Chapter 17: Problems
( Konoha Council Chamber)
The Entire council was busy screaming and yelling In protest since they heard what happened yesterday.
They demanded protection and safety from the kyuubi brat, since word has spread that Naruto massacred a whole orphanage only leaving one boy as a sole survivor who had been sent to the hospital since he went into Shock after witnessing the deaths of the Staff members and children he played with there. Now broken and very afraid he was grateful that Naruto had spared him.
In the Uchiha clan seat was Mikoto Uchiha who is taking Fugaku's place since he's still in the hospital due to what Itachi did. She was saddened that her eldest son has been disowned by her husband.. Her own clan, even his little brother. Hell even Shisui no longer considered Itachi a friend. Banished and outcasted from the Uchiha Clan.
Izumi Uchiha had just returned from her mission this morning and was told what happened. That Itachi had come back. Of course the Uchiha clan members said Itachi tried to kill Fugaku his own father and that he was banished from the clan and no longer an Uchiha. It wasn't until Mikoto came to her and told her the real truth of what really transpired. Izumi decided to seek out Itachi later and talk to him.
"The Demon boy is back to kill us!" shouted a Merchant civilian
"What do you expect? I knew we should have just killed him when he was a baby!" says another.
"Great just great! If word of this gets out of the leaf village, we'll look bad!" Says Koharu with anger
"He isn't the only monster. That so-called Lucy woman is also a monster! Daimyo or not! She is absolute danger to us all! And will not hesitate to kill us for hurting her "Son" bah!" Says Homura showing his disgust for Lucy and Naruto.
"Don't forget our once loyal Shinobi who turned into Traitors! And serves that Pink haired Bitch! Even Our once "beloved" Sannin Tsunade Senju turned traitor and murdered the head doctor and several other doctors and nurses at the hospital she once worked at!" Koharu added with everyone except the clanheads minus Hiashi. Nodded.
Yes... this struck a blow to Konoha that Tsunade Senju indeed joined up with Wave's Daimyo and is killing konoha's people just because the Kyuubi brat was getting what he deserved when he first existed.
They lost good Shinobi who turned traitor and sided with Lucy.
Yugao Uzaki who was once a Anbu Captain. Now she turned traitor and joined Lucy.
Anko Mitirashi Konoha's specialist in torturing enemy Shinobi and prisoners and was Ibiki's number 2 in T.I but was also the student of Orochimaru. Now she's a traitor and joined up with Lucy.
Itachi Uchiha. The Ace. The Uchiha Prodigy. The Clan Heir of Fugaku. Also turned traitor and sided with Lucy. He attacked his own father by throwing a shiriken in his left eye.
Tsunade's Student Shizune Kato was even branded a traitor.
All of them are Traitors. Which stuck a great blow to their village.
"Yes... such a disappointment." Danzo commented talking for the first time during this meeting. Showing his disgust and hidden anger at the Daimyo of Wave.
"What can we do!?" Says Mebuki Haruno as all eyes turned to the Sandaime waiting for his response on this.
Hiruzen was not having good time about this. And he is very annoyed about what has transpired here. As he looked at all his council members who eyed him waiting for him to give them guidance.
"What would you all have me do? It's not in my power to arrest them. They all serve a Daimyo. Wave's Daimyo." Hiruzen says with a sigh
"Can't you talk to the Fire Daimyo to do something about this! Like tell-" Says Homura but Hiruzen cut him off.
"Our Fire Daimyo won't lift a finger to help us. He's angry at us too remember? He's already cutting our funding and giving missions to other Shinobi villages. He's forsaken us to Wave's Daimyo." Hiruzen said with many groaning that even their own Fire Daimyo won't help them out of this.
"This is BAD! Can't we just kill her and those traitors! Even the Kyuubi Brat!" Says another civilian council member.
"NO!" Hiruzen slammed his fists on the table surprising everyone with his outburst
"Are you out of your mind?! If we kill Lucy. This could cause a major setback for all shinobi villages every Daimyo in the elemental nations will be keeping a closer eye on Shinobi Villages. The Daimyo's will have distrust for their shinobi and would think their own Shinobi could be plotting against them! Even our own Daimyo! Will be watching us! He'll assume we would betray him and would probably send out a whole army of his Samurai to liquidate the whole Village! Lucy is a Daimyo of wave! No Shinobi or even a missing nin has ever done the impossible of killing a Daimyo knowing a lot of heat would be on them for committing such a crime!" Hiruzen says glaring at the idiot for even suggesting such a thing.
After hearing Hiruzen's outburst everyone processed his words and paled. Now understanding why it's not a good idea to kill Lucy.
"Even if we did try to kill her. She will kill us First." Jiraiya says now appearing
"What makes you say that?" Hiruzen asked his student
"They have some kind of Bloodline..." Jiraiya answered with Everyone paying attention.
"Bloodline? elaborate?" Homura says
"I noticed it when Tsunade and I had a heated discussion. I'm not sure how I can describe this but they have invisible hands..." Jiraiya says frowning with everyone gasping.
"invisible hands?" Hiruzen repeated getting a nod from his student.
"Yes. When Tsunade choked me she didn't use her own hands on me... something invisible grabbed my throat and it felt like a hand was wrapped around my throat yet I couldn't see it but I felt it." Jiraiya says with everyone now looking worried by this information and felt fear.
"They have a Bloodline that allows them to have invisible hands?" Danzo asked.
"Yes... Now that you mention it. When Tsunade barged in the office she knew where my Anbu guards are and killed them each by snapping their necks.." Hiruzen says feeling a shiver down his spine lucky that something like that hasn't touched him yet. He couldn't understand how his former Ex Student did it without using her literal hands.
"Yes... I have a feeling those Horns... those horns on their heads are probably the source of it. That's what I'd like to assume but really don't know." Jiraiya says honestly
"Well if you ask me we need to get rid of them before they kill us!" Suggested another
"I'd like to disagree. Capture one of them and put them in a breeding program. Think of it. We can have a new clan here in Konoha. Make them loyal to us with invisible hands they can be the perfect lethal weapons. Against other Shinobi villages!" Danzo suggested with others gasping at that idea.
"Are you senile? Just how exactly can we capture one of them? They are not gonna let them get close to one of them. They'll know something is up and will kill without hesitation! Hell! Tsunade will suspect!" Jiraiya countered
"Yes. Even Anko and Yugao will know something is up and will inform Lucy... no doubt." Hiruzen says
"What about that other girl that hangs around The Kyuubi Jinchuriki. Haku was her name wasn't it?" Says Danzo
"We'd have to submission her to a genjutsu to keep her under in our control." Jiraiya says with Danzo nodding
"I'm very much against this idea, it's wrong. And I want no part of it. If you dare think of using my son and Kushina's boy as breeding there will be hell to pay!" Mikoto says with her Sharingan coming to life.
"We are not using Fugaku's spawn. But The Kyuubi Jinchuriki would be a perfect idea. Once we win against Wave's Daimyo in the Chunin exams." Danzo cuts in with The clan heads except Hiashi glaring at him.
Hiashi was not giving up neither of his daughters to Kushina's Bastard child for the breeding program.
"Hmmm. I don't find that a bad idea. If we can't get the Haku girl as a candidate then Naruto will become a breeder for us to create a clan with white horns and Invisible hands."Hiruzen declares
"So you would subjugate Kushina's child into something like that against his will?" Hissed Tsume glaring at the Hokage.
"Tsume. It's his purpose. Whether you like it or not. My order for his fate is absolute once Jiraiya and Kakashi wins." Hiruzen answered with her and the other clan heads glaring at him except Hiashi.
"You are obviously no better than Danzo." Tsume says with a growl
"Hold your tongue Inuzuka! You have no right to say that to the Hokage." Koharu says
"You know. I hope Kushina's son wins this. If you pull anything don't expect us to help you." Mikoto says she was not going to help them but knows her Husband would.
"Don't expect the Amkichi clan to help you either" Choza says
"Yeah what your doing is too troublesome. The Nara Clan won't help you." Shikaku says with Inoichi nodding.
"And neither will the Yamanaka clan." Inoichi says with Tsume and Shinbi now agreeing with the rest that does not want any part of this and will help the Hokage.
Hiashi remained silent.
"You all can't do this. You all are loyal to the Hokage!" Homura says
"We aren't loyal to a corrupt Kage who would abuse and force a child into labor. Especially my best friend's son!" Mikoto snarled getting up from her seat heading for the door with the rest of the clanheads
"Where are you going? I didn't tell you all the meeting is over!" Hiruzen says but Tsume glares at him.
"It is for us. We don't want to hear no more of this. If Wave's Daimyo kills you. Don't expect any of us to help you. You brought this on yourself. And the villagers of Konoha also brought this on themselves. If anything Naruto deserves Justice for what he has gone through." Tsume says with the other clan heads nodding except Hiashi who was the first to leave he needed to make plans on talking with Kurenai to not let that Boy or Hinata see each other.
The other clanheads left. Leaving the civilian council, the elders, Jiraiya and Hiruzen alone.
"They'll come around. They'll come around once Naruto is back in our grasp. Naruto will be ours. Jiraiya. I want both you and Kakashi to do WHATEVER it takes to beat Naruto in the chunin exams do you understand?" Hiruzen. Says with jiraiya nodding
The Clanheads will see reason on why Naruto must be brought back to them and to create a new clan in konoha loyal to them.
What neither Hiruzen knows or Jiraiya is that where lucy came from. Diclonius Children will tend to kill humans whether it's their caretakers or handlers, even their own parents if need to be. Since in Lucy's old world humanity fears the Diclonius would soon wipe out humanity which was why so many had been killed. Yet Lucy was this CLOSE to almost putting humanity to extinction.
Should the same thing repeat itself Lucy just may finish the job here in the elemental nations if something were to happen to her Son Naruto.
The last thing Konoha needs or the elemental nations. Is the Wrath of an angry Mother.
