07/25/2656- More Details Released on the Hierarchy Attack in Cyclops Delta
"Today, Hierarchy Admiral Tiran Rix revealed new information on the Hierarchy's police action that began two days ago. The target is a pirate anchorage built into an asteroid that has been used as a meeting, repair, and storage point for the remnants of the raiding fleet and several local pirates they have begun associating with. The Hierarchy force has wiped out all space assets at the target, but the pirates on the asteroid remain, having repelled the attempts by the 22nd Legion to reach beyond the docking facilities taken in the first attack. The total amount of supplies available to the pirate is unknown, alongside their exact number, but observations of the base so far and the emptied storage bays within the port lead the Hierarchy to believe their are at least several hundred pirate remaining, and that they have the supplies needed to last at least a week under current conditions."
