Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter

Madam Bones marched through the grounds of Hogwarts. It was only the previous week when she had been here helping students learn the Patronus charm. From what she had since heard from Susan that there were a number of students now who could perform the charm in question and that it wasn't uncommon to see random intangible creatures roaming the school. She could only imagine the chaos that such an act would have caused if such things were common back in her time at Hogwarts.
Something else which was rather odd to see was that there seemed to be a competitive game of sport going on. Unlike the sports which were common during her time at Hogwarts, this one was not performed on broomsticks but rather had a number of students running around a pitch chasing a ball that wasn't enchanted in any way. It really was a different experience and frankly, if this got under the skin of a handful of Pureblooded witches and wizards, then good on them. This was the next generation saying that they wanted a change and they were shouting it loudly.
"Amelia, how pleasant it is to see you here again," said Dumbledore as he stood at the at the entrance of the school as the member of the alumni made her way forward. "Shall I inform your niece that you have arrived?"
"Hardly, I'm here on business," said Amealia. "I'm just upset that I have to be here and miss out on the groveling happening back at the Ministry."
"Dolores still trying to plead her case?" enquired Albus.
"To minimal effect," confirmed Amelia. "Lucius has taken great pleasure in dealing as much mental pain to that woman as possible. I think for the first time in my life, I do not blame him for his actions. While she was provoked into doing so, that is no excuse for her to have attacked Draco the way that she had."
"On that we can agree," stated Albus with a small tip of his head as he gestured for Amelia to follow him inside. As she did, the two of them walked side by side through the halls as children discussed amongst one another. "You were the last to arrive Amelia, everybody else is already here."
"Well sorry for being the only one who actually has a job to think about," scoffed Amelia. "So where is Sirius then?"
"I believe that he is enjoying some quality time with Remus," mused Dumbledore. "Given what the two of them used to get up to during their time at Hogwarts, hearing that a new generation is following in their footsteps will undoubtedly give them tremendous amounts of joy."
"Either that or pain," said Amelia, piquing Dumbledore's curiosity. "If those four boys back in the day had the ingenuity of these children, then this school likely wouldn't be standing."
Albus couldn't help but chuckle at the words. "Too right you are Amelia, too right you are."

Pandora Lovegood glided through the halls of Hogwarts, her fingers running across the tapestries and tickling at her fingertips. It had been far too long since she had been anywhere near to Hogwarts and in another time, she very well wouldn't have had this opportunity. It was an odd thing to consider in all actuality but she had long since come to terms with it.
Strolling past a courtyard, Pandora gazed over a number of students who were in discussion with one another, smile's plastered across their faces. The sheer positive energy that she had felt ever since she had stepped foot in the castle had been mesmerizing. From what she had heard, it might have been due not only to the nature of Potter Club as a whole, but also because a certain member of the Ministry had since been banished from the school.
Pandora had toyed with the idea of letting Luna know that she was coming but given this trip was more for business than for pleasure she had gone against it in the end. While there would have been much joy in seeing her ray of sunshine, it perhaps wasn't the best time to do so. There would always be a next time when she could see her daughter and knowing Luna, chances were she was off somewhere enjoying the day for what it was.
For now, she needed to meet up with the others who had been summoned so that Harry Potter could break down whatever it was that he had requested them for. Knowing him, it would be something surprising, shocking and horrifying all at once. Or at least she hoped so, it would be rather droll if it was merely one of those things.

"Oh if these walls could talk," mused Sirius as he looked at his surroundings.
"If these walls could talk they would be screaming at you to get out," chuckled Remus. "I imagine if we went past enough portraits they would actively start yelling at you."
"Rightfully so," boasted Sirius, pounding his fist against his chest. "Our deeds should be passed down as if they were legend."
"Yes, they truly would love to hear of your well known accomplishment of having gotten the most detentions in a single semester," recalled Remus. "Or would they rather discuss how you were caught out past curfew by the Prefects on three separate occasions on the one night."
"Ah yes, the struggles we had before we made the map. Whatever happened to that old thing?" asked Sirius.
"Given the stories of how Potter Club have accomplished since before I started teaching here, it wouldn't surprise me if one of their members have access to it," said Remus.
"At least we know that our prized piece of work is in good hands then," said Sirius.
"It pains me to say it but I can't help but agree with you."
"Severus!" proclaimed SIrius as turned around to see the Potions Master. "For how long have you been skulking behind us? Actually, you know what, I don't care about that. What I care about is that my hearing must be going because there's no possible way that you agree with me on something."
"Your pitiful jokes aside Sirius, why unconventional the effects that these children have had on the school whilst avoiding capture has helped study levels tenfold. Students actually are spending their days researching just how their peers were capable of doing what they did and in turn they learn as a result. As an academic leader at Hogwarts, while the method is unorthodox I cannot actively complain about the results," proclaimed Snape.
"Wow," said Sirius as he placed a hand on his head. "I think I need to sit down and have a drink while I contemplate whether all this is real or not."
"You are aware that it is not yet eleven in the morning?" questioned Snape.
"My point still stands."
Coughing into his hand, Remus brought the attention away from Sirius' antics. "Is there anything that we can help you with today Severus?"
"No, it just so happens that we share a destination," stated Snape.
"Wait? Harry invited you?" said Sirius, snapping back to reality.
"Indeed. Does that surprise you?"
"Yes," declared both Sirius and Remus without missing a beat.
"Well it best be worth considering I have to spend the rest of my day with you two dunderheads," scoffed Severus as he marched towards their shared destination.
"Well, should be entertaining regardless," said Remus. "Provided this dunderhead here behaves himself."
"This dunderhead makes no such promises," proclaimed Sirius boldly as the three of them strode through the corridor.

Hermione looked over the Marauder's Map, skimming past many of the students names as she focused on a handful in particular. She had wanted to spend the day with Harry, going over an idea that she had for Potter Club to implement but he had told her that there was something important he had to take care of. He had then given her the map and told her to watch it, saying that while he was unable to say anything directly to her, knowing her intellect he trusted her to come up with her own conclusion.
Having seen the challenge for what it was, Hermione had accepted with the belief of being able to look underneath the obvious. Given how large the map was to begin with, it made tracking down anybody in particular rather difficult. A few things had immediately made themselves obvious. The better part of twenty students were gathered in a single room, showing that the Muggle Music Members were happily having a session with the knowledge that Dolores Umbridge was gone and thus they were safe to do as they wished. Knowing that they were fully active again, Hermione made a mental note to head to Triple M at some stage to work on some finishing touches to her assignments. Nothing wrong with enjoying some familiar tunes while writing the last couple pages of parchment.
Focusing on the task at hand however, she looked at Harry's name or more importantly, focused on where Harry was currently located. The girls bathroom on the second floor. While the fact that Harry was in the girls bathroom to begin with, Hermione knew that such a place was a great place to meet up. Nobody went to that lavatory for the intended purpose solely due to Moaning Myrtle's presence. So that told her that whoever Harry was meeting with would be done so without interruption.
A brief thought passed through her mind with the idea that he was meeting up with a girl. Given his ravenous fan base at the Potter Fan Club, meeting someone in such an isolated area would make sense, but even Harry had the sense of mind not to do something like that in a bathroom, even if it did give them privacy. That meant that he was meeting somebody else there.
Or, it seemed, multiple people. Over a handful of minutes she watched as a number of individuals made their way into the bathroom, many of which had no real reason to be there in the first place. A handful of them shouldn't even have been at Hogwarts in the first place. Sirius Black, Pandora Lovegood and Amelia Bones had all come to Hogwarts to meet up with Harry. They were joined by Professors Snape, Lupin and even Headmaster Dumbledore. Harry hadn't been kidding when he said he had something important to do, and Hermione could tell that just by the people he was with.
What she wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall of whatever this was that was going on.
Then however, the most peculiar thing began to happen. One by one, the people in the bathroom began to vanish. It wasn't like they were leaving the bathroom the same way that they had entered. They were simply being removed off of the map.
Hermione quickly scoured the rest of the map, moving from page to page under the belief that the group of people had taken some sort of passage to another part of the castle. At the same time she considered that option, she removed it. There would have been no point in showing all these people, both Professors and influential people from outside Hogwarts a secret passage to another part of the school. There was no point in that.
If it was a passage as she assumed it to be and they didn't show up elsewhere on the map, that could only mean that they had traveled somewhere where the creators of the map were unaware of. If this was the case, that still didn't answer the question as to why Harry had decided to show all of these people.
The answer lay down that passage and unfortunately, knowing how tight lipped Harry could be on certain topics, that could very well be as much as she would ever know. That, sadly, only allowed her to theorize as to the importance of why each of these individuals had been summoned by Harry. Given all of their known feats and accomplishments, it was difficult to consider just what Harry needed them all for.
There was one outlier however, one person there that she had no real knowledge of.
Pandora Lovegood. Perhaps she was the key. Folding the map up and removing the ink from the parchment, Hermione went off to find Luna. Maybe she could provide some manner of answer that she was looking for.
...
"This is rather remarkable," said Albus as he ran his fingers over the shed snake skin that sat in the otherwise dull room. "If I were to guess, skin of this size must have been shed by a Basilisk."
"Don't frighten us with that sort of nonsense!" proclaimed Amelia. "If there were a Basilisk this big underneath Hogwarts then I'd have to evacuate the castle immediately."
"Even if it's not a Basilisk, that's a bloody big snake regardless," said Sirius.
"On that, we are in agreement," stated Snape.
Sirius immediately whipped around to look at his old friend. "See Remus, he did it again!"
"I'm aware but that's not really what's important right now is it," said Remus trying to grasp the concept of what he was baring witness to
"Indeed," chimed in Pandora. "What is important is that Harry has been down here before and, as far as we can see, this is only the beginning of this area. One which was only to be opened via Parseltongue, a rare skill in it's own right. I trust you simply didn't wander upon this area by accident whilst hissing to yourself."
"On that, you are correct," said Harry as he kept making his way forward, the crowd of adults following suit. "The first time I came in here I did so because somebody needed rescuing and I essentially acted on instinct."
"Rescuing?" repeated Amelia. "If there was such an incident why didn't you report it to me sooner?"
It was difficult to comprehend whether Amelia was asking the question of Harry or Dumbledore. Harry took up the option to respond. "I didn't report it because it happened a long time ago," stated Harry as he set about opening the next door, the adults watching as the giant door's locks slithered out of place, an odd viewing pleasure if ever there was one.
"It can't have been that long ago Harry, you've only been at school for a handful of years," said Sirius.
"That's not quite the truth," acknowledge Harry, continuing his march forward. "I promise everything will make sense shortly but I'm going to need you all to trust me and not hex me in the back. Or in the front. On my side? Just try not to hex me all up alright?"
Harry's words lingered amongst everyone as they tried to grasp what he was implying there before they came upon a grand hall with something a little chunkier than the skin they had come across earlier. The cacophony of swears that rang out behind Harry were difficult to comprehend amongst one another. Harry knew that there were a couple which if he were to utter, he would likely get a clip behind the ear.
"This is the Basilisk whose skin you saw earlier," said Harry as he turned to address everybody. "I killed it last year using a rooster belonging to Hagrid, not the most chivalrous of kills but a lot easier than stabbing it through the head with the Sword of Gryffindor."
"How rather specific a blade to have chosen," mused Pandora. "Is that how you slay this beast last time?"
"Last time?" repeated Sirius. "What is she talking about Harry?"
"Well, ladies and gentleman, first some formalities. Welcome to the Chamber of Secrets, built by Salazar Slytherin hundred of years ago," proclaimed Harry, stretching his arms wide in a grand gesture. "Secondly, and more importantly, I've come from a time where you, you, you, you and you are all dead."
Harry had pointed to all but Remus during that time, very clearly pointing it out. A stunned silence rang out amongst everyone before Harry clapped his hands together. "What say we start at the beginning with Voldemort having killed me four years from now and sending me back in time seven years? Sound fair?"
The silence continued to reign.
That was until Pandora spoke up.
"If I knew it was going to be a long story I would have brought something for everyone to snack on."
Her casual remark caused pandemonium to break out as everybody tried to throw their questions at Harry all at once. Harry allowed himself to sigh. He'd chosen to walk down this path, now it was time to see it through.

Hope you enjoyed.
