Chapter 6 – The Golden Gauntlet
(Glynda): It's the moment you've all been waiting for, our Main Event! Seattle is fired up, and we have guests in the audience!
Cut to Yang Xiao Long, waving to the camera.
(Sajuna): Yang Xiao Long, former JWW and NXT Tag Team Champion, and she hopes someday to be in the Golden Gauntlet, but she's in The Grand Tournament.
Cut to Kikuko Hattori, applauding and smirking.
(Abnes): And look who it is, the One-Eyed Bumass, Hattori!
(Glynda): She'll also be in the Grand Tournament, this year. You know who else is here?
Tanukichi Okuma pumps his fists high, as the fans cheered.
(Glynda): The man himself, Tanukichi!
(Sajuna): The reigning UCPW/JWW Speed Champion! Fresh off a victory over Emerald Sustrai, in their fifth and final match.
(Glynda): The #1 contender for the United States Championship, he'll face PT Knight, next week, on SmackDown. Talk about lucky.
Cut to Sayaka Suzuki (from Pani Poni), who's pumping her fists and smiled.
(Sajuna): And speaking of luck, we have the luckiest girl in the world, UCPW Legend, Miss #6 Sayaka Suzuki!
(Glynda): UCPW's First-ever Grand Slam Winner, and a former World and Tag Team Champion.
April & January waved to the crowd, as the camera cut to them.
(Abnes): Speaking of former champions, Tag Team Legends, April & January Marciano! They get to watch tonight's main event.
(Sajuna): Former tag champs in their own right. It's great to see them here in Fight Club.
Cut to the Witches 5, as the fans cheered, as everyone waved, including Mimete, who does a little jig.
(Glynda): And the first team to compete as champions in The Golden Gauntlet, former JWW Tag Team Champions, The Witches 5!
(Abnes): and Mimete, already shuffling those fancy feet.
(Glynda): The stars are out, live from Seattle, as we're moments away from our Main Event at Fight Club!
The bell rings, as Samantha Irvin (from RAW) is in the middle of the ring.
"JWW Galaxy! UCPW Universe! Seattle, Washington! Your main event tonight is The Golden Gauntlet Match… for the World Tag Team Championship!" She announced, as the tag team titles are on the pedestal, near the timekeeper's area, "Here are the rules – four teams will enter the ring first. Once a team has been eliminated, another team will enter the match. This will continue, until all twelve teams have entered the ring. Elimination occurs by pinfall or submission. The last team standing will win The Golden Gauntlet, and the World Tag Team Championship!"
(Glynda): And a big thanks to Samantha Irvin from RAW, who'll announce tonight's main event! And there you see, the World Tag Team Titles!
(Sajuna): Currently vacated, after Winter Schnee stripped The Judgment Day of the titles, due to failure to defend the gold, within 30 days.
(Glynda): Inui, it's been eighty days now. But nonetheless, tonight we will crown NEW Tag Team Champions!
(PA): It's a NEW DAY! YES IT IS!
The New Day's theme hits, as Seina Katsura & Mayura Ichikawa head to the ring.
(Samantha Irvin): Introducing the participants, first… the team of Seina Katsura and Mayura Ichikawa, The New Day!
(Sajuna): The luck of the draw, and it might favor The New Day!
(Glynda): And already the first of four teams to enter… Last year, The Witches 5 lasted throughout the entire match, only to be the second to last team to be eliminated.
(Sajuna): And already 13 Tag Team Reigns, together… Seina Katsura a 15-time Tag Team Champion! A Hall of Fame accomplishment for The New Day.
The New Day enters the ring, as the next team comes in. The Yamai Sisters walked in, as Yuki Takeya was leading them. Fans chanted in rhythm to American Made's theme "You suck! You suck! You suck!".
(Samantha Irvin): Next, accompanied by Yuki Takeya, representing American Made… Kaguya & Yuzuru, the Yamai Sisters!
(Glynda): American Made has NOT BEEN in a great run.
(Sajuna): Fresh off a huge L against The Wyatt Sicks, in an 8-person Street Fight. Yuki Takeya says that she's moved on. Throwing in the towel, and giving up. Now, Master Takeya has a better focus.
(Abnes): The fans in Seattle are letting them know! BOO THIS PRICK!
The Sisters enter the ring, as the next team enters. Sheea walked in, accompanied by Suzuka and Mez. Legado theme plays.
(Samantha Irvin): Accompanied by Sheea, representing Legado del Cuervo… Suzuka and Mez!
(Glynda): From UCPW Blue, Suzuka & Mez, two-thirds of Legado del Cuervo, led by the Empress of Lucha Libre, Sheea.
(Sajuna): Hopefully, they'll shake off the fright from The Boogeylady, here tonight.
The lights go out, and The Judgment Day's theme plays.
(Glynda): And the final team to start off our main event.
Kyoko and Sayaka emerge from the darkness. Sayaka conducts the end of the intro, and Kyoko bites her apple, and spews fire upwards from her mouth. Pyro goes off, at the same time.
(Abnes): WHOA!
(Sajuna): Fired up and pissed off!
(Samantha Irvin): And the final participants, representing The Judgment Day… Kyoko Sakura and Sayaka Miki!
(Sajuna): I would not want to be these two ladies.
(Glynda): The Judgment Day's Sayaka Miki and Kyoko Sakura, representing JWW Osaka, on behalf of their Queen, Women's World Champion, Mami Tomoe. And just announced, The Judgment Day is banned from ringside. If any of them interferes in any way, shape, or form, then Kyoko & Sayaka's chances of regaining the World Tag Team Championship to The Judgment Day are gone.
(Sajuna): Kyoko and Sayaka look to win back the titles they never lost… in fact, the titles they never defended, since winning the gold!
Kyoko & Sayaka slid under the ropes and were at the center of the ring. They posed, as the fans booed them.
(Glynda): Former champs, Tenma Tsukamoto and Pyrrha Nikos, defeated Jonesy Garcia and Kanaka Nanase to win the titles, this past July, and haven't defended the titles since. A chance for Kyoko and Sayaka to bring the titles back. And they have held tag team gold before.
(Sajuna): Former JWW Tag Team Champions, and hired thugs for Mami Tomoe, as part of The Glorious Power of The Judgment Day.
The four teams stared down, as the referee was in the ring. The bell rings, as the match starts with Kyoko and Mayura.
(Glynda): This is a Golden Gauntlet match, two superstars will start in the ring, and elimination occurs by pinfall or submission. You get the pin, your entire team is out, and another team steps in.
Mayura goes after Kyoko, but Kyoko ducks and tags in Mez. Kyoko chuckles, as Mez enter the ring.
(Glynda): And Kyoko wants no part of this.
(Sajuna): Strategy by The Judgment Day, refusing to be a part of this match. But they are, and in Kyoko & Sayaka's terms, competing under protest.
(Abnes): You just wait. They'll get theirs. They have 8 others waiting.
(Glynda): Again, four teams at the same time, no disqualifications, but you have to be tagged in for the legal fall.
Mez and Mayura lock up, and Mez started to land offense onto Mayura. Kyoko and Sayaka hopped off the apron, and waited by the announce table.
(Abnes): And look at this!
(Glynda): And these two want no part of this, as they are going to watch! They want the gold back with The Judgment Day, and they want to wait.
Seina, Kaguya, & Yuzuru surround them, as Kyoko and Sayaka were shaken. They started to beat down on Kyoko and Sayaka.
(Abnes): You forget one thing! There's a lot more people that don't want to see a bunch of lazy superstars!
(Glynda): and the brawl near our announce table! Meanwhile… Suzuka tags in!
Suzuka and Mez hit a Double Suplex on Mayura, but Mayura counters with a Double Clothesline. Mayura hits a right to Mez, and a left to Suzuka. She alternates lefts and rights, and did a spin around and double-legged split, and lands a Double Clothesline against to Suzuka & Mez.
(Abnes): A LITTLE MONTE FISTO IN SEATTLE!
(Sajuna): Mayura holding the fort, while outside the ring, we got to get order here!
Officials and security separate the rest of the combatants, as Mayura called, "SEINA!"
Seina hops back up, and then tags her in. Mayura nods, and hits a Reverse DDT, and Seina lands a Top Rope Leg Drop. Seina goes for the cover, but Mez breaks up the pinfall.
(Glynda): And almost the first elimination.
Kaguya hopped to the apron, and tags herself in, on a prone Suzuka. Kaguya rushes into the ring and hits Seina with a Shoulder Tackle.
(Sajuna): Now, one-half of The Yamais have entered the ring. Yuki Takeya in delight, and focused.
(Glynda): Last year, Yuki competed with her former partner and friend, Kurumi Ebisuzawa. Made it near the halfway point, too.
(Sajuna): And already Yuki's getting the team chosen for this match.
(Abnes): But she still sucks.
Kaguya and Seina exchange blows, and Kaguya hits a gutwrench suplex.
(Glynda): This is for the vacated UCPW World Tag Team Championship. Last year, Pretty Deadly (Oka Kazamatsuri & Ran Kuzuryu) won the JWW Tag Team Championship, in the first-ever Golden Gauntlet. By the way, BIG congratulations to Usagi Tsukino & Chibiusa for ending the 10-month reign of Pretty Deadly, last Saturday.
(Abnes): Last year was a hectic run, this year… it's different. It's for UCPW's tag titles.
Kaguya and Yuzuru double teams Seina, and Yuzuru is tagged in. She charged at her, and slammed her down to the corner. Kyoko tags herself in, and she is furious. Kyoko and Yuzuru stared down. Kyoko ran towards Yuzuru, but Kyoko hits a takedown. She tags in Sayaka, and they grab a leg. They pulled back and hit a wishbone. Yuzuku cries in pain, as Sayaka makes the pinfall. But Yuzuru kicks out at 1.
Yuki yelled, "That's it! Power out of this!"
Yuzuru was being punched down by Sayaka. She lifts her up, and tags in Suzuka. Suzuka hits a dropkick to Yuzuru, and Sayaka retreats to her corner. Suzuka chucks Yuzuru into the ropes, and hits a spinning kick to the face. Suzuka leapt off the ropes, and hits a Springboard Senton. She pins Yuzuru, but she kicks out at 2.
"Remember what's at stake here!" Sheea called, "Bring the gold home!"
(Glynda): Again, the first four teams are still in the ring, no eliminations yet. The New Day, Suzuka & Mez, The Judgment Day, and The Yamai Sisters. Who'll be the first eliminated?
Suzuka and Mez did a double team, as Suzuka hits a neckbreaker, and Mez hits a flying elbow. Suzuka fights off Kaguya, as Mez makes the pinfall. But Yuzuru kicks out at 2.
Seina and Mayura want in on the match, but Kyoko and Sayaka threw them off the apron. They returned to their corners.
(Sajuna): Technically, the rest of The Judgment Day are banned from ringside. But the No DQ rule favors them.
Mez tries for a tornado DDT, but Kaguya shoves her off. She and Yuzuru plowed through Legado. Suzuka was slammed hard, while Yuzuru tosses Mez outside the ring. Yuzuru tags Kaguya in, and Yuzuru climbs up the top rope. Kaguya lifts her in a electric chair position. Yuzuru cannonballs onto Suzuka.
(Glynda): Yuzuru Ball!
Kaguya pins Suzuka.
"1! 2! 3!"
And Suzuka & Mez were the first to be eliminated.
(Samantha Irvin): Legado del Cuervo has been eliminated!
(Glynda): And the first elimination, Sheea is beside herself! The first team to be eliminated in this match!
(Sajuna): And Kyoko & Sayaka are relieved.
(Abnes): Don't celebrate yet. 1 down, 11 to go.
Kyoko and Sayaka chuckles, as they cheered on. The next team was about to enter. The Rascals theme plays.
(Samantha Irvin): Next participants… the team of Julia Jinyu and Tsubame Shiranui!
(Glynda): From JWW Tokyo, and from TNA Wrestling, Shibame and Jinyu! The next team to take off in this Golden Gauntlet!
(Sajuna): And on October 1st, Tsubame has a score to settle with Shiratsuru Kuki in a Chicago Street Fight.
(Glynda): Originally, Jinyu & Tsubame was to face Gold Third, last Tuesday, but they didn't make it. So, Kazuki Araya & Johnny Spicer took their place; though, we had NEW NXT Tag Team Champions, if not for The Bloodline.
Jinyu and Kaguya lock up, and Kaguya throws her over her shoulder. Jinyu landed on her feet, cheap-shotted Sayaka, and hit a leg scissors takedown on Kaguya. Jinyu tags in Tsubame, and they do high flying offense on Kaguya, with Tsubame hitting a Springboard 450 and Jinyu hitting a knee drop.
Tsubame tags in Seina, and they did a little running action on Kaguya but Yuzuru intercepts, only for Seina to hit the SOS on her. Both Yamais are down, and Tsubame and Seina run to the ropes, and Tsubame wags her fingers under her chin, while Seina hollers out, "NEW! DAY!"
(Sajuna): Rascals and New Day, a little entertainment!
They hit a Double Leg Drop, with Seina's leg drop, The Boom Drop, on the chests of The Yamais.
(Abnes): Tandem offense!
(Glynda): But it's every team for themselves! Double Leg Drop on BOTH Yamais!
Yuki got up to the apron, and Seina hits the Trouble in Paradise on Yuki. Tsubame returned to her corner, as Kaguya was getting up. She and Yuzuru grabbed Seina from behind, only to counter, flipping over the sisters. Mayura tags in, and Seina spears BOTH Yamai Sisters.
Mayura was up on the top rope, and ran to the middle of the rope, landing a Flying Elbow to the chests of Kaguya & Yuzuru.
(Sajuna): Limit Break Elbow!
Mayura pins Kaguya, as Seina pins Yuzuru.
"1! 2! 3!"
The New Day picks up the fall, and the elimination.
(Samantha Irvin): The Yamai Sisters have been eliminated!
(Glynda): New Day and Judgment Day still standing, and two eliminations, so far!
Seina and Mayura beckon Kyoko and Sayaka to get in the ring, as does Jinyu & Tsubame. But then, The Ice Queendom enters the match, only in Gallus's theme.
(Samantha Irvin): Representing The Ice Queendom, Frost and the JWW Osaka Champion, Esdeath!
(Sajuna): The Ice Queendom is the 6th entry, and last year, Ice Queendom wasn't what they used to be.
(Glynda): Esdeath and Frost, representing The Ice Queendom, for Weiss Schnee, the holder of Osaka's Money in the Bank.
Ice Queendom steps in, but they were taken down by a Quadruple Dropkick, knocking them out of the ring.
(Abnes): OHHHHH!
Frost and Esdeath were at the ringside area, and they were furious. The New Day and Jinyu & Tsubame riled up the crowd, who were cheering for them.
Seina and Jinyu stared down, and shook hands. They started to lock up, about to continue the match. Jinyu pushes Seina to the ropes, and irish whips her. She bounced off, and Jinyu leap frogs over her, and then ducks down, and again. Seina was running around, and Jinyu was avoiding Seina's speed and incoming attack. Seina hits a spinning corkscrew onto Jinyu. She gets up, and leapt off the ropes, only for Kyoko to shove her off. Seina crashes onto the ring, and Jinyu pins Seina. But Seina kicks out.
(Glynda): Ice Queendom yet to get in, after the combatants knocked them off.
Jinyu tags Esdeath in, and then heads off. Esdeath grabs Seina by the hair, and tossed her to the southwest corner turnbuckle. Esdeath chokes Seina with her boot, but Tsubame tags in on Seina. Esdeath hits a suplex, but Tsubame leaps off onto Esdeath with a flying splash. Tsubame pins Esdeath, but Frost makes the save. Frost lands a huge kick to Tsubame, and Frost lands a massive splash. Sayaka tags in, and Frost hits a hurricanrana to the center of the ring. Sayaka rolls up Frost, and Kyoko tackles down Esdeath.
"1! 2! 3!"
Sayaka grabbed Frost's tights, and the referee made the 3-count.
(Sajuna): NO WAY!
(Glynda): Judgment Day steals one!
(Samantha Irvin): Ice Queendom has been eliminated!
(Abnes): Weiss Schnee is definitely NOT HAPPY about this. Ice Queendom made their grand entrance, and quick exit, in the Golden Gauntlet, again!
Esdeath argued with the referee, as she and Frost were enraged. Kyoko and Sayaka waved, as they were laughing at The Ice Queendom.
(Glynda): And they're enjoying this. Judgment Day is enjoying one bit of this, and Ice Queendom is the third team to go. Three eliminated, only nine teams remain.
(Sajuna): Weiss Schnee is going to blow a vein, when she learns that The Ice Queendom failed again at the Golden Gauntlet.
"We are… We are… We are… D! I! Y!" Ruby Rose & Jessica Cruz head to the ring.
(Samantha Irvin): Next participants, representing DIY… Ruby Rose and Jessica Cruz!
(Sajuna): DIY enters the ring, after last week's loss at Hell in a Cell. Ruby Rose, a former JWW and UCPW Tag Team Champion.
(Glynda): A chance for DIY to win the World Tag Team Titles, and hopefully Cruz's first championship.
Jessica Cruz goes after Kyoko, and she begins punching away. Ruby Rose hits a DDT, after Cruz throws Kyoko to her. Sayaka leapt off, and hit a double lariat off the top rope. Sayaka rallied on, in a chorus of boos, until Seina hits the Trouble in Paradise. Seina pins Sayaka. But Kyoko pulls Seina off her.
(Abnes): Who's even legal anymore? Sayaka's legal, as everyone else is fighting.
New Day, Kyoko, and Julia & Tsubame fight ringside. Ruby got in the ring, and charged at the ropes, and flew over the ropes, crashing onto everyone.
(Sajuna): TOPE ATOMICO! Ruby Wrestling takes out everyone!
Jessica followed, as Kyoko got up. She dove off the ropes, and hit a Springboard Shooting Star, onto Kyoko.
(Glynda): AND GREEN LANTERN FLIES!
The fans went wild, as Jessica and Ruby threw Kyoko into the ring. Ruby hits a diving DDT, and Jessica has Sayaka cornered. Jessica hits a dropkick, and Sayaka is flown into the center of the ring. Ruby & Jessica were in opposite corners, as they prepared their finisher. Julia tags in, and Ruby hits a leg lariat, but Jessica trips down by Kyoko, who was outside the ring. Julia leapt off the ropes and hit a senton onto Ruby.
Julia prepares for the finish, but Sayaka clips Julia's knee.
(Glynda): Julia goes after Ruby, but Sayaka Miki's the legal woman!
Kyoko and Sayaka prepare their finisher. Kyoko hits the Impaler, and Sayaka lands a body splash. Kyoko pins Julia, and Sayaka dropkicks Tsubame out of the ring.
"1! 2! 3!"
(Glynda): And another elimination by The Judgment Day!
(Samantha Irvin): Julia Jinyu & Tsubame Shiranui have been eliminated!
(Sajuna): That knee clip may have cost Julia & Tsubame the match, and another elimination by The Judgment Day.
(PA): VIVA LA RAZA!
Chiyo's theme (Rey Mysterio's theme) plays, as she and Lie Ren rush to the ring.
(Samantha Irvin): Next participants, representing The L.W.O., Lie Ren and UCPW Hall of Famer, Chiyo Mihama!
Chiyo and Ren go after Kyoko and Sayaka, trading blows.
(Sajuna): And Judgment Day and LWO have a history together! These two are going after each other!
(Glynda): Four teams eliminated, eight teams to go, and The Latino World Order is the next entry for this match.
Chiyo-chan, former World Champion and Hall of Famer, after Sayaka and Kyoko!
Ruby intercepts, and hits a back suplex on Kyoko. Sayaka gets struck by Lie Ren's massive spinning kick. Sayaka is draped over the second ropes. Chiyo prepares the 619, but Jessica Cruz leapt off and hit a crossbody onto Chiyo-Chan.
(Abnes): OUCH! A lot of traffic in this match!
Ren argued with Jessica, and she apologized. The referee gave orders, as Ren and Sayaka were legal. Ren leapt off on the ropes and hit a diving knee smash to the back. Kyoko tags in, and Ren celebrates. But Kyoko hits the Impaler, and Lie Ren is out.
"1! 2! 3!"
(Glynda): And LWO is quickly exited out of this match.
(Samantha Irvin): The LWO has been eliminated!
Jessica and Ruby dropkicked onto Kyoko and Sayaka, and they fell to the ropes. Chiyo got up and she and Ren nodded. They ran to the ropes, and they hit a Double 619 to Kyoko & Sayaka.
(Abnes): We're far north from San Diego! Give these punks what they deserve!
(Sajuna): Ren and Chiyo! RUNNING IN!
(Glynda): DOUBLE 6-1-9!
(Abnes): GOOD ON YA! GET YOUR PAYBACK!
Chiyo and Ren high-fived, and then left the ring, as Jessica and Ruby nodded. But then…
Lights go out, as The Ghoul Twins appeared. They donned masks, and walked down the ramp.
(Samntha Irvin): Next participants, representing The Dark Oath… Kurona and the NXT Heritage Cup Champion, Nashiro Yasuhisa… The Ghoul Twins!
(Glynda): From JWW Osaka, led by NEW Universal Champion, Marin Kitagawa, The Dark Oath's Ghoul Twins.
Jessica halted them and said to wait. Kyoko was getting up, and Jessica and Ruby hit a running knee-superkick combo.
(Abnes): I think Dark Oath has to watch and wait!
(Sajuna): AND MEET IN THE MIDDLE! ROSE AND CRUZ!
Ruby pins Kyoko, "1! 2!" but Sayaka made the save. Kurona and Nashiro went to their corner. Ruby moaned, as she went to The New Day's corner. Mayura tags herself in, and Kyoko hits the Impaler to Ruby. Mayura ran onto the ropes and flew off with the diving elbow.
(Glynda): OH! MAYURA'S GONNA FLY!
(Sajuna): Limit Break Elbow!
Sayaka dropkicked Mayura's face, and she pulls Kyoko out of the ring. Nashiro tags in, and The Judgment Day retreats to take a breather. Nashiro lifts Mayura up and lands a German Suplex pin. Seina broke up the pinfall.
(Glynda): So far, nine teams have entered, and The New Day and The Judgment Day are still in this. Kyoko and Sayaka have eliminated three teams in this match.
(Abnes): All by hook or crook. Every team, they need to pay attention, they have to eliminate The Judgment Day from this match!
(Sajuna): New Day, Kyoko & Sayaka, still in this match from the beginning.
(Glynda): Currently, New Day, Judgment Day, DIY, and Ghoul Twins still in this match. We have The Golden Empire, Kazuki & Johnny, and The Bloodline left. Winners of this match become the brand-new World Tag Team Champions.
(Sajuna): And don't forget what's on the line for The New Day, if they win. They win this match, they'll face The Judgment Day's Tenma Tsukamoto & Pyrrha Nikos, the former champs, this Monday Night.
(Glynda): But if they lose, they get another chance at the World Tag Team Titles, whoever wins this. And Seina & Mayura don't want to lose this match!
Mayura was on the floor, as Kurona stretched her back, while Seina was being punished by Nashiro. Nashiro hits a RegalPlex, but Seina powers out at 2. Nashiro brushes herself off, and whips Seina to the ropes, and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Kurona is tagged in, and the twins hit a Double Brainbuster. Kurona with the pinfall, but Mayura breaks the count.
Kyoko and Sayaka were near the south barricade, waiting in their sights.
(Abnes): And the cowards scatter, waiting for their strike!
(Glynda): They've been in this match since the start of the match, and they tried to avoid getting eliminated. They eliminated three straight tag teams – The LWO, The Ice Queendom, and Julia & Tsubame.
(Sajuna): What you call cowardice, I call strategy! Judgment Day lost the titles, thanks to Winter Schnee, and they want them back. They'll do anything to bring the gold back to The Judgment Day.
(Glynda): But if that happens, Kyoko and Sayaka will have run the entire gauntlet, somehow surviving all eleven teams in their path. And they'll win, on behalf of JWW, and The Judgment Day, led by Mami Tomoe.
(Sajuna): You forget… Mami leads no one. The Glorious Power of The Judgment Day has ONE edict – NO leaders!
Kurona and Nashiro were beating down Seina, and Kurona tags out to Nashiro. Nashiro lands a money flip to Seina. Kurona is tagged in, and leapt off the top rope, landing a huge body splash. Kurona pins Seina, but Ruby hits a dropkick. Seina gets up, and she and Ruby beat down Nashiro. Kurona kicks them down. Kurona climbed up the top rope, but Jessica trips her onto the corner, landing hard on her seat. Ruby and Jessica sets up a Double Superplex. Nashiro climbed up and grabbed Ruby in a German Suplex, and Mayura grabbed Jessica from behind, with a German Suplex. Kyoko and Sayaka jumped in, and grabbed Mayura, Jessica, Ruby, & Nashiro's legs, and were in a powerbomb position.
(Sajuna): OH NO! NOT AGAIN!
(Abnes): THIS IS SEVEN WOMEN IN THE SAME CORNER!
(Sajuna): Kyoko and Sayaka, with the strength!
They all did their move at the same time, and Kyoko and Sayaka slammed them all down hard, with a massive Tower of Doom! They all crashed, as The Judgment Day laughs, as they went to the ropes. The fans chanted "Holy s*t! Holy s*t!"
Kyoko and Sayaka retreat, as the ref said that Kurona and Seina were still legal. Seina got up and hits a Trouble in Paradise, but Kurona ducks. Kurona grabs Seina in a Suplex Hold, and Kyoko tags herself in. Nashiro hits the German Suplex, and Kyoko throws Kurona out of the ring. Kyoko grabs Seina, going for the Impaler, but Seina rolls in a Small Package.
"1! 2!"
But Sayaka pushes Seina over.
"1! 2! 3!"
(Glynda): AND NEW DAY IS GONE!
(Samantha Irvin): The New Day has been eliminated!
(Glynda): The sneakiest of sneaks, Seina with a small package, and Sayaka flips it to their favor!
(Sajuna): This makes four teams that The Judgment Day has eliminated. And UCPW Red have lost their teams to bring the titles back to RAW.

(Sajuna): We take another look, Sayaka Miki pays dividends, and rolls the small package onto Seina's shoulders. Referee makes the count, and The New Day is gone from The Golden Gauntlet.
(Abnes): It sucks, I know. But Sayaka Miki played hero on this one.
(Glynda): We've reached the halfway point. Six teams remain in our main event.
Courtney Lowee and Friya head to the ring, accompanied by Croire.
(Samantha Irvin): Accompanied by Croire… Courtney Lowee and Friya, The Golden Empire!
(Glynda): And the field dwindles down, as six teams are eliminated. From JWW Osaka, Courtney Lowee and Friya, the dominant Golden Empire.
Friya enters the ring, as Sayaka tags out to Ruby. Ruby and Friya stare down.
(Sajuna): Courtney Lowee, no stranger to The Golden Gauntlet, and looks to bring more gold.
The fans chanted "Go away, C-Sha!" and they clapped along. Friya snarled, as the chants and boos continued.
(Sajuna): Past months, Courtney Lowee wants forgiveness from the JWW Galaxy… but after what she did to Andre Chase, and later Duke Hudson, they're never forgiving her again.
(Abnes): A tiger never changes her spots.
(Glynda): Ever since Celestia Arena, Courtney Lowee was a changed woman, until she joined Chase U on NXT, and her life and happiness expanded… that is, until NXT No Mercy.
Friya lambasts Ruby, beating her down in the corner. Friya hits a headbutt, and throws her to the center. Friya tags in Courtney, and the fans booed at her, very loudly. Courtney slams a right to Ruby's head, but Jessica comes to the rescue. Jessica was being held back by the official. Kyoko raked Ruby's face, and Courtney hit a knee to the face. Nashiro taunts at Courtney, as she ignored her.
(Sajuna): And the massive power of one of the most uncaring and hated women in JWW.
She grabbed Ruby and hit a double underhook suplex. Courtney smirked, and the fans booed. She yelled out, "NONE OF YOU DESERVE THIS!" She grabs Ruby's head, and slams her to the corner. She tags in Friya and they do a combination spinebuster-elbow drop. She makes the cover, but Kurona and Nashiro stop the pinfall.
(Abnes): You realized that if they get the pinfall, we have an elimination.
(Sajuna): They all want the same thing.
Friya lands a barrage of chops and punches, and hits a Samoan Drop. Ruby crawls to a lone corner, and Friya hits a running hip attack to the skull. Jessica is trying to reach for the tag, but Sayaka pulls her down. Friya smirked, and she held up her hand, attempting a chokeslam. Courtney tags in, and she taunts at Ruby.
(Sajuna): And The Judgment Day are simply trying to make more trouble. They got the easiest job.

(Glynda): We're live from Seattle, Washington, the Climate Pledge Arena, the home of the Kraken, and this is Fight Club: Summer's End. This is our main event – the second-ever Golden Gauntlet for the vacated World Tag Team Championship.
Six teams have been eliminated, and six teams remain. Currently, Kyoko Sakura and Sayaka Miki of The Judgment Day have been in this match from the beginning, and they've eliminated four teams in this match. Also in the match, The Golden Empire, DIY, and The Ghoul Twins. All four of six teams, representing JWW. Two eliminated, The Ice Queendom and Julia Jinyu & Tsubame Shiranui.
(Sajuna): And The Judgment Day is two teams away from reclaiming the titles they never lost.
Friya is in, attacking Ruby, who's being manhandled. She was tossed to the Dark Oath's corner. Kurona tagged herself in, and Friya landed a hip attack, but was intercepted by a superkick.
She tags in Nashiro, and they made a Double Superkick. Courtney eats a Double Superkick. Kurona prepares her finisher, but Kyoko tags in, and dives over Kurona, and hits a DDT to Friya. Kyoko makes the cover, but Kurona pulls her off. The Dark Oath and The Golden Empire had enough of The Judgment Day. Kurona and Nashiro go after Kyoko and Sayaka, and then Nowa Sugaya appears from out of nowhere, and tackled onto Courtney Lowee, locking in a headlock. Ruby leaps through the ropes, and hits the One Final Beat DDT. Jessica is tagged in, and Friya was caught in a Tornado DDT. Ruby & Jessica prepare their finisher, but Courtney intercepts Ruby, landing a massive shoulder block. Jessica was caught in a belly-to-belly by Friya, and slammed her down. Friya attempts to use the Samoan Spike on Jessica, but Nowa grabbed her arm, and tries to pull Friya down.
(Sajuna): Look at Nowa! Trying to save The Ghoul Twins!
(Glynda): Remember, anything goes! It's No Disqualifications!
She let go of Jessica, and Nowa was hit with a Samoan Spike. Kurona and Nashiro came in, and landed a Double Superkick to Friya, knocking her out of the ring. Courtney Lowee rushes in, but The Ghoul Twins ducked her attack.
The Ghoul Twins hit the 1-D!
(Sajuna): 1D! ONE AND DONE!
(Abnes): The Ghouls got the win!
Kurona pins Courtney!
"1! 2! 3!"
And The Ghouls celebrate. Croire is disappointed, seeing her team eliminated.
(Samantha Irvin): The Golden Empire has been eliminated!
(Abnes): SO LONG, C-SHA! GO BACK TO NXT, WHERE YOU BELONG!
(Sajuna): Amidst the chaos, The Golden Empire's chances sank, after The Ghoul Twins chased The Judgment Day out of the ring and into the crowd.
Another look, the 1D to Courtney Lowee, and the JWW Galaxy on their feet.
(Glynda): And now, five teams remain!
Street Profits theme plays, as Kazuki & Johnny head to the ring.
(Samantha Irvin): And the next participants… Kazuki Araya and Johnny Spicer!
Kazuki and Johnny go after The Ghoul Twins.
(Sajuna): And the bros are in! Deprived of their victory on Tuesday, they look to capture the World Tag Team Titles!
(Glynda): Five teams remaining, and if one of these teams are gone… then start praying, because the final team in this match is The Bloodline.
Kazuki starts punching away, and Johnny slams Kurona with a Sky High Powerbomb. Ruby & Jessica cheer on, as they want Kazuki & Johnny to eliminate The Ghouls.
Johnny is tagged in, and slams a clothesline onto Nashiro. Kurona is lifted up, as Johnny tags in Kazuki.
(Sajuna): This is how they almost won the NXT Tag Team Titles!
(Glynda): And the Blockbuster connects!
The boys hit a Doomsday Blockbuster, and Kazuki pins Kurona.
"1! 2! 3!"
The fans cheer, as Ruby & Jessica enter the ring.
(Samantha Irvin): The Ghoul Twins have been eliminated!
(Glynda): We are down to the Final Four teams! And they know who the final team is. The Judgment Day has fled, but they may return… They're still in this. Kazuki, Johnny, Ruby, & Jessica, they know what they're after.
The Bloodline's theme plays, as Yue & Yuna walk to the stage, with Nodoka and Haruna behind them. They raised their fingers high, and the fans booed.
(Samantha Irvin): And the final team, representing The Bloodline… Yue Ayase and Yuna Akashi!
Nodoka hugs Yue, and then Yuna, as she whispered, "Make us proud. By orders of the Tribal Chief."
Nodoka and Haruna left, as Yue & Yuna head to the ring.
(Sajuna): Winter Schnee said that The Bloodline is banned from ringside, as well. Punishment for earlier tonight!
(Glynda): The final team in The Golden Gauntlet, as we are down to four. Two from UCPW and two from JWW. Who will walk out the brand new World Tag Team Champions? DIY, Judgment Day, The Bloodline, or The Dudes?
Yue & Yuna brawl with The Boys and Ruby & Jessica. They brawl all over the ring, as Yue shoves Jessica and Johnny down. Kazuki threw Yuna over, and Ruby hits a shoulder tackle to Yue. Yuna slammed down onto Kazuki.
(Glynda): Kazuki & Johnny haven't forgotten what The Bloodline did, costing them the NXT Tag Team Championship from Gold Third.
Yue punches away on Kazuki, and she lands a Samoan Drop onto him. She hits a massive knee to his head, and she tags in Yuna. Yuna taunts him to get up, and she hits a shining wizard on him. She makes the cover, but Kazuki kicks out at 2.
Yue & Yuna get in, and hit a huge Double Suplex. Johnny interferes, but Ruby attacks Yuna. The referee warn both Johnny and Ruby, as Yue started to grab him in a headlock. Yue throws him down and runs to him with a Double Knee. Kazuki is outside the ring, and Yue tags in Yuna. Yue flies off, and lands a Suicide Dive onto Kazuki & Johnny. Yuna dives over the ropes, and attacks Ruby & Jessica.
(Glynda): And all three teams are down at ringside. No DQ, no count outs, last team standing wins the World Tag Team Championship!
(Sajuna): And The Bloodline is in complete control! The freshest team in this match! And quite possibly the most dominant!
Kyoko and Sayaka return, as they went after Ruby & Jessica. Sayaka slams her head onto the barricade, as Ruby was tossed into the steel steps. Meanwhile, Yue and Yuna throws Kazuki into the ring. They prepared their finisher, The Magic Killer, and they finish off Kazuki.
Johnny runs in, but Yue hits a Spear to Johnny. Yuna lifts Kazuki up and hits a sitout facebuster.
(Sajuna): And that's the Tongan Death Grip, shades of Haku, father of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
Yuna pins Kazuki.
"1! 2! 3!"
And Yuna pushes Kazuki off.
(Samantha Irvin): Kazuki Araya & Johnny Spicer have been eliminated!
Kyoko runs in, and attempts to hit an Impaler, but Yuna shoves her off. Kyoko was stunned, as Yuna was cackling.
(Glynda): Three teams remain! Ruby Rose & Jessica Cruz are screwed. They have to fight BOTH The Bloodline and The Judgment Day! And these two are the most dominant factions in this era.
(Abnes): And Ruby Rose and Jessica Cruz are running low on steam.
(Sajuna): But The Judgment Day has lasted all through the match. And they have to defeat DIY and the Bloodline! Fatigue is where it costs them.
(Abnes): Good luck! Red and Green are screwed.
Kyoko runs for it, as she tries to tag in Ruby & Jessica, but they jump out of the apron. Kyoko was shocked, as she realized what happened.
(Abnes): Now you're screwed, Sakura!
(Glynda): DIY knows what's coming. Kyoko's in trouble!
Yuna grabbed her by the ponytail, and Kyoko screamed. Yuna was tossed around, and she hits a dropkick to the waist. Sayaka tried to intervene, but Yuna slammed her down. Yuna grabbed her by the arms. She slammed Sayaka hard with the Double Arm Suplex. Yuna tags in Yue, and Yue strikes with a huge Overhead Slam. Yue pins her, but she kicks out at 2.
Yue then tosses her to the ropes, and slams Sayaka onto the mat with a Falcon Arrow. She calls to Yuna, tagging her in. Yuna prepares a flying splash, but then…
A beaten Shizue Izawa appeared, and tackled down on Yue Ayase. She was armed with a 2x4.
(Abnes): LOOK WHO IT IS! SHIZUE IZAWA!
(Sajuna): She was assaulted backstage by The Bloodline, and she's had enough!
(Glynda): Shizue is angry at what happened! Turnabout is fair play! Shizue is giving Yue & Yuna payback, for earlier tonight!
(Sajuna): How the hell is she standing? She's baiting the rest of The Inner Kingdom!
Shizue hollered, as she swatted down on Yue & Yuna, "COME ON, POTTER! NEO! GET YOUR ASSES OUT HERE!"
Kyoko tags in Sayaka, as Shizue left the ring. Yue chases after her, but she fled. Yue roared in anger, realizing that The Bloodline can't help her.
(Abnes): Winter Schnee made it clear! No one said Shizue Izawa was BANNED from ringside!
Kyoko rolled up Yue, grabbed the tights, and the referee counted.
"1! 2! 3!"
And the fans go wild.
(Glynda): OH MY GOD!
(Samantha Irvin): The Bloodline has been eliminated!
(Glynda): WE ARE DOWN TO TWO TEAMS!
(Sajuna): And Yue & Yuna are shocked!
(Abnes): THE BLOODLINE'S ELIMINATED!
Yue and Yuna beat down on Kyoko and Sayaka, as they were furious. Ruby and Jessica chased them off, as The Bloodline went after Shizue, running out of the stage, and heading backstage.
(Sajuna): Furious! ANGRY! The Bloodline hath no fury!
(Glynda): But ladies, we are down to TWO Teams! TWO JWW Teams! Ruby Rose & Jessica Cruz and Kyoko Sakura & Sayaka Miki! And The Judgment Day has been through the entire match, from the opening bell! ONE FALL to a finish, for the World Tag Team Championship!
DIY & The Judgment Day stare down, as the fans chanted "JWW! JWW! JWW!"
(Sajuna): Whoever wins will be crowned the brand-new UCPW World Tag Team Champions, and if you're Kyoko & Sayaka, you bring those titles back to The Judgment Day!
(Glynda): Again, this is for the vacated World Tag Team Titles! The Judgment Day are one fall away from surviving the Golden Gauntlet! Rose and Cruz in a must-win situation!
(Sajuna): UCPW's finest tag teams entered, and have all failed. This year's Golden Gauntlet belongs to JWW! But who will strike first?
They brawled, as the fans cheered on.
(Glynda): WHO'LL WIN FIRST? TOKYO OR OSAKA?
(Sajuna): Fists are flying, and DIY is in control!
Ruby throws Sayaka out, and Kyoko lands a massive kick to the chest. Ruby does a Tilt-a-Whirl Drop, and then prepares an armbar. Kyoko counters with a kick to the face, and grabbing her hair. Ruby slams her down, facefirst, and locks in the Ruby Escape, the crossface submission.
(Sajuna): And Ruby Wrestling locks it in!
(Abnes): Ruby Escape locked in!
Sayaka pulled her back, and Jessica Cruz lands a swift right. Kyoko attacks Jessica from behind, and Ruby breaks out from the hold. Sayaka and Ruby got back onto the apron. Kyoko tackled Jessica, and hit a Reverse DDT. Kyoko tags Sayaka in, as they set up the finisher, but Jessica shoves Kyoko to the corner. Sayaka falls onto the corner, and groans in pain. Ruby leapt through the ropes and hit One Final Beat, while Jessica leapt up and hit a dropkick, sending Sayaka flying out of the ring.
(Abnes): Can they do it?
(Sajuna): Kyoko is in trouble!
Jessica tags in Ruby. They ran to the corners. Ruby and Jessica prepare their finisher, and they charge at Kyoko, hitting a Superkick-Running Knee combo!
(Sajuna): MEET IN THE MIDDLE!
Ruby locks in the Ruby Escape on Kyoko, and Sayaka rushes in. Jessica hits a Crossface of her own, and The Judgment Day was in trouble.
(Abnes): DOUBLE RUBY ESCAPE! GREEN LANTERN CRUZ, LEARNED FROM RUBY ROSE!
(Glynda): Is this it? Will they tap?
(Sajuna): At this point, they have to!
Kyoko reaches the ropes, but Ruby pulls Kyoko away. Jessica let go and locked in the Crossface again on Sayaka, and Ruby locks in her finisher again, in the center of the ring.
(Sajuna): Ruby & Jessica, they don't want this to end!
Kyoko and Sayaka grabbed each other's hands, and they nodded. They powered out of the holds, and went after Ruby Rose.
(Abnes): HOW THE HELL DID THEY BROKE OUT?
Kyoko locks in the Impaler DDT, and Sayaka grabs Jessica, about to hit a Double Impaler. They hit the Impalers, and Kyoko pins Ruby.
"1! 2!"
But Ruby kicks out, close to the end. Kyoko was furious, but Ruby locked in the hold again, while Jessica Cruz was down and out. Sayaka lands a flying splash, but Ruby moved out of the way.
(Sajuna): OH NO! SAYAKA HITS KYOKO!
Ruby throws Sayaka out of the ring, and head to the apron. Jessica tackles Sayaka down. Kyoko got up, and Ruby hits the One Final Beat.
(Glynda): ONE FINAL BEAT!
(Abnes): PIN THAT BITCH!
Ruby pins Kyoko, as the referee made the count.
(Referee): 1!
(Glynda): ROSE! CRUZ!
(Referee): 2!
(Glynda): Enter The Golden Gauntlet!
(Referee): 3!
(Glynda): AND WON THE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES!
DING! DING! DING!
The fans go wild, as Ruby and Jessica were celebrating.
(Samantha Irvin): The winners of The Golden Gauntlet, AND THE NEWWWWWW… World Tag Team Champions… Ruby Rose and Jessica Cruz! DIY!
(Sajuna): Seattle is going bananas! Like how they wished the Mariners won the World Series, or how the Seahawks won the Super Bowl! THIS IS BIG!
Ruby and Jessica hug, as the referee gave the titles to them.
(Abnes): CAN YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES? DO YOU BELIEVE? RUBY ROSE! JESSICA CRUZ! THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
(Glynda): For the first time in their career, Ruby Rose and Jessica Cruz are champions together! Ruby Rose, once again, on top of the Tag Team Division, while Jessica Cruz, her first taste as champion!
They raised their titles high, and the fans cheered "DIY! DIY! DIY!"
(Sajuna): Kyoko and Sayaka, eliminated nearly half the participants, and they lasted throughout the entire match… only to come up short! But a round of applause to these two; sure, they are Judgment Day, but they survived all throughout the match, something that has never been done, outlasting over 10 teams.
Kyoko and Sayaka were by the barricade, in complete sadness. Sayaka cried, "Noooo…"
(Glynda): And the celebration is on! DIY are World Tag Team Champions!
Ruby and Jessica hug, as Velvet Scarlatina rushed into the ring, and hugged her partners and friends.
(Abnes): And look at this! Velvet, one-third of DIY, celebrating with her friends!
Ruby laughs, and Jessica smirks, knowing her job was done. They raised their arms high, and Ruby & Jessica raised their titles.
(Sajuna): Take another look, The Judgment Day dominated, eliminating a total of five tag teams! Eliminating Ice Queendom, The LWO, The Rascals, The New Day, and yes, even The Bloodline, albeit thanks to the assistance of Shizue Izawa! And there, the final moments, Cruz with the spear to Sayaka, and Kyoko suffers a third One Final Beat by Ruby Wrestling, and the JWW Galaxy in the Climate Pledge Arena just exploded! DIY is ONCE AGAIN Champions! This time, Red like Roses Huntress and The Green Lantern, winners of The 2024 Golden Gauntlet!
Ruby and Jessica hug, as Ruby was crying in joy. They raised their titles high, as pyro went off. Velvet hugs them both, and the fans cheered "You Deserve it! You Deserve it!"
All Kyoko and Sayaka could do was watch, in complete disbelief.
(Glynda): But for Ruby Rose and Jessica Cruz, there's no time to celebrate! Because of their win, it's official! Seina Katsura and Mayura Ichikawa will get another chance at the World Tag Team Championship, against New Champs, Rose & Cruz!
DIY left the ring, and they headed to the ramp, celebrating with their fans.
(Sajuna): Monday Night on RAW, special 2-hours moving forward, until the end of 2024, Ruby Wrestling and Green Lantern Jessica Cruz are going to Portland, Oregon, and defend their newly won titles, for the first time, against the 13-time tag team champions! DIY versus The New Day, 48 hours from now!
(Abnes): Brings to mind, the final say for these two.

Ruby & Jessica raised their titles again, on the stage, and Velvet applauded for them.

As soon as Fight Club went off the air, Niina Yamada posted a message to Ruby Rose on X:
"When you two losers are done with The New Day on Monday, bring those titles over to Tokyo, and we'll beat you again. Uta and I would love to take them, since you don't deserve them."
Jessica Cruz responded in a reply:
"We owe you another butt-whipping. So, WHEN we beat Seina & Mayura… Challenge accepted!"
We'll wait and see if this will be official… or if Ruby & Jessica retain on Monday. The feud between Rose & Cruz versus Komegawa and Yamada continues.
