Now then, let's begin.

[Play: Polaris cover By Natewantstobattle]

"I've decided I would follow my heart. Promise yours will always be near me!"

A green shooting star crosses the night sky, and time fast forwards to daytime. A red shoe hits the image, showing it was a water puddle. Izuku runs down the street, notebook in hand. Heroes fight against villains on the street, and Izuku watches with bright eyes, but then he holds his head in pain, and the scene glitches out.

"What if you can take the chance to save a life? But you could only save them by losing everything?"

Now Izuku is surrounded by Heartless, thirteen figures looming over him. His eyes widened in horror.

"But if I could go back and give up everything I had, I would never hide my scars for anything. No, not for no one.

The scene glitches out again, and Izuku is in a burning street. He sees Katsuki being held hostage by the Sludge Villain and rushes to help.

"It's so hard to walk on water everyday."

The scene glitches again, and a picture frame with broken glass falls in slow motion into a black void. There are three more teens huddled with Izuku, who is laughing, but the shattered glass prevents anyone from seeing who they are.

"If I fall, you know I would swim through oceans of my tears to be with you!"

It glitches to the streets on fire, and Izuku stretches his hand forward as if offering it to Katsuki when the villain attacks.

"Say goodbye. I don't have the strength to let it all end! I would give all and everything if we could mend. All I wanted was for you to stay and not disappear. I've decided I will follow my heart! Promise yours will always be near me!"

Izuku slashes his arm aside and summons Heroes Rising. Izuku jumps up and brings his Keyblade down on the villain. All Might suddenly appears and punches the villain so strongly that he creates rain. The screen goes white.

"It feels like every day I'm fighting for my life. But I; I'm never backing down, I'm gonna prove I'm strong for you."

The scene cuts to the middle of a sunset-lit road. Izuku and Katsuki argue, the camera spins, and Toshinori Yagi stands before Izuku, offering him a hand covered in a multitude of lights. Izuku extends his hand to accept it. They fly off to a green light, and everything goes white.

"I don't think I'm afraid at all to lose and fail a fight. I was so afraid I might be losing you!"

The scene changes to Izuku running as U.A. Robots pop up in the way, then black bug-like creatures and villains jump in his way.

"I won't say die! You won't see me running away! 'Cause this life It means more to me than everything! All I ask, stay right next to me and don't disappear! I've decided that I won't give up on my heart!"

Izuku summons his Keyblade and Full Cowling and dashes at them, his classmates appearing and following. They run past, taking down the enemies everywhere until Izuku is face to face with Shigaraki. They clash with one another, with Shigaraki having a dark aura and Izuku having a green one.

"I'm not strong for the power or the fame or the glory! Those don't mean a thing! I just wanted to be stronger, so I could hold you closer! Next to me!"

The villain lunges at Izuku with a hand covered in dark particles while Izuku winds up a fist lit up with green lightning. Their clash caused the screen to go white.

"Even if I end up losing everything, I won't forget that I had you."

Izuku is standing by himself on what appears to be Dagoba Municipal Beach Park, but the screen glitches again. Izuku is wearing different clothes and different red shoes with a mysterious teen standing there with him. Then, two more teens suddenly walked in, but the screen glitched a little, preventing anyone from seeing their identities. However, it is noticeable that they are on a different beach and staring out at sea.

The three mysterious teens suddenly disappear, and the scene changes to a black void. Izuku is wearing an outfit similar to his hero costume and holding the giant key. He's standing on a giant glass pillar.

"Say goodbye! I don't have the strength to let it all end! I would give all and everything if we could mend. All I wanted was you to stay and not disappear! I've decided that I will follow my heart! Promise yours will always be right near me!"

Before anyone could see what was on top, it shattered. Izuku falls into oblivion and closes his eyes as if accepting his fate. His entire being suddenly started to glow before turning into a ball of light. The ball of light vanishes into the darkness, and everything goes white.

"Even in the dark night, I feel your heart lights my way!"

When the light dies down, Izuku, in civilian clothes, is sitting on the beach, blue ice cream in hand. Eri sits at his side, then Katsuki on the other, and his friends join him one by one.

"Light my way!"

The camera then zooms on the sky and the stars that are shining in it. The screen goes dark for the final time.

Everyone in the theater stared at the screen, slacked-jawed. For what seemed like an hour.

It was finally Izuku who broke the silence "...that….was…." The boy was so speechless that he didn't know what to say.

Though it seemed his words were enough to snap them out of their shock. All of them were yelling in excitement.

"That was amazing!"

"Did you see how awesome we looked!"

"That was so manly!"

"What was all that?!"

"Who were those people?!"

"Who were the people next to Midoriya?!"

"I don't know, but did you see how he swung that giant car key?!"

"Why did he have that key in the first place?

"Did you see how magnifique I looked?"

"Deku, did you see that?! That was awesome!"

"We looked like we came out of an action movie!"

Izuku was stunned as he stared. "Those were those black things I saw in my dream…And that was the other me…I'm so confused. But that was amazing!" The boy sat in stunned silence

Then his shoulder was gently shaken as he looked to his right.

Eri looked at him, an excited smile on her. "Mr. Deku, did you see that?! It was like the show you put on all over again. It was dark and scary, and it looked all broken and weird. But watching you and your friends fight and win against those monster bugs and we had ice cream together was so fun to watch!" She said, practically bouncing in her seat

All Izuku could do was watch the little girl jump up and down and look so happy. He smiled and rubbed her head affectionately.

"Glad you enjoyed it, Eri."

RIIIIIIP!

The sudden sound of something tearing apart and the loud grunting and other noises dragged everyone's attention. When everyone turned to see what the commotion was, they saw a female purple dragon and a giant wolf drag what seemed to be a mobile food cart out of a blueish portal. Sleppt was right behind them, unsurprised by the commotion in front of him. Strangely enough. Dark had a metal glove of sorts on her hand.

Tsuyu, Rikido, and Mineta recognized her, though the midget was utterly horrified upon seeing her.

"Who is that?" Asked Ochako as Dark and the giant wolf find a good spot and drop the chains they were using to drag the cart.

"Ribbit. That's Dark." Tsuyu said, putting her finger on her chin. "Though, we don't know who that wolf is."

"Wonder what she's doing, though." Murmured Rikidou, though he was suspicious as he gave an eyeful at the food cart.

Once satisfied, Dark turned to face them. She had a neutral expression, and she crossed her hands on her chest.

"Lords and Mistresses, may I please have your attention?!" Once she noticed that she had everyone's attention, she continued patting on the food cart. "This here is a mobile food cart. I will be responsible for your snacks during your time in the theater."

"I have classic snacks from your world, but I also offer tasty snacks from different parts of the multiverse. And don't worry, these are something all of you will enjoy, so no worries about eyehole cereal or maggot rice." Her lips twitched a little when a few of them had disgusted faces.

"The rules are simple." Dark said, "You finish whatever you get, no waste on food. And you can only get food during break times. So no food during the production of….." She glanced at Bola with a look, "...whatever our Lord wants to show you. And the final rule is simple. I will always close an hour and a half before lunch or dinner. As to ensure that you don't spoil your appetite."

"Also, I have a menu here if none of you know what you want. I encourage you to try some other snacks the multiverse has to offer." Dark huffed. "I don't have a favorite. In my homeworld, the saying is, 'so long as it's edible, I'll eat it.'"

It was then the giant wolf stepped in. Their fur was as white as snow, but she reached around half the food cart's height. They had a saddle and a large metal spiked collar. They had an armored head, with two long, sharp teeth growing from their lower canines. All four of her wrists were wrapped in rope, and her eyes had a green glint that unnerved a few of the children.

Dark was unbothered by the wolf's unnerving aura and instead petted them on the neck. The wolf released a soft rumble as they leaned in on their owner's neck.

"This is Astrid." Dark bluntly said, "I raised her since she was a cub, and now she's as powerful a companion as I can ask for. She will also be my assistant."

Astrid looked at 1-A and glanced at Dark with a look. Dark merely rolled his eyes, knowing what the wolf wanted to clear out.

"I suggest that all of you don't try to pet her either. Unless you gained her trust or you're a child with a good soul, she would rip your head off your shoulders before you would blink."

Many of them gulped and tried to go as far away from Astrid as they could.

Dark then glanced at the food cart and walked to the door. She pulled out a key from her pocket and opened the door. She didn't blink when she saw someone there, eating peanut butter cookies.

"There you are, young Chibi." Murmured Dark softly, kneeling, surprising the lot of them. "Do you have any idea how much Lord Kai was worried about you? He called me a while ago to see if I've seen you."

There was some shuffling and a huff. Dark let out a small huff of amusement and gestured for the person to get out.

With a bit of pout, the girl left the food cart, still munching on her leftover cookies before she took one look at the students and teachers as they finally got a good look at her.

The girl was about just an inch taller than Eri, with short white hair and what seemed like a mask on her face as she moved it to munch on her cookie.

Though it seemed the eye holes emoted and changed with her, the jury was out.

Her arms seemed to have wing-like features connecting to her arms to make a feathery cape thy was dark brown at the top and gained a tanned color as it went down, and under it, her dress and shoes did the same, being a dark brown the top and a bronze-ish yellow at the bottom.

As the girl felt herself being stared at, she had a faint blush on her mask.

Nezu looked at her, peeking up, "So this is the Chibi girl Mr. Kai mentioned."

Toshinori also looks at her, "She seems certainly young to be staying here."

Inko, however, had something different in her mind, "She's so cute!"

Without a word, Chibi bolted in the opposite direction before she quickly climbed Sleppt and sat on his shoulders. She peeked at the group from behind the man.

"Everyone, this is Chibi. She will be my temporary assistant for the time being," Dark gestured to the little girl, "She is not mine, but rather…a friend of mine is her caretaker."

"He is also very protective of her. So if anyone does anything," she glanced at Katsuki, "or says something offensive," she turned to Mineta, "All of you will suffer his wrath. All of you better pray you come out alive with your head intact."

Almost everyone gulped while Bola cackled silently on his perch. Dark shook her head and then gestured to Sleppt, "For the first round, all of you come here so you can take a look at the menu and order. But if you want an order that usually takes a while to be made, tell Sleppt here, and he will give me the order. It should be ready by the time the next showing starts."

Sleppt pulled out a chair and sat down. Chibi got comfortable sitting on his shoulders, which the butler didn't mind. Astrid circled the food cart before finally laying down, curling protectively off it. Dark rolled her eyes when she heard soft snores.

Dark went inside the food cart, and some were shuffling around. Then a few moments later, she came out again with a paper bag having the name Eri on it. She spread her wings and flew over the students.

Some of them ducked and yelped while others watched it happen. Eventually, Dark landed gracefully in front of Izuku and Eri. Eri flinched as Dark folded her wings. The poor girl clung to Izuku, a little afraid.

Dark knelt in front of her and offered her the paper bag. "I apologize for frightening you, young Mistress." She murmured softly, "But I bring this little gift."

Eri was still a little scared and clinging to Izuku, but with Dark giving her the gentlest expression she could, she gained some courage. Eri removed a hand from Izuku and grasped the paper bag.

Dark took a few steps back and gestured to the bag. Eri, while hesitant, opened the bag and peeked inside. Then, her eyes brightened, and a smile grew on her face as she pulled out what was inside.

"A candy apple!"

Izuku took one good look at the candies apple. Sure enough, it was an apple with a red sugar coating. Though difficult to see from the red layer, Izuku noticed on top that there were vertical yellow stripes on the red apple.

Dark chuckled, "Indeed, young Mistress, though this isn't any ordinary candied apple. This sweet delicacy was made using a striped apple. Grown from my garden."

Eri took a bite, and the sweetness overpowered her taste buds, making her smile in delight. "It's so sweet!"

Dark chuckled, "Yes, not the sweetest apple I can offer you, but this is close enough."

Ochako looked confused, "But wouldn't it be better to give her the sweetest?"

Eri continued eating her sweet treat, not paying attention to the conversation. Dark gave a glance to the gravity girl, her expression going neutral.

"Sure. if you want her to die." Dark said courtly. There were a lot of gasps, and Ochako paled.

"W-what do you mean?" Izuku stuttered with wide eyes.

Dark turned to him, "There are many fruits in the multiverse, from the most rotten to the sweetest. I found the sweetest apple this multiverse had to offer a few millennia ago."

"But?" Stressed Ochako.

"At a price that a mortal will not survive." She said bluntly, "Those apples are the sweetest of the bunch that your brain and taste buds would not comprehend nor handle. I remember meeting an honorable warrior a long time ago."

"She wanted to find this fruit because legends say that this fruit grows faster than any other crop." Dark sighed, "She was not wrong. She brought the ancient fruit to her village in hopes of feeding her people, who suffered a food shortage. But they all died as soon as they consumed the apples."

Everyone was silent as they heard her tale.

"Human mortals die eating that apple; it might as well be poison." Dark sighed, "I ate the apple too, but it reacted differently to me. I am a special case for reasons I won't say, but because the fruit was so delicious, I was aggressive to everyone around me. It took a few centuries, but I eventually fought off my addiction."

"How?" Asked Tenya, "If what you say about this fruit is true, how did you manage to overcome it?"

Dark huffed. "It's not something I can explain. But nearly all of them were destroyed by a goddess. And I'll leave it like that." She crossed her arms over her chest, "But because you mortals can't eat the fruit anyway, I decided to grow different breeds of apples the multiverse had to offer." Her eyes landed on Eri, who was finishing her treat.

"The stripped apple was the closest sweet fruit I can offer the young Mistress."

The silence was paralyzing until Dark sprouted her wings and returned to her stall. As she landed, she turned to face the group while retracting her wings. "But that's enough of me. The snack cart is open. And I promise you that all the ingredients are edible to humans."

Everyone looked at one another, unsure if they should trust her words. Though thankfully, someone decided to break the tension.

"Yo, Dark! Send me a fry portion, please." Bola yelled down from his balcony.

"Just a minute!" The dragoness warrior put on an apron and went inside. She picked up a cardboard box and filled it with crispy fries, "You want the usual?" She shouted back.

"Yup!"

Dark then splashed some cheddar over it and sprinkled bacon cubes on the portion. The heavenly smell made some of the audience's stomachs growl. If the guy were responsible for all he would eat, it should be safe, right?

To the surprise of the 1-A kids, Dark spread her wings, jumped straight to the balcony, and handed Eight his snack.

"Thanks, Dark." The armored man leaned closer and whispered before she could jump back down, "Save the special menu after this first section. Can't have anyone in a food coma now."

The dragoness rolled her eyes and huffed, "Very well. Should I say no to the other guest too?"

Bola shrugged, "Good luck with that. Just say to her that no spoilers are allowed." She nodded and left the man with his snack. He, somehow, started to eat with his helmet still on.

While everyone was confused about how he managed that, the teens saw that the food was safe and didn't wait for one mero second to rush in and start to ask for food. They were careful not to aggravate or awaken Astrid. Dark expertly managed the chaos while serving them, happy they overcame the initial distrust to enjoy her cooking.

While they were all distracted, as the more energetic students dragged the more reserved ones into the chaos, Bola used his vanishing trick to pop out from behind Nezu's seat.

"Hello, lady and gentlemen." He waved, not bothered by the heroes' sharp reactions or the startled yelp of Inko. "Can I ask for your thoughts on the intro? My friends and I worked hard on it."

Nezu, always the pragmatic individual, brushed off the scare and hummed in thought, "It was interesting, with many points that had my attention. As you called it an 'intro,' I suppose that was a more dramatic and artistic-centered peek of events, no?"

"Exactly!" Eight dramatically pointed a fry at Nezu, "That was a peek at the events of the 'first season' of what I plan to show you all."

"Which events?" Aizawa asked flatly.

"Simple, my dear sleep-deprived hobo." Bola ignored the pointed glare shot at him. "I am going to show you all another universe! That way, you all can see different possibilities, events you may have missed, and most of all, another end to your story!"

Nezu hummed again, "So the multiverse theory was right, how wonderful!"

Toshinori, who had been quiet until now, shot the armored man a concerned glance, "Can I ask you if that part with me and Young Midoriya is…." He trailed off.

Bola snorted, "Yup! If the kids want to understand, they'll need context." He cackled impishly, "Sorry, my good sir, but the cat is about to get out the proverbial bag!" With that, he jumped back behind Nezu's chair, reappearing on his balcony as if nothing had happened.

Once everyone had their respective snack and drinks, they all sat down. Some of them had classic snacks like popcorn or candy. But there are a few new dishes like meat on a bone or ice currants buns.

Katsuki, in particular, wanted their world's special Hellfire cola. A regular cola created with dragon peppers until Dark remarked that there was another world that made a beverage much hotter than any mortal can consume, that typically demons only drank.

He was up to the challenge and took a bottle. Upon looking at it, the drink itself looked like molten lava. Everyone who noticed its containment looked wary of it. It didn't help that Dark remarked, "Mortals who normally drink this burn to ashes. So don't blame me if you end up dying once you leave this place."

It was so spicy it felt as if his mouth was on fire. This shit was better than the Hellfire cola, and there was no way in hell he would ever drink it again.

"You're safe now." Said Dark, giving him a dozen of the drink when Katsuki demanded more, "But you better hope your body digests this stuff before you leave. I remember when a dishonorable warrior drank this in the delusion of power. His skin and flesh melted before his bones became ashes."

It didn't deter Katsuki, but he had to fight off a few of his classmates to stop him from drinking the stuff.

Aizawa wanted a jelly packet, but Dark gave him a look and said, "If you were to live in my world, you wouldn't survive with little meat in your bones. Eat actual food."

In the end, he was given a plate of hoisin hoglin buns and black coffee. He was skeptical about eating an animal he wasn't accustomed to.

"Hoglins are no different from actual pigs, so there aren't any negative effects on humans." Dark waved away his worries, "The only difference is that they are born in a world that could be considered hell."

That didn't reassure him, but they did taste like pork. Nezu happily ate a giant wheel of cheese with a custom tea brew.

"Alright, people!" Bola called out once everyone had sat down with their snacks. "I had to pause 'cause I knew all of you were going to run off like that."

A few people had the decency to look sheepish. Looking at the screen, it was dark with a pause sign in a blocky font, the letters in yellow color.

"Now!" Bola was almost vibrating with excitement, quite the achievement for someone wearing heavy armor made of stone, "On to the real fun!"

Then the play button flashed before a new adventure began.

[Play: Dive into the Heart]

Between the cosmos, there are countless worlds, each one different, but all share one destiny, one sky.

But that's not what this story is about, this is a story about a brave light who made the ultimate sacrifice—a hero who will find himself on the path of greatness one more time.

This is the story of Midoriya Izuku, the Keyblade Master, the Heroic Thunderbolt, and the Symbol of Peace.

Nezu rubbed his chin thoughtfully. While confused about what the narrator said, a few students were excited. Katsuki narrowed his eyes, almost challenging the narrator to prove him wrong.

Toshinori was beaming. If it is true that what they are about to witness is a different world altogether, he couldn't help but be curious about how the other Izuku would rise to become a hero.

Izuku remained unsure and nervous as he heard the narrator's words. Though the Heroic Thunderbolt did sound like a cool title.

He wondered what they meant by Keyblade Master, though.

Inko was a little worried on the part of the ultimate sacrifice.

However, Kyoka seemed interested in the music, and she couldn't help but feel it fit the mood well.

"Dive into the heart, huh?" Kyoka hummed thoughtfully, "Not my usual type of music, but not bad."

A scattered dream that's like a far-off memory, a far-off memory that's like a scattered dream.

Izuku's head shot up with surprise; that was his voice!

Katsuki simply sat and stared, confused, "Why does this start with Deku?" He muttered to himself while staring at the screen, "And why is the nerd speaking in fucking riddles."

"Wow, Deku!" Gushed Ochako, "You sound so mysterious there. It's honestly kind of cool."

Iida looked toward him. "I concur, even if it is odd to hear you speak in such a cryptic way."

Izuku simply scratched the back of his head. "I honestly don't know why I'm doing that in there." He looked at the screen, "But now I'm even more curious."

I want to line the pieces up, yours and mine.

I'm falling into darkness, drifting in a void for what feels like hours, but it could be only seconds.

In every direction that I look, there is only black, and the silence is deafening. I wouldn't even distinguish up from down if I was not falling.

Denki then again broke the silence, "Hey, are we sure this is Midoriya?" He jabbed Hanta to his right with an elbow, "It kinda sounds like Tokoyami wrote this."

Kyoka, having overheard, jabbed Denki with one of her jacks, making him cry in pain. Fumikage merely grunted; no one was sure if he was offended or if he agreed.

The only thing I can see is myself. But who am I? You are questioning; well, to answer this, I have to come back a little.

Two hundred years ago, a baby capable of emitting light was born in China. That was the first documented case of quirks.

Quirks, superpowers only seen in comic books, became real overnight.

Katsuki then piped up, "That's the nerd, alright." He said and leaned back before looking at the boy with a bored expression, "I only know one guy that would talk about quirks like that"

Izuku scratched the back of his head in embarrassment while Ochako giggled and Tenya's lips twitched. A few other classmates expressed their amusement through laughter or facial expression.

Izuku slumped, "I can't help it…."

Chaos befell the world. Governments crumbled, riots were widespread, and it almost seemed like all hope was lost.

But when darkness rises, there is always a light that shines just as bright.

Heroes. People with brave hearts and a desire to do what is right.

"Hell yeah!" Cried Mina, jumping out of her seat with her hands up high.

"Ashido! Sit down and don't yell." Aizawa scolded the girl.

She did as told and pouted with crossed arms.

Years have passed since then, and heroics isn't just an ideal. It's a profession, a career, but for some, it is still a dream.

My name is Midoriya Izuku, and my dream is to be a hero.

But not all men are created equal.

That's a reality I learned at the age of four.

It was then the past had hit Izuku and Katsuki like they were run over by a truck, and they would have so much to explain.

"Ooh…"

"Shit"

I'm quirkless. From that day on, it seemed as if the world was against my dream.

That caused the class to pause.

"You better give up."

To put me down...

"I'm sorry, Izuku, I'm so sorry."

To make me believe I am worthless...

"You're useless, Deku."

Everyone's brains had finally caught up, and the questions started pouring out. Bola predicted this as he put a pause on the screen. Inko looked disgruntled as she remembered her son's quirklessness.

It wasn't…her proudest moment.

"What the hell was all that?!" Denki blurted out.

"Yeah, that was all so mean!" Toru said, now shaking her invisible fists at the screen.

"What do they mean by quirkless? We've seen Midoriya's quirk," Tsuyu said, looking at the boy with a curious eye.

Ejiro looked to his ashen blonde friend "Bakugo, was that you?!" He looked at him, his face a bit unsure, "Why did you sound like that?"

The boy didn't answer; he just sat there uncharacteristically silent, which freaked out Kirishima and the rest of the Bakusquad. "C'mon, man, you're starting to freak me out here!"

Izuku watched the chaos unfold as he struggled to let the words out.

"Midoriya, please tell us what this means if you know." Izuku looked to his right as Shouto was staring at him with an equally shocked expression.

Ochako then perked up, "Yeah, Deku, this doesn't make any sense. We've all seen your quirk; why is it saying you're quirkless?" She looked at him with concern.

Iida then looked at his friend. "Yes, Midoriya, please explain. This isn't making sense so far." Iida began to theorize, "Perhaps you were a late bloomer? Or is this a difference of this other universe?" He then reached over to him after seeing his distress in the chaos, "If you were embarrassed by that fact somehow, then you shouldn't be no one will judge you for it," he said reassuringly

Then the class began to agree.

"Yeah, Deku, if that's true, you could've just told us," Ochako said with a smile on her face.

Shouto looked at his classmate and friend, "You can open up to us, Midoriya; we'll be here for you."

"Yeah, man, we won't judge." Ejiro smiled.

"Yeah, dude, you can relax. We're chill if that's the case!" Chimed in Denki.

Izuku was at a loss as he looked at everyone. Even his mother was stunned and concerned as she looked at her son's face.

Then he felt a tug at his sleeve as he looked down to see Eri.

She looked at him and was concerned, though she was mostly confused. "Mr. Deku, what does Quirkless mean….are you hurt?" She said as she gazed up at him with worry in her eyes.

Izuku began to look around the room frantically as he looked at All Might, who was also quite panicked. "I-I-I j-just," Izuku couldn't get the words out as everyone stared at him.

It was then that Katsuki decided he had enough.

"EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP!" Katsuki yelled out of nowhere, causing nearly everyone to jump and stare at him.

"Bakugo, what the hell?!" Denki shouted.

Kyoka was the most disgruntled as she was sitting near the blond. She rubbed her ears in pain, "Yeah, did you have to be so loud?" She grumbled and crossed her hands over her chest.

He seemingly ignored them, though. "Deku!" He said, gaining the boy's attention, "Don't sit here and try to lie about this shit. It'll blow up in your face!" He finished looking him dead in the eye. "Understand, Nerd?!"

Izuku watched for a second before his face steeled, "Yeah….thanks, Kacchan," he said, giving a smile.

Katsuki said nothing but nodded before he did as best he could to glance at Toshinori without anyone noticing.

Seeing the boy's demeanor and him staring, he could easily tell what the boy wanted to say next, so he gave the blonde boy a nod. From what Eight had said, their secret wouldn't survive much longer.

Getting his confirmation from Toshinori, he then looked to everyone else, "And to all of you, be fucking patient and keep fucking watching! I'm fucking sure it'll be explained later!" With that, the boy sat down and went quiet.

"If you guys are done, can we continue?" Bola shouted from his balcony, "We won't be able to see much if you guys descend into chaos every five seconds."

"Sorry!" Hanta shouted back, speaking for the class.

"Don't worry! Just know that most questions you probably have will be explained, one way or the other." He cackled ominously, "Now, back to it!" The man snapped his fingers and unpaused the screen.

But not even the world can stop me from reaching my dreams because I know that I will become a hero.

Why am I falling for what seems like forever? How did I get here? I can't remember.

I start to lose hope; when will I ever get out of here? A light hits my eyes, looking up (down?) I find myself standing on a pillar cutting through the darkness. On that pillar, a stained glass image of...ME?!

"Wow."

While confusing, they had to admit that the stained glass work was beautiful. The detail involved was beyond this world.

Momo had stars in her eyes, "Such masterful work."

Kyoka then spoke up, "Yeah, but look at Midoriya. Compared to him, that glass must be massive."

I'm in a green tracksuit with white shoulder pads and gloves. The gloves go all the way to my elbows, looking more like gauntlets than gloves. On my neck is a metallic mouthpiece with some holes on it. I wore black knee pads and my usual red shoes, but with what looked like metallic black soles.

"Isn't that your hero costume, Midoriya?" Shoto asked, having not seen much of it in their training lately with their working studies.

"Yes, but that's the new version I got for the provisional license exam." Izuku looked closer, "But something's different."

In the image, I see myself reaching my right arm out like I'm reaching for something… or someone.

On my left hand is what looks like a… giant car key?

A blade?

"Beyond that, I mean." The boy chuckled awkwardly.

It had a green body (blade) with a silver edge, a black handguard, and a red handle. A silver chain was attached at the base with a charm that looked like a silver star with two lightning bolts crossed in the middle to form an X.

Below my right arm were two disks, one with five pictures displayed in five directions. At the bottom were two people with mutant quirks, a duck at the left and a dog at the right.

In the middle two, there was a girl with straight hair and a kind smile. And the other was a boy with long hair and a smirk.

The top and final one held a boy with spiky hair and a sunny smile, but the strangest thing is that he felt...familiar.

Katsuki simply let out, "Who the hell are those extras?" He then looked down at Izuku, "You know them, Deku?"

Izuku simply looked up at him and shrugged, "No idea, Kacchan."

The other disk was void of any images, but I felt they would eventually be filled.

Looking around, I can see just how breathtaking the stained glass image is. I heard footsteps behind me. I panicked for some reason and knew that people shouldn't be here. Turning around, I met face to face with…MYSELF?!

"Oh my fucking god! There are two of them!" Katsuki facepalmed. One Deku was more than he could put up with.

"There are two, Mr. Dekus?" Eri tilted her head. Why didn't she see the other one before? Was he hiding? She looked around, but the only thing she found weird was how Mr. Eight seemed to be holding back his laughter while shrinking into himself.

Standing before me was someone exactly like me, but their clothes were different. He (me?) is in a white t-shirt under a dark green jacket with a hood shaped with bunny ears, loose black pants, red shoes, and two belts crossing and forming an X with some type of heart emblem.

But the most significant difference is his smile. It was brilliant and peaceful, as if there was nothing wrong in the world, and that is enough reason to smile.

"W-Who are y-you," I asked nervously.

He laughed as if the answer was obvious, "What type of question is that? I'm you," he said, putting his hands behind his head.

"No shit Sherlock!" Katsuki snarked.

"He walked on that one." Hanta snorted.

"Can things start to make sense, please?" Mezo held the bridge of his nose with one of his hands. He was never a fan of having things thrown at him without explanation.

"Hey, at least that Midori has a better fashion sense!" Mina couldn't resist the chance to poke some fun at the boy's expense.

"That's not exactly a hard achievement." Toru giggled.

"I'm not that bad, right?" A downcast Izuku asked his friends, who couldn't meet his eyes. He slumped in defeat while Eri patted his back.

I jumped back; this was getting too weird, "W-What?! How c-can you b-be me?"

"I am, simple as that, but that's not what you are here. You're here to get back something you lost."

"The one getting lost is me." Denki rolled his eyes, "Midoriya, can you stop the cryptic nonsense?"

"It isn't me! Well, not this me?" He groaned, "Yeah, that's really confusing."

"Tell me about it." Denki groaned, rubbing his head from the oncoming headache.

"S-Something I lost, w-what?" What could I possibly lose, and how me-HE (that is so confusing) know that I lost something?

The copycat placed a hand over his chest, "Something that you've kept close to your heart but had to give away to protect the people you cared about the most."

"A-And what could i-it be?" What could I possibly sacrifice for someone, and who the someone might be?

"That would just ruin the surprise," he smiled, stretching the hand previously on his chest towards me.

Bola started to mad cackle once again, making the audience nervous. What was about to happen?

I stared at it for a second and looked back at him. He still smiled encouragingly at me. With some hesitation, I took his hand….and my world went dark.

[End Dive into the Heart]

"S̷̹̿o̵̻̫̊́ŗ̷̪̭̏a̶͍̟̽ come on!"

"We will go and find new worlds together!"

"Izuku, get up! The storm is gonna take the raft!"

"Wait for me, S̷̹̿o̵̻̫̊́ŗ̷̪̭̏a̶͍̟̽."

"Go find K̶͇͝͠ä̸̫̀i̶̹̕r̸͆͘͜i̸͙̹͐! I'll buy you time."

"If you wanna get my b̵͍̐̒r̵̠̊͗̔ỏ̸̠͉͝ṱ̷͓͇̑ȟ̴̳͜e̵͔͊͗̇r̷̢̰͓̊͠ ̶͈̀ you'll have to pass me first!"

"That is a big one!"

"Izuku, aim for the face!"

"Huff huff, we did it-Woah!"

"S̷̹̿o̵̻̫̊́ŗ̷̪̭̏a̶͍̟̽ don't let go!"

"If I don't, then I'll drag you with me!"

"Then we go together!"

"AAAAAAAAAH!"

"What the hell?!" The jumpscare caused by the suddenly changing scenes and the glitching screen made the audience yelp.

Even Aizawa was startled, "What was that?" He directed his question to the balcony. His answer was Bola finally losing his battle against his laugh and positively wheezing at them.

Everyone looked at the man weirdly. Izuku tried to hit pause on the controller still in his hand to see if it would work, and thankfully it did. The screen, being now frozen, guaranteed they wouldn't miss anything while their host lost any air in his lungs with his laughter.

After a long minute, he finally recovered from his fit. Bola wiped a nonexistent tear from his helmet, "Oh, that was brilliant! You guys should have seen your faces!" He slapped the balcony's rail, "I should have recorded that."

"What the fuck was that, Rock Head?!" Katsuki snapped.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" The man cackled again, "If you want to know, buckle up and watch."

Everyone traded glances, "Fair." They turned back to the screen. Izuku hit the pause button on the old console controller, and the show resumed.

Izuku woke up screaming and bolted straight up the bed, taking deep breaths. Once he calmed himself down, he turned to look out the window to see the rising sun.

Trying to understand what just happened, Izuku just stared and felt...sad. A lone tear swelled down his face, a regular occurrence for him. This time was different, though; this time, he let it fall and think...Why? What made him so sad if he couldn't even clearly remember it-ah, that's it...he couldn't remember, that's what made him cry. Maybe it's just the heart remembering.

"Aw, Deku's crying," Ochako said sadly.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, "The nerd always fucking cries! This isn't anything new."

Tenya chopped his hands on Katsuki's view, "Bakugou! That isn't very nice!"

Katsuki sneered, "It's the fucking truth! Tell me otherwise, Four-eyes!" Honestly, Tenya had nothing to counteract.

"It still isn't right." He muttered.

Izuku murmured, "This time, it feels…different."

Katsuki narrowed his eyes on the lone tear on the screen before reluctantly agreeing. Usually, the nerd would cry a river.

But Izuku felt that someday he would. "May your heart be your guiding key," he murmurs absent-mindedly; even if he can't recall where he heard it, it always makes him feel better...because he is never alone.

Ochako couldn't help but gush, "Aww! Deku, that's so cute," she said and gave him a bright smile.

Izuku blushed a bit. "I-I mean, it's not really me saying it."

Tanya chimed in, "Maybe not, but it's still a version of you, and the quote has quite an admirable air to it." He then looked at his friend, "Do you have any idea what it means?"

Izuku thought about it for a minute before uncharacteristically clutching his chest as he felt something warm inside of him, "I guess it means… If you follow your heart, then it will always guide you to the places and people that matter most to you." Izuku finished and let go of his chest. He looked back up to himself at the screen.

Ejiro came out of nowhere, "That's so manly!"

Tanya then gave him another look, "That's quite a way to interpret it. I quite like it."

Ochako spoke up, "Too cute and super wholesome!"

Shoto then stared at his hand, "So our hearts guide us to where we belong." He clenched his fist, "Then was it all of our hearts that guided us here?"

Tokoyami chimed in, "Truly a mad banquet of destiny." He finished dramatically.

"Yo! No summoning the names of any existential perpetuity in the theater!" Bola shouted at the kids, "The last time, I ended up getting challenged to an Uno battle, and I almost lost an arm."

The audience's members traded glances, unsure what to make of that. Their host sure was a strange one.

It's another day in Musutafu. The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, and a giant monster is destroying the street.

"RRROOOOOAAAARRRR!"

Perfectly normal.

"Your definition of normal is weird, Midoriya," Shoto said blankly, causing the rest of the class to laugh.

Aizawa gave out a tired sigh, "Problem Child."

"I told him so many times that villain attacks were not something to consider normal." Inko shook her head, "They happen a lot, yes, but he shouldn't just brush them off like that."

Izuku, a boy with curly green hair and freckles, is making his way to where the commotion is located. There he saw a man with what looked like wooden armor, Kamui Woods, fighting the giant villain.

Izuku wore a black middle school uniform, a yellow backpack, and big red shoes. While he would usually be excited to see the hero and villain fight, he currently has a far-off look on his face, like he's not really here, lost in thought, "What was that dream about? It doesn't make sense. Who are those people? Why can't I remember them? What am I doing with them…." He mumbled, holding a hand over his mouth.

"So that's what it's like to understand Midoriya's mumbles." Tenya nodded along with the subtitles. It was a novel experience to know his friend's words when he spoke at that speed.

"I always thought that was eldritch knowledge, but it's surprisingly not that bad." Mineta had to say, and most of the class agreed with him.

"I'm not that bad." Izuku slumped. Eri patted his arm, trying to comfort the poor boy.

CRASH!

Jumping in shock, Izuku is brought out of his thoughts and finally realizes the hero at the scene, "What-whoa, a villain, and that's Kamui Woods, SO COOL!"

His previous thoughts are forgotten. Taking a notebook from...somewhere, he starts writing, "He's climbing the ranks really fast for a relatively new hero, and…" he mumbles as he writes his observations from the fight.

Denki spoke. "Sorry, Midoriya, but it's kinda bad when you do it a few minutes between each mumble storm." He sheepishly grinned.

Izuku then slumped down more. "I guess."

Sero tried to ease it up a bit, "Don't sweat it, man. I think we're all used to it by now."

When it looks like the wooden hero is just about to end the fight…

"Canyon Cannon!" a new hero appears, kicking the giant villain and knocking him out.

"Hey, It's Mt. Lady!"

Minoru felt a shiver on his spine, "Oh man…."

He still hasn't forgotten how much that woman has taken advantage of him. Looking down in disdain, he was reminded of his current situation with a woman much worse than Midnight and Mt. Lady combined.

Denki glanced at his friend and gave him a strange look. "You still haven't told me what she did to you."

Minoru gave him the stink eye, "That woman is a demon."

Denki still didn't get it.

Izuku turns towards the new arrival, "Whoa, who is th-" only for a flash of what felt like a memory to pass through his mind. A being towered over him and his...he doesn't know, the only thing he is certain is of beady yellow eyes. He didn't remember this being; he had no memory of ever meeting it, but for some reason seeing it filled his heart with fear.

The same feeling of fear overwhelmed them. What was that thing? The screen flashed too fast to take in details, but the dread it caused made the kids shiver. Eri clung to Izuku as the look of fear was obvious in her expression.

Nezu patted his raised fur back into place, "That is most concerning."

Aizawa unclenched his fist from his capture weapon, having difficulty in stopping his deadly grip to do so, "That's putting it lightly." He turned to Eight, "Can you explain at least what that thing was."

Bola snorted, "Of course not! That would ruin the fun."

He should have expected that, "What can you explain to us, then?"

"Things that already were explained on the show, but you guys didn't understand well." The armored man shrugged, "And anything I feel is relevant at the given time."

Aizawa sighed. That was probably the best they would get.

"Hey, kid!" A man in the crowd cried, breaking the image."I know what you are, a fanboy!"

"W-Wha-yeah, I-I am."

"Well, you want to be a hero?"

"Y-Yes! more than anything."

"Well, then go for it." the man said, laughing encouragingly.

Izuku gives back a smile, "Thank you, sir!" He takes off running (because he is not supposed to stop, to begin with, he's late for school).

"See there?" Mina said, pointing at the screen, "Now that's a million-dollar smile."

Izuku sat there, a tiny bit skittish, and scratched his cheek.

"Funny, I was gonna say the same thing, Mina," said Ochako looking up at her before turning back to the screen.

Toshinori continued, "I concur, Young Uraraka!" He looked down, "What about you, Mrs. Midoirya?"

The woman continued without losing a beat, "My baby always had the best smiles." She finished staring at her son with a soft smile.

Said boy was flustered and looked away from everyone.

As he runs, his mind returns to the strange dream and the sudden vision. "What was that? And why did I feel so...afraid?"

Classes passed in a blur for Izuku; he just kept thinking about his dream. He was so distracted, in fact, that he barely realized the disaster was walking toward him.

BOOM! The sound of the explosion filled his ears as the sight of black smoke invaded his vision.

"What part of don't get in my way, you don't understand, Deku?!"

"Woah, chill out, Bakugo." Kyoka held her ears, trying to silence the ringing in them.

Slowly turning towards the voice, Izuku is met with the sight of a boy with ashy blond hair and gleaming red eyes. The boy was holding up a sparkling and cackling hand as if in preparation for another explosion. Bakugo Katsuki. Izuku's childhood friend turned into a bully. Who had decided to confront him publicly after their teacher (disregarding all conduct norms) told the entire class of his plans to apply to U.A.

Tenya moved his glasses up, "So much for student confidentiality."

"That was a plain lack of professionalism." Nezu shook his head

"Yeah! That was so rude!" Toru yelled indignantly, standing up and waving her hands.

"Hagakure, sit down right now." Came Aizawa's sharp order.

The girl did, pouting. Meanwhile, Aizawa narrowed his eyes on the teacher. He wasn't the only one, as Toshinori also gave the teacher on screen a distasteful look. He disapproved of how someone was disrespectful to his successor.

The number one institution was responsible for the most well-known heroes in Japan. Best Jeanist, the number 4 hero and multiple-time winner of the best jeanist competition. Endeavor, the number 2 hero, the one with more cases solved. And finally, All Might, the world's greatest hero, the number one, the Symbol of Peace.

Of course, at the first sign of the resident quirkless student expressing interest in the school, his classmates are quick to reprimand or mock him. They laugh at the very thought that the one person without superpowers can get into the prestigious school when they themselves have no shot at even entering. The written exam is said to be a killer, and while they can see Izuku passing that, the heroics exam would only kill the quirkless student.

Nezu huffed, "Of course, our test would not do that. We have many ensurances to guarantee the applicants' safety."

"That quirkless stuff again. Why is everyone so mean about it?" Toru crossed her arms and pouted, "Quirks aren't everything."

Izuku heard the girl and had to hold back a sniff, but his tears started to fall when Ochaco agreed, "Yeah! Deku has a lot of good qualities that would make him a great hero, and not all our quirks are flashy, but we got in!"

Bola rolled his eyes, seeing the green bunny of a boy staring at the girl as if she was an angel, "Those two dorks are unbelievable." He turned and popped out of Mina's seat before she could enter full shipping mode, "Hey, don't push them. It's bad enough as it is."

The girl pouted at the armored man, "But they would be so cute together!"

"Oh, I know. Just wait, and you'll have a lot of example material." He nudged her. The girl understood what Eight was hinting at and smirked deviously. Both of them cackled conspiratorially.

Dark facepalmed, "Oh no, he's doing this again."

But that doesn't stop Bakugo from getting furious; the smoking desk is proof of that. "I'm the only one in this shithole school that is going to UA!"

Izuku could only stare. Years ago, they were friends, but now the walking bomb could only look at him with rage. Where did things go so wrong?

Izuku would like to know too. He sneaked a glance at Katsuki, only for their eyes to meet and for the bomber to snap his head back to the screen with a scoff.

Bakugo takes the notebook from Izuku's desk, "Listen here, nerd, if you go, you're only getting yourself killed, so do us all a favor and don't bother!" He looks at the notebook, "Hero journal number XIII, are you serious!? How many times do I have to tell you, so it gets on that fucking head? YOU CAN'T BE A HERO!" He slams his palm against the notebook causing an explosion along the outside.

BOOOMM!

Izuku watches, horrified as his notebook is blown up and thrown out the window.

Bakugo turns around and starts heading off with his followers, "That's the last warning, don't apply to UA Deku!" As if he hadn't had enough fun tormenting his former friend, he pauses at the door, "If you want to be a hero so bad, then pray that you'll get a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof."

At that, the theater descended into mayhem. Everybody started to shout over each other, raging at Katsuki for having the decency to say something like that. To Izuku of all people.

Eijiro turned to the deadly silent blonde, "That's not true, right? You never would say something like that, right?!"

The bomber just kept staring at the screen. He had honestly forgotten about that, and now he wished it remained like that. Things started to get even worse at his lack of denial, with even the adults were unsure what to do.

Luckily, their host had no such problem. Bola picked up a megaphone, turned it on, and screamed on it, "SHUT UP!"

His voice made the room tremble, and the students quiet down. They all turned to Bola, who was leaning on the rail and looking down at them, unimpressed, "Can I ask you all not to riot in the theater room? We have the arena for that. Go do it there later."

"How can you say that?!" Ochako yelled at the man. She pointed a finger accusingly at Katsuki, "He just told Deku to-" The girl choked on her words, unable to finish it.

"Kid, do you know how many times I told my friends to go drown in a cup of water when I was fourteen? The age the kid on the screen is, for the record." He waved the megaphone at the paused image, then threw it over his shoulder, "Me neither, but I'm sure it was on the triple digits at least. Do you know how many times I actually meant it? None, nietch, nenhuma, zero!" Eight crossed his arms in an 'X.'

Dark snorted, catching everyone's attention, "Trust me, young Lords and Mistresses, I wasn't better either at that age. I even bit someone in a blind rage." She frowned, remembering how she nearly bit someone's arm off in her younger years. "Not my proudest moment."

Sleppt then spoke up, "Yeah, while I've never been an outright bully, I have made fun of others…. It's not something I'm proud of." He finished, rubbing the back of his head.

"See?! Do you guys think that Bomberman there is the only one that has regrets from the time he was a stupid teenager? If I could, I would yeet my fourteen-old self out a window." The man grabbed their attention and jabbed his thumb at the weird-shaped hole to the outside. "Give it five more years, and you guys will be on the same boat."

"So we should just brush that off?!" Mina, looking betrayed that her friend she thought she knew could be such a bully, yelled back with tears in her eyes.

"I think it's more a case of 'forgive, not forget.'" Eight shrugged, "It's not like you guys can change it now, and instead of pointing fingers and blaming, teaching why something is wrong is much more effective in fixing things like this. If people did it more, societies wouldn't collapse nearly as much."

The pink girl's head dropped down, but she nodded.

Izuku had spent most of that time holding Eri and calming the girl down. The commotion almost drove her into a panic attack. Finally, he had the chance to speak up, "Guys, it's fine."

"No, it isn't!" Ochaco yelled back at him, making him put out his hands in defense.

"Yes, it is not." Nezu, now on top of the backrest of his chair, addressed the students, "What Bakugo did there was a mistake, but as our host said, we can't blame children for making mistakes, only teach them how what they did was wrong and how to make up for it."

Katsuki, who had been silent until now, spoke up on the pause that the principal's words caused, "I didn't mean that shit for real. Even forgot about that."

Izuku, uncharacteristically to himself, snorted, "Me too."

"What?!" His friends snapped at him. How could someone forget that?

The boy shrugged, "To be fair, the rest of that day was much more chaotic than Kacchan being mean. It wasn't even on my priority list."

"Katsuki." Inko's voice cut through the air. The blonde straightened up in fright to the shock of all who knew him.

"Yes, Aunty Inko?"

"You're grounded. No swearing until you learn that your words can hurt people." The short and chubby woman's voice sounded normal, but it made both Katsuki and Izuku shiver.

"Yes, Aunty."

The class stared at him in shock. Where was the extremely violent bomber they knew?

"Deku, how?" Ochako asked, not realizing her friend was shaking in fear.

Izuku gulped, "My mom could make Aunty Mitsuki quiet down when she's mad. She's really scary when she wants to."

Eri heard that and looked at the Midoriya matriarch. She didn't look scary. The girl turned to Deku and saw he was pale, Katsuki too. Turning up, she even saw Mr. Eight using a handkerchief to clean some cold sweat from his helmet. How did that happen? Eri didn't know.

She did hear Ms. Dark snort in amusement, though. And Mr. Eight glanced at the dragoness, who smirked dangerously at him before turning to everyone else.

"Now that that is out of the way, back to business! You'll see that there are much worse things for you all to worry about." Bola snapped his fingers, unpausing the screen.

At the sound of those words, Izuku wasn't looking at his bully anymore, but someone with a black cloak, silver hair, and yellow eyes that seemed to pierce his soul.

"Like that." He gave an ominous cackle. The audience was successfully distracted from their early revolt, many of them shivering at the glimpse of the figure.

Izuku shook his head; that didn't look right. As quickly as it happened, it was over with Izuku standing in an empty class, "Not again." He got his things and ran outside, looking for his missing notebook.

Finding it on the koi pond, he quickly retrieves it. "What was that about? Who was he and-" Getting rid of the excess water, he looks at the book, seeing most of the damage being external. He can still see the title and feels a sudden pang of dread when his eyes pass at the volume number.

Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he put the journal back in his backpack and started heading home."How can this day get any weirder?" Izuku asked himself as he walked through a tunnel.

"No frowning, no sad faces, our ship runs on smiles!"

Denki was silent for a bit before he had to ask, "Am I the only one who needed the subtitles to understand that?"

Mina giggled, "Yeah, I needed them too. That sounded like a duck talking. But after all that shocking and sad news, I agree with the voice. Happy thoughts all the way!" The pink girl managed to return to her bubbly self, but she pointedly didn't look in Katsuki's direction.

He jumped at the seemingly random thought. He tried to recall where he heard it from but still nothing. Although, just thinking about it brought a smile to his face. "They're right! I have to keep going and smile, like All Might!" Izuku let out his best impression of All Mights' laughter.

"Pfft"

Izuku was covering his face with his hands as he grew red from embarrassment. "I never thought anyone would hear me!"

A couple of his classmates began to laugh, taken by surprise. Toshinori, however, was sweating while pulling on his neck collar. He really didn't know how to feel about this. Inko let out an exaggerated sigh, but she was smiling fondly. Eri herself was giggling at the funny scene.

"Mi-hahaha! Mi-Midoriya what-hahaha" Hanta tried to get a question out but couldn't.

Mina was boisterously laughing. "You sure brought the mood up, Midoriya!" She held her sides as she fell out of her chair, kicking her legs.

Ochako was giggling like crazy, spit shooting out like a canon. "Hehehehehe, Deku, I get you're trying to be serious, but it's just so goofy."

Shouto, while still silent, his lips twitched, barely holding back a smile. While he was not laughing, Iida was just as amused if his smile indicated anything.

Denki couldn't hold it in and burst into laughter. "Hahaha! Yeah, I know we said we should have some positive energy, but we can be a little serious, Midoriya!"

"Kill me now!" Izuku was so red it made a tomato jealous. He wanted the hole to open up and swallow him whole.

He wasn't alone under that tunnel, "A medium size meat suit, perfect."

Turning towards the sound of the voice Izuku came face to face with what looked like a giant pile of sludge. "A villain!" He could barely react before the villain threw himself at the younger boy.

"The hell?!" Katsuki shouted, both angry and horrified to see the familiar villain.

The mood in the room suddenly wasn't so funny now. Inko herself was horrified to find out that her baby was a victim of a villain attack.

"What happened?!"

"A villain attack?!"

"He got Midoriya!"

Eri then stood up, "Let Mr. Deku go!" She yelled at the screen.

"Did this happen to you as well, Deku?!" Ochako asked, now looking at him along with everyone else.

Izuku sheepishly looked at everyone before he simply nodded, "Y-yeah."

Iida was chopping his hands, worried about his friend. "Are you all right, Midoriya?!"

He blinked for a second, then looked at his friend. "I-I mean, I'm alright!" He then looked at the screen, "If the same thing happens this time, then the other me should be fine, but…I don't know."

"Don't worry, kid, it will only hurt for 40 seconds, and it's over." The sludge man laughed maliciously, forcing himself down the boy's throat, the sludge blocking Izuku's windpipe.

'That's it? I'll die before even trying? No! Someone, please HELP!' Izuku thought as he clawed desperately at the villain.

"Look what you did, Kaminari!" Came from the grape-haired boy, "You said Midoriya should be more serious, and now he's being attacked by a villain!" Mineta finished, pointing at him accusingly.

Denki, realizing this, began to clasp his hand. "I take it back. I like funny! I'll take funny!"

Kyoka facepalmed at their stupidity, "Idiots."

As if hearing his prayers, the manhole at the tunnel entrance blows open, and from it comes a man two meters tall who jumps out of it, "DON'T FEAR, BECAUSE I AM HERE!" He shouts with explosive intensity.

Katsuki stared in shock, "You're shitting me."

Mineta, however, was in shock, "No way!"

Denki was pretty similar, "That worked!"

Kyoka had other thoughts as her eyes shot up in surprise, "No, it didn't work….hell of a timing, though." She had to admit it.

"No! Get away, you bastard!" The Sludge Villain shouts desperately.

Everyone was ecstatic now.

Mina yelled, "Way to make an entrance, All Might!"

Sero agreed, "Yeah, now sending this guy packing!"

Tsuyu came in blunt, "And save Midoriya while you're at it."

The stranger doesn't listen, clenching his fist into a punch, "TEXAS SMASH!" He punched the air, using its force to create a mini whirlwind, blowing the villain away.

The villain had barely enough time to think, let alone defend himself, before being soundly defeated.

"Go All Might!"

"Yeah, he saved the day again!"

"That was such a manly fight!"'

"There wasn't much of a fight, though."

Ochako let out a sigh of relief and fell back to her chair, "Thank goodness for All Might."

Izuku gave her a shy smile, "Yeah, he really saved the day." He took a glance at All Might.

Eri was just as happy and hugged him tightly, with Izuku rubbing her back. "I'm glad Mr. All Might saved you." She said softly.

Izuku smiled at her, "Me too."

Toshinori, while a little upset at being reminded of how he met the boy, smiled. Though, he tried to ignore the suspicious glare that Aizawa kept shooting at him. It didn't help that he was sweating while avoiding looking at his eyes.

He still dreaded the scene to come. If what Mr, Eight had mentioned was right, it was coming soon.

Finally free from his sludge prison, Izuku falls to the ground; the last thing he sees is the shadow of the man who saved him.

Inko gave a glare to Toshinori, who held back a shiver. Ochako didn't look happy about it either but continued watching the screen.

Aizawa let out a tired sigh. He wanted to curl up in his sleeping bag and remain there. "Of course, you would do something like this afterward." All Might looked sheepish as he tried to shrink in his seat.

Nezu merely drank his tea in amusement after taking a bite of his cheese.

Dark noticed this and snorted. "Men. Why are they so useless these days?" She shook her head as she dipped another striped apple in a red sugar counting before putting it on a plate with more candied apples.

She went to the mini fridge and put the plate inside. Afterward, she pulled a candied apple that was ready.

"Even the annoying demon is afraid of her. Which makes no sense." She put the candy apple in a bag, "He laughs at me when I threaten to take his head and castrate him, yet he fears a lowly human with a weak power. It's both embarrassing and pathetic."

Up from his balcony, Bola shot Dark a glance, knowing what she was thinking, and rolling his eyes under his helmet, "Oh, if only that little dragon knew." He looked over his shoulder as if his gaze could pierce the theater's walls, "There are so many things to fear, those that can't be understood…." He felt a hot wind blowing through his balcony, "And those that can, but shouldn't."

"Izuku, wake up!"

"Humm? S̴͚͂̔̏͒ơ̴̹̥̠̌r̵̨̤͎̝̈́͛å̴͉͊͆?"

"Where are we? R̴̡̜̗̔I̶͍̟͝K̵̢̞͎̒̕U̶̲͘!̸̳̔͑̇ ̷̣͕̮̅͌̉͠K̶̢͓̹͌̽̃A̴̳̾I̷̛̫̯̤̒R̴̡̠̎̃͋ͅI̵̫̓̍̅!̸̻̂"

"A Keyblade?"

Katsuki was beginning to get annoyed, "Again, with this glitchy sh-" He caught himself though, "Crap." He got a few looks of disbelief when he caught himself from cursing.

Ejiro chimed in, "I gotta agree with Bakugo on this. I'm so lost on what's going on in these scenes."

Izuku nodded, "Same. I wish we knew what was happening or had some context." He paused, "And Keyblade? That weird giant key is a blade?"

A simple reply came from the balcony, "Watch and find out!"

"HEY, KID, WAKE UP!"

"Urgh, w-what?" Izuku slowly wakes up and feels someone 'lightly' slapping his cheek.

Aizawa and Inko both shot the man a glare simultaneously. Toshinori was used to his colleague's irritation. However, he was unnerved by his successor's mother. It reminded him of the time when Nana was annoyed with him.

The kids, in turn, were all chuckling at the amusing sight of the mountain of a man slapping Izuku awake.

"HAHA, I THOUGHT I LOST YOU FOR A SECOND, SORRY FOR THE TROUBLE," His savior says, "I TRIED TO CHASE THE VILLAIN, BUT THE SEWER SYSTEM OF THIS PLACE IS REALLY CONFUSING!" He places his hand over his face and laughs at the mixup.

Blinking the spots of his sight, he finally sees his savior and…

"ALL MIGHT!"

completely freaks out.

Katsuki then gets a smirk on his face. "Yep, there's the Deku I know." He gave him a look, "Freaking out over his favorite hero."

Ejiro then looked at the explosive boy, "Come on, Bakugou, he's your favorite too."

Katsuki simply smirked, "One second, Shitty Hair. He'll start fanboying in three…two…one."

"W-What?! H-How?! Wait, an autograph, I-I need an autograph!" Izuku panics. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He can't miss this. He searches for his backpack. He needed a pen, marker, paper, anything!

The entire theater stared in shock, "How did he know that!"

Katsuki cackled to himself, freaking a few others. Bola approved.

Finding his stuff at his side, he scrambles toward the discarded notebook, frantically looking for an empty page. "HE SIGNED IT ALREADY!" Izuku started mumbling and bowing frantically. This was a dream come true. "THANK YOU! IT WILL BE A FAMI…"

Denki was silent "...I don't know what's scarier, the fact you knew… Or that you're smiling about it."

Katsuki smirked at him. "It's easy, Dunceface. Deku's not a hard book to read. You would know if you had any brain cells."

"You're so mean."

Kyoka could help but add two cents, "He isn't wrong." She teased.

"Oh, come on!"

Izuku simply stared off. "A-am…am I that easy to read?" He sat there, disassociating as he asked himself the question.

"HAHA, NO PROBLEM, KID! NOW THAT I CAPTURED THE VILLAIN, I'LL BE ON MY WAY" All Might show two soda bottles containing the villain (somehow?) before putting them in his cargo pants pockets.

"W-What!? Are you already going?!" Izuku still had so many questions. "Wait, please, I still have to ask you… I have to know if…."

Tenya looked at his friend and noticed the expression they had. "Are you alright, Midoriya? You seem to be in distress here."

Izuku looked at the boy, "Yeah, uh…." He came up with nothing, "It'll make more sense if you see for yourself."

All Might wasn't listening. He crouched down, preparing to jump. Izuku was desperate at this point for any more time with the symbol of peace and now a personal hero. It all happened so fast. One minute he was on the ground; the next, he was in the air…

.

.

.

Holding onto All Might's leg. Flying over buildings.

"HUM?" All Might was none the wiser until he noticed the extra weight, "WOAH KID, I LIKE MY FANS, BUT THAT IS A LITTLE TO MUCH! LET GO!"

There was laughter from the students while Inko almost had a heart attack. So much so that she fainted. She would've fallen on the floor had it not been for Toshinori's quick reflex.

"Problem Child." Grumbled Aizawa, looking tired beyond belief. He needed a drink.

Ochako sighed and shook her head, "Of course, you would recklessly do that, Deku-kun."

Iida chopped his hands, berating Izuku. "Midoriya, why is every time you seem to be out of someone's sight, you get into danger or end up hurting yourself."

Aizawa quickly shot up to this, "Yes, Midoriya, I would like to know as well."

"W-well…Uh.." Izuku stopped before twiddling his thumbs, "Plus Ultra?" He weakly let out.

Aizawa facepalmed while a few students laughed.

"B-B-BUT IF I LET GO, I'LL DIE!"

"OH, GOOD POINT, HOLD ON, I WILL LAND ON SOMEWHERE SAFE" All Might turn his face away from him. 'I'm almost out of time,' he thought, wiping a line of blood leaking from his mouth.

"Woah!"

"What was that?"

"You got hurt, All Might?"

"But that villain didn't even touch him!"

All Might and Izuku traded a look. It seemed that secret would end up coming out right away.

"I saw my life flashing through my eyes," Izuku is on the ground, huffing and puffing from his trip on the symbol of peace. They landed on a rooftop.

"WELL, KID, KNOCK ON THE DOOR, AND SOMEONE WILL LET YOU GO BACK DOWN. NOW I HAVE TO GO," All Might said, preparing to leave the fanboy to his own devices.

"W-What, wait, I have to ask you something!"

"NO, I HAVE TO GO NOW!" All Might approached the edge. He didn't have time for this.

"CAN SOMEONE QUIRKLESS BE A HERO?!" Izuku blurted, hoping against hope he would finally get the answer he wanted.

'What! He is-no crap, not yet!' The hero pauses his walk before beginning to steam and deflate.

"No way!" Minoru yelled, "You knew All Might was a skeleton all along, Midoriya?!"

Everyone turned to the boy, who could only awkwardly shrug.

Shoto hummed, "Is that why he had such an interest in you at the start of the year?"

Izuku couldn't meet any of their eyes, "That too." He broke into a cold sweat. The show wouldn't. It couldn't, right?

Izuku continued on, oblivious to his hero's dramatic change. He had his eyes glued to the floor as he poured out his story. "All my life, nobody believed in me, but even with the whole world saying it is impossible, can someone like me be a hero like you-WHOA?!" Izuku looks up, only to see a skeleton of a man where All Might was. "Who are you!? What happened with All Might!?"

The man opened his mouth to answer, for an unhealthy amount of blood to shoot out of it.

"AAHHH!" Izuku understandably freaks out. "Are you okay? No stupid question, of course, you are not. I'll call help. Just wait a little and…."

Izuku train of thought trailed off for one second. "Ok, this is different. I didn't say this." He grimaced as the words came back to the forefront of his mind

Toshinori couldn't help but chuckle, "Why yes, young Midoriya, I remember you calling me along the lines of fake and imposter."

The kid shrunk into himself, embarrassed beyond belief.

As he starts to run towards the door, the man says. "Hey, kid, hold on, I'm fine!".

"Where is that 'fine'?" Mashirao blankly asked.

Toshinori was surprised that the boy, who acted like meeting All Might only a second ago, was the most important thing in the world for him. How could he not when this fanboy literally attached himself to him? Now, this same fanboy is putting his well-being as a top priority in this situation. All when he went through all this trouble to ask a question.

Toshinori usually didn't like people treating him differently because of his appearance. Still, he couldn't risk letting his secret get exposed (more than it already is) and calming the boy and sitting against the edge. He tells the kid the truth and shows his wound.

While Aizawa and Nezu knew of the injury, they had grim expressions. The students looked horrified. It was already enough seeing that terrible wound, but to hear how much he had been weakening.

"All Might." Muttered Ejiro

Denki was just as stunned, "No way."

Tsuyu stared at the screen, "Five whole years." She ribbited in concern.

Rikido continued her thought, "And he could only do it three hours a day?!"

Momo was clasping her hands tight, "So all that time during class."

Shouto was clutching his chair, "The USJ attack."

Tenya finished, "And finally, the Kamino ward incident."

Mina couldn't take it anymore as she looked at the retired hero. "Are you ok, All Might?!"

Toru spoke up next. "Yeah, you're not still getting weaker, are you?"

Toshinori waved off the students' worries and sympathy, "Please, please calm down. l promise you all I'm not getting any weaker. I just can no longer access my quirk due to my injury," he said before giving a thumbs up, "But all in all, I will be just fine!"

Dark, who had been sitting and reading a book, shook her head, "That poor foolish human." She looked uncomfortable, "Though I can't really stand to see someone that skinny. They remind me too much of a hollow."

"They don't know what's coming." Cackled Bola silently to himself, "I can't wait for their reactions."

"Five years ago, was it in your fight with Toxic Chainsaw?" The boy asked.

Katsuki had to scoff, "Of course, only you would know that off the top of your head, nerd."

The boy looked sheepish. It wasn't his fault that his brain had a perfect archive of hero-related knowledge ready to access at all times.

Bola coughed exaggeratedly, "Fanboy!"

Again he was surprised but just told the kid that that fight didn't go public at his request. "So kid, with all this said, I have to tell you no, heroes are always risking their lives, and they need power; I mean, look at me, I had power, and this job got me this, so someone quirkless without power, I don't think they can be a hero."

There was a record scratch. "Wait, what?!" The students yelled, many even standing up.

"How can you say that!" Toru turned to All Might, feeling betrayed that the hero could just step into someone's dream like that. She also didn't have much support for her dream of being a hero with a quirk like hers. So seeing the hero doing that in a situation close to hers, an even worse one, left the girl heartbroken.

"All Might." Aizawa spoke plainly, "You don't simply say that to a person, especially when they had just gone through a possibly traumatic experience like a villain attack. One that almost asphyxiated him to death."

"That was my bad." Toshinori had to admit that his cynicism, thanks to his situation, made him not only make a great mistake at that moment but also turned him into a hypocrite.

Nezu sighed, "I hope you didn't have a repeat of this in the school year?"

"No, sir." At least he had learned from his blunder.

Izuku, who had paused the show when the new round of yelling started (he was beginning to see why Bola got annoyed with it happening all the time), ran damage control. He knew where All Might was coming from with his refusal. At that moment, he was just a scrawny kid he had never met and hitched a ride on his leg. The man didn't owe him anything.

"Guys! That wasn't a big deal."

Surprisingly, a tongue lashed out and hit Izuku on the back of his head. The boy yelped and turned to Tsuyu, shocked at the sudden attack.

"Midoriya, if you hadn't been there at the USJ, Mineta and I would be dead. If you weren't there in Hosu, Iida would be dead. If you hadn't been at Kamino, Bakugo would be dead." She ribbited, but for the first time, it sounded angry, "All Might saying you couldn't be a hero is the same as him spitting at all the things we have been through."

Izuku…hadn't thought about it like that. As Bola had said, things were a chain of events, and getting into U.A. started one that saved his classmates' lives more than once. That was a sobering thought. What would have happened if he did something different?

That was when the chip fell. Izuku looked up at the balcony where Eight was. He was sitting on a chair that wasn't there before with his legs propped up on the rail. That was the reason they were there, wasn't it? They would see another chain of events to answer some of those 'what ifs?'

Just as that thought crossed his head, Bola raised one of his fries as if on a toast.

Izuku looked back at his friends and nodded, "Yeah, sorry. Things would have been different if I wasn't there, probably not for the better." He bowed to the class, "I won't say something inconsiderate like that again."

Bola threw his hands to the heavens, "There's hope for that dork yet!" His exclamation made some of the audience laugh, lifting the mood some. "Now, can we go back to it, or do you guys want to rampage like a bunch of feral monkeys some more?"

The kids had the decency to look sheepish. Izuku sat back down and pressed start.

When Izuku hears those words, it's as if nothing exists anymore. His whole world turns black. He can only think about those words.

Can't be a hero

After so much time, is this really it? An impossible dream?

"We are heroes!"

"It doesn't matter how many times you put me down. I won't stop. I will get up and fight BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO!"

"Yeah!" Ochaco and Mina jumped and threw their fists up.

"That's so manly!" Eijiro sniffed as manly tears ran down his face.

"That was intense." Mezo hummed. At his side, Koji nodded.

"A truly inspiring declaration." Fumikage nodded, "The truly strong will always find the will to rise again."

Shouto blinked, "Why are some of those scenes corrupted and glitching out while others are so clear?" He looked up, the question being directed at their host.

Bola raised a flag with "Watch and find out!" written on it.

Dark rolled her eyes, utterly unamused, as she petted Astrid. Of course, the devil would do something like that.

Izuku looks up, All Might is gone, and the flash of the vision leaves him lost.

'That was my voice, but I don't remember saying that' Izuku stands in a daze and walks without thinking. 'Who was I talking to? And why do I feel like there's a pain in my chest?'

Lost in thought, he kept walking, barely realizing where, until...

BOOOMM!

Snapping his head up, Izuku sees a scene of chaos and destruction. Buildings on fire, explosions, and heroes trying to save the people.

He dashed towards the crowd, trying to see what was going on. He heard the people standing there talking to each other.

"What happened?"

"A villain got a kid as a hostage and is using him to keep the heroes away."

"It is a middle schooler."

"That is low even for a villain."

Izuku starts to worry. 'A student, who is it? And why are the heroes not trying to do anything? People can get hurt-' his train of thought stops when he sees the villain.

The audience collectively flinched at the image on the screen.

It was the same villain that attacked him. The same villain that All Might captured. The same villain that is now causing chaos in front of him.

'No, no, no, no, it's my fault,' Izuku's mind spirals into a panic, 'the bottles were in All Might's pockets, and I grabbed his leg. The villain must have gotten away, I used All Might's time, and now someone is going to die because of me-' The thoughts stop when his eyes meet a familiar pair of red eyes. Eyes trapped within the clutches of the villain.

The spiraling of Izuku's thoughts only made the boy watching it shrink into himself more and more. That was a perfect example of a chain of events that led to a disaster.

A hand landed on his shoulder, "That wasn't your fault, Deku. You couldn't know, and that villain is the one doing all those things." Ochaco tried to put a reassuring smile on her face.

"But I-"

"Oh, shut up, Deku!" Katsuki yelled from his seat, not looking away from the screen, "This thing didn't show it, but I was the one that kicked the bottle that fu- that punk was in. It's on me he got out, and like Round Face said, it's on him for being a bas- a villain."

Eyes he knew too well. Eyes that usually just show hate towards him. Eyes that are now screaming for help.

Before he even realized it, Izuku was running toward the villain.

[Play: My Hero Academia OST: You Say Run - Izuku's theme]

"And here we go again." Bola smiled, snapping his finger and pausing the screen.

Again, the theater was filled with shouts. Some were exasperated at Izuku's tendency to run head first into danger, some cheering the boy for doing that, and one of a done-with-life teacher.

Kyoka noticed that another one of those pop-ups with the name of the music playing was on the screen, darkened out from the pause but still clearly readable, "You Say Run…Izuku's Theme? You have a theme song, Midoriya?"

The boy's head shot to the side, reading the message and seeing that, yes, it said that was his theme song, "I have my own theme?!" His eyes were wide with shock while Katsuki soured in his seat.

"Can we focus on the fact you are doing something completely irresponsible and dangerous, Midoriya?!" Tenya chopped the air aggressively.

"To be fair, he always does that." Tsuyu pointed out.

"Problem Child, stop that, or you're expelled." Aizawa knew it probably wouldn't help much, but he could hope. Also, the threat made him feel better. All Might counted his lucky stars at his side that the show didn't focus on him wallowing in his misery on that same street.

Inko didn't share his relief. The woman had started to panic when her boy was shown running. Thankfully, the pause gave her time to prepare herself. She hoped the boys would end well in that different universe too.

Katsuki grit his teeth, seeing Deku running to save him again. Even then, he kept quiet, lest the extras start to bug him along with the damn nerd.

Eri was looking at the screen with stars in her eyes. Mr. Deku was going to save Mr. Bakugo as he saved her. She hopped in her seat, wishing the screen would go back to play it. Bola noticed it. He pulled a trumpet and blew in it, gaining the audience's attention with the sudden and annoying noise.

"If you guys are done, the unicorn wants to watch the hero bunny." Eight's nicknames for them made some of the students chuckle in amusement. The girls aww-ned, finding it adorable.

Izuku blushed. He wasn't a bunny! Those were a reference to All Might's hair!

Bola could smell the boy's denial from his balcony. The armor-clad man shook his head. He would learn to accept his inner bunny-ness. "Let's go back to it!"

"The Keyblade is a wonderful weapon, capable of vanquishing the darkness."

"Why do we have them with us?"

"Because they choose you two."

"But why?"

"Because you are worthy."

Katsuki, noting that a scene cut was not completely distorted, had to ask, "Deku, I'm assuming this is all new to you?"

Izuku, while not looking at the boy, answered, "Yeah, whoever this other me is talking to, I have no idea who it is or what it's about."

Ochaco had to chime in, "Whoever she is, she's so soft-spoken!"

Mina continued, "I know, right? Her voice sounds so soothing!"

Aoyama continued, "This mademoiselle has the serene voice of an angel."

Mineta even perked up. "I have to admit her voice was so sweet." Dark glanced at the boy before nodding in satisfaction. The boy was safe…for now.

Shouto spoke up, "While her voice was pleasant, we just got new information. Though not much." He looked over to the freckled boy, "Can you make anything of it, Midoriya."

Izuku grabbed his chin, "That Keyblade thing again, what does it mean? And what does it have to do with me? And did she say two?" Izuku clutched his hair, "Geez, this is a mess."

Aizawa sighed. He agreed with them, "We haven't gotten a straight answer since we got here."

The theater's owner, however, was having the time of his life. "This has got to be my best idea yet!" Eight's voice got a bit sinister, "I can't wait for you all to see what's coming." He cackled ominously for a second. Then he stopped, and just like that, his demeanor changed, "Anyway, let's continue. It's getting to the good part."

As he ran, Izuku unconsciously raised his hand as if to grab something. A flash of light and green sparks danced in Izuku's hand to reveal a blade about 120 cm in length and broad enough to cover most of his body. It took a single look for him to recognize the weapon. It was the one he saw in his dream! Despite his appearance, it felt almost weightless in his hand.

"WHA-?!"

"The hell?!"

Izuku's eyes were wide as his jaw dropped to the ground. I-it can't be! That giant key that kept popping up was real?! And this Keybade was-?!

Denki spoke up, "Where did Midoriya pull that giant car key from?!" The boy was flabbergasted, along with most of the theater. "I know we saw it in that weird glass portrait of him, but it appeared out of nothing!"

Momo tilted her head, "So in that universe, you developed a different quirk?"

"Is that one of the things you want to show us?" Shouto shot Eight a look, but the owner only cackled again.

"That looks cool!" Eri pointed at the strange blade, "But why aren't you sparkling anymore, Mr. Deku?"

Izuku opened his mouth, only to snap it close a second later. He couldn't say that his Full Cowling came from One For All, "I don't know?" He offered weakly.

Katsuki was getting second-hand embarrassment and exaggerated. He had his face in his hands, "How did this nerd keep it a secret for so long?"

Grasping it with two hands, he continued running. It felt natural like he had charged into danger with it hundreds of times.

Looking at the villain, he recalled a journal entry and knew exactly what to do.

Twisting his body in a fluid motion, he hit a stone on the street with a strike using his weapon; faster than a comet, the projectile hit the villain dead in the eye.

Toshinori watched with wide eyes, gapping. His years of combat experience let him see the truth of his student's counterpart, "That is not the moves of someone who has just picked up a quirk, neither the ones of a person that never held a weapon." He pointed to the screen, "Fluidity of motion and pinpoint accuracy of a projectile on the fly, and hitting a specific target like the eyes? It takes years of training to be that precise."

Nezu continued. "Yes, while this Midoriya may not fully understand what is going on, he seems to, or at least his body seems to know what it is doing."

"Wow! Way to bust some moves right away, Midoriya!" Hanta congratulated Izuku.

"Indeed." Fumikage gruffly said, nodding his head, "Though there are unanswered questions, it seems that your body is relying on muscle memory."

"Yeah!" Ejiro gave him a sharp tooth smile. "You must have been a real man to put moves like that right off the bat!"

Sweatdropping at Ejiro's words, Izuku smiled. "Thank guys."

The Sludge Villain screamed in pain, releasing his hold on the hostage just long enough for him to get a mouthful of much-needed air.

Bakugo gasped and greedily took those breaths. Using this chance, he looked up and saw the usual cause of his fury running at him. "Deku, what the hell are you doing here!"

Closing in and swinging his blade, Izuku sends blobs of sludge flying. "I don't know! My legs moved on their own, but I can't just let my friend die!".

You could almost see Ejiro crying, "Friendship and being a hero, that's so damn manly!"

Ochaco smiled at the boy, "It seems no matter if it's you or this version, you're always saving and helping those in need." She couldn't help it. Her excitement kept growing, "But that's what makes you so amazing! Moving to help before your body can think!"

Izuku blushed, "Yeah, I guess you're right."

Tenya continued, "No matter what universe, the classic Midoriya heroic spirit will shine through."

Shouto finished what everyone was thinking, "No matter how much trouble he gets himself into at times," a small smile crossed his face.

Denki then chimed in, "Does that really matter, though?" He looked around the theater, "As long as we're here, we'll have his back!"

Mina jumped up, yelling with her hands up in the air. "Yep, and you can count on us to keep you out of trouble!"

Tsuyu perked up, "After all, someone has to, as you always have ours." She smiled at him, "If Kamino is any indication, you don't know when to quit."

Momo huffed, "Well, I already supported one of your dangerous rescue missions," she then smiled, "So I guess I have to look out for you, now."

Ejiro then hit his chest, "Yeah, man, and I will be in your corner whenever you need me!" He then used his quirk, hardening his arm, "And I'll be the unbreakable shield that protects our path!"

Izuku looked down to see Eri clutching his sleeve. "I wanna help you too!"

As Izuku looked around the cacophony of his classmates, he could feel some tears building up help as he quickly rubbed them away, "Thank you, guys." He looked up at them with a bright smile, "I don't know what I'll do without you all!"

The Sludge Villain screamed in frustration, "You again, I'll show you not to mess with me, you stupid brat!" The villain prepares to strike.

Ok, the villain was getting glared at by everyone. Even Katsuki flipped him off.

"Where are the pros?" Mineta finished off looking agitated

Dark clicked her tongue disapprovingly, "They gave up." Her blunt words caused everyone to look at her with wide eyes. Dark sneered, "If there is one thing I despise about your society, it is that they became dependent on quirks. Even the heroes."

"There comes a time where your power will be useless." She frowned, "All Knights and warriors I've met through my life understood when they need to think and act differently, or else they get themselves, or bystanders get killed. Your heroes would rather give someone else their workload. Your heroes say they did it because they didn't have the correct power."

"… But in truth, they have gotten lazy. When your beloved Symbol of Peace was forced to retire, it wasn't until recently that heroes began to realize the true hardships and struggles the title hero comes with."

Everyone was silent as Dark's words sunk in. Dark sighed, "I'm not saying that everyone is like that, but with you being the new generation of heroes, you have a chance. While All Might's era was the greatest, it was also the worst. For the good side allowed itself to weaken greatly."

"Your society is too reluctant to change, but once the evil hits hard, they panic."

"Geez, Dark." Drawled Bola, utterly amused, "No need to scare them off so early."

A tick mark suddenly appeared on her head, "You stay out of this! This is something that they can learn. Younger generations tend to be more open-minded than older generations! If they work now, well, you already know."

A grim aura occurred on Dark, Bola, and Sleppt, which confused everyone.

Bola coughed, getting their attention, "Let's continue."

"But what are you guys talking about?!" Cried Denki.

"Continue!"

Izuku quickly puts his right hand on the handle above his head and his left arm on the flat of the blade. Getting into a stance was both new and natural at the same time. He blocked the attack, but the villain continued to press on. The barrage of attacks makes Izuku's arms tremble until finally, his guard breaks, causing him to fall to the ground.

"Oh man, no!"

"Deku!"

"He lost his grip!"

"Midoriya!"

"Damn it!"

A few classmates were cursing or freaking out, afraid of what would happen to the alternate Izuku. Inko was so horrified at what was happening to her alternate son that she fainted again. Thankfully, Toshinori caught her again.

But if it was anything remotely like their universe, then Izuku and Katsuki knew what was next.

"Here it comes."

"The big moment."

"Now I'm gonna get rid of you!" Seeing the strike coming, Izuku puts his weapon in front of him, closing his eyes and waiting for the end.

BANG!

Seeing a blur of familiar colors fly by shocked the students

"No way!"

"It has to be him!"

Ochako prayed it was true.

Toshinori began to laugh a bit. "I guess you could say I am here!"

"I REALLY AM PATHETIC, I SAY THAT HEROES ARE ALWAYS RISKING THEIR LIVES, BUT NOW IT IS TIME TO PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH, DETROIT SSMMMAAAAASSSSSHHHHHHHH!"

With a single punch, it's over. Not only did the wind pressure defeat the villain, but it also put out the fires. The sheer power and pressure of the punch even caused it to rain, leaving all bystanders gobsmacked.

"Yeah, go, All Might!"

"He sent the Sludge villain packing!"

"He changed the weather with one punch."

Ejirou sobbed at the display, "That was the manliest moment ever!"

Katsuki stared in silence, relishing the moment. It was scary looking back but seeing it like this was awesome.

Izuku, however, was still a fanboy just inside, "It's still so cool!"

Izuku got scolded by the pros for his trouble, but he wasn't paying attention. No, he was thinking about what he had done. How he had run head first into danger and that his Keyblade manifested. How he knew what it was, it's as if he always knew but forgot about it. Maybe that's what happened if the feeling of finding a long-lost friend was any indication.

Even Katsuki got a little fed up, "Oh, shut up!" He said, aggravated, "At least Deku did something!"

Tenya quickly spoke up. "While Bakugo's language could be more appropriate, he is correct," he said, chopping his hand. "I don't approve of Midoriya's recklessness and ability to get himself into needless danger, but his actions did more than anything the pros have done here."

Ochako nodded, "Yeah, he helped Bakugo, who was suffocating! Who knows what would've happened if he didn't get a chance to breathe there?"

Shouto perked up, "If it weren't for Midoriya taking up the villain's attention, there would've likely been casualties."

Izuku sort of just sat there, not sure what to say. "I didn't think I would be defended like this?"

Aizawa looked as though he ate something sour and grumbled under his breath. Nezu was writing something from a notepad that he grabbed from…somewhere.

Bola saw that and deadpanned, "Oh my stars, it's spreading!"

After the metaphorical slap on the wrist, he was now walking home, trying to understand what was happening. And why he felt so at peace with it until the sound of loud footsteps approached him.

"Deku! Wait up, you bastard!" Bakugo runs to a stop before him, trying to regain his breath. "Listen here, you shitty nerd, you better tell me why you lied!"

Kyoka looked at the boy sitting near her, "Midoriya? Lie? Are you sure you and your counterpart didn't hit your heads, Bakugo?"

"Oh, shut up!" Grunted the boy, red with irritation and embarrassment.

Denki laughed, "I mean, come on, Midoriya actively can't lie about something."

Tooru chimed in, "Yeah, he seems way too honest for that."

"Guys!" Izuku protested with a blush. If only they knew.

Aoyama chuckled, "No offense, mon ami, but you don't seem like the type to get through a lie with a straight face."

Shouji continued, "You seem like the open book type, Midoriya."

Momo nodded, "While I do think you can keep a secret, it would be hard for you to keep it with a straight face."

Izuku, in a bit of desperation, looked to his friends, "Guys, do you think so too?"

Unfortunately, they couldn't bear to look him in the eyes.

Izuku covered his face with his hands to hide from the world. Eri patted his back in comfort. She was having to do that a lot.

On the inside, however, Izuku knew what was coming, "Well, I knew one thing Kacchan will be to have proven them wrong."

And for once, it seemed he and Katsuki were on the same page.

"Oh, I am so going to enjoy watching the bomb be dropped on these extras." He snickered under his breath.

"K-Kacchan, lie a-about what?" Izuku tried to recall what he could possibly have lied about, only to think up nothing.

"About what?! ABOUT YOUR DAMN QUIRK! All these years, and you laughed at me while hiding it!" The blonde blows up (figuratively), but what he wasn't expecting was for the other boy to shout back.

"I don't have a quirk! I don't know what this is!" With a flick of his wrist, the Keyblade materialized in a flash of green light and sparks. "I don't know why I have it! I JUST DON'T KNOW!" He throws it at the ground, and both boys watch as it slides to a stop before vanishing in another flash of light, reappearing in Izuku's hand.

That caused confusion in the theater. Most of them were shocked at the sudden display of Izuku's frustration and the giant key reappearing in his hand.

"W-what just happened?" Sputtered Momo.

Tsuyu didn't stop for a beat. "I'm not one hundred percent sure either. Ribbit," She said slowly. "I don't know what's weirder, Bakugo's statement or Midoriya snapping like that."

Kyoka chimed in. "Yeah, I mean, c'mon, Bakugo. First lying, and now him laughing at you, be serious."

Katsuki, hearing the statement, stayed silent as he actually thought about it. She was right. "Yeah, that was kinda stupid." He would never admit that out loud. If anyone says otherwise, he'll blow them up.

Minoru then chimed in, "I kinda think Midoriya's words are crazier…I mean, not a quirk? What else could it be?"

Izuku, hearing the midget's words, nodded, "For once, Mineta and I agree…Oh wait, I should probably be writing all this down!" He then pulled out a pencil and notebook from…somewhere.

Ochako blinked at the sudden appearance of the notebook. "Where did that come from?"

Bola grumbled to himself, "I swear, if someone rips the fabric of space in here, I'll make them remend it themselves."

They just stared at the Keyblade. After a long and silent minute, the blonde turned around and started walking away. "I don't care that you have a toy sword now. I'm still gonna be the number one! So just don't get on my way and try not to die, Deku!" He still sounded pissed, but also in a weird way relieved. At least Izuku hopes so.

Denki faked an "Oh," cupping his ear, pointing the sides of his head towards the screen, "What's this I'm hearing? It seems. Bakugo is having…. A change of tune?" He faked being surprised.

Katsuki did not enjoy the teasing one-bit, "Dunce Face." He said lowly with a warning of malice.

Sero caught on and decided to egg the boy a bit. "Yeah, now that you mention it, he sounds a bit…relieved even."

Katsuki's eyes flashed dangerously. "Tape Arms!"

Ejiro finished it sincerely, "C'mon Bakugo. You can at least say the other you is a bit happy Midoriya has a power!" He nudged him.

Katsuki glared at him but didn't say anything. He gritted his teeth in frustration, "Damn it!"

With a movement of the hand, Izuku dismissed his Keyblade and started walking home again. But he was interrupted again.

"I AM HERE" All Might surges from one alleyway, stopping the boy.

Izuku couldn't stop the nervousness bubbling inside of him. They were getting closer to the truth, and he couldn't stop feeling afraid when everyone found out the truth about his quirk. He glanced at his mentor, almost asking him a question with his eyes only.

Toshinori noticed his successor looking at him with distress and nodded with a smile at him. Almost to reassure him that everything will be alright. It helped a little as Izuku's shoulders relaxed.

Katsuki was hiding his mouth behind his hands while grinning like a madman. Oh, this was going to be good!

Everyone else was unaware of what was coming and simply stared in shock.

"All Might again!"

"What's he doing here this time?!"

Tenya then chimed in, "Perhaps he's here to talk to and apologize to Midoriya."

Ejiro had a smile on his face, "Admitting to your mistakes is one of the manliest things you can do."

Tsuyu then chimed in, "Uh, isn't he way past his time limit for the day?"

"All Might, what are you doing here? I thought the reporters had gotten you" At this point, Izuku was too mentally tired to be surprised.

"HAHA! I ESCAPED FROM THEM BECAUSE I'M ALL MIGH-BLEEG!" In a burst of steam, the hero deflates, coughing blood, "Sorry, but now young man, let's talk about why I am here."

"And there it is." Croaked Tsuyu while a few students muttered their worries for their teacher.

Aizawa then shot a small glare at the man, "Please try to teach the students a bit about self-preservation."

Toshinori rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish expression while Inko giggled.

"Wonder what he wants with Deku, though." Muttered Ochako.

"I know what I did was stupid, and I only got in the way, but no one tried to help Kacchan, so I just moved and-" Izuku started to rant, only to be stopped by a hand on his left shoulder.

"Kid, calm down. That's not what I want to talk about. What I want to say is, I'm sorry." Toshinori finished with a sigh, leaving Izuku completely lost.

Ejiro would've cried over how manly All Might was being had it not been for Katsuki smacking upside the down, "Enough of this manliness sh-nonsense, Weird Hair!"

"Aw, c'mon, Bakugo!"

"No!"

"You're sorry? About what? I was the one that let the villain get away! If someone has to apologize, it's me-" Izuku had his second rant stopped by a chop on the head.

There were giggles around the room, a few people covering their mouths.

"The legendary Midoriya mumble stopped!" Denki joked.

Sero continued with a chuckle, "Just as the prophecies foretold, with a single silencing chop!"

"Geeze, kid relax, now let me finish, I'm sorry that I said those things to you at the rooftop, but from the way you said it, I thought you were quirkless and-"

Izuku promptly interrupts the man again, "I am."

"Awkward~" Denki sang along. His punishment was a jab from Kyoka and a punch on the head from Katsuki.

"Ow!"

"Shut up, Dunce Face!" Retorted Katsuki.

"You deserved that." Muttered Kyoka.

"What?"

"I said that I am quirkless."

"But young man, I saw you use your quirk to fight that villain."

"If it ain't a quirk, what is it?" Asked Mezo, with Mashirao humming in agreement.

Shouto then put his hands up, "I'm sure Midoriya will come up with some kind of answer."

Izuku threw up his hands, "I don't know!"

Shoto paused in shock before continuing, "Well, I guess we just have to watch and find out."

On the balcony, Bola threw his hands up while a golden ray of light descended on his form, "Finally! They learned!"

Izuku raises his hand, summoning his Keyblade again. "This isn't a quirk. It's a Keyblade." He's so confident of it even if he didn't know what a Keyblade is.

"Well, kid, if it's not a quirk, then how did it just pop into your hand?" Toshinori points to the weapon like it is obvious.

"He's got you there." Chuckled Mina as Izuku slumped in defeat.

"I don't know, I just started to run, and it appeared in my hand!"

"Wait, are you telling me that when you ran at that villain, you didn't even know you could do that."

"No! I didn't even realize that I was running until it showed in my hand! I just saw Kacchan in danger, and my legs moved on their own."

"Classic Deku." Ochako shook her head but couldn't keep her smile hidden. "You're always helping people in need!"

Shoto couldn't help but comment, "Even when they don't want you to."

Tenya shook his head in exasperation and started rubbing his head. "Please, try not to be as reckless, Midoriya."

"A pointless plea." Chuckled Fumikage.

"Ribbit. Yeah, Midoriya tends to head into danger head first, no matter how much we tell him not to." Tsuyu added her two cents.

Izuku merely sighed, accepting his fate. "I will never live this down, will I?"

'This kid just threw himself into the fray without even knowing he had a quirk? Maybe he is the one? But first-'

"Young man, when you had your quirk tested when you were a child, what the doctors say?"

Izuku is taken aback by the question, "I don't know. I don't really remember, most of my childhood, it's kinda fuzzy, but I think he said something about an extra toe joint."

This caused Izuku to look up and blink in confusion, "Don't remember?" He said out loud.

Hearing the boy's confusion, Nezu perked up, "Is something wrong, Mr. Midoriya?"

Izuku looked up and scratched his head, "Uh well…." He looked at the screen, "While I might have been only four, I remember the trip to the doctor….very well." He then slumped and looked down, "It wasn't a…very pleasant experience."

Nezu hummed, "I see."

Inko was also confused and wondered if something was wrong with her alternate son.

He perked up, "Though this does give me a better idea, and I think I have an idea of what's going on." He said, now writing in his notebook.

"You do?" Asked Toru, basically saying out loud everyone's question.

Izuku looked a little uneasy, "Well, it's just an idea for now, but it seems consistent with what we've seen so far." He quickly finished writing in his notebook and set it on his lap.

After hearing this, Katsuki was getting impatient, "Don't leave us hanging, Deku, spill!"

Ochaco perked up and said, "If you have an idea, then say it, Deku."

Denki then chimed in, "Don't be leaving us in the dark, Midoriya.

Nezu brought his two cents, "Please speak your mind, Midoriya. I'd very much like to hear what you have to say." He raised his paw.

After seeing everyone want to know, Izuku opened his notebook once more to read over the pages as he spoke. "Well, I'm not entirely sure, but whenever the other me would experience something big or a strong type of emotion, something would be set off, or he would see something."

Izuku began to turn the pages of his notebook. "I was pretty lost at first until he fell asleep, then I heard my own, huh, his voice…side note, think of something to call the other Izuku." The boy quickly wrote that down in the notebook before continuing. "Anyways, at first, I thought they were just random dreams, but it feels like these short bursts of me being unconscious wouldn't even be able to make dreams, let alone ones so vivid." He flipped to the next page once again. "But when he started to hear them and see them while awake, it began to occur to me that it could be something else, and now it feels more likely now that this scene just popped up."

Katsuki was tired of the back-and-forth charade, "Just spit it out already!"

While shocked by the boy's lack of patience, he continued, "He knows things and remembers things that I don't, but he says he can't remember something I remember being unpleasant." He stopped to look up at the paused screen of himself before looking back, "And then the title of this basically confirms what I'm thinking… It was called Shattered Memories."

Izuku looked back at the group, "So what if that me has amnesia?"

For a moment, the theater was silent. Then all hell broke loose again. Bola was done with that repeating gag, so he didn't let it continue this time. The man picked up two frying pans and hit them together repeatedly.

The noise made everyone stop, some with sensitive ears (Jirou more specifically) holding them in pain. The theater's owner looked down at the audience, "You got some things right, my dear bunny, but please reserve the dot-connecting moments for after the episode is over. Also, if you guys want to express your opinion on something, DON'T ACT LIKE A BUNCH OF ANIMALS." He cleaned his throat after his shout, "With that out of the way, back to it. This one is almost over."

'So he really is quirkless! But then how can he do that? Maybe he's just an exception to the rule. I mean, my quirk exists.'

The kids wanted to comment on that thought but decided to refrain, seeing Bola was getting annoyed with the constant interruptions.

"Well, kid, that doesn't change anything at the end of the day, you were the one who rushed to help where we, the so-called pros, kept watching from the sidelines, so I have to rectify my answer."

Everyone paused at that moment.

"Wait, he's gonna…" Koji perked up a bit. He'd been a little too quiet this whole time.

Toru was anxious in her seat, "Come on!"

Mina was practically jumping, "Say it! Say it!"

Sero leaned closer to the screen, "Come on, All Might! Don't leave us hanging!"

Izuku was already on the brink of tears. All Might was praising him, and it was like a dream.

The setting sun seemed to frame the hero like a light, somehow making this moment as memorable as he could ever hope. "YOU CAN BECOME A HERO."

Ejiro couldn't help as he screamed out, "YES! SO MANLY!"

Izuku was sobbing. Hearing his mentor's words again just brought a lot of emotions from that day. Eri and Ochako comforted him, understanding that this was his moment. Shouto also tried to be comforting, but all he did was give some awkward pats on his shoulder, with Tenya doing the same on the other shoulder with more unpleasant pats. Izuku didn't mind. They really were the friends he could ask for.

Denki was just as hyped as well, "We love to see it!"

Mashirao chimed In, "This would be a really good motivator if recorded."

Rikido nodded, "Yeah, it would pump me up whenever I'm feeling down!"

While Tsuyu nodded, she continued with, "I'm just happy that Midoriya finally got to hear what he needed."

Shouto hummed in agreement, "I think we can all agree on that."

That was what broke the floodgates; falling on his knees, Izuku could only cry. Finally, someone said the words that he so desperately needed to hear.

Izuku tensed. "Here it comes."

Ochako, noticing that Izuku was tensing, asked, "What's wrong, Deku?"

Thankfully for the green-haired teen, the screen did it for him.

"But that's not all; at the end, which inspired me to act as you, your heroic spirit was what made me act; the greatest quality of one hero is the ability to inspire, and for that, I choose you to be my successor, my quirk is yours if you accept."

The claps stopped as the All Might on the screen spoke. Aizawa's eyes widened before they flashed dangerously. "Are you telling me-?!" He glared at the former number one hero, "That explains things, but why wasn't I told about this?!"

One glance at Nezu told him the rat also knew about it. It was to be expected, but for Nezu to neglect telling him puts him on edge. He better have a good explanation; otherwise, he will be making rat stew.

Everyone was silent at first, too busy staring at the screen. Izuku was too busy gauging everyone's reaction as they were too shocked to notice him.

Katsuki, however, was grinning like a madman before bursting into laughter. That snapped everyone out of their funk and turned their attention to the laughing blonde.

"Your faces!" He cackled, "You should've seen them!" He understood why Rock Head brought them there now. That was hilarious!

"W-wait, Bakugou! You mean you knew about this?!" Yelled Kirishima.

"It actually happened?!" Gapped Kyoka.

Katsuki snorted, "Of course, it happened, and I knew! The nerd couldn't keep it to himself. He's a terrible liar."

Meanwhile, Ochako and Tenya had their mouths agape, staring at the screen stupidly. Eri blinked when Deku shrunk into himself. She didn't get it.

Why was Mr. Deku afraid? And why was everyone stunned? And what did Mr. All Might on the wall mean by giving his quirk?

Shouto blinked and said, "So does that make you All Might's secret love child after all?"

"Todoroki!" Izuku yelped, scandalized with a flushed face. All Might happened to hear that and coughed blood out of shock.

"Eh, the jury is still out on that." Bola decided to throw rocket fuel on the fire.

Izuku quickly reacted to that, "Don't encourage him!" He cried.

"Hum?" Was the entirely eloquent response, though that was to be expected in this situation."You can pass your power?"

"You can do that?!" Yelled Denki, pointing at Toshinori's indifferent expression.

Everyone looked up at him, expecting an answer, but all the man did was simply point to the screen, "Keep watching." That was all he said.

'Why does that ring a bell?'

Katsuki looked down, "You writing this down, Deku?"

Izuku looked up to him, the pencil never stopping, "Do you even have to ask Kacchan?"

Katsuki simply looked back up and smirked, "Nope."

Everyone could only stare numbly at the two.

"Yes, this quirk is called One For All," Toshinori raised his hand, and from it, a multicolored light appeared, "One person takes power and cultivates it, then passes it for another. That cycle has repeated eight times, and I'm offering for you to be the ninth holder of One For All."

Everyone gasped at the revelation.

"One For All…" A few of them uttered, testing the words.

Denki then caught on, "Wait! All Might is the eighth person to have it!"

Kyoka looked at him, "I'm surprised you actually managed to catch on."

"So mean!"

Mineta also caught on, "So seven people had it before."

"No duh you extras." Katsuki rolled his eyes.

Hanta then chimed in, "Are we just gonna ignore that All Might said he wanted Midoriya to be the ninth holder?"

Ochaco then realized, "Yeah, wait a minute!" She then looked at the boy, "Deku…do….do you-?!" She didn't know how to ask him

The screen, however, answered before the boy could stutter an answer.

At that moment, Izuku felt like he had done this before, that he was in that exact situation, so he followed his heart and said what he felt was right, "I accept!"

Everyone was too stunned to speak at first.

Tsuyu looked at Izuku with a finger on her chin, "So I was kinda right, ribbit. You don't have a quirk similar to All Might. Rather you have All Might's quirk."

"Mr. Deku…" Izuku looked at Eri. The little unicorn looked confused. "Does that mean you have Mr. All Might's quirk?"

Izuku scratched the back of his head and smiled nervously at her. "Yeah, All Might gave me his quirk."

The girl looked at him silently before hugging him, "You are still my hero." She said softly, holding him tight.

Izuku felt as though his heart was going to burst out of his chest. He smiled in relief and happiness before hugging her, "Thank you."

"So cute!" Everyone thought.

Denki then spoke, "It's kinda crazy to think Midoriya has All Might's quirk."

Sero finished with a, "You can say that again." He paused and thought for a second, "Wait, is that why you always broke your bones, Midoriya?!"

It then clicked for everyone in the theater who didn't know.

Izuku sheepishly answered, "Yeah." He scratched the back of his head, "If I use too much of One for All, my body will get a backlash which causes my bones to break."

Inko looked horrified while Toshinori scratched the back of his head with a guilty expression.

Aizawa then felt a headache forming, "It seems like I have two people to lecture now." He glared at the mentor and student.

Bola decided to chime in, "Ok! Everyone save your questions and lectures for the break!" Everyone was looking at him as he waved them off. "This episode is almost over anyway,"

"In your hand, take this key..."

"Wha-?"

Izuku looked up in surprise at the new unknown female voice, "W-who is that…?"

"What the fuck?" It was the only thing Katsuki could think of.

Izuku quickly wrote that down.

"So long as you have the makings, then through this simple act of taking…its wielder, you shall one day be."

Katsuki, having heard all of this, began to catch on fast. "It looks like Deku was given the weird Keyblade thing as well."

Izuku wrote it down in his notebook, "Yeah, but when?" He looked up to the screen, "Maybe when I was younger? Is that why the other me's memories are all fuzzy?"

Tsuyu chimed in, "So what I am hearing is we haven't made it past even square one?"

Everyone grimaced as Izuku nodded, "We're still completely in the dark."

While they were trying to wrap their brains around it, Eight spoke up, "Well, you can all discuss it in a second." He then looked down. "Sleppt, how long did we set the episode breaks to be?"

Sleppt answered back, "About fifteen minutes."

Eight then looked to his theater audience, "See, you have 15 whole minutes before we start episode two, and we have a few seconds left, so chill and watch."

While a little reluctant, everyone did as so.

And that is the beginning of the journey of how a boy accepted two legacies. And rose to be a guardian for all those in need.

"And there it is," Bola chuckled, "Now you guys can go crazy."

"I think the most important question is, what the hell?!" Denki yelled.

Bola nodded, "True. Enjoy thinking about it and wallowing in confusion for the next…." He brought his wrist up as if to check a clock, "Yes." The man descended into another fit of mad cackling.

"And when you're done freaking out," Dark said with utter boredom, not even looking at them, more focused on the novel she was reading, "You Lords and Mistresses may order more snacks before the next showing."

"Also, use the time to use the restroom if you need." Sleppt pointed at a set of doors on a corner that seemed to blend with the bleached white walls, which was probably the reason no one noticed them before.

"Midoriya has All Might's quirk." Mashirao said again, trying to get used to the notion and failing, "It explains a lot but leaves me with even more questions."

"The most confusing things are those weird glitchy scenes." Toru complained, "They show up out of nowhere, give us a jumpscare, are all fuzzy and buggy, and they only say some weird things that make no sense."

"I concur." Momo nodded, "The only ones there were mostly understandable still looked too unfocused to see the image clearly."

"Yes, the clear glimpses we had only showed concerning pictures." Fumikage grimaced with a hum.

Izuku went over his notebook again, quickly reading everything he noted over this other him. The most pressing thing to understand was that 'Keyblade.' What was it? What did it do? Who was that woman that apparently gave it to him?

At that rate, he would need more notebooks.

"Order up!"

Izuku jumped and yelped when a stack of notebooks tied with a rope suddenly dropped in front of him. "W-what?"

"You're welcome." Came Dark's blunt response when Izuku looked at her with bafflement.

"T-thank you?"

Aizawa ignored what was going on and instead gave All Might a flat stare, "So when were you planning to tell me I had a kid that had just received a quirk, which broke his bones on the regular, may I add?"

Toshinori sighed, "If I had my way? Never."

"What?!"

All Might shook his head at Aizawa's sharp tone, "The knowledge of One For All's existence is dangerous. We couldn't tell anyone else."

"You would leave Midoriya to keep breaking his bones then? I could have helped him if I knew why the fifteen-year-old kid who didn't know how to use his quirk had that problem because he only got it in the first place!"

"I trusted that Young Midoriya would have figured it out eventually, and he did." All Might defended his logic, "And he shouldn't have to worry about it for a long time. The boy is a first-year student. He shouldn't have seen a fraction of the number of villains he did."

Nezu cleared his throat to get their attention, "Gentlemen, I admit both of you have valid points, but arguing about something that has already come to pass is pointless."

Aizawa turned his glare to the principal, "And why didn't you do something?"

Nezu sighed, "Aizawa, you already accused All Might of favoritism more than once. What would you, and the rest of the school body, think if I suddenly had taken a student under my wing? Or even if I had simply allocated more resources to him than I offer any other of our students?"

The underground hero wanted to argue, but he knew he would have caused a scene without remorse at the first signal of unfair treatment. So instead he grumbled under his breath and looked away from both the Principal and Toshinori.

"What about me?" The other adult in the group asked. Inko's frown was heavy on her usually kind face, "Why didn't you two tell me?"

All Might sighed, "We were scared." He looked at Izuku before turning back to the woman, "I saw firsthand how knowing about One For All could destroy a family, how those that knew about it were in serious danger. Young Midoriya agreed with me that as long as you were safe, not telling you about One For All was a small price to pay."

Inko looked down, fidgeting with her hands, "I understand. I don't agree, but I understand."

Far away from the adult's conversation, Katsuki held his chin; something was bothering him, "Hey, that Keyblade thing, Deku knew how to use it a little too well."

Eijiro turned to him, "What do you mean?"

"Remember that moment after he chucked it on the ground?"

"Were you told him it was good he was fine, in your own way?" Eijiro smiled brightly, not bothered by the glare he received.

Katsuki tsked, "When he made it vanish, he didn't even question how to do it. He just flicked his wrist, and bam, it was gone."

Eijiro thought about it and had to agree, "Yeah, Midoriya looked like he knew everything about it from the start."

The blonde hummed. What was different between their Deku and that other one?

At his spot on the balcony, Bola looked down at the conversation about the episode and chuckled, "Oh, just you guys wait." He looked at the screen again, "Soon, you'll see that the butterfly's wing beats came from the other side of the world." He once more descended into cackles.

"All right, ladies." Dark said to them, pointedly ignoring Bola's mad cackles and unbothered by the men's frowns and irritation, "And Midoriya; I suggest you return to your seat. The next showing is about to begin."

There were a few grumbles from the male population, but everyone sat down and watched the screen as the countdown started. When it reached zero, a message of 'Press Start' appeared. Izuku pulled the old console controller again, glancing around to see if everybody was ready, and nodding to himself when he saw they were.

He pushed the button.
