A young boy, an abnormality, awakened his mutant genes and is thrown into the world of mutants. He must get stronger to survive the upcoming war for mutants. (M for violence, Gore and Lemons). (OC is the only character tag because this will involve most characters from the X-men)

An alternate origin story for how Nightcrawler came to the X-men. He has a couple of different careers in my version including a cruise ship entertainer and a soldier of fortune. It features several flashbacks, some nesting within others. It takes place in my AU invented for "Unguarded Moments" and was written in 2009 for a Nightscrawlers challenge, then revamped from 2021-2024.
