Marisol: Hola mama?

Mama: Hola mija. Are you busy?

Marisol: No. Just got home from work. Why? Qué pasa?

Mama: Nada, nada.

Marisol: Mama don't lie to me. What happened?

Mama: Oh you know how clumsy I am. I fell down the stairs but I'm okay.

Marisol: You what? Are you hurt?

Mama: Corazón I'm okay. My leg is broken and I'm in the hospital. I just wanted you to know.

Marisol: What happens when you get home? Who will take care of you and the house?

Mama: I can take care of myself mija.

Marisol: Nonono. You need to rest. I come over and help you.

Mama: You have to work. I'm okay by myself.

Marisol: No. I find a substitude and fly down to you. I call you when I have more details.

Blaine's call:

Blaine: Anderson?

Marisol: Hey Blaine.

Blaine: Marisol? Hi. How are you? How's your mom?

Marisol: I'm good. Mama not really. She fell down the stairs, broke her leg.

Blaine: Ouh. That's not so good to hear. Wish her well from me.

Marisol: Will do. Actually that's why I'm calling. I'm flying down there tomorrow evening to help her and take care of the house but I need someone to take over my classes. I thought since you studied music you could do it? If you want to of course but you would help me a lot and it could be a great experience for you.

Blaine: I would have to take over on Monday right?

Marisol: Sí. We would meet tomorrow so I can explain everything to you and tell you what you need to know and do. If you have questions after that I'm only one call away.

Blaine: Okay. I'll take over for you. How about breakfast at my place?

Marisol: I be there at 10. Thank you Blaine. Honestly. I trust you the most with the students. You are a musician, you know what you do and teach them.

Blaine: The pleasure is all mine. How will you get to the airport?

Marisol: I'll probably take a cab or so.

Blaine: Tell me when you need to go and I'll drive you.

Marisol: You're an angel. Gracias Blaine. You don't know how thankful I am.

Blaine: That goes without saying. Now I have to go. I'm on my way to the studio for a late afternoon jam session.
