"You want me to do what?!"
"Dean will you relax-" Seth Rollins started but was cut off.
"There's no way in seven hells I'm leaving my sister with Maddox. That moron can barely watch himself. No way, not happening" Dean Ambrose shook his head.
"Jimmy and Jey are both out sick this week, I'm sorry for that but we don't have time for this Dean," Roman said.
"Why him of all people?" Dean asked, with hesitation in his voice.
"It won't be forever, just one match" Seth answered. "Besides, how hard can watching a nine-year-old be? What's the worst Brad could do? What's the worst that could happen?"
Dean raised an eye at his friend. "You don't want me to answer that"
Dean knew their match was soon and they didn't have time to find someone suitable to watch Sarah. The dirty blonde looked back at his sister who was finishing a movie on her iPad then back to his friends.
"The two of you better not make me regret this," Dean told his friends. "And I'm laying down the law with him"
"Your sister, your rules" The other two men nodded.
They had taken her to the Authority's office, god they hated working for The Authority but had no choice when Hunter used Sarah as a pawn to make corporate. Mainly Dean. Thankfully Hunter and Stephanie weren't there yet, Kane was off doing his own business, and the crybaby champion, Randy was finishing a match. Dean had briefly kept his sister behind him for a moment.
"Brad" Dean started, his voice a bit hard. This was going to be hard. It's probably one of the hardest things Dean has ever done and even said. "I need you to watch my sister while we're in the ring"
"You what?!" The young GM was shocked at hearing this request. "You want me to do what?!"
"Believe me I don't like or want it more than you do. It'll only be until the match is over"
"Dean, I'm a general manager, not a babysitter"
Sarah scrunched her face which matched her brother's scrunched face. "How are you a general manager when you can barely manage yourself? You can barely get in the ring without tripping over your own feet. You can't even win a match"
The Shield men couldn't help but chuckle Dean ruffled her hair. Brad's face went to a slight scowl at the young girl but forced a smile. It was no secret she could act like her brother.
"She's adorable Dean," The young GM told him with a forced smile. "Fine, just for your match"
Dean nodded then stepped dangerously closer to him grabbing his tie. "Now let me be very clear. Sarah is to stay within your sight at all times, if anything happens to my sister I can promise that something will happen to you. Do I make myself clear?" His voice held a protective tone.
Everyone who knew Dean knows that when it came to his sister and her well-being, all bets were off. For his sister, he could go from zero to sixty in a matter of seconds. When Brad hadn't answered Dean had slightly lifted him, his feet dangling from the ground.
"I said, do I make myself clear?"
"C-crystal clear Dean. Sarah will be perfectly fine with me" Brad stammered.
The dirty blonde then put him down with a smile forming on his face. "Good man Brad. A few rules when watching her, no horror movies because if she doesn't sleep neither will you, no sugar either it's too late for it I don't want her wound up this close to her bedtime, and most importantly, keep her away from the ring because if she gets hurt you will get hurt, and whatever you do, don't let her get hurt because if she gets hurt you'll get hurt. Watch her as if you're life depends on it because your life very much depends on it. Because your life just may depend on it"
Brad swallowed hard. "Understood. Sarah will be fine with me"
"She better be otherwise it's your head"
Dean then dropped him and turned his attention to his sister. His expression softened a bit. Brad didn't realize how fast his mood could change when it came to Sarah.
"Alright sweetheart, you know the rules while I'm in the ring" Dean's voice was gentle but firm. "Brad's in charge and you do what he says"
"Yes Dean," Sarah nodded. "Can I ride my skateboard for a little bit?"
"I still don't see how you talked me into buying that death trap on wheels" Dean muttered. "As long as you don't ride it too fast and you wear your gear"
She smiled, nodding her ponytail bobbing behind her shoulders. "Deal"
"And stay away from the ring. I don't need you getting hurt"
She nodded. "I promise"
"That's my girl," Dean hugged her, kissing her cheek.
Sarah hugged her brother back and kissed his cheek. Seth and Roman ruffled her hair in response before they left. Brad was now left with the young Ambrose girl. He had no idea what he was getting into. All he knew was if anything happened to her, Dean would kill him. He looked at her with an anxious look wondering what he had gotten himself into.
