagg followed after me, and I led him towards a tree. I then jumped onto the tree, before I flipped behind him, but in mid-air, I stabbed down onto his shoulder. But Koragg sensed the movement just in time, twisting his body away from the lethal blow and deflecting the attack with a swift motion of his shield.
I landed a safe distance away from him, as I was panting heavily meanwhile he was fine and barely looked winded. I gritted my teeth in annoyance, and I decided to just put my all into this final attack.
"Let's end this." I shouted into the air, and I used magic to engulf my sword in flame, as fire burned around us. I was going for a final attack, and I was putting my entire magic load into the sword for the clash between our blades.
Koragg's gaze was steady, his expression a mixture of respect and ruthlessness. He lifted his sword, readying himself for the final clash. "Very well," Koragg said, his tone calm but resolute. "Let us see if your flames can overcome the darkness."
We dashed at each other, and we clashed in a flash. But I lost the battle, as I couldn't react. His slashes were all connected to create one constant path, and the sheer power of this technique is probably the result of thousands of battles.
I fell on my knees, as he slashed me all over my body, and my outfit disappeared as I fell onto the ground. Koragg, standing behind me with his sword sheathed, regarded me with a mixture of respect and assessment. He saw potential in the young ranger, a flicker of promise amidst the defeat.
"You fought well," Koragg stated calmly, his voice carrying a hint of acknowledgment. "But you still have much to learn."
With that, Koragg made a decision not to end my life, sensing that their paths would cross again. With a flicker of purple light, Koragg teleported away from the forest, leaving me and the ranger team to process the aftermath of their encounter.
That day, they all saw the unbelievable power that Koragg possessed, no one, could be on the same level as him. And if he was an underling for the Supreme Master, how strong would the Master possibly be?
