8/8/2656- Assassination Attempt on Specter Tela Vasir

"Today, assassins attacked famed asari Specter Tela Vasir while she was traveling between Giansirun and Drasasarin city on the planet Survoi. The Specter has been on Survoi for the last few days, investigating the Free Salarian Alliance and its terrorist actions. Her shuttle was taken down by several missiles, crashing into the swampland 113 kilometers from Giansirun. The assassins then launched an attack on the wreck using 30 individuals armed with military grade equipment, including several machine guns and grenade launchers. Specter Vasir predictably survived the crash, and managed to kill almost all of her assailants, with some reports stating she captured several for interrogation. There has been no comment from the Council or Specter Vasir since the incident, though the military escort for several Dalatrass shuttles across the plant have been significantly increased."
