Episode 4 - Big Meanie Betty

Recording Studio - Tokyo

"So how it was your weekend, Kyo?" - Nakoruru

"Kinda boring..." - Kyo

"He almost got in trouble with the police for starting a fire in a restaurant." - Says Athena

"Hey!" - Kyo

"And I had to get him out of there before the police arrived, you're welcome." - Athena

"Well that is-*sigh* Yeah it is true." - Kyo

Suddenly Chizuru enters in the studio sporting a not so happy face while holding the mail in her hand

"This has to be a joke! This has to be a joke! This has to be a joke!" - Chizuru

"Now what?" - Kyo

"I don't know what has gotten into her." - Athena

"This has to be a joke!" - Chizuru

"What is a joke and why are you acting more strange than usual?" - Iori stops Kagura

"I got an invitation to an event." - Chizuru throws away the rest of the mail only rising up the one letter with the invitation to an event

"And? If they invited us to play there, shouldn't that be a good news?" - Athena

"See that's the problem we are invited, but the problem is who invited us!" - Chizuru holds her fist in anger looking annoyed

"I have never seen her this angry." - Athena whispers

"Hey at least she isn't angry with none of us now." - Kyo

"Give me that!" - Having enough of her weird attitude, Iori takes the letter

"No wait, Iori. Let me explain." - Chizuru

"In behalf of the Blanctorche house, we are happy to inform you, Chizuru Kagura and her band The Band Of Fighters that you're all invited to the Blanctorche cultural film and music festival this 25th of september to be a part of the music showcase, we hope to be able to count with you and your band, Ms. Kagura. It would be an honor to have you and your band there, for old times sake... Firmed by Elisabeth J. Blanctorche." - Iori

"Now I understand it... Betty Blanc." - Iori

"..." - Chizuru looks down

"I don't get it, who is this Betty Blanc?" - Terry

"She is the worst!" - Says Chizuru surprising everyone

"She made my life a living hell in high school." - Chizuru starts remembering her high school days as she is seen reading a book when suddenly

*Splassh* a pie lands on her face with said pie tainting her book as Kagura tries to remove the cream from the pie of her face only for a hand to impale the pie more towards her face

"(Hahahaha! You look very funny, Dumbass Kagura!)" - A fat woman of blue hair with a white sweater appears mocking Chizuru

"She was the worst, that big mean blue haired idiot!" - Chizuru says as she remembers the awful way the so called Big Meanie Betty treated her from stealing her money, taking her own water and pouring it on her own head, using her big size to threaten to hurt her if she didn't made her homework, mocking Chizuru for her lanky physique and always refering to her with the nickname of Dumbass Kagura

"(Dumbass Kagura! Dumbass Kagura! Dumbass Kagura! I told you to make my homework, Dumbass Kagura! Hahahaha, you think a man would want a lanky scarecrow like you, Dumbass Kagura? Don't make me laugh! Dumbass! Dumbass!)" - The words of Elisabeth make echo in Chizuru's mind

"AHHHHH!" - Chizuru screams before being slapped by Nakoruru

"Thank you." - Says Chizuru coming out of her trance to Nakoruru

"I hate this! We won't go there to this event, fuck her! I hate her with every fiber of my-" - Chizuru was about to torn the letter only for Athena to take it from her hands

"No wait! Don't you see it?" - Athena grabs the letter with a little mischievious smile

"See what?" - Chizuru raises an eyebrow

"If "Betty" decided to invite us, probably to please her guests, why not take advantage of this to get revenge for all those years?" - Athena makes Chizuru react realizing it is true

"Yes! It is true... I could take advantage of this to finally get paidback after all those years!" - Chizuru rubs her hands with a malicious smile as she and Athena smile at each other thinking of taking advantage of that

"I-I personally think we shouldn't do that... You know what they said, revenge is never good, it kills the soul and poisons it-" - Nakoruru

"SHUT UP NAKORURU!" - Both Athena and Chizuru scream at Nakoruru

"So Athena? What do you have in mind?" - Chizuru

*Whispers* - Athena whispers to Chizuru's ear making Kagura smile at hearing this idea

"Oh now we are talking! Yes, I like this!" - Chizuru

25th of September - Blanctorche's Cultural Film and Music Festival

A very elegant and big white mansion is seeing with alot of people talking in the gardens of the mansion and alot of important artists and guests being there already

"Wow, there's alot of people." - Kyo

"Obviously, Kusanagi. The Blanctorche are a very famous family from France that just happen to live in Tokyo. They have their connections." - Iori

"Hmph! This place is so lousy." - Maki

"There's the table showcasing the times when the show will happen, we have seven hours before the time comes. Go have fun, guys... I'll go to meet with *Sigh* her." - Chizuru and Iori leave Athena, Kyo, Maki, Terry and Nakoruru to wander around the place while she goes to meet with Elisabeth

"Oh, ice cream!" - Maki leaves to go to the ice cream place

"Follow me, Terry! I want to see that man who is acting like a statue!" - Nakoruru takes Terry to this that attraction

"..." - Kyo grabs the back of his head looking at the place and a figure of the statue of liberty made out of wax with an actual torch burning on her hand.

"DON'T! EVEN! THINK! ABOUT IT!" - Says Athena gritting her teeth to Kyo

"Fine, I won't start a fire here." - Kyo is disappointed

"Just come with me, lets look at those paintings there." - Athena takes Kyo taking him away from the statue

As Kagura walks alongside Iori to the inside of the mansion they see even more stuff like art, a good number of other popular artist who were invited and some dancers perfoming a number for the guests.

"Where's is this id-" - Chizuru suddenly is called

"Chizuru? Chizuru Kagura? Is that you?" - Ask a voice that makes Chizuru be angry just hearing it as this figure in the distance approaches

"If it isn't you Elisa-BETH?!" - Chizuru is shocked when she turns around, Kagura was expecting to meet with the fat bully who tortured her in her youth but what she found instead was a lean woman of blue hair sporting this classy blue dress with elegant white gloves, make up and a little flower decorating her hair

"Yes, is me Elisabeth. Elisabeth Blanctorche, we were classmates in high school, I see you still remember me." - Says Elisabeth looking down sporting some genuine regret as she grabs the back of her head

"I'm happy you decided to come, I was worried you wouldn't want to see me again after everything that happened in the past, I'm a big fan of your group and I knew I had to invite you the moment I started planning for the festival, but I certainly didn't expected you to come after-The awful way I treated you before." - Says Elisabeth surprising Chizuru acting with alot of genuine regret

"Well yes, you look different... Very, very different." - Chizuru is still shocked

"Yeah I know, is impressive what a more healthy diet does, right?" - Elisabeth

"Oh I see you did ended up with Iori..." - Elisabeth sees Yagami approaching Kagura

"Hmph! You look different." - Says Iori with his usual tone

"And I see you haven't changed at all, Iori. At least I'm very happy you two are together now." - Elisabeth

"Oh by the way, I do have someone I want you two to meet. This are my husband Duo Lon from China and my little adoptive brother Ash." - Says Elisabeth presenting her step-brother and her husband

"Hello." - Says a pale man sporting a black tuxedo with such a desinterested tone

"Hellooo!" - Ash triest to shake hands with Yagami only for Iori to ignore him

"Whatever." - Iori

"Is a pleasure to meet you two." - Chizuru

"Maybe we should leave our men to know each other better, come with me, Chizuru. There's alot of stuff I want to talk with you." - Elisabeth

"So the place is very nice, isn't it? What a great party right? Right?" - Says Ash only to be ignored by both Duo Lon and Iori

"*Sigh* I'll go see what Shen is doing." - Annoyed and not wanting to deal with both grumpy men, Ash leaves

"So you're Kagura's boyfriend?" - Duo Lon

"Unfortunately." - Iori

"And you're Blanctorche's husband?" - Iori

"Yes." - Duo Lon

"My most sincere condolences." - Iori leaves Duo Lon alone

"So how has been life?" - Asks Elisabeth

"Fine, you know how is Iori. He keep making our previous band members leave. I had to put hands on it and get a new band to save our careers, I'm surprised of the success we have been enjoying lately." - Chizuru

"You know I believe Iori did right in scaring away the previous band members, this new band of yours. Is just amazing, you managed to get an star like Athena out of retiriment and the Kusanagi boy is great touching the bass, and don't even get me started on the blondie and the little girl, they have alot of talent." - Elisabeth

"Would you believe me if I told you I meet Nakoruru on the streets playing with a very broken piano?" - Chizuru

"No kidding?" - Elisabeth

"No, it is true." - Chizuru

"Wow, see you have always had that luck. How is your little sister doing by the way, I saw her earlier eating an ice cream." - Elisabeth

"She is fine, you know how annoying she can be but is my little sister." - Chizuru

"I know that feeling, Ash can be so annoying sometimes but I wouldn't replace him for anything on the world." - Elisabeth

"Same, I always wanted a brother, so when Maki was born... I was actually very happy to carry her on my arms." - Chizuru

"Hehehehe." - Both laugh

"You know, Chizuru. I invited you not only because I wanted to impress my guest with your band and because I'm a big fan." - Elisabeth

"That wasn't the reason?" - Chizuru

"No, I wanted to talk with you after so long, you see. I-I wanted to apologize with you." - Says Elisabeth surprising Chizuru

"You wanted to apologize?!" - Chizuru

"Ok, who are you and what did you do to the Elisabeth I knew?!" - Chizuru

"Did those Mars People from the news kidnapped you and replaced your brain or what?" - Chizuru

"No eheheheh! No I'm being totally serious, I was awful with you back when we were in high school, I was the worst. It wasn't until high school ended that I came to realize something." - Elisabeth

"And that is?" - Chizuru

"That I wouldn't see my friend Chizuru anymore. Alot of things happened after high school, I stopped seeing the world as I used to. I got into a car accident where I almost died." - Elisabeth

"Oh, Elisabeth-I I'm sorry, I didn't knew that." - Chizuru

"No, is alright. I think I probably deserved that, you see I wasn't only awful with you, I was awful with everyone, even my poor parents. So much that it hurts me to actually look back at how I acted, I made your life a hell and I was the worst. I did alot of terrible things to you that I can't thing of a way to repair you for it." - Elisabeth

"There's something you could do actually." - Chizuru

"Yes?" - Elisabeth

"Why? Just tell me why you always acted like that with me? Sure I wasn't the only person you bullied, but I was the one who got the worse treatment of everyone and you're not going to say that I'm lying isn't it?" - Chizuru

"No, you're right. I was especially awful with you." - Elisabeth

"But there's indeed a reason for it." - Elisabeth

"I-I was jealous of you, I always was." - Elisabeth

"You? Jealous of me?" - Chizuru is unable to believe it

"Yes it is true, when I meet you and eventually with time, I ended up realizing that I didn't liked you at first because I couldn't stand the mere idea of there being another woman who was very similar to me existing." - Elisabeth

"That's the reason? Did we were similar?" - Chizuru

"Oh please Chizuru, we like the same type of stuff, people used to believe we were related because of how we acted, we always ended up in the same clubs, we readed the same books, watched the same movies, we always liked the same stuff. Hell we like the same type of men, just look at Duo Lon and Iori. We are very similar, more than I liked to admit. I feel that perhaps we could had been sisters in another earth. But back in the day, I couldn't stand that. I hated the mere fact that another person like me existed and I felt jealous of you, especially because you were more pretty than me. I was so insecure and I invested alot of the time insulting you and trying to make you feel insecure so I could feel so sure and good with myself. I never took into consideration how awful I was, how I used to hurt your feelings and I made your life a misery... All because I was so insecure of myself and jealous of you." - Elisabeth sheds some tears

"I want to apologize with you... For everything. Please, could you ever forgive me, Chizuru? I was a bitch and I hurted you really bad, but I have another way to repair you." - Elisabeth shows Chizuru a paper for Kagura's surprise

"Is that?" - Chizuru gasps covering her mouth shocked

"A contract with Tokyo Waves, the biggest music chain of Japan. I got some contacts and I thought I could use my connections to get you and your band a spot, is a unique opportunity for your group and while I know this can't fix the awful pain I made you suffer. Is the only way I can repair you." - Elisabeth looks down with shadows covering her eyes as more tears are shed

"Oh, Elisabeth. You shouldn't have. I forgive you my dear friend!" - Chizuru leaves her hatred aside to hug Elisabeth who answers huging Kagura back with a smile as she keeps sheding tears

"Thank you, Chizuru. I missed you alot." - Elisabeth

"Is amazing, isn't it?" - Athena takes Kyo to see this big scale aquarium with small cute fish moving taking different formations

"Yes, is actually pretty impressive." - Kyo

"You know, this remind me of that song. You know what song." - Athena

"Yes, I know what you're talking about." - Kyo

"How it went again?" - Athena

"Just follow my lead." - Kyo

"No, you follow my lead." - Athena fixes her voice

"Hehehe, ok." - Kyo

As the time approaches for the concert

"Is almost the turn of your band, Chizuru. This is going to be great, I'm a big fan!" - Says Elisabeth being hyper to heard Kagura's band play

"Yes, I think the song we are going to play is a good one. I frankly don't remember well to be honest but we practiced hard for this day, Elisabeth." - Chizuru

"And ladies and gentlemen, our next group for tonight's show is Ms. Kagura's band, the popular and hot group of the season... The Band Of FIghters!" - Says Elisabeth's father as Athena and co arrive to the main stage

Alot of hyped screams are heard as Athena and co appear

"Hello everyone! Is a pleasure to be here with you today, we are honored to had been invited by our lovely hostess... Ms. Blanctorche." - Athena

"And as a token of gratitude we want to dedicate the next song to Ms. Blanctorche." - Says Athena making Elisabeth being surprised as Betty's eyes are replaced by two stars

"A song for me?!" - Elisabeth is surprised and can't wait to heard it

"The lyrics for this song wouldn't had been made if it wasn't for our manager Chizuru inspired us, so here's tonight's hit." - Athena signals Kyo and the rest to start playing

"Whose the witch of blue hair who everyone hates?" - Athena

"Wait what?" - Elisabeth

"Who is the annoying ball of hatred who makes everything awful!" - Athena

"I can tell you what's her name but be careful to never meet her." - Athena

"Her name is... Big Meanie Betty!" - Athena
