AU:In another time in the galaxy, Anakin and Padme' are good friends and both are Jedi. However, Anakin married Sabe' Amidala whom he met many years ago. But Padme' is secretly in love with him. But things begin to unravel in the galaxy as the end of the war draws near. Anakin must make a choice, between the two women who love him and saving the galaxy from the darkness.

When their mission to Zygerria goes awry, Anakin agrees to stay with the Zygerrian Queen. The Queen stays true to her word, and lets his friends leave. Before they go, she makes sure to fake Anakin's death so no one comes looking for her new pet. Obi-Wan and Padmé have tried to move on. Ahsoka hasn't. No matter how much people insist, she knows her master is still out there.

Padmé wasn't sure what she thought she could accomplish. If Obi-Wan was telling the truth, then it may all be too late. But she still foolishly hoped their love would be enough- she would be enough to bring him back. But this wasn't a lovesick fairy tale. This was reality, and the dark side's hold was too strong. It overpowered their love, breaking her heart. They need balance.

It was a shock to them all, then, when he took one step onto the boarding ramp of the Falcon and collapsed.
