Later in the evening, everyone was back at the Noceda household for Donne and yelling Camila the good news about the portal development and the discovery of Titan's Blood right here in Gravesfield.

She pretended to understand what that meant.

"I'm so happy for you kids. So, when will you be getting this blood?" Camila asked.

'Never thought I'd ask a question like that.' She thought.

But she also never thought a lot of things that are happening.

"Well, we were thinking that we could go get it when nobody would notice. Like doing a big celebration or event when everyone will be distracted." Hunter said, rubbing his chin.

"The closest event is Halloween." Luz said.

'Halloween? Sweet! A night full of candy and costumes!' Rebellion said with a "smile" to Amity.

'All Hallow's Eve? Ugh, that is when the barrier between the mortal world and the next worlds is at its weakest.' Yamato said to Luz.

'So it could be the best time to open a portal big enough to get to the demon realm.' Luz thought.

Yamato groaned at Luz, hating how she was ignoring the possibly DRASTIC danger that came with Halloween. She was pretty focused on that, like how she originally was.

'Whatever happens that night, Luz, be ready. And even if it's not ideal, you may have to reveal me to your friends.' Yamato said to Luz, warning her.

'I'll be ready.' Luz thought.

As Luz was mentally preparing herself for whatever comes on Halloween, Amity was doing the same but her sword was a bit more relaxed about it.

Which is the exact opposite of the Amity Blight mindset.

'Do you ever worry about anything, Rebel?' Amity thought.

'Rebel, I like it. And yeah, I do. I just prefer to keep a cool head.' Rebellion said to her. 'Helps keep things calm.'

'Lucky you.' Amity thought.

'You know you're lucky you found me. Even after you found a great girlfriend, you're still really stressed. You gotta relax and learn to go with the flow.' Rebellion said.

'Sorry, but my entire life has been like this, it was how I was raised.' Amity thought.

'Yeah, well... I lost both my parents before I was ten, my brother and I have tried to kill each other for decades, and I had to stop hell from being unleashed on the human realm.' Rebellion said, revealing Dante's history. 'You aren't the only one that's had it hard, but you have something I never did, you have people to lean on.'

That wasn't exactly true but Dante, the original wielder and soul copied in Rebellion, was the strongest of his friends and always had to save the day alone.

Amity, while having with "his" power, didn't have to rely on herself. Not when she had others to rely on.

'Maybe you're right.' Amity thought.

"Alright, are you kids ready for desert?" Camila asked.

"Always!" Gus said, rubbing his hands together.

"Yeah, mom." Luz said.

"What is it, Camila?" Willow asked, pushing her plate back.

"I'll be back." Camila said, getting up and walking to the fridge.

"You guys are in for a treat. Mom makes good desserts." Luz said to her friends.

"The absolute beast." Vee said.

Both of them locked their lips in anticipation as they thought of what dessert could it be.

Homemade ice cream?

Special cold pastries?

Their answer soon came as Camila pulled it out of the fridge.

"Behold. Crème caramel or Flan as most people say it is." Camila said, bringing a bright red, flat single layer cake to the table.

"Oh yeah! I love me some Flan!" Luz said with a wide grin.

"Huh, I've never heard of this before." Amity said.

"You're gonna love it. It's so sweet! And it feels like it's melting in your mouth when you eat it!" Vee said, excited.

"Okay, then." Amity said, thinking it might be like tasting abomination muck.

Don't ask her how she knows.

'You better brace yourself, really good Flan makes you feel like you're orgasming.' Rebellion said.

'……Please stop talking. I'm trying not to lose my appetite.' Amity thought with a frown.

That was one thing she did not need to know, not at her age.

Camila set the Flames on the table and cut a piece for everyone, placing them on saucers.

"As the French say, Bon Apetite." Camila said.

'French? I think I read about that once.' Willow thought randomly.

'Not sure how I'm going to now.' Amity thought, remembering Rebel's words.

Everyone, but Luz and Vee, used their spoons and scooped up some flan before tasting it for the first time.

'Here it comes.' The sisters thought as they waited for their reactions.

Slowly, all of the witches' eyes went wide.

An angelic choir could be heard in their heads as they all slowly pulled their spoons out of their mouths.

"That…" Willow said.

"Was…" Hunter said.

"Hexing…" Gus said.

"Amazing…" Amity said.

"... I'm scared." Luz whispered, a bit nervous from their slow reactions.

"It is sort of scary how they're reacting." Vee whispered.

'They also seem to be frozen.' Yamato comments as the witches were stuck in place for a moment. 'A dessert cannot be that good.'

'You've never had my mother's desert.' Luz thought.

Suddenly, everyone began eating the flan as fast as they could.

"Whoa! Slow down, guys! There's plenty left." Vee said to them, eating her own.

'... I almost wish I had a mouth just so I could experience this.' Yamato said.

Told you.' Luz thought with a grin as she ate some flan.

"Mmmm, perfect as always, mom." Luz said.

"Well, I try." Camila said, being humble.

'I'm so happy they like it.' Camila thought, more worried that the witches would hate it or even be poisoned from it.

Hopefully the night would remain calm from this point.

And if not?

Well, Luz or Amity might get a sudden case of "sleepwalking."
