~Attractive Altomare Chapter 5~
~An Evening Nuance~
Legacy of Time: It's cool to see all the people who got in this story for the ride and it's definitely made me wanna continue the course. Let's see what things we get up to in this new chapter. Enjoy~
Latias had woken up about an hour ago, but now she was lazily floating about in the fountain at the base of the soul dew's resting area. The wonderful night of lovemaking had certainly made her a bit sore, but the good kind at the very least. Some of the Pokemon that lived in the garden had said she was practically glowing like the sun. Latias simply blushed and brushed off the good spirited comments.
She truly enjoyed living in this place. It was a splendid piece of land that had been around long before even Latias was born. All of the Pokemon here were fun loving souls and she probably played with most of them at some point in her life, but she couldn't shake the feeling that things were a bit too same-y. Perhaps Latias had finally become a bit bored of the daily routine.
Latias shifted in the water to look at an item she'd been toying with for well over an hour now. It was a PokeBall, not just any PokeBall. Bayleef's Pokeball that she'd snatched off Ash's belt when he was moving her the other night into a more comfortable place. She had pretended to be asleep for that moment because of just how much she enjoyed the attention. Latias couldn't help but love any he sent her way. So, she wondered just how much his Bayleef's love truly was toward him even though she'd seen what this rapscallion had done.
Latias brought the ball closer and tapped the ball's opening mechanism. Within mere seconds, Bayleef popped out of the ball and was completely soaked as she fell into the water. Then Bayleef began to sink as she shuffled her legs around before deciding to fire vines out to grip the edge of the fountain's main pool.
"What's the big idea?! Why would you do this?!" She questioned the oblivious looking Latias who just smiled lazily.
"I was just wondering if you'd like a soak and to talk a bit more about the other day?" Latias asked the dinosaur.
Bayleef frowned, almost letting her vines loose in the process, "I- Is he here?" She shook a bit, looking around the area.
Latias giggled a bit at her apprehension which didn't really endear Bayleef to her all that much, "No, he's not here. Ash is probably doing something else on the island." She sighed, "He's an attentive man, you know?"
Bayleef turned to the psychic and uttered a confused, "What?"
Latias grinned as she continued, "Well, let's just say that Ash is really gifted." Bayleef had an idea where this was going.
Bayleef was blushing already despite her narrowing eyes, "You mean he actually… Did "that" with you? Fully?" She added the meaningless question as if it were a tagline and it worked because Latias was already giggling about the way Bayleef had asked.
"You're way too serious about this, but yes. He was really good!" Latias said to the sexually frustrated dinosaur.
To Bayleef, that just reinforced her idea from before. She could have probably got him to want her without any Attract shenanigans, but her wants were much larger than the need to think at that time. Bayleef's jealously toward the red and white jet Pokemon were growing at a dangerously fast pace.
Latias watched as Bayleef pulled herself out of the water. Once she touched the ground outside, Bayleef glared back at Latias who was still just watching with that little smile of hers.
The medium sized dinosaur grunted with effort, shooting her vines at Latias. They snapped around the jet dragon's form with extreme prejudice and pulled her from the water much to Latias's surprise. But before Bayleef could do much of anything, Latias had already broken free from the vines with a quick teleport.
Bayleef turned around to find herself face to face with the scarlet psychic, "Are you trying to battle me or something?" Latias asked with a bit of trepidation.
Bayleef, frustrated and ready for conflict, shouted back, "I'm not just going to stand here and let you taunt me about someone I love!" That statement was then followed by bladed leaves launching themselves at Latias who stopped them in midair with a quick psychic attack.
'That was close…' Latias thought as she realized that Bayleef was gone, 'What? Where?' She questioned herself.
Bayleef didn't answer because she was already over the top of Latias! Dropping down from the air with a Body Slam that Latias managed to see just out the corner of her eye. As Bayleef prepared to slam her down, Latias disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared to the side. She ended up watching as Bayleef cracked the ground with a heavy impact before looking over to Latias with heavy frustration at how she'd missed. Bayleef's vines retracted back to her side.
Latias was impressed by Bayleef's raw tenacity, 'She used the vines to grab a tree limb to pull herself up in that body slam. That was cool!' She thought as Bayleef reared up to attack her again.
Desperate to gain some common ground, Latias spoke up, "I thought we had already talked everything out!" Latias said, trying to ready herself for whatever may come next.
Bayleef knew that much was true, but she had also been in such a sad state of mind. Having even a little time would be enough to think about what she wanted to do next. Bayleef understood that she would have to tell Ash no matter what. It didn't mean that Bayleef would take an insult like this lying down. There ain't no way this hussy was taking Ash from her for good.
Latias floated backward slightly as a rush of weakness hit her. She had been breathing at an elevated rate and the immediate area was filled with a sweet scent of sorts. Bayleef flared her leaf out and slung it forward, shooting a barrage of razor leaves at her opponent which all hit successfully much to Latias's displeasure.
Hitting the ground, Latias slid for a moment before stopping awkwardly on her side. She had a few scrapes and cuts on her body. Bayleef was huffing a bit at the effort she was putting out. It had been a while since her last battle, so it was expected. However, Bayleef's mind was filled with shock as Latias's damage seemed to be disappearing entirely.
'She's just able to heal it all away?!' Bayleef thought while she took up a broad stance and snorted, preparing for the long haul.
Latias was up within seconds and used her wings to blow the sweet scent away. Bayleef looked frustrated and wrought with tiredness from the few moves she had done while Latias was just raring to go at this point. Not to mention just how active Latias was in making sure the town stayed safe in all her patrolling. Her body was perfectly fit, muscled to the point of perfection for just about any occasion.
Latias sighed in annoyance, "You're really determined, aren't you?" She disappeared in a flash of light.
Bayleef turned to the side, seeing a tree and a swing in one direction. She looked back to find nothing there as well. Suddenly, Latias reappeared right before Bayleef's face, much to her surprise. It caused her to jump back only to fall and land upon her very back. Latias giggled as she watched Bayleef tilt back and forth while kicking her legs in the air.
Despite the damage she'd taken earlier, Latias wasn't taking this seriously. That served to burn Bayleef further as she wiggled back and forth in abject frustration before finally unleashing her vines to get herself upright.
Latias let out a small coo before immediately narrowing her eyes, "You really wanna battle for real? I can probably beat you very easily unless you can use Synthesis." She said to the huffing grass type.
Bayleef gave her a haughty smirk as sweat cascaded down her forehead, "I can actually, but it's been a while." She had put a lot of effort into learning Attract and put off using her other moves quite a bit. This had put her on an early back foot in this battle, but she had to do something!
So she focused. Her entire mind began to reach and grip for the move that hid on the edge of her subconscious. Bayleef struggled with the very idea of gaining access to the healing move until she began to glow. Her body began to be covered in a white light until she stood more upright. The light faded, revealing that Bayleef was fully recovered of her stamina.
No longer huffing away, Bayleef was happy to stretch a bit, "It worked! I was able to reuse Synthesis!" Bayleef then let loose a flurry of leaves! Of course, they were shredded by Psychic before the green blades even had a chance to reach Latias.
Latias really felt like there was no point to this, "This is going to more than likely be a stand still even if you can heal. Can we just talk it out?" Bayleef shook her head at the question. A battle was a great way for her to decide how things with Ash would go. It was in their nature to do so.
"No way, I won't let you have him even if he wants you!" Bayleef said as Latias frowned.
"I guess I should have figured… Looks like we can't do this any other way. You still intend to let him know what you did, right?" She asked the yellow and green dinosaur who nodded in response.
"Good, then I'll show you who's boss now and maybe we'll work something out later." Latias said as she shifted into a much more serious looking glare, "Because he was mine not technically first, but he is now." She finished while completely disappearing into thin air. Bayleef was shocked because this wasn't some simple teleportation. Latias blasted past Bayleef, but she had only felt the gust of wind coming from her side.
It actually sent Bayleef crashing onto her side. Recovering quickly and standing upright, Bayleef looked around the area, yet Latias hadn't reappeared yet much to her chagrin. In fact, just to the side, Bayleef could hear the wind chimes spinning from one side. Latias was blasting through the area and shifting the wind as she pleased with every pass through. It was impossible for Bayleef to track her invisible form. So, she closed her eyes and waited on the next available chance to do a counter attack.
The wind passed between her four legs and blew her leaf in multiple directions yet Bayleef just stood there letting it pass by. Her mind was focused, all her past battles were ringing through her mind just like flowing water. When Latias closed in, preparing a weather ball, Bayleef leaped into battle, using her vines to jump up. Latias was flabbergasted by the second time use of the move and even more surprised when Bayleef landed on her back like she'd known exactly where the muscled jet dragon would be.
'No way! She could feel out where I was despite the invisibility?!' Latias thought while trying to mitigate a potential unintended landing.
The extra weight brought Latias lower to the ground as Bayleef prepared to unleash a point blank Razor Leaf only for Bayleef to be slammed into the dirt herself. Rolling and toppling over in a pained heap, Bayleef grunted as a tree stopped her advance. Once she came to a stop from said tree, she slumped and hit the ground. What had even happened?
Latias floated next to the knocked out Bayleef with a bit of concern etched on her face, "Are you okay?" She asked the knocked down Bayleef.
"Bayyyyyyy…." She let out weakly as her body slumped backwards.
Of course Bayleef couldn't properly respond. So, Latias did the next best thing. Turning into her human form, she quickly picked up Ash's Pokeball for Bayleef and put her inside it.
A little sad about how it ended, but Latias would take an easy victory over having to force out a grind-y situation. Heading to the Pokemon Center would be her next best action if she had to guess. So, Latias did just that, leaving the garden in a rush through Lorenzo's gondola shop where she was stopped by him himself.
"Oh? Latias! What are you up to?" The older man asked as she replied hastily with a game of charades.
She showed him a Pokeball and then pointed at the entrance to the Secret Garden. Latias punched the air and then playfully punched herself to depict a battle of sorts. Latias then grabbed an item off Lorenzo's desk and threw it at the wall as lightly as she could manage. Where it would fall to the ground in some mock defeat. Latias then put her hand toward her mouth in mock laughter implying that she won while crossing her arms and nodding away with a satisfied smile on her face and closed eyes of a seasoned protector. At least in her mind.
Lorenzo scratched his beard in thought, 'Strange, maybe she won a game of sorts.' it was the only thing he could think of, so he rolled with that.
Lorenzo nodded, "Yes, I see. You must have won a game! Glad to hear it. Hope you had fun!" He said while she nodded enthusiastically.
"Whatever you end up doing. Just be careful." Lorenzo said as Latias leaned down to give him a hug which he returned before letting her go. She waved at him, opening the door to the front of the shop and then left.
As the door shut, Lorenzo picked up the hammer she had halfheartedly thrown at the wall. Sighing to himself as he stared at another one of his masterpieces. He was completely content with his lot in life. A perfect Gondola was something to appreciate. He loved watching the excitement on someone's face when they finally got to put it in the water and sail out.
'Just a bit more work and this one will be out by the day.' Lorenzo thought while setting the hammer back on his desk.
Yes, this was life indeed.
~With James and Meowth~
The two had narrowly escaped Jessie's wrath from her falling out. They were a bit staggered to say the least at this point. Having run down the scenic beach side of Altomare. They now found themselves heading back toward the main town portion. A set of stairs was what stood between them and the lovely place.
"I just don't get it, Meowth… How will I get Jessie to get away from that Twerp? Have you seen him? He's just built differently!" James gripped the railing of the stairs tightly as the two stepped up.
Meowth wasn't really into the conversation topic, but he still wanted to help his buddy, "All you's gotta do is step up! You gotta be da man! It's not dat hard!" Meowth said as James turned on the cat.
"You say that, but it's never that simple! I mean, how did things go with your first love?!" James exclaimed his question and Meowth faltered slightly.
Meowth quietened up at that, "You don't gotta hit below da belt! Dat's unfair! Meowzie isn't a part of your love problems!" Meowth retorted at his purple haired friend.
James smirked, "She certainly isn't part of yours either!" He argued back as Meowth gasped in pain.
Meowth's face contorted into a fiery anger, "Dats too far! I have half da mind ta call Jessebelle for that!" James stopped himself right there, that name gave him horrible chills.
"N- No way! You wouldn't dare!" James retorted with a slight stammer.
Meowth grinned evilly as one does, "You wanna bet?!" But James was already cowering at the very idea.
"Let's not get crazy here! I'm sorry, Meowth. I shouldn't have said that!" He replied hastily as Meowth sighed.
'It's not like I even have dat crazy woman's number, but dis'll do.' He thought while racking his brain for an idea to help James out of his current dilemma.
Suddenly, he was reminded of when they first got here. Some nice young woman with a white beret on her head had been handing out fliers. Said it was a part of her job with the museum to promote historical events that happened every year in Altomare. That was it! Meowth had an amazing idea!
He grinned while putting his paws together, "James, I got an idea!" James perked up at that.
"Oh? What's that?" James asked Meowth who turned to him with a wider smirk.
"You should get into dat Tour Da Altomare and use your mastery of da water Pokemon to impress Jessie!" Meowth said as James's eyes widened.
James' smile also widened, "That's genius, Meowth! Only one problem…" He trailed off as they walked down the block.
It was Meowth's turn to ask, "What's dat?" James gritted his teeth.
"I don't have any water Pokemon that can do a race like that!" James yelled as he flopped onto his knees, "I will never achieve that plan of yours, Meowth!" He said overdramatically to Meowth who also seemed to be hit with a ten pound weight of his own.
"You could wear that Moltres costume and get some confidence…" Meowth mumbled to James.
James turned to the side, "We weren't ever supposed to speak of that again."
Meowth grinned, "I don't remember promising nothing." James lowered his head in shame while Meowth snickered.
But then, James had a stroke of genius pass through his mind, "Hold on! I can phone in a favor! A Poliwrath straight from the rocket base should be able to cover me!" He pulled out his Rotom Phone.
"Meowth, what was that number again?" He asked his feline friend who scratched his own chin in thought.
"It was 4445678. Dey made it an easy phone number to remember." Meowth said as James dialed it in.
"Right, let's show that Twerp and Jessie who's boss!" James had a grin of his own thanks to this idea. In a few days, he'd have the last laugh.
~With Bianca~
Bianca walked through the city, her finished art piece strapped to her back. It had been a long day for her. This would be one of her finest works yet or at least she hoped it would be. Several kids rushed by with a friendly wave which she returned with a warm smile and a wave of her own. These alleyways were truly a dream-like place to go through.
The twisting turning maze followed by so many different paths to take were always so intriguing. Bianca sighed as she took her time through these paths. Several different shortcuts later and she found herself coming up on the walkway covered in roses and thorns. Bianca walked over the grated bridge and watched the water flow underneath. She saw Chinchou and Seaking just swimming through the water lazily.
She sometimes envied that. The ability to just flow into whatever situation was necessary. To be one with the waves as a person might say. She'd gotten used to her daily habits over the last while and she made decent money. What more could someone ask for? Suddenly, Bianca stopped in her tracks. She looked around and then turned quickly backwards to slap the air only to find Latios reappearing just before she had hit him.
"Don't scare me like that, Latios! I thought someone else was watching me!" Bianca said as Latios sweatdropped and floated backward slightly.
She sighed, giving him that familiar warm smile, "Let's get on home. I've gotta get this to my room." She said as Latios nodded, floating behind her a bit closer now.
Latias floated behind them both, just watching the fun from afar. She knew her brother was just playing with fire at this point, but she couldn't stop herself from wanting to see something funny happen. She truly felt just like Mama in this situation and was glad to be here for it.
'Bro~ Are you ok?' Latias spoke into his mind.
'Sis~ Yes… Stop trying to mess around.' Latios said in return which made Latias giggle a bit.
As Bianca, Latios, and Latias passed through the illusion wall, they saw what looked to be an intense battle area. Bianca almost fell forward in exasperation at the sight of all the damage done to the inner sanctum of the Secret Garden.
Latios frowned and a vein had popped forth on his head, 'What happened?!' His psychic thoughts had hit both Latias and Bianca at the same time.
Latias just quietly floated next to them with a wide eyed silent approach to the situation.
Lorenzo was walking toward them, "I believe that I can answer your question, Latios. Latias was playing a game earlier." He turned to the other Latias that Latios was about to give a stern talking to, "Not that Latias." He said as Latios backed down and Latias sighed a breath of relief.
"Anyway, guess we'll have to clean up after her a bit. Shouldn't be too much trouble." Lorenzo said as Bianca shook her head.
Lorenzo had become a bit more easy going as time had passed. Sure, he could be strict at some points when it came to being a gondola architect and the appreciation of history, but those moments were more rare at this point. Age was getting the better of him yet he wouldn't change his lifestyle to better suit that age. He hadn't even considered the thought of retirement. Yes, Lorenzo was incredibly dedicated to his family's legacy and hopes his daughter would find someone to share that with. In the back of his mind, Ash was a pretty decent candidate.
He already had an idea of what was going on because you can't really fool an old wise man. He chose to ignore it because why get in the way of this young man? Especially a young man that he respected. Yes, Lorenzo would wait till they told him at the proper time. That much was guaranteed.
"Let's get to it." Lorenzo said as Latios and Latias nodded, following the old man. Bianca got up to join them.
~With Latias~
Latias hurried toward the Pokemon Center with Bayleef's Pokeball in her hand. Her hair blew back and forth as her body swayed with each step forward. Running past a few different people she'd probably helped at some point or another, Latias eventually would see a person she recognized. Stopping in her tracks and skidding to a stop, Latias found herself standing right in front of a surprised Ash Ketchum.
He could tell who she was immediately, "Hey, you're in a rush!" He tried to avoid calling her by name in case anyone was listening.
Turns out, he was correct. Just to the side was none other than Jessie who had been snubbed earlier by Ash. She frowned as she saw the girl walk up to Ash and hug him.
'Hmmph, I see. So, he has a girlfriend now? Interesting…' She watched as they turned and walked out of view. Jessie decided to not follow them strangely enough and just left to report on Ash to the boss.
Latias grabbed his arm, pulling Ash close as they walked to the Pokemon Center in question. She just wanted to take it slow with him in tow now.
They had both leaned into one another, enjoying each other's company. They talked about their day by passing thoughts back and forth. She would laugh at his circumstances and he would listen to the details of her dreams making for an unforgettable conversation. Pikachu was asleep in his bag still tuckered out from the adventures it had at night. Latias would be the person he spent the rest of the night with no doubt. Ash couldn't ask for a much better way to enjoy the evening.
As the Pokemon Center came into view, Ash was a bit confused, "Are you hurt?" He asked Latias, but she shook her head and produced Bayleef's Pokeball.
Ash looked at it for a mere moment before sighing, "Bayleef caused you some trouble? She's always like this when I'm around other women." Ash took hold of the Pokeball and put it on his belt.
'On the contrary, I think we had a good time. She's fun.' Latias spoke into his head.
'That's good to hear, but did she attack you?' He asked her to which she remained silent, 'So, yes?' He asked her once more.
Latias nodded slowly, 'I'm sure she meant well…' She returned as Ash shook his head.
"No. That's as far as I can take that." Ash took one more look at the Pokeball before nodding, "I'll just have to send her back to Professor Oak." He said as they walked closer toward the entrance of the Center in question.
Latias wasn't sure that was a good idea herself though. She had seen the memory of what Bayleef had done, but she seemed more remorseful about doing that to Ash. What's more, she hasn't even had the full opportunity to tell him and try to atone. She had to stop him.
'Ash, I don't think that's a good idea.' Her voice echoed inside his head.
Ash stopped moving forward as Latias held onto his side, 'Then what do you suggest I do? I might love my Pokemon, but I won't let them hurt anyone close to me just because of that.' Latias was touched by the heartfelt words, but she had to help figure all this out.
'Maybe we should all get a private room to talk and clear the air.' Latias telepathically sent the thought into his mind.
Ash pondered on this idea, he wasn't sure about it. Latias's implication could help do exactly what she said, but Bayleef would probably be a bit more proactive and do something drastic. Latias listened in on his thoughts and had heard no real answer coming from the man.
She lowered her eyes a bit as she took a different approach, 'You know~' Her sickly sweet voice echoed in his head as she leaned closer to his face which made Ash's thought process stop entirely to focus on her beauty, 'If we squash out whatever issues she is having. Things might turn out for the better~' She leaned in further in a rather dominating performance that left Ash speechless as she captured his lips.
Several people were walking by for the moment. One even dropped their sunglasses, letting out a, "Damn… Wish that were me." Ash had heard that, but he was still in a different world. A world being led by a cute loving Pokemon that had opened his heart and mind to all kinds of strenuous possibilities. All of that in a neat package that looked like her sister. Ash felt a bit stiff in one place as Latias finally pulled back, gently tugging on his lower lip before letting it free.
'Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh…' was having a little trouble processing all that raw sexual energy that was unleashed on him in that moment.
Latias giggled slyly as she stepped back, 'Let's try it my way. If things don't work out. You can do what you wanted to do first.' Ash simply nodded in agreement. Latias then grabbed his arm and together they continued on their path to the Pokemon Center. Going inside and getting Bayleef healed.
Near the boating docks, a ship had just sailed in. There were at least five passengers on said ship. As the ship was docked, the bridge was lowered on the side to allow the passengers off. One such passenger looked into the evening sky and the moon reflected in her eyes.
This woman had familiar orange hair that was well past her shoulders. She wore a white swimsuit with blue edges that hugged the contours of her body. Her blue eyes sparkled in the light of the moon and she had a Togetic riding on her shoulder. She looked stunning as she picked up her luggage to head for the Pokemon Center on the island.
