THE ATTIC-(Part 2)
Bobby pictured everyone in the ball-room dancing with each other. He even pictured Benja and Sayaka slow-dancing together and talking about him being back to his old happy self.
Bobby imagined Dang-Hai walking over to Benja and Sayaka and congratulating them on the celebration.
He pictured Sayaka thanking Dang-Hai for congratulating her and Benja, her getting the attention of all the people-making them stop dancing, her thanking the people, her talking about her late friend, Runa, how they had known each other for a long time and how they use to talk about Benja all the time, the people erupting in brief laughter, her saying wonderful things about Runa and how she fell in love with Benja when they were in their 20s, Runa growing up among the people of Heart and Benja growing up in the palace as the Prince of his parents, her apologizing to Benja for the loss of them and him assuring her he was okay, her talking about Benja's parents and how they loved each other so much like Benja and Runa did, how no one had forgotten Runa and Benja's parents in spite of their passing, and how Benja brought all five nations together to honor Runa's final wish for Kumandra and her wishing Benja happy, cheerful days for the rest of his life.
In his mind, Bobby could see the people cheering and applauding Sayaka on her speech, along with Raya and the other four Princesses talking about her father being sad since the sudden un-timely death of her mother, Namaari asking Raya where her mother was buried and Raya revealing the temple to as her mother's final resting place and telling the story of the legend of Kumandra that her mother believed in and the supposed Dragon gem being hidden away inside the temple, Sayaka, Raya and Tami talking about her mother believing in the legend, and Namaari asking Raya if she could show her where her mother was buried, Raya agreeing, Umeko asking if she and the other two Princesses could come too, Raya granting them permission and explaining how they would sneak out to the temple tonight when everyone was asleep, to which the other four Princesses agreed.
Bobby felt a chill run down his spine as he recapped the last setence of the chapter...on how none of the Princesses knew that after tonight, none of their lives or the world would be the same ever again. Eager to find out what happened next, the boy turned the page to continue reading the story silently. "Chapter 8: Sneaking Out. Night time had fallen over the nation of Heart...and everyone had fallen asleep. All except Raya...and the other four Princesses."
