After making sure her father was indeed at work, Jordan saw her father's camera system and took a pair of pliers and cut the cords deactivating them so she wouldn't get caught. She went to her room and grabbed a duffle bag and just started throwing clothes into it. Once the clothes were in the bag she went down to her father's safe in the basement.
She'd watch her father put in the code a million times and done exactly that opening it and grabbing as much money as she could. Something in her head told her to stop but when her father's word came back echoing him treating her as a suspect she was even more driven to take what she could.
"You wanna say and treat me like a suspect dad, so be it" Jordan muttered, clearing out half of the safe. She closed it after grabbing what she needed.
She ran back upstairs and grabbed a note pad and pen scribbling some words on it. Her eyes read over the words they didn't feel like her words but someone else's.
-I'm sorry you got such a screw up for a daughter. Don't come looking for me, I can take care of myself.
The teen had quickly blinked her eyes hiding back from the tears in her eyes, reaching into her pocket she put everything on the table her father would use to track her. Her phone, debit card, anything electronic. Anything she knew Mouse could track her on GPS. Once she had everything she needed and left everything behind she walked out the house locking the door behind her. Walking down the concrete stairs she simply turned back at the house she grew up in, the house she had memories of her father and older brother. Memories of her once happy life. But the memories were gone when Justin died.
"Goodbye dad" She muttered.
A car sped up on the street and it was Johnny, Jordan turned smiling as she went over. Johnny smiled leaning over to kiss her. "You ready?" He asked her.
"More than ready, let's get out of here" Jordan told him tossing the bags in the back and hopping in the passenger seat.
Johnny then sped off taking down ths streets as Jordan buckled in, she had taken his hand into hers and oddly to the teen it felt right. She noticed he was starting to drive out of the city.
"Where are we going, Johnny?" Jordan asked.
"New York. I'll take care of you now Jordan. I'll always be here for you and no matter what happens I'll always love you"
A wobbly smile had appeared on Jordan's lips as she leaned over and kissed Johnny. "Let's go start our new lives together"
With those words Johnny pressed harder on the gas speeding out of the city.
Meanwhile
Hank was at the district and heavily distracted from the case at hand by his daughter and her new reckless attitude and behavior. Not being able to handle it he got up and grabbed his jacket going home walking out past his team, none of them dared to say a word not without receiving some kind of backlash. Whatever was going on between Hank and his daughter they weren't getting involved.
Except Erin. She grabbed her own jacket and ran out following Hank. "Hank, hold up"
"Erin, I can handle this. I don't need help" Hank told her.
"I've been where Jordy is, to shut out people, to let my grief take over and turn me into someone I didn't know. And if like you said she's using and drinking I can try to help her, I did the same things after Nadia. I can relate to her"
"I'm losing her Erin, I can't lose her too. First Camille, my first daughter, Anna, and now Justin. I can't lose Jordan too" Hank's voice cracked when he mentioned all the people he lost.
"You won't lose her, I promise. Come on, we'll go talk to her and get her some help"
All Hank could do was nod and they left the district going to Hank's house, the entire time the older man felt something was very wrong. Something wasn't right. He could feel it in his gut. When they pulled up to his house he didn't waste any time he rushed inside unlocking the door and went inside.
"Jordan?! Jordan!" Hank called for his daughter.
When he was met by utter silence he started searching the house, he ran up to her room and saw half her clothes were gone, her duffle bag was gone. His heart raced faster as he searched Justin's old room on top of his and she wasn't there. Erin was in the kitchen when she saw the note on the table and picked it up reading it, her hand covered her mouth.
"Hank! Hank!" Erin called out distressed.
At his name being called, the older man had hauled down the stairs to the kitchen to see Erin holding a note, her hand shaking. The words she said made everything stop and freeze.
"Jordan's gone"
