Mike bustles around the house, enjoying how loud and filled with people it is. "Watch partyyyyy," he sings, relieved to be able to focus on something other than R-Truth and how ridiculously their tag title reign had ended.

AJ laughs at him, leaning over to place another bucket of ice down on the patio table. "Not like you're excited or anything," she teases him.

"Hey, I don't often get a two hour documentary about my career," Mike says, wrapping an arm around her waste as she stands back up straight, a smile on her lips. "It's pretty exciting."

"It is," AJ concedes. "Even if they're carrying on the story about you and Maryse."

Mike hums, leaning in to kiss her. "Interesting, huh. A lie like that from years ago still having legs all of these years later?"

"Who knew people would actually believe something you tell them and work to make believable to extreme degrees," she says dryly, cupping the side of his face.

He blinks innocently at her and she rolls her eyes. "I love you," he says quietly.

"You're lucky you're cute," she says. "And a good father, and a good husband, and yada. Or this wouldn't be so easy to forgive. Getting erased from your life and all."

He draws her in and hugs her tightly. "Never," he murmurs. "Just in a documentary that only strangers will ever buy. Everyone who matters knows your real role in my life."

"I guess," she says, gasping and finally laughing as he twirls her around, drawing her in for an intense kiss. "Fine, fine." She swats a hand against his chest and then kisses him, drawing her fingers through his hair, tugging him close. "Let's get this over with."

"Yes, ma'am." He draws her onto the patio, where everyone's waiting to watch once they're both content with how the snacks and drinks are set up. "Besides," he says, pausing with her at the doorway. "you're not going to be alone. Morrison gets mentioned twice in the whole thing."

AJ looks up at him, eyes wide. "Oh, that's not going to go well," she gasps. "He's going to hate it."

"I know," Mike winces. "You going to help me navigate all of that?"

"I may have to," she murmurs. "He's going to be so mad."

"I know." Mike rests his forehead on her shoulder. "I tried to get them to include more about it, but they edited out so much..."

She laughs and wraps her arms around his neck. "I admit, that does make me feel a little better," she muses as they walk side by side onto the patio.

He huffs out a laugh and kisses her. "Well, we'll see if that lasts once we all have to deal with his hurt feelings," he sighs.

AJ smirks and pats his jaw before drawing him outside, surrounded by all of their friends and family for the recognition of all that Mike's done in the business for the last twenty years.
