"Going a bit overboard aren't you?" he asked Sam as he landed near the barn.

Sam jumped a little at his words almost dropping a party lantern, "Don't do that," she nearly shrieked as she calmed herself down, " Martha insisted that we decorate."

Alex looked around and smiled, " Okay it looks nice and all but you know the girls are going to be more into the cake and ice cream right?"

"Yeah, but she's not been able to throw birthday parties since Clark hit his teens and grew out of them plus it's her granddaughter and her friend, so she wanted to make them happy."

"Yeah that's true we may be adding another, Dinah asked for a child because she can't we are just waiting for the answer on who the father will be," Alex said while walking to the door to the Kent home to see if he could get a drink.

Sam shook her head as she watched him go before returning to putting up decorations, after a few minutes he came back out and helped her hang a few stands of lights between the house and barn.

"I just remembered that I have to go to the Plane's Market for a few things Gramps set up for me," Alex told Sam was floating up to the ridge of the barn with the end of the string of lights.

"Do you need me to come along?" she asked as she plugged the lights into an extension cord coming from the kitchen window.

"Not really, I don't know if I can return directly here if we all go and have to go to the next world, with you here I can simply enter the house and come back through your connection," he told her as she handed him another strand of lights and pointed to the ridge of the barn again.

Alex flew up and connected it to the ridge as Sam went to another corner of the house to plug it into another extension cord.

"Yeah if we disappear before the party Stephanie will be very unhappy," Sam said while she was looking around to see if there was something left to put up.

Alex looked around and nodded, "I don't plan on being long just going to see what there is to see and or buy if I even have the currency for that."

"You told me that the traveler said Gramps set you up with an account and left two power tickets, so go on over and see what they have but save those things for later on after we talk about it," Sam said while hugging him.

Alex smiled and hugged her back, " Yeah I know you just want to go shopping with Karen and empty my account."

"Yep," she said letting him go and stepping back.

"Okay, I will be back soon," Alex said while trying to focus on the Plane's Market and willed himself to it, with a bright multi-colored flash he disappeared.

He reappeared in a white room with a desk which had a woman behind the desk, "Welcome to the Plane's Market, this is our customs service for your first entry, please place your hand on the handprint for identification and background."

Alex looked around while listening to the woman then looked at the handprint that was glowing blue, extending his hand he touched the print and felt it heat up for a second.

"Ohh my, welcome sir we've been expecting you to visit the Market," the woman exclaimed with a fair amount of respect in her voice now instead of the board tone she first spoke with.

"Umm, thanks?" Alex said while looking confused by her change in attitude.

"Ohh I'm sorry, but your father's and grandparents are well-known here in the Market, especially your grandparents they've allowed us to build and expand the market in the infinite between," she said excitedly.

"Ohh okay, they never mentioned it to me the few times I've spoken to them but Gran said she'll be visiting my home from time to time, all I was told was that I have an account here."

"Yes I'll have your identification cards for you your mate and your child, once you have those you will be able to access the market from your house and receive deliveries from here as well but you will need to come in to make deposits into your vault from there you can separate items into keep and sell, I must warn you that the banking system is run by goblins similar to those of the Harry Potter variety," she told him.

"Cranky but slightly friendy or just plain rude and don't like wasted time?" he asked while trying to remember more about the goblins.

"The second one, we couldn't find a group of the friendly type to come and work for us," she informed him while laying three cards on the desk.

"Okay, I will be careful then," he told her as he picked up the cards, "Anything else I should know?"

"Umm yes, the bank manager is your account manager and will take a month to see if you need to have a meeting with him, other than that the market is a neutral zone so no fighting outside designated places."

Alex nodded before putting the cards in his hammerspace, "I don't think I'll need to see him often, I'm just here to see what the place is like and check out a few things before bringing Sam and Karen here."

"Yes Sir and thank you for your visit you are now cleared entry," she told him as a door formed on the wall behind her.

"Thank you, one question though is this your job?"

"No it's a rotation this week is my week for the year and most of the time we only get one or two newcomers maybe once or twice a month, my main job is whatever I want to do as long as I am qualified for."

Alex nodded then moved to the door, "We'll be coming back when we get to our next reality so this is just a fact-finding trip."

"Ahh that is nice maybe I will see you around, I should have told you this but the market is a big mall-like place so we have it all and I mean that literally if you can afford it then you'll be able to get it somewhere in the market."

He smiled and waved at her as he stepped through the door, on the other side he found himself coming through an arch similar to that of the one leading into Diagonally.

Looking around the first thing he saw was what looked like Gringots only it was gold instead of white marble, walking toward the bank he looked around to find that the place did indeed seem to have everything.

Walking up the stairs he noticed the guards tense up at his approach for a second before relaxing, the door opened at his approach to reveal that the inside of the bank was modern with computers with the goblins working in cubicles along the walls while there were lines of people waiting for a teller to be freed up.

It took fifteen minutes for a taller to be open for him to speak with him, "Card?" the goblin demanded.

Alex handed over his card and had to stop himself from laughing at the goblin when he looked from the card to Alex and nearly jumped out of his seat.

"Reason for your visit?"

"Checking my vault."

The goblin nodded, "Step into the circle to your right and you'll find yourself in your vault, be aware that this is a one time use transfer, if you have a home a circle of transfer shall be added to allow you and those you chose to enter your vault," the goblin said while handling the card back.

Alex took the card back and stepped into the circle, after a blink he found himself in a well-lit room.

The room had a table that held some papers and a few other things that he didn't understand, past the table was a large pile of coins.

Alex looked at the table closely and found the two tickets on top of notes.

'Alex these tickets are usable in any power store, they are limited to the level of Earth-bound God, the money here is beyond your power to copy, and by the time you're able to make copies of it, you won't need it anymore.'

'Gramps'

'Hey kid these things are just some stuff we don't need anymore, most of it is technology from one reality or another, and some of it is useful if you copy it for selling in worlds or trade in the market.'

'Walker and Traveler.'

"Okay I'll let Sam look at these," he said to himself making copies of the tech and smiling.

A lightsaber, Omni tool, a shrunken enterprise nx01, and a copy of a white star from Babylon 5, he also learned how to shrink the ships.

"Yeah, she's going to so squeal when I show her these,"

Looking around for anything else he found a separate bench and table on another wall, the table was lined with grids, "Must be the sales thing that lady was talking about."

Creating a few bikes and weapons he spread them out one in each grid and shrank the bikes down to toy-size.

Alex stepped back and watched the table as numbers began flashing in front of the things he put out and smiled.

"Okay that works I'll have to come back to add more stuff later," he told himself as he looked over the table and saw several places marked with blood drop symbols.

'Power and bloodline sales.' was written under the grids.

Thinking for a moment he lay his hand on one of the grids and focused on the upgraded Kryptonian power, the grid began to glow for a few seconds before it faded to reveal a red blue, and yellow symbol of the house of El floating in the grid.

Almost immediately the numbers started to flash within seconds they reached the millions, confused over the fast rise of the numbers he looked closely at the grid and found a description of the powers to the side of the symbol.

'An upgraded version of the Kryptonian bloodline that has had weaknesses removed as well as coming with the ability to turn the power on and off.'

Alex nodded then he remembered that he had the pattern of the Martian bioship, returning to the items-selling grid he formed a ship and put it in a grid stepped back to look around more, and found a panel on the wall beside the bench.

Looking at the panel he found that it was a request and job board, there were a large number of requests for things that he knew nothing about or requests for help in a reality.

"Yeah maybe later on right now we are too new to all of this," he said stepping away from the panel.

Alex finally walked to the piles of coins picked one up and felt it out finding that the coin was not gold but something that he couldn't identify, putting the coin back he turned when the sales bench dinged only to see one of the bikes disappear to be replaced by a small pile of coins that floated to join the other pile.

Alex shrugged before returning to looking around but found nothing else to see, he walked around to the circle to find a flickering circle beside the one he came through.

'Market return deposits the passengers in the market central square.' Was written inside the circle.

Shrugging he stepped into the circle to the market, he found himself back to where he first appeared after talking to the woman who greeted him.

Looking around for a second time he found a building that looked like a bar from an adventure world, walking to it and through the door he found that he was right about thinking that it was an adventure bar as it had many tables in the center and on one side was a drinks and food area, across from that was what looked like a sales stall with man men and women of all kinds talking to people.

Walking to the bar he found a seat to sit on and waited for a server to come to him.

"What can I get ya?" A large man asks stepping across from Alex.

"Coke and information on the place I'm new to all this, " Alex told the man who nodded.

After getting the drink the man began to speak, "The market is a place for Dimensional travelers and the like to buy sell, or trade items or get help in a reality that may be above what they can handle that card they gave you when you got here acts as I.D. and a debit card to pay for the amenities, that's about it, the stores and bars are run by retired people who have grown tired of the world hoping."

Alex nodded as he passed over his card to pay for the drink, " Thanks all the goblin said was to step into the circle to get to my vault."

As Alex finished speaking a group of people began to argue about something as they were looking at floating screens in front of them.

"Oi no fightin, if you're gonna fight take it to the arena," the barman shouted over the group.

"But Tom someone's put up a new power set and I just lost my bid to this jerk just before the timer ran out and I needed that for my next jump, I'm going to the injustice reality in a few days," a skinny looking man said while the brutish man at the same table was grinning.

"Don't matter this ain't a place for fightin," the now-named Tom yelled back causing the man to shrink back.

Alex's card flashed just before he put it away, looking at it curiously so focused he jumped when Tom spoke up.

"The flash means you got a deposit in your vault from someone buyin something you put up for sale, look on the back it'll tell you how much was added."

Alex flipped the card over and nearly dropped it when he saw the numbers, 'Ten million deposited.'

"Umm that's a bit much for something I got mostly for free," Alex mumbled to himself.

"What was that?" Tom asked as he returned his attention to Alex.

"Nothing, I just sold a motorcycle and a couple of weapons to see how the system works, and the bike sold for a few thousand," Alex waved it off.

"Depends on what it can do, regular motorcycles go from a few hundred to about a thousand," Tom said.

"The one I sold was electric it'll charge by a solar skin with a helmet that hooks into the local GPS network," Alex said before taking a drink.

"That'll do it, no need to refuel and a quick map in a modern world can sometimes make a person safer in some situations," Tom said with a smile.

Alex shrugged "I've got a few more set to sell."

Tom nodded then walked off to fill another customer's order, Alex sat there for a minute watching the patrons.

After a few minutes sipping his drink, he stood from the bar, waving back to Tom as he left, feeling he knew enough for now he found an open place to open the door to the house he stepped in and nearly stumbled on a body laying on the floor.

Looking down he saw Powergirl but she was different in body size then it hit him, he had fixed the flaws in the cloning process the scientists had made, and now she looked like an exact copy of Kara in an oversized suit.

Closing the door he scooped her up and carried her to the couch and lay her down, after that, he turned to the door and opened it to find the party was just about ready to start.

"Sam I need you for a minute," he called out getting her attention and that of a few others.

"Give me a minute," she called back.

Alex smiled as he watched the few people already there mingling with each other then he saw Dinah playing with Karen and Stephanie with a large smile on her face and a few tears held back in her eyes.

"Dinah, can you join us?" he called out after thinking it was time to give her options for a child.

Diana swooped in and took over playing with the girls and pushed Dinah toward the door, stumbling from the push she walked to him joined by Sam.

The two entered the house, Alex closed the door and followed them to sit in the living room and nearly bumped into them as they stopped upon seeing the teen girl unconscious on the couch.

Sam slowly turned to look at him confusion in her eyes, "Care to explain?" she asked with some strain in her voice.

Alex gulped slightly, "I was flying to Gotham and she kinda snuck up on me, she's a clone of Kara but the process was flawed, Luther somehow got her blood and had her made, there was some kind of control chip in her brain, I think it also allowed people to watch through her eyes because not long after I told her about being a clone the chip began to hurt her and then Luther showed up and went all superior on me after I fixed her up and took out the chip."

Sam looked back to the girl on the couch, "How many clones has that madman made?"

"I don't know, Superman's got the bat and Question looking into it," Alex said while watching Dinah walk to her and brush her hair off of her face.

"Okay but what do we do now?"

"There is the problem she is a direct copy of Kara, they can't exist in the same world for long or they'll start seeing each other's memories and through the eyes as well, or at least that's what I know from the comics they may not have that problem now after I fixed her up."

"We'll see about it later, Dinah have you decided on a father?" Sam asked while Alex threw a pellet on Powergirl that copied her suit and covered her in a properly fitting set of clothes.

"No, I think it would start some trouble with someone, Clark and Lois did say that they wouldn't mind," Dinah said while fighting tears.

Alex smiled then lay a hand on her shoulder, "You're not going to cause trouble with them if you don't want a child with Clark you can decide later we are going to be back in a few weeks to a month and I will have other potential fathers that can't make trouble for you."

Dinah looked up and nodded, "I can wait, can you give me an idea of the possibilities?"

Alex shook his head, "No we don't know where we will be going, Sam wants to go to the world of her origin, and there are a few places I want to go to before going there."

Sam shrugged, "We can get pictures and bios on them for you to go over but if you pick a powerful one we'll most likely have to change you or you may not be able to handle the child."

Dinah could only nod, "I'll wait, Diana said I can babysit Stephanie if I don't choose to go ahead with it right now."

Sam pulled her into a hug for a second before pulling back with a smile, "I'm sure we can get you a good choice."

Alex looked on with a small smile, "I know of a few worlds where we can pick up a few samples, but I also need you to tell me if have you found any other heroines that are like you and can't bear a child."

"A few, but I don't know if they want a child or not I've not talked to them about it just got their names and reasons for not being able to, I didn't want to intrude in their personal life."

Alex nodded, "That's fine everyone knows Diana couldn't have a child the normal way so it'll get out sooner or later and if they want one I'll be able to help."

Dinah didn't want to be a problem just for a child of her own and fought herself to not just go with a child with Clark, "I'll keep an eye and ear out for the others."

Alex nodded as Sam gave a gentle squeeze, " Alright, go get Karen's attention we need to figure out what to do with Powergirl, can you send Clark and Kara in it's up to them."

Dinah smiled at the mention of the bundle of cuteness and nodded, "Yeah I could use some cuteness therapy right now," she said before walking to the door to leave the house.

"Clark, Kara Alex needs to talk to you two," Dinah called out as she went to find Karen.

Clark looked up from his animated conversation with Lois and Chloe who was smiling with a real smile.

Clark and Kara crossed the yard to get to the door to the house, when they entered the house they both stopped at saw Powergirl lying on the couch.

"Another Lex special," Alex said before telling the two what he knew.

"So I have a sister?" Kara asked with a hint of hope.

"It's possible but we don't know how being in the same reality will react to there being two of you here," Alex told the teen hero, " I want to take her with us until we come back, a night isn't enough time to see how the reality will react so we'll need at least a week to see if it'll do anything."

"How is she right now?" Clark asked with concern in his voice.

"She is fine so far, the change was more of a shock to her system than what happened with Kara, I rewrote her DNA to fix what was broken."

Sam had gone to get a blanket to cover her, "Why was her costume so revealing?"

"They didn't have a sample of Kryptonian cloth to make her suit so the more skin she could show the more sunlight she could absorb," Clark said while making a mental note to have the Fortress make a few sets of basic uniforms to give out to Stephanie, Lois, Conner, and Chloe.

"That and some of the scientists were geeks and perverts, they couldn't touch her so they used the suit to be able to get a view of her," Alex told them, and seeing Kara shiver he nodded, "Yeah that's not a good thing but I'm also guessing on that part."

"Okay, so are you just going to take her or wait for her to wake up?" Clark asked as he watched the girl sleep.

"Oh she can hear us just fine just right now she is in a healing sleeplike state," Alex said while walking to the kitchen to get a drink.

"Sunlight," Sam suddenly said before running to the door and turning a dial until the window changed to a view of a grassy plane, "move the couch here under the window it'll help."

Clark and Kara picked up the couch and put it near the window, Powergirl moved in her sleep to face the window.

Alex returned and nodded, "Didn't think of that."

"We'll leave her here for the night," Sam said before turning to the door, "Let's go back to the party and check up on her later."

Nodding the others followed her out of the house to return to the party, the children loved the attention and Conner just felt more like part of the whole.

When it came to giving gifts the two little girls received many toys and other items, Clark and Lois gave them a present each.

Lois gave them dolls that she had a few of the tech-savvy heroes help her build that would talk to and play with them, they also acted like nanny cameras and let the parents know if they were needed.

Clark gave them suits made of Kryptonian cloth, when they touched the clothes their bio suits absorbed the new clothes.

The girls had fun changing their clothes into all sorts of combinations of Clark's suits when dressed as Superman.

Although Conner did receive gifts he let the two take as much attention as they could, most of his gifts would help him in the hero gig but some would be useful for school, though Megan did kiss him on the cheek and made him blush as she gave him her gift that turned out to be a few new shirts and pants, all black and the pants were cargo pants as he preferred.

The adults watched it all with smiles and when Megan kissed Conner they all had to hide their laughter at his blush.

Alex was playing with Stephanie as Dinah had monopolized Karen who was enjoying the attention, "So kiddo have you picked your super name yet?"

"Wonder Kid," Stephanie cheerfully said as her suit took on the appearance she preferred.

Alex smiled then tossed the girl up into the air and caught her before tossing her up again, "I'm sure you'll be the best Wonder Kid ever."

"Yeah, momma said she is gonna teach me to fight and protect people's."

"That'll be fun and you'll need to listen to her even if what she's teaching you gets boring," he told her as he caught her again.

"Dad said he would help teach me to with Aunty Lolo is gonna make sure they let me play," she said with a giggle.

Alex caught her again, "Yeah you're still a little too young for only studying stuff all the time," he said while tossing her up again only for her to be caught by Kara who flew off with her somewhere.

Sam came to his side and laughed as he still had his arms up to catch Stephanie, "It's almost bedtime and she's staying the night with Lois and Clark tonight," Sam said while pointing out that the others were getting ready to leave as Clark was zipping around cleaning up the yard.

"Were you able to get Dinah to relinquish Karen?"

"Yeah, when she started yawning Dinah brought her to me," Sam pointed to Karen asleep on a table cradling her new doll.

"Alright let's get to bed, we'll be moving on in the morning," Alex said while walking over to the table and picking up Karen he waited for Sam to open the door for them.

Entering the house they found Powergirl sitting up but her eyes were closed as she sat in the sunlight, "Now what?" she asked as Alex went to put Karen to bed while Sam took a seat and told her what was happening.

"We are not sure what will happen to you outside the house right now so for a few weeks you'll join us in our travel, when we return here we will see how things go," Sam after first explaining what she knew.

Alex returned and sat on the arm of the seat Sam was sitting in, "I'm going to have to warn you that we don't know what the world will do with there being two Kara's."

"And when I come back and the world doesn't like me being here?"

Sam spoke up, "Join us in traveling until you find a world that you like."

"Are you sure I'll find a place I'll like?"

"Oh yeah, I can tell you that the multiverse is infinite so there is a possibility of a place that you will like."

"Okay, I'll go with you guys, but if I can come back and stay here I'll do that," Powergirl said after a few minutes of thought.

Alex and Sam smiled, "Of course, the only reason we are taking you with us is because we want you to be safe and able to travel to find a place to call home if you can't stay here."

"Now let's get you to a bedroom, you need actual sleep," Sam said while walking to the door to return the window view to the Kent farm.

"You can change the window in the room to give you more sunlight," Sam told her as she turned back to the two pulling Powergirl from the couch to lead her to the spare room connected to Karen's.

Alex went to their room and began getting ready for bed, soon Sam joined him under the blankets, "She's going to be fun to tease from time to time, you know she is slightly crushing on you for fixing her problems."

"Okay but don't push it too far or her crush won't pass until it falls into real love, I do not want to break her heart, an angry and powerful woman can be scary," Alex said while wrapping her in his arms.

Sam nodded against his chest, "I'll try to keep it down, but it'll be nice to have a female to talk to while she's with us."

Alex shrugged the best he could, "Yeah I know there were times back in the zombie world that I did or said that upset you and it lasted longer than normal than if you had another woman to talk to."

"Yeah but I calmed down after a while, but you kept doing stupid things like trying to draw the zombies to the Grand Canyon using a guitar and ropes to hold the speaker in the center, and almost got yourself chewed on."

"Yeah not my best idea, well the idea was a good one the execution was not so much," Alex said with a chuckle.

"You should have just used the ropes and pully system to get the speaker over the center and instead of the guitar you should have used a radio so you could get away from the hoard," Sam said slapping his chest.

Alex laughed then kissed the top of her head, " Yeah but you have to admit that after you stopped being mad at me it was funny."

"Yeah that's true but you scared the hell out of me if you hadn't been able to get away from them." She said while wriggling to get comfortable. "Night."

"Night," he said closing his eyes and falling to sleep listening to her breathing even out as she fell asleep.

"Daddy there is someone that looks like Aunty Kara in my bathroom," Karen called out as she burst into the room causing him to sit up.

Alex barely kept the covers from falling off his lap, 'Got to start wearing boxers to sleep in,' he thought to himself while readjusting the covers.

"I know sweetie, she is a new friend and will be going with us for a few trips," he said while pointing to the door to his and Sam's bathroom, "Go get a shower with Mom."

"Okay," Karen chirped out and flew into the bathroom.

"Clothes off," Sam said while Karen was giggling.

Alex laughed and found his clothes forming on him, ' boxers at bedtime,' He said to his suit, getting out of bed he went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth while listening to Sam and Karen playing in the shower.

"I'm going to see if Martha has breakfast ready," Alex said while leaving the bathroom.

"Okay, we'll be out in a little while if the water critter lets me finish with her hair," Sam said while getting another giggling from Karen.

Alex laughed as he left, going to the living room he found Powergirl sitting on the couch while looking out to the barnyard a wistful look covering her face as she watched Kara and Conner leaving for school and meeting Megan at the end of the driveway.

"Yeah that's one of the downsides to having some of the memories of your original," He said while following her eyeline.

She jumped at his voice, "It's not nice to sneak up on people."

Alex chuckled, "Yeah I know but it's funny when I get a jump out of people."

"Okay just don't do it too often, and yeah it sucks, I have some of her memories but that's not the problem it's that I may not be able to live with the family that I know here," she said while looking out the window again.

Alex nodded, "I know the feeling I'm locked out of my home reality for the next few hundred to thousand years."

Powergirl turned to look at him in shock, "How can you be so calm about that?"

"Sam and now Karen," He said with a smile.

"Yeah,...Karen?" she asked just as Karen came flying into the room and attached herself to his back looking over his shoulder.

Alex pointed over his shoulder, "Karen."

"HI Karen I'm Powergirl," she said waving

"HI I'm Karen Carter, this my daddy you can't have him," Karen said while hugging him tightly.

Powergirl blushed, Sam who had entered behind Karen asked," What about me do I get to have him?"

"Sure Mommy but you gots to share him wif me," Karen chirped with a large smile.

"Hmm I'll have to think about it," Sam said with a thoughtful expression.

Alex looked from one to the other then he looked to Powergirl, "I'm beginning to feel like a belonging instead of a person."

"But you gots to share he's my daddy," Karen playfully whined.

"Yeah but he's also my... umm we never actually did decide what we were," Sam pointed out while looking at Alex.

Alex shrugged, "Life partners?"

Sam pulled Karen from his back and started tickling her, "We need to figure it out and tell Daddy so he knows." she said over Karen's laughing.

"Hey! Life partner is a good description it covers all the bases," Alex says but is ignored by the two.

Powergirl sat there stunned as she watched the three until somehow Karen pulled her into the debate about what the relationship should be called between Alex and Sam.

Alex shook his head and opened the door in the normal spot against the barn, leaving the house he crossed the yard and opened the door to find Martha and Jonathan sipping coffee.

"Morning folks," Alex said as he took a seat and began to fill a plate with eggs, bacon, sausage, and fried potato slices.

"Morning, where are the girls?" Martha asked while pouring him a cup of coffee.

"Debating on my and Sam's relationship and what we are," Alex said while lifting his cup in thanks.

Jonathan looked confused, " Aren't you two married?"

"Common law, sure we've been together for long enough for that but I said life partners because it covers all the bases," Alex said after swallowing a fork full of eggs.

Martha shook her head, before picking up her coffee and leaving the kitchen through the yard door, through the window the two saw her entering the door to Alex and Sam's house.

"You know that she is going to be planning a wedding for you two while you are traveling right?" Jonathan said sipping his coffee.

Alex shrugged before taking a bite of bacon, "It's fine I've been seeing Sam thinking about something I'm just now figuring out that she wants a definite relationship status."

Jonathan nodded then went back to his meal and morning's paper, a few minutes later the women and Karen joined them with Karen taking her now usual place in Martha's lap.

"Just give me a date and I'll be there," Alex said while passing Sam the eggs and Powergirl the bacon.

Sam smiled at him as she took the eggs, "It'll be a while just don't forget that we have to stop by now and then to coordinate everything."

Alex nodded as he swapped the plates for the two, "Yeah I know and we will visit soon so that we can see how reality will treat Powergirl who by the way do you have a civilian name?" he asked turning to Powergirl who was nibbling on a slice of bacon as she waited for the potatoes.

She shook her head "I stayed in the lab, yesterday was the first time I was allowed to be outside, they kept saying that I was not stable enough until yesterday."

Martha lay a hand on her shoulder and smiled at her, "We'll get you a name."

Powergirl smiled at Martha around a fork full of eggs, Alex was scooping potatoes onto her plate until she held up a hand, " Thanks," she said after swallowing her food.

Alex nodded as he passed the plate to Jonathan who filled Karen's plate while Martha was teasing Karen with a slice of bacon.

"You're going to spoil her aren't you?" Sam asked with a smile.

"Oh most definitely, we weren't expecting grandchildren and now we have a teen grandson who we can't spoil and a five-year-old granddaughter who we have to fight Wonder Woman and Superman to spoil," Martha said while she made a flying motion with a fork full of potatoes.

"Give it a while, Lois and Clark are not used to being compatible to have children together, I give it a month or two and she'll be sitting here proudly showing you the positive pregnancy test," Alex said with a smirk.

"Yeah that's going to be fun to hear about especially now that they won't have to be careful about breaking her, I give it a few weeks," Sam added grinning.

Martha almost dropped her fork, and Jonathan was reaching for the cordless phone when he jumped with an "Ouch," as Martha kicked his shin.

"Don't you dare tell them, I don't want to be one foot in the grave when they get around to giving me more grandbabies," Martha said while glaring at him.

Alex and Sam laughed for a second until Martha looked at them, "You two better do it the normal way too."

"Uhh I need to go talk to Freeze," Alex said speeding through his meal and standing from the table until Martha's hand landed on his shoulder.

"Not so fast young man, you're going to make Sam an honest woman then give me more grandbabies as well, do you hear me?"

Alex slumped back into his seat, " Yes ma'am," he said while the women laughed at him.

"Umm, I have a question," When everyone looked at him he continued, " Why did Megan meet Kara and Conner at the end of the driveway instead of walking with them from the house?"

"Oh that's because she wanted to feel what it was like waiting for her friends on the bus to pick them up for school," Jonathan said just before the kitchen door was flung open by a hyper-looking Stephanie flying into land on his head.

"Morning little one where are your parents?" Sam asked while waving a slice of bacon under Stephanie's nose.

"Aunty Lolo went to work and Daddy I think I lost him near Japan," Stephanie cheerfully told them as she tried to get the bacon.

Everyone laughed as Clark appeared with a whoosh behind Jonathan, "That was China and why did you go around the world when my apartment is just a few minute's flight from here?" Clark asked as he picked her up from his father's head and took a seat.

"Yeah that's not the fun way to get here," Stephanie cheerfully said while Clark was filling a plate and she stole his bacon.

The others laughed as each time he put more bacon on his plate it would disappear into Stephanie's stomach.

"So you're going to be leaving today, do you know when you'll be back?" Clark asked after he finished eating after giving up on getting any bacon.

"Yeah in a little bit and probably a few weeks to a month," Alex said while watching the man lose another slice of bacon to the little girl.

Clark nodded, "We'll be waiting for you guys to get back, Lois said something about getting Sam to bring back some new fashionable clothes."

"Not sure about that most of the places we'll be going to will have similar clothing options to here," Alex told him with a shrug.

"I'll keep an eye out, you men just see cloth while we women see how the designers want their products to be," Sam pointed out while Powergirl and Martha nodded.

Alex and Clark just shrugged, "Keeps off the weather and hide the goods while in public, that's all I need."

Sam sighed at what Alex said when his clothes were exactly what he wanted, tee-shirt jeans, and shoes.

Flash suddenly whooshed into the kitchen, "Can you fix this?" he asked while gesturing to his rainbow-colored costume.

Alex smiled then pulled a camera from his hammerspace and took a picture, "Sure lesson learned," he said, after he spoke the colors changed to the Flash's normal costume.

"Thanks," Flash said before disappearing leaving the table clean.

"Hey, I was still eating," Karen and Stephanie complained as even their food was gone, a second later two large bowls of ice cream appeared in front of them.

"Thanks," They cheered before digging in.

"Rainbow Dash," Alex said after a few minutes, confusing the rest.

Suddenly Clark began laughing.

"What did we miss," Sam asked while cleaning Karen's face and hands after she finished her ice cream.

"Pretty Pretty Pegasus or My Little Pony," Alex said and waited for the rest to get it.

When the adults got it they all started laughing, until "Do I get a pony?" the two five-year-olds asked together.

Everyone looked at Alex like he said something forbidden causing him to gulp and try to run but Clark and Sam blurred and caught him by the shoulders.

"Umm, we can talk about it when we next visit," Alex almost whined out.
