One Precious Moment
laurenalyse24 asked for a one-shot of season 6 where Snow and Charming visit baby Hanna in the orphanage after they temporarily get their memory back.
I know I said I only accept one-shots from seasons I've already written about on the main story, but since this was a flashback scene and doesn't have anything to do with the main storyline I went ahead and wrote it! :)
"She's in here," Snow said as she took Charming by the hand and led him into the infant room at the orphanage. She remembered making a baby blanket for a little girl named Hanna years ago. When the pixie flower woke her and Charming from Regina's curse, Snow knew exactly where to find her daughter.
"Snow, she's really ours?" Charming looked down at the baby in the crib.
"Mhmm…" Snow reached down into the crib and lifted the baby into her arms. She gave Hanna a kiss on the forehead and took in that sweet baby smell. "She's our little surprise."
"I can't believe it."
"Here why don't you take her," Snow reached out the baby to him.
Charming took the baby into his arms and cradled the back of her head just like he had done to Emma's when he took her to the wardrobe. "Snow, she's beautiful."
Snow nodded her head and wiped the tears that fell from her eyes. She reached out and took ahold of her daughter's tiny hand. She watched as her sweet girl opened her eyes and looked up at them. "Hi, Hanna. It's Mommy and Daddy." Snow gave her hand a kiss.
"Hi princess," Charming said with a smile.
Snow and Charming soaked up this one precious moment they had with their little girl, but knew they couldn't stay long. Regina probably already found out that John Doe was missing and would be searching for him. They had to go find Rumple. He would know how to get to Emma. They knew Hanna was safe here and they would come back for her as soon as they found her sister.
Snow's tears started to fall again. She knew they were running out of time. "Charming we have to…"
"I know," Charming said as tears filled his eyes. He knew they needed to find Emma and couldn't take the baby with them. He reached down and gave Hanna a kiss on the top of her head. "We'll see you soon princess." He handed her back to Snow.
Snow took the baby into her arms. She rocked Hanna for just a few more minutes until she was sound asleep and placed her back into her crib. "We love you Hanna." Snow reached out and gave Hanna one more kiss before leaving to find their other daughter.
