omAN: First, I would like to apologize for the long time all of you had to wait for this *bows deeply*, but I wanted to finish my oldest projects so I had less fics to work on. Second, I removed Vergil from the harem, as that was one too many for me to manage right off the bat...Plus she would be WAY to op, Yamato plus Darkslayer can kill almost anything…Kind like the mystic eyes of death perception. And now lets get on to your reviews shall we? "Vail Ryuketsu," more of however I need to write her for the scenes she's in…Probably a mix with other variants of her personality. "chm01," Yes, I meant Bladestorm the game…The original campaign as I have not played Bladestorm Nightmare yet. "Kratos Pendragon," I should have a more regular schedule for updates now, but yes, it will be whenever I can get an update in to the cycle. "coronadomontes," Sadly I don't speak Spanish…so if someone could give me a translation so I can give a proper answer, that would be great. Also, the poll is over and the winners were Tamamo No Mae and Mordred! Also, I have renamed the chapter to fit more with the direction my brain took it. Summary of the Years, and Passing of a Legend:

The years since Naruto's adoption by Kiritsugu Emiya were the happiest of his life, sure initially he was still a little weary of his adopted father, but he found all his worries were unfounded.

The Magus Killer had every intention of being as good a parent as he could for the boy he adopted, and he was an exceptional one. Always helping where he could in Naruto's live and making sure he was safe and healthy. There was only one main area he failed in, Kiritsugu was an abysmal cook, every time he tried to make even a simple nutritious meal, he would wind up making something that could be classified as a lethal poison.

After a couple of months of this, and having to order take out to feed themselves, Naruto started experimenting in the kitchen…And soon found that he was a natural. Sure his first few attempts were over cooked or at least bland, but he learned from every mistake and became a better cook. In fact his adopted father would have rated his cooking at around a three star in quality.

Despite being proud of his adopted son, the Emiya patriarch was embarrassed that he was unable to cook a simple meal when his son could… As such, he decided to give Naruto a daily allowance to make up for forcing the kid to cook, as such Naruto got roughly 500 yen a day. The look of shock on the kid's face when he got his first allowance had been heartbreaking for the former assassin.

But for one full year everything was settling down into what could be called a normal life…Until a band of freelancers looking to make a name for themselves found them. The group was made of lesser necromancers, who could only raise skeletal warriors to fight, and several other types of magic users. It wasn't.

While the curse of Angra Manju did weaken the infamous assassin, he was still more than a match for the much weaker practioners…Especially as he still had his arsenal of weapons that the arrogant mages were unprepared for. When the massacre was over, in the span of five minutes, Kiritsugu had turned to go back inside the house…Only to see his adopted son looking at him with something akin to awe, as the boy yelled: "TEACH ME HOW TO DO MAGIC!"

Naturally, his adopted father deflected his desire to learn magic…At least for a time. A month later Naruto seemed to remember about the "super cool epic fight" he had, and began to beg to learn magic almost every day. At first it was entertaining, but eventually it got a little annoying. Finally the two sat down and the black haired magus asked his ward WHY he wanted to learn magic.

The blond's answer surprised him. Naruto wanted to learn magic as a means of self defense, for if there were more magi out there then there were bound to be some who were "evil" or "bad" and he would need to defend himself and those he cared about.

This reasoning, so similar yet different from his own, made the hardened assassin grin in acceptance. For the first time, the infamous "Magus Killer" was going to take on an apprentice, and unlike those idiots at the Clock Tower, he was going to make sure his was prepared for anything.

To that end, he crafted a rigorous training schedule, purposefully designed to make him even more menacing to any magus Naruto would fight in the future then his own legendary prowess was. The training ran the gambit from physical conditioning, something many mages neglected in their reliance on their mysteries, to fire arms and weapon training.

However, despite Kiritsugu's wide range of skills, the man was not really a martial artist, the one ability he believed his son would need if he didn't want to accidentally reveal the existence of Magecraft…and so for the first year Naruto did not learn anything relating to martial arts, until his father brought in an expert that he was on good terms with…The legendary Segata…Sanshiro.

What many people were unaware of is that Sega and Nintendo were founded by rival magus families…those two families used their consoles for different purposes. Sega used their console just to fund their research and had no sinister purpose behind their devices…Nintendo on the other hand, had been secretly trying to take over the world using mind control chips planted in all their consoles post SNES, the people in charge of the business (the non-magus portion of the family) were unaware of this fact.

However eventually this scheme was discovered by one of the members of the clan, and passed on to Sega as they were the only ones able to stop the chip, and they sent Sanshiro…Their most powerful enforcer, a man capable of demolishing entire armies of foes with nothing but his fists…But fearing that he may not be enough, they contracted Kiritsugu as back up for the op.

The two had decimated Nintendo's Magus Branch, and destroyed the mind control devices…In the process these two opposites, the cold merciless killer and the martial arts prodigy obsessed with gaming became fast friends born of mutual respect for the other's skills.

When Naruto had seen who was going to train him, he was a little skeptical, as he was smart enough to know not to believe everything he saw on TV…But after getting "gently" knocked around by the martial artist, he begged the man to teach him.

Naruto's training progressed by leaps and bounds, for example perfect mastery over all weapons, so much so that a curious Kiritsugu called in a favor from one of his old contacts at the Clock Tower for materials for a ritual to determine a person's "origin" and "nature." What he found was startling. His adopted son had TWO origins and one SUPER nature.

The former Uzumaki had as his origins: "Weapon" and "Denial of Nothingness." The first was puzzling, but it seemed to explain the ease with which the boy mastered anything that could be considered a weapon. His "origin" literally denied the possibility of sucking with any weapon, no matter how weak or impotent. The other origin was a bit more disquieting, but everyone present agreed to keep that one quite until he was able to defend himself as well as savvy enough to avoid any traps to traps and make him a breeding stock for a magus clan.

As for his nature, it was a combination of two others: "Dragon Slayer." A power meant to boost the one who has it's abilities to be on par with beings of unbelievable power, such as Dragons greater devils and demons. This they also decided to keep secret, not only as a trump card, but for the same reason they agreed to hide "Denial of Nothingness," most Magi are greedy pieces of trash that would not hesitate to use any means at their disposal to get what they want, and a being capable potentially of slaying greater phantasmal beasts would be in high demand.

But sadly, all good things must come to an end. After several years of this training, and enjoying finally having a father, the curse of Angra Manju finally claimed Kiritsugu. But before it did Naruto was able to have one last conversation with his adopted father, and it was one that would change his life.

Fuyuki City: Emiya Residence March 11th 2007

Naruto and his father sat on the back porch of the main building in the Emiya Compound, it was a beautiful night for early March. They were enjoying the night, but a sharp pain cut through Kiritsugu, making the assassin wince. He knew his time was short, as such he decided to give his son the last advice he could.

Kiritsugu cleared his throat before he spoke: "Naruto, we both know my time is short…No, don't call a doctor, it's that. But before I go on to my final destination, let me tell you somethings that may become important later."

"First off, I have a daughter, she's older then you by a few years. However as she is half homunculus her body is in flux. The last time I saw her she still looked like a little girl, and she may have that appearance for the rest for her life as far as I know. If you can, please take her into your life and take her away from her Grandfather…The patriarch of the Einsenbern family is not a good person, and holds quite a grudge, which is why she has not been here with us."

Pausing to make sure that his son was taking in everything he was saying, he smiled lightly when he saw the scowling face of his son looking where he assumed would be Germany in the world. Another sharp spasm struck the black haired man, and so he continued on: "Next, there is a possibility that the event that happened five years ago, may happen again. If so, try and keep your loved ones safe, and then worry about the rest of the populace…Don't let yourself suffer the same regrets I have."

A rasping cough forced itself through his lips, drawing a concerned look from Naruto, but the magus waved his apprentice's concern away as he continued: "Lastly, there are those in this world that will hate you just for having my last name. You must not let them affect you or drag you down, live your life how you see fit and let no one tell you otherwise. Remember, no matter what I will always be proud of you, Naruto."

The blond smiled sadly at his father's words: "Thank you for your words, tou-sama. These last few years have been the happiest of my life, I hope that you can find peace and happiness where you're going."

Kiritsugu smiled genuinely at his son's words, and with pride in his heart over his adopted son, the legendary Magus Killer passed away peacefully…While his son finally let the tears he had been holding in out, and cried himself to sleep.
