But I refuse! 2 - or 'How I realized I became the MC/Cuck of a RPG game and decided to use all tricks and tools to dodge 'em issues!' (NTRPG Fantasy Games, SmartGamer!SI)
A new day came to the small village, and I found no reason to laze about.
Not when I had a limited window of opportunity to somehow level up to either LV. 50 or above that. It was a wild assumption, but if I had to take a guess, the fat king's guardians were high-level enough to make LV. 20 and LV. 30 insignificant. LV. 50 should have been enough to handle that sort of worry, but I had to get there somehow.
From what I remember, the grinding needed to go around LV. 30 was already absurd due to the mobs being capped to give EXP to rapidly grow until mid LV. 20s.
Not a fun reminder, but one that got me instantly curious to test out my current capacities since I was now well beyond the level of the mobs in the area. Since most of the adults were waiting for the arrival of a new chief (this one was going to be an old woman), no one could really do much but have us kids take part to the limited expeditions south of the village to get some of the needed resources.
We were told to not approach any of the monsters around, and that was the plan when-
"We could do deeper. There's definitely more of the herbs we need there."
"I bet we will only find trouble if we go deeper, Liese," I pointed out, causing the little blonde to snort.
She was wearing a yellow jacket over a black shirt, a blue skirt reaching down just above her knees and a pair of black boots. A normal kid at first sight, no one would suspect she would be the second victim in this NTR Game and lose her V-Card to the goddamn fat bastard of a king.
Even though she was far from that kind of bad spot, she was already threading the path of trouble, this one potentially putting her in a scary situation relating to slimes since those were the creatures that were common within the area.
She rolled her eyes at my words. "So, you are scared of seeing a spooky monster? We will just run away at the first sight of danger, dummy."
And then she proceeded to march deeper into the woods. Growling, I followed closely behind her, causing her to smile smugly at this victory. This place was low-level and nothing here could kill me, but Liese was a LV. 1 and someone without any equipment to win any battle as of now.
The more we moved deeper in the forest, the more I could tell that we were going to face an ambush. Not even ten minutes into the stroll, and Liese tripped forward, her legs stuck in what looked to be blue goo.
"W-What is it!?" Panic spread on her face as her pink eyes were focused on the slime as it formed two red eyes to stare at her, and a few tentacles to try and do the naughty with her. "N-No!"

I was already on the case, foot held up and then stomping down onto the slime. The impact was so intense that the eyes went flying and the monster died instantly.
I got little EXP but I also got some Gold. While the village didn't have a shop, that didn't mean that this would go to waste as it would give me something to rely upon once I had the chance to leave home for a while longer. After I killed that one slime, our position was swarmed by several of those, and while Liese was shivering at the sight of that scary situation, her fright was soon dispelled as I start making short work of those slimes.

Silence was soon returned to the clearing and I walked up to Liese. She didn't say anything as I picked her in a bridal carry and brought her home. I think she appreciated just enough not being anywhere near that scary location to not whine about me 'touching her so intimately'.
She didn't say anything to the adults, and I refrained to do so too. The least attention I got from this peculiar accident, the better. I was already 'standing out' for being the only male boy in town and Liese's father was... a piece of work that wasn't rapey but was a freaky freak due to his disgusting hobbies. He still 'liked' his daughter enough to be protective of her without being possessive over it.
Plus, the lack of unwarranted attention helped me finalize my plans to check out if a specific feature of this game was available to me or not: once you clear a dungeon, you can technically fast-travel to the other side and reach other settlements without having to fend your way through those places once again. It was convenient to skip unimportant battles, but to me it was all about skipping unnecessary places to get to higher-level spots.
Once the night came, I checked if the sleeping powder I slipped in mom's drink during dinnertime had taken effect. Pinching at her upper cheeks seemed to confirm she was out of it, giving me free reign to engage in a little nightly excursion.
I made sure to close the house's door to avoid any 'unplanned visitors' taking advantage of the situation I was leaving behind, equipping the Bronze Sword that once was my father's and moving speedily through the forest dungeon until I could make it to the other side.
While my plan was flawless, I hadn't considered that unforeseen developments could easily ruin it. I mean, I could account to any potential issue tied to any 'local escalation', but I couldn't do much from 'visitors' deciding to check the place for the sake of revenge.
Especially when those were the kind of 'monsters' that would have potentially be dealt with in the background and before the story even started.
"S-Sister, slow down! We can rest and approach the village tomorrow-"
"No, I will not! We're so close to get our revenge!"
It was night and the two girls talking were both tense and tired. The youngest more of the latter, while the hot-blooded one was clearly too infuriated to pause in her steps. What many would be unable to see was that these two were not normal girls as both displayed demonic features such as feathered wings coming from their hips, horns and slitted eyes.
The two girls were daughters to the Demon Lord... and one of the Heroines that had gone to defeat him. Despite his defeat and then sealing, the two had enjoyed time together- enough for two children to be born.
Lorem had white hair and red eyes, perfectly mirroring her fire affinity that made her a 'hell brat'. Merii was instead born with black hair and green eyes, showing her affinity for poison and support rather than frontline combat.
Originally they planned to take over what was left of their father's legions, but these demons were led by powerful generals that 'had no loyalty to little human-bloods like them'. Their nature was quite the stigma for demons, same for humans, but that didn't stop them from trying to acquire some form of revenge.
And their starting point was to kill the general that had hurt and killed their mother. They knew he had retired somewhere in the village north of the forest they were moving through, the area filled with weak-level monster.
One of the blessings their mother gave them was the ability to 'Observe' other's levels. It was an odd ability, but it had helped them a lot survive some scary skirmishes with people they thought weaker than them. And as they moved closer to achieve their plans, Lorem seemed to spot someone moving towards them.
Instead of going around this individual, the white-haired demon girl bolted after this individual, causing Merii to panic to follow up.
"S-Sister!"
Lorem seemed too keen to battle the... boy that was moving around with a small sword. He appeared quite plain to the sight, but Merii had long accepted to never judge a book from its cover and as she used her Observe on the boy...
Blade - Young Assassin
Lv. 15
Merii panicked even more.
Her yells didn't reach her sister in time, the older demon hurling herself at her opponent, ignoring the fact that they both were ten levels weaker than the boy.
Part of the green-eyed girl feared her sister would have gotten stabbed and killed, but all she got was a punch hitting her face and sending her cocky sister flying towards a nearby tree and putting her out of commission. Merii rushed to her side, checking on her condition and, beyond a few bruises, Lorem appeared to be fine if just unconscious.
"Who are you two and why did you attack me?"
The commanding voice behind the questions made the poor girl tense up, eyes wide open as she turned those to this boy, Blade.
"M-Merii. This is my sister, Lorem. We- We were trying to..."
"Yes?"
Gulping nervously, Merii shut her eyes and spoke up. "T-To take revenge on our mother! We are here to- to kill the old general that lives in your village!"
...
...
"Oh," The boy hummed, appearing surprised. "The old fart is dead. Heart complications."
The news shocked the young demon girl, eyes wide open once more, but her heart sinking at the news that this trip, this journey was... was all for nothing. She just couldn't believe it!
"H-How do I know that you are telling the truth and- and this isn't a trick?"
The boy didn't reply by word, but he aimed his finger at a spot to the side. Merii followed the direction and saw what appeared to be a gravestone. Humans would struggle with this the barely visible area, but her demonic eyes could easily read the name of the man they had been hunting for and... that he had died just recently.
"Oh."
Effort and patience, all gone to waste and... they were still in a bad spot.
"Look, Merii, how about this: no hostilities until we have a conversation tomorrow morning. You can 'use' the old man's house since it's empty but you will have to keep there without catching any attention. I doubt the villagers will be fine with housing two demon girls, but they will not check on you since the place is 'a mourning spot'."
Merii was confused by the offer. Why would this boy want to just... talk with them? Why not kill them? They were easy EXP to level up, so why would he just... let them be?
"W-Why?"
He shrugged. "Your sister's definitely a dumb demon but you care for her and you are not doing anything stupid. I wanna hear your story, if you wish to tell it to me."
This offer was... somewhat intriguing. While Merii wasn't truly confident in giving up their backstory, it was also true they didn't have much of a story and, who knows, maybe they could leave that place without getting further wounded or even killed.
"F-Fine."
Now, that sounded like the most humiliating thing that Merii could have agreed on, but what happened next had it beaten with ease. Lips twitching and face burning red, the girl regretted having confessed to feeling tired and allowed the human to have her ride him by his back while he bridal-carried the sleeping Lorem into the village.
It further made her thoughts mixed on how to handle this strange kid. Part of her wanted to poison him and just be done with him but...
Why she was so keen to hesitate just now?

So, I need to expand a few things some new readers don't know about me- when it comes to 'lacking plotlines' from those games, I tend to build around those some backstories and circumstances the games 'do not tell the players about'. In this first instance, the two girls (who are same-named Expies of Lorem and Merii from MazoHaha by Zyugoya) are daughters of the Demon Lord that would be killed by the chief before the game. This event is not 'canon' to the game, but it adds more detail on the story.
And it will happen again just so that it doesn't seem like 'nothing has happened for decades', especially in regard to the Kingdom's politics.
Lastly, something that I should have addressed earlier: the suggestions should strictly be around games set in fantasy scenarios. I can't do 'modern scenarios' since this isn't the point of this fantasy story.
