Author's Note:

I want to thank everyone for having a positive response to this story, some of your comments have made my day, and others have made me giggle and kick my feet in amusement.

Many assumptions are very amusing, so thank you. Here is the first part of the original chapter that I wrote, I had to cut it in half because it was getting a bit long. But here are a few answers I will allow you to know beforehand. Jasper is Rosalie's brother, and Alice is Edward's cousin. You'll find out more in future chapters. Note Alice's mother is Edward's biological mother's sister, and Edward and Alice don't have a close relationship, yet. Rose grew up in Forks too, so there you are.

Bella's POV:

I woke up the next morning, after shifting position on an unfamiliar bed. I immediately sat up, holding the warm thick blanket to my chest as I stared around.

"Relax, Bunny, you're safe." Edward says, calmly as he sits in the corner of the room, staring at the screen of his laptop with a frown.

I relax a fraction, before tensing again, "Where- Where are we?" I asked, as I slid out of bed, and made my way towards him.

"Hoquiam. We're at a cabin that belongs to my family. It's far enough from Seattle that your family won't find you, and has enough privacy if you need it." He informs me, as he turns to look up at me, licking his lips.

I take a calming breath, and nod in response, "Why are we here?" I asked him.

He types in something into the laptop before turning to look at me, "Because Seth called me as we were getting to your house, apparently all hell broke loose after you left Friday, and the aftermath was heading your way, so I took the initiative and brought you here so you don't have to deal with their shit until you decide to do so." He informs me.

I frown, as I look around for my phone, "They won't be able to reach me, even if they try to. I blocked everyone except Seth on my phone, and I've now got a list of who is allowed to go into the building of my company… It'll be fine. Wait a second, why didn't he just call me directly?" I asked.

He smirks, "He did, but you sort of had a little too much wine last night, and passed out after we got out of the restaurant." He says.

I sigh, as I move my hair out of my face. "Wait, a minute, no I didn't, I recall you carrying me into the SUV…" I trailed off.

He nods, "I did, because you kept tripping on air." He stated, giving me a look, before looking away quickly.

I raised a brow at him, "Not my fault, it was a rather long, and tense night, besides, you're one to talk, you had like six of those drinks." I retorted.

"Yes, but unlike you, I actually know my limit, and I can keep my liquor down." He snips.

I scoff, "Okay, first of all, wine is different, it sneaks up on you. Second of all, what else was I supposed to do? Between what happened Friday with my parents, and then everything you told me, let's just say I handled myself well enough. Besides, you're one to talk, don't you have as much family drama as I do?" I asked, leaning forward.

He throws me a shrill look, but nods all the same, "Yes, unfortunately for me, my familial drama is a bit more serious than them trying to pawn me off to the first woman they think suits me as a life partner." He snips.

I flinch, and move away, turning to look around for my clothes. "Yes, well, we can't all be born with a y-chromosome, a cock, and a gold platter with everything handed to them." I snap with my back turned away from him.

He snorts, "If that were true, all the men in the world would be successful, unfortunately for them and me, many of us are born into lives that aren't exactly helpful. Many, much like you, had to work to make something of ourselves, to survive." He tells me, calmly.

I hum, "Right, but while I had to do things on my own and put blood, sweat, tears, and effort into building what I have, you had someone supporting you, whether it was financially, emotionally, or even morally. You had someone. I didn't, so do not compare yourself to me, we are not the same." I told him.

I hear as he stands up, "You're right. We are not the same. You have your freedom. Freedom to make your own decisions. To do as you wish when you wish. You could disappear off the face of the earth, and live the rest of your life however you want, I don't have such liberties. I was born into this life." He responds, tightly.

I nod, "So, that's it huh? You were born into that life, and now you're gonna swallow it whole? Lose yourself because of it? Why would you allow something so miniscule to define your entire life?" I asked him.

He reaches up to run a hand over his face, "What exactly do you expect me to do? My parents and everyone else will turn their backs on me." He says.

I nod, "Being alone isn't such a bad thing, Edward. I've been on my own since I was eighteen. I lost my mother a few weeks short of that, and my father kicked me out to bring in his new wife and kids. But I made it. Even if it took time, I did it." I told him quietly.

He nods, "Well you're a lot stronger than me…" He mumbles, as he moves to the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked him.

"To check if breakfast is ready." He states flatly, before working out.

As soon as he left, I moved around the room, to check if my dress was anywhere in sight, unfortunately, for me, all I found was another one of his shirts and a pair of black silk shorts.

I pulled off the silk dress, before bending down to pick up the shirt.

"Bunny, the - oh fuck! I'm so sorry, Bunny." He apologized, before turning around.

"Get out!" I cried as I slipped on the shirt, flushing hard.

'I'm sorry! I didn't mean-" He stuttered.

I scoffed and moved around him to leave the room, only for him to pull me to a stop, "What?" I asked, exasperated.

"Did I see another tattoo on your body that wasn't put there by my hand?" He asked, in disbelief.

I smiled up at him, angelically, "Oh, you saw that, did you?" I asked, pleasantly.

He gave me a sharp nod in response, crossing his arms over his chest as he did.

"I got that when I turned twenty-one, it's for my two grandfathers." I said, as my hand subconsciously went to touch the spot under my left boob, where I knew the two daisies were located under the quote 'I am because you were'.

He hums, "Who did it?" He asked, a bit too calmly.

I smirked, "An ex-boyfriend. You might know him, Embry Call. Yeah, we only went out a handful of times." I told him, amused.

The angry gleam in his eyes told me he was not happy about this.

I smirk, "Why? Are you mad that I have other tattoos? Your body is covered in them." I point out.

He shakes his head, "Don't worry about it. Let's go eat." He says.

I sigh before following him out of the room and down the wide hall, past a massive living room, a large dining room, and past a set of double doors, before finally making our way into the massive kitchen.

The cabin itself was massive. Floors made of marble tiles, wood fixtures, and white mahogany and paint mixed in perfectly.

The kitchen had an open layout, along with the living room, dividing the other sitting room, and a set of double doors.

I smiled as I followed Edward to the long massive breakfast table, and sat down in the chair he pulled out for me.

I sat there staring at the amazing room.

I could see the white maple cabinets, the marble countertops, and top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, a large kitchen island in the middle of it.

A few people were moving around cooking as we walked in. I can see from my seat as I continue to look around like a little kid in a candy store.

"You are smiling a lot." He notes as he sits down next to me.

"I am. This place is amazing. I especially love those massive floor-to-ceiling windows. It makes me want to come here and sit outside wrapped in a big fuzzy blanket and just enjoy the scenery. That sounds like heaven right now." I sighed, with a euphoric smile.

He smiles, "We can come up here whenever you need it. This place is practically abandoned. It's only ever used once or twice a year, when my parents demanded our presence." He tells me.

I raise a brow, "Really? Well, I will take that offer into account. This place is amazing." I tell him, smiling.

"Yeah, just call me. I'll bring you here myself." He says.

"Promise?" I asked.

He sighs, smiling widely, before he nods, "Yeah, of course. I'll show you the rest of it once we're done eating. I have a feeling you'll love the second floor if you like what you've seen so far." He tells me.

"Okay." I squeak excitedly, wiggling in my seat as one of the caretakers of the house suddenly appears and places the food in front of us. My eyes widen as I see the massive pile of food that has been placed before me.

Edward laughed at me, "What? You are a bit on the thin side." He says, playfully.

I narrow my eyes at him, playfully, but before I can respond to him, we hear the front door open.

Edward tenses as a loud boisterous laugh fills the air.

"Emmett, knock it off, do you have any idea what your father will do to us if he finds out that we disobeyed him?" A familiar voice snaps.

I blink, and lean forward, "W-Who is that?" I asked, quietly.

He gives me an exasperated look, "My brother and his wife." He says flatly.

I blink, as he gives me an apologetic look before leaning close to me. "What's going on?" I ask, quietly.

"Remember that favor you owed me? I need you to pay it back." He says.

I frown, "What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Nothing, just follow my lead." He pleads.

I sigh, "Fine but that means you are gonna owe me now, Pookie." I tell him as he snorts, "Of course, wouldn't expect anything less than that, Bunny." He snickers as we hear them enter the room.

"What the fuck is this?" A feminine voice demands.

Wait, I know that voice. Where do I know that voice from?

Edward suddenly leans in and kisses me fervently, groaning into my mouth as a throat clears from behind us, I feel his hand squeeze my thigh before he moves away and turns to look at them.

I run my tongue over my lips, clenching my thighs, before taking a deep breath and turning to look too.

"Bee?! Holy shit, it is you!" Rose gasps.
