Chapter 4; Gnome Your Frenemy

After school, Jim, Noah, Seth, and Toby were Trollmarket; Hero's Forge and Blinky were telling them a bit of troll history. "For centuries, the troll and human worlds stood separate and at peace, divided by bridges that acted as doorways between our two realms. But the Gumm-Gumm wanted to devour all of mankind. They were led by Gunmar "the Black." His war with the humans gave birth to their greatest hero named Kamen Rider Swait."

"So there have been Kamen Rider before us?" Noah said and then Blinky said. "Yes, Master Noah. And the trolls that fought Gunmar were us, the good hearted trolls. Led by the first Trollhunter Deya "the Deliverer" and the human king, we all fought Gunmar and his army at the Battle of Killahead Bridge. The battle was hard fought and many lost their lives, but in the end. Deya was able to turn Killahead into a portal to a sealed realm called the Darklands. Once Gunmar and his army were inside the Darklands, Deya then locked the doorway with the sacred amulet."

"You did destroy the bridge right?" Seth said and Blinky said. "Unfortunately the same magic used to make the portal to the Darklands, made the bridge impossible to completely destroy it. But we were able to tear it apart, stone by stone. And after we hid the pieces around the old world, we started looking for a new home in the new world. We stowed away on ships going to the new world. We soon arrive in a strange and exotic realm."

"New Jersey." Aaarrrgghh said and then Blinky said. "We kept walking. Eventually, we came across a new Hearthstone, and we realized we had found a new home… under Arcadia." Blinky finished reading the book and looked at everyone. While Noah, Toby and Aaarrrgghh paid attention to Blinky's story. Seth was finishing carving a dark-blue crystal and picking up the shards and walked over to a cauldron of boiling water. Seth did listen to Blinky, so Blinky was most mad at Jim, who was asleep. Blinky walked over to Jim and slammed the book closed. That woke Jim up and he started to speak Spanish. After Jim calmed down, Blinky said to him. "The training of troll history might seem like a minor duty, Master Jim, but–"

"Sorry, I pulled an all-nighter studying for my Spanish Comprehension exam and my brain is muy gooey."

"Why did you pull an all-nighter?" Noah said before Jim said. "I don't know. I guess I thought if I'm facing Draal in a week, my training would be a little more… active."

"Yeah, like, when is he going to learn Troll-kwondo? Or Rock-istu?" Toby said before Blinky said. "Before one fights, Toby D., one must understand why one fights. For these precious early steps will decide whether a young Trollhunter will become a Deya "the Deliverer."

"Or Unkar "the Unfortunate." Aaarrrgghh said as Blinky turned to Seth and said. "Master Seth, what are you doing?"

"We'll, if this recipe is correct. I am making a Soul Gadget. Thanks to this crystal and things you gave me." Seth said as he put a broken drone, a very old flip phone and dark-blue shards into the cauldron. Mix it around for a few minutes until it explodes. As they all started to clear away the smoke, Jim said to Seth. "What just happened?"

"Oh, that was to get rid of the remaining water in the cauldron." Seth said as he put his hand into the cauldron and pulled out a small dark-blue egg. They all walked over to Seth and Toby said. "An egg?"

"Yes Toby. In time it will hatch. But I think our Spanish exam with Senor Uhl "the Unforgiving." Will happen first. Speaking of which, Jim are you ready?"

"No, I'm doomed and before my match with Draal." Jim said before Noah said. "Jim calmed down, you don't know what the future will bring?"

"A-ha! But, to learn what will happen in the future, one must only look to the past." Blinky gave Noah the book and said to them. "I recommend A Brief Recapitulation of Troll Lore by the venerable Bedehilde. Volume one of 47."

"Okay, but if I don't pass the exam, I'm grounded and I can't be the Trollhunter. Sorry, Blinky, but the amulet chose me, and now I have two lives to keep up." Jim said as a female troll named Bagdwella ran up to Blinky. She was tired and Blinky thought it was a major problem. But she had a Rogue Gnome problem in her shop. Bagdwella took them to her shop and said. "First, I couldn't find my monocle, then my collection of bed coils. Now, something disappears every minute!" The Rogue Gnome then took a chair that Bagdwella was going to sit on. Blinky then said as he gave Bagdwella a hand. "Ah, yes. Gnome."

"Oh, dirty little pests. Up until last week, the glue traps were working fine." Bagdwella pushed Blinky's hand away and showed them the skeletal remains of a gnome on a glue trap. The Rogue Gnome then took the skeleton and disappeared. Bagdwella then said to Jim. "Fix it, Trollhunter!"

"Uh, yeah, I'm really sorry about that. See you need a gnome-catcher, and I'm, well, the Trollhunter, so—" Jim said, but stopped when Blinky said. "Oh, no, Master Jim. The Trollhunter cannot refuse the call. And what better a call for you to train with than a pint-sized quarry?"

"I agree with Blinky. Besides, it's a gnome, not Bular. We got this." Noah said as they all heard someone playing a guitar. The one playing the guitar was the Rogue Gnome. Blinky then said to everyone. "He's trying to distract us! Hold tight to your valuables."

"Why? He can't be that bad." Toby said before the Rouge Gnome stole his belt. Toby then said as he grabbed a piece of candy from his back pocket. "Oh, no! My belt! At least he didn't take my Nougat Nummy." The Rogue Gnome then stole Toby candy. Toby gasped and said. "We need to catch that gnome."

"You think?" Noah said as they tried to catch the Rogue Gnome. Tried being that keyword in that sentence. The Rogue Gnome was very fast and appeared all over the place. And to add salt to the wound, the Rogue Gnome stole Jim amulet. They all tried to grab the Rogue Gnome before he disappeared. But Rogue Gnome ran right into a hole too small for anyone. Aaarrrgghh said to Blinky. "Hole."

"Yes, it appears the plot quite literally deepens." Blinky said and Jim tried to call the amulet back to him, but it didn't work. Seth then said to Blinky. "Why is it not coming back?"

"Dolefully, that rule only applies if Master Jim rejected it. When thieved, it's another story. It's all in the Brief Recapitulation."

"Some Trollhunter you are. Jim "the Baby-Handed." Bagdwella said as she stopped Toby from eating her food. Blinky then said to Jim. "Master Jim, press on. This is not the moniker you want."

"What else can I do? I can't fit in that hole." Jim said before Noah said. "Unless you can shrink into the hole."

"That is an excellent idea, Master Noah." Blinky said and the humans didn't know what Blinky was talking about. Aaarrrgghh knew what Blinky was thinking and said. "Bad idea."

"No Trollhunter has ever lost his amulet. We'll need time to procure the Furgolator."

"What's a Furgolator?" Noah said before Blinky said. "Uh, don't worry about anything, Masters. Tend to your studies. We'll watch over the hole. Tomorrow, you all return refreshed to deal with this, uh… little trouble."

"Ok, let's go home." Noah said as they all started to walk out of Trollmarket. The only one that didn't move was Seth. Noah turned to his brother and said. "Are you coming?"

"No, I have to finch working on a Soul Jewel for tomorrow. See you at home." Seth said as he returned to the Hero's Forge. Back on the surface, Bular was hanging out in the city's museum. Which only had one security guard. Bular didn't kill the guard, but walked into a restricted area. Waiting there was Strickler and a lot of crates of different sizes. Bular said to Strickler, who was doing a checklist. "We built it here? Right under their noses? Are you a fool?"

"Haven't you ever heard that the best hiding place is in plain sight–" Strickler said, but stopped when Bular grabbed his neck and said to Strickler. "Don't patronize me, Imure."

"We want the same thing, Bular. I know you don't like waiting, but it's taken time for the changelings to acquire the remaining pieces." Strickler said as Bular threw him to the ground. As Strickler caught his breath, Bular opened a crate and inside the crate was a piece of the Killahead Bridge. Bular smiled because his father's freedom was close in hand.

The next day at school, half of Senor Uhl's class was doing a class presentation. In that half was Noah, Seth and Toby. Toby got a C, Noah got B- and Seth got an A for their presentations. Jim was doing his presentation tomorrow, so Jim was trying to get more studying done. But Steve distracted Jim. Steve was very mad that Jim had knocked him down a peg or two, and broke his tooth. So Steve was going to try to ruin Jim's life. Jim didn't care, because Steve was nothing compared to Draal and Bular, who wanted to end Jim's life. Jim just couldn't figure out which one wanted to kill him more than the other. After Senor Uhl gave a student an F, and that student ran out of the classroom. The school bell rang and everyone left the classroom. Senor Uhl said to Jim before he left with his friends. "Mr. Lake, I look forward to your presentation tomorrow."

"Yeah. I'm ready." Jim said nervously. As they were leaving school, Jim saw Claire. He walked up to her and said. "Hey, Claire! Hey! You know, I got this Spanish exam coming up. Muy importante. And I was… I was looking for someone to help me out–"

"And I was looking for my scene partner at last night's rehearsal."

"Oh, man, the play! I wasn't–"

"I don't know what you've got going on, but this play is pretty important to me. My family's coming, and if you make me look like an idiot up there—"

"Claire, I'm sorry. I promise I won't—"

"Just be there tomorrow. And, by the way, I know Steve is a jerk, but there are better ways to finish a fight than punching someone in the face."

"Oh, like what you did?" Seth said as he walked up to them. Toby and Noah walked up to Jim and Seth walked up to Claire. "Hey, I tried to stop that fight." Claire said to Seth and Seth said to Claire. "Yeah, getting pushed away by Steve really helped stop the fight."

"Hey I didn't see you do anything."

"Because I was keeping my brother back."

"Why does that matter?"

"If my brother joined that fight, then Steve would have received more than just a broken tooth, and Jim and Noah would have gotten in a lot of trouble." Seth said as Jim, Noah and Toby saw that Seth and Claire were starting to get mad. Noah got in between them and said. "Ok, that's enough. Seth, we have somewhere to be right now. And Claire yesterday is already done. So both of you let this go, please?"

"Fine." They said together and they both moved away from one another. After all of that, Jim, Noah, Seth and Toby returned to Bagdwella Shop in Trollmarket. There Blinky said to them as he walked over to something covered in a sheet. "Remember when I told you all Trollhunters must start small?" Blinky then removed the sheet and showed them a machine that looked like a troll's mouth. removed the sheet and showed them a machine that looked like a troll's mouth. Noah said to Blinky. "What's that?"

"Bad idea." Aaarrrgghh said before Blinky opened the machine and pushed Jim into it. Jim then said to Blinky. "Wait a minute. So, how does going into this thing help me get a gnome out of a hole?"

"If a gnome won't come out, the Trollhunter must go in." Blinky said as he locked Jim into the machine. Seth then said to Blinky and Noah put on the Twin-Soul Driver. "How does this machine help Jim get a gnome out of a hole?"

"We used the Furgolator to compress minerals. So it should shrink Master Jim, so he could enter that hole." Blinky said as he started up the machine. Jim then said to Blinky. "Should?"

"We've never used it on flesh and bones. But I'm not concerned."

"Well, that's because you are not the one trapped in this thing." Jim said and they all finally figured out why Aaarrrgghh said this was a bad idea. Noah then said to Blinky. "But what if something goes wrong in there?"

"Don't worry Master Noah. We work best under pressure." Blinky said as the machine started to do its job. Everyone started to freak out when the machine started to create a lot of steam, rumbling and making weird sounds. Aaarrrgghh and Noah tried to open the machine, but it was bolted shut. It only opened when it was done. Jim then said to everyone. "That didn't work. I hope you have a plan B."

"There is no need for a plan B." Seth said as Jim noticed that he was the size of the gnome. As Toby picked Jim up, Blinky said to Noah. "See. I told you it would work. Now, Master Noah. It is your turn."

"Actually, Seth has a different idea. You ready bro?" Noah said and Seth nodded. Seth took out a brown disk and put it into the Driver. The Driver then said. "Gnome!"

"Gnome? Your plan is to use the power of a vermin to stop that vermin?" Blinky said before Seth said as Gnome appeared in Noah's Driver. "No. The Gnome Jewel lets us use earth to fight. And Noah uses Guardian."

"Ok?" Noah said as he pulled out the Guardian Jewel and put it into the Driver. The Driver then said. "Gnome Guardian!"

"Henshin!" Noah said as he overlapped them, transformed into Soul and Seth fainted into Aaarrrgghh arms. Soul left side was now brown and the red in the shield was now brown. Noah then said to Seth as he put the shield onto their back. "So what now?"

"Watch." Seth said as took a rock in Soul's right hand. He then started to spine it with his left hand. Once the spinning stopped the rock had turned into a little golem of Soul current mode. It even had the same colors as Soul, but the eyes were just black. Toby then said to Soul. "Whoa, you can make action figures."

"No Toby. Gnome has an unusual power. We can make golems out of rocks, but the golem is the size of the rock we used and will complete an object we have given. Also they will destroy themselves after the job is done and they don't have a mind. So they might destroy themselves before they even finch the job. Like this." Seth said as he put the first golem down and made another one. But this one was shaped like Toby and its eyes were black too. Seth then said to the Toby golem. "Walk over there." Seth pointed to an area with the hole. The Toby golems eyes let up and it started to walk to that area, but it didn't climb down from Soul hand. It walked out of Soul hand and fell to the ground. When it hit the ground it made the sound of a broken pot. Toby then put Jim next to the golem and Jim said. "You know you could have told us about your power Seth. Because now I can't take exams, or do the house chores."

"Hey, your job right now is catching a gnome. Golem, protect Jim until he gets his amulet back."

"Well good luck Jim." Noah said as the golem eye let up. As the golem led the way, Jim followed, but he was not happy. The hole had all kinds of things the Rouge Gnome had stolen from Bagdwella. The golem was looking around and had its shield ready to go. Blinky then said into the hole. "Oh, one last thing to know when dealing with a gnome, Master Jim, and this is of dire importance: Do not touch its hat."

"Of course. It's right there in A Brief Recapitulation." Jim said as the hole echoed his voice out to them. Noah turned to Blinky and said. "Is that real in the book?"

"Yes. I'm so proud of Master Jim for reading the book." Blinky said before Jim said. "I didn't read the book! Nothing in this world makes sense!"

"Jim calm down and focus on the gnome." Seth said as Jim had almost reached the Rouge Gnome home. Once he got there, he saw the Rogue Gnome, who looked bigger to him now, talking to the skeleton and using Jim's amulet at a table for their food and drinks. But since one was a skeleton, the Rogue Gnome was the only one doing anything. The Rogue Gnome made a toast, but that knocked the head of the skeleton off and caused Jim to be spotted by the Rogue Gnome. The Rogue Gnome attacked Jim, but the golem. The golem was able to keep the Rogue Gnome away from Jim, who was able to grab his amulet. When Jim touched his amulet, and then it shrunk too. However when it landed in Jim's arms, the golem broke down. The Rogue Gnome then started to attack Jim, causing Jim's amulet to fall out of Jim's hands. Blinky then said to Jim as things started to sound bad inside the hole. "Are you all right, Master Jim?"

"No! The golem has just broken down."

"Oh, no. We got to be more specific with the order. Don't worry Jim. Help is on the way." Noah said as he grabbed another rock. He tried to spin it, but nothing happened. Toby then said to them. "What's wrong? Can't you make another golem?"

"Well?" Seth said and Noah said. "What did you not tell us?"

"Making a golem takes a lot of Gnomes power. So it can only make two golems. And if we do make two golems, we can't use a Final Attack ether. Sorry." Seth said, causing Noah to get angry. Noah gapped his neck and said. "You wasted a golem and 1/3 of Gnome power on a demonstration!?"

"You know you're choking yourself right?" Seth said as Noah let go of his neck. Seth said and Noah stopped choking himself. Back in the hole. Jim grabbed the Rogue Gnome, but he touched his hat. They then heard Jim say. "Oh, my God."

"What's wrong Jim?" Seth said before Jim said. "I touched his hat!" Fun fact, under a gnome's hat is a very pointy horn and only a gnome can take it off. If someone takes it off, like Jim just did, then the gnome would have to take swift vengeance against that someone. As the Rogue Gnome attacked Jim wildly. Jim dodge the Rogue Gnome and doved throws his amulet. But the Rogue Gnome stopped Jim from reaching his amulet. As the Rogue Gnome pulled Jim close to him. Jim said as he reached for his amulet. "For the glory of Merlin, Daylight is mine to command!" Jim was able to touch his amulet and it equipped the armor onto Jim and things went quiet. This worried everyone outside and Toby said. "Why hasn't he come out?"

"I don't know." Seth said as they heard the Rogue Gnome chattering. Soon they all saw Jim, wearing the gnomes hat, and pointing his sword at the Rogue Gnome, who had his hand tied behind his back. Blinky laughed and said. "You summoned the armor and caught the gnome! Well played, Master Jim!"

"Thank you, thank you. I don't want to forget the little people." Jim said as Soul grabbed a bag and put the Rogue Gnome into it. Noah said to Jim as he put the hat into the bag and closed it. "Nice joke."

"Oh, my hero!" Bagdwella said as they all clapped. Jim then said to Blinky. "And what about this shrinking stuff? When does it wear off?"

"Don't worry. Sleep it off. By morning, you'll be as good as new." Blinky said as Noah undid his transformation. Seth woke up and said to Jim. "Nice job, Jim "the Gnome Slayer."

"Good moniker, Master Seth. But to earn that moniker. Master Jim must finish the fight." Blinky said as Noah picked him up and gave the bag to Seth. Jim looked at Blinky and said. "And by "finish"..."

"Kill." Aaarrrgghh said and Blinky agreed with him. That worried Jim, and Noah saw that. So Noah said to Blinky and Aaarrrgghh. "We'll finish it later. Jim needs to rest after all."

"Ok, but don't waste too much time on this matter." Blinky said and they nodded yes. They all left Trollmarket with the gnome and went to Toby house. There Jim and Toby were on Toby's bed and Noah and Seth were standing next to them. In the middle of them all was the Rogue Gnome. Noah said to Jim. "So are you going to finish the fight?"

"No, because I'm not a killer."

"But I am." Toby said and they all looked at him. Seth then said to Toby. "Ok, I hate to ask, but who did you kill?"

"Detective Snuggles. Nana warned me not to leave my chocolate lying around. But it was just after Easter, and I had pulled in a big haul. I never thought that cat would find my stash. But he did. And by the time I found him, it was too late."

"Death by chocolate. There are worse ways to go." Jim said before Toby said. "That wasn't the worst of it."

"I hate to ask, but what's the worst part?" Noah said before Toby said. "I have had the heart to tell Nana, so, to cover up the murder, I used to eat his cat food just to make it look like he was still around. And I liked it."

"Oh, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross. I'm out of here." Seth said as he left the room. Noah said to them, before he followed Seth. "Ok. Jim, we'll tell your mom that you are studying and sleeping over with Toby. And I don't care who, just take care of the gnome. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." Jim said as he started to fall asleep. Noah left and Toby picked up the bag with the Rogue Gnome. Toby then whispered to Jim as he took the Rogue Gnome out of the room. "Go to bed, Tiny Jim. By morning rise, the dark deed will be done and my soul will be damned."

"I can't get that image out of my head." Seth said as he and Noah entered their room. In the room they started to hear cracks starting to form. They looked around and saw the egg, which was on the desk, was hatching. Once the shell fell off, a dark-blue light transformed into a backpack size bat with a spot of a Soul Jewel Disk in the center of the body and it looked like it was sleeping. Noah looked at the bat and said. "Seth what is this?"

"This is a Soul Gadget. An object that is made when you mix the shards of a Soul Jewel and one or more objects together in water."

"I see why the stranger called them recipes. So what does this one do? I'm guessing communication?"

"Not only that, but surveillance too. Just watch." Seth said as he pulled out the dark-blue disk and placed it in the disk area. "Bat!" The gadget said and it turned into a big bat. Once it was inside, the bat's eyes opened and they saw it glowing dark-blue. It then started to fly around the room before landing back on the desk. Noah looked at Seth and said. "That didn't prove anything. It just fell around for a few seconds."

"It just woke up. I need to give it orders to use it." Seth said as he walked up to the bat and said. "Bat, I need one Surveillance Bat?" The bat nodded and closed its wings. When it opened its wings, a small bat that looked like the big bat. It flew to Seth and Noah said, looking at it. "Since you put a drone and a phone in the pot. This little bat can be both communication and surveillance?"

"No, just surveillance. If we want communication, we need a Phone Bat."

"How do we make a Phone Bat?" Noah said and the big bat thought Noah wanted a Phone Bat. So it attacked Noah and then Noah screamed. The next morning, Jim woke up in a dollhouse and saw a giant Noah, Seth, and Toby. Toby said to Jim. "What's wrong, Tiny Jim? Did you not sleep well in Nana's dollhouse?"

"Why am I still small, guys?" Jim said and Noah said to Jim as he helped him to the bed. "Best idea, stuff works differently on trolls than it does on humans. Jim then noticed the empty bag and said to Toby. "Oh, my gosh. The gnome! You did it? I told you I was supposed to–"

"I think you have bigger problems than the gnome." Seth said and Jim figured out what he meant. "Oh, no! School!"

"We have to call you in sick." Toby said, looking around for a phone. Seth stopped him and said. "Will that work?"

"No, Senor Uhl can sniff out a lie a mile away." Jim said and Noah said. "Don't worry I have an idea." Noah said as he ran out of the room. They didn't know what Noah was thinking, but it had something to do with Soul. How did they know that? Because the Twin-Soul Driver appeared around Seth wasted. Seth got the idea, and then put in Gnome and fell onto the hard floor. Noah then appeared as Soul; Gnome Fighter mode, with a Jim golem about Jim regular size and colors and the Bat Gadget.

Noah put down the golem and said to the golem. "Golem, you will do everything this man does until Jim is full size again." Noah picked up Jim and pointed at him. The golem eyes let up and started to move just like Jim. As Noah put Jim down and turned back to normal. Jim then moved around and the golem copied his movement. After Noah undid the transformation, Seth got off the floor and Noah said to Jim and Toby. "Now for the voice and eyes. Seth and I will use our new phones and our Surveillance Bat." Noah said as he pulled out a purple flip phone, Seth pulled out a red flip phone and their only Surveillance Bat. Toby looked at them and said. "Why do you have flip phones and not smartphones?"

"Because they can't do this?" Seth said as he and Noah threw them into the air. Both of their phones turned into bats and flew around the room with the Surveillance Bat. Jim and Toby both looked at them and Toby said to Noah and Seth. "Oh, can I have one?"

"Later. Bat makes them, but it needs time to recharge. Also, it might hurt a little." Seth said before Noah said showing them the bite mark on his neck. "It hurt more then a little." Toby then said to Seth. "By the way? Its name is Bat?"

"Do you have a better idea for a name?"

"Yeah, how about Mama Bat or M.B. for short." Toby said and all of the bats made a noise that they all liked that name. Noah then said to them. them. "I like it. Ok! Now Jim, here's my plan."

"Lay it on me." Jim said and Noah told Jim his plan. The plan was simple, using M.B. and the Surveillance Bat, Jim was able to see where the Jim golem was going and using the Phone Bats so Jim could talk and hear. That worked for all of his other classes and the last class with Senor Uhl was going to be the real test. During Senor Uhl class, it was Jim's turn. As Jim gave his speech, but halfway through the speech. Jim started to run around the room, while still giving the speech. Noah grabbed Toby and said. "Did you forget to tell us something?"

"Uh? I tried to kill the gnome last night, but couldn't and put him inside one of my Nana's pet animals boxes. And I put it under my bed for the time being."

"So Jim is being attacked by the gnome!?" Noah said as the golem started to push for a few seconds before starting up again. Toby then said to Seth. "What's wrong with the golem?"

"Jim must be returning to his normal size." Seth said as Noah got up and said to them. "Then let's get that golem out of here." They all got up and grabbed the golem. "We'll take him to the nurse office Senor Uhl."

"Hold on a second!" Senor Uhl said as they all ran out of the room and the golem shared. After they brush off the dust, they all run back to Toby's room. There, they saw Jim back to normal size looking at the dollhouse. Toby said as he gave Jim a hug. "Jim! You're okay! And big!"

"I think my spleen switched sides, but everything's better now." Jim said as he moved around a little. Noah looked around and said. "Where is that Gnome?" Jim pointed at the dollhouse. Inside they all saw the gnome having a Nougat Nummy with a female action figure that Toby owns. Jim then said to them. "I thought he was attacking me, but all he wanted was a home. Look! He's even found a friend."

"I hate to ask, but what about Rule 2?" Noah said as the gnome started to play his gatuar. Jim looked at them and said. "Blinky said we needed to "take care of him", but what if we, like, take care of him? I know it's not exactly the second rule to Trollhunting, but, for this one maybe we do it in our own way, without the murdering."

"Ok. We can keep him, but what are we going to call him?" Noah said before Toby said. "I already have a name. Gnome Chompsky."

"Chompsky. I like it." Jim said and Noah and Seth agreed with Toby. As Chompsky got closer to his soon-to-be girlfriend, Jim said as he closed the dollhouse. Jim then said to them. "Pretty good for a first mission."

"Really? Besides Chompsky, you have most likely failed your Spanish exam and in case you forget. You have Play Rehearsal today." Noah said and Jim totally forgot about the Play Rehearsal today. So Jim went back to school as quickly as he could. There he learned that Steve was now the understudy for Romeo. Later that night, at the museum. Strickler walked in with an apple and a box. Bular walked up to him and said. "You're late."

"And you're impatient. I was waiting for another package to arrive." Strickler said as Bular took the box. Strickler caught the apple and Bular opened the box, which had another piece of the bridge. Bular walked to the bridge and the piece started to glow and then flew to the bridge. It found the spot it was meant to go to and connected to that spot. Stickler then said as he and Bular looked at the bridge, which was half way done. "Killahead Bridge will soon be complete. Our man from Germany will be arriving with more pieces soon."

"And my father will know freedom and glory."

"Hey! What are you doing here?" The museum guard said as he entered the room. The guard saw them and Bular said, looking at Strickler. "You were followed?"

"Of course not. I brought you a midnight snack." Strickler said, looking at his apple. Bular turned to the guard and the guard figured out that he was Bular's midnight snack. So the guard ran away for his life, but that didn't stop Bular or Strickler from enjoying their midnight snacks.
