8/30/2656- Major Battle Between Terminus Warlords Begins

"Today, the naval forces of Ellanen F'Nos, President for life of the Terminus Democratic Free People's Union, and Dragur Vorn, Warlord and Battlemaster of the Nyx Void, came to blows in orbit of the planet Solassun. The 9th Battle of Solassun began with ground attacks across the planet's surface, targeting ground to orbit weapons, orbital weapons command centers, and other important targets. The attacks consisted of an army of local rebels supported by a large corp of Vorn's troops somehow smuggled onto the planet's surface. While not all of the targets appear to have been taken or destroyed, we can confirm that over half of all known weapons batteries, and several previously unknown ones, were taken out in the attack. Soon after the attacks, a large fleet of Vorn's warships jumped through the Relay in Solssun's orbit, catching the defenders by surprise. No information has come out of the system in the last 5 hours as a result of the destruction of known Comm Buoys, leaving the fate of the battle unknown."
