Edward's POV:

I sat in my seat, staring at the hallway, anxiously.

"You need to calm the fuck down, Ed." Emmett warned.

I shook my head as I sat there, "Are you fucking telling me that you wouldn't be this pissed off if you found out another man tried to hurt Rosalie?" I ask, as I stood up, unable to sit still for a moment longer.

"I would be seeing red. Ready to burn the world if someone dared lay a single finger on her, and I have. But we're dealing with Cromwell, and Vlad Romani. We can't just jump at them without having the hard evidence. Rose said so." He said.

I shake my head, "Fuck hard evidence. You fucking want evidence? Go get it. Forks is full of it." I snapped.

He rolls his eyes, "You're just mad because you found out what Newton and Sydney tried to fucking do to your Bella." He says.

I scoff, "I already took care of those two rats before I left town Friday." I said.

He groaned, "What the fuck did you do?" He asked, exasperated as our parents walk into the room.

My mother smiles brightly at me as she makes her way to me, pulling me into a hug, and kissing me on the cheek.

"I thought we were gonna be alone?" I asked after greeting both of them.

"That was the plan, until a few hours ago. I just got a very interesting call from the captain of the police department from Forks earlier." He tells me.

I raise a brow as I turn to pull a chair back so my mother could sit in it.

"Hang on, Emmett just asked you a question. Answer it. What did you do?" My father says as he sits down, next to my mother.

I sighed, and rolled my eyes, "I didn't do anything.. I simply set him up in Port Angeles. He works in a small business, and all I did was send a flash drive of all the mismanagement he's been doing to that business. Cops got him before the day was over. Same witbh Sydney. Only I wasn't so lenient with him, he actually touched her, so I sent a buddy of mine to do the same to him." I informed them.

"Right… well I just got a very interesting call from the captain of the police department from Forks." He repeats, giving me a look.

I nod, precariously placing my hands on the table, "What's going on?" I asked.

He gives me a disbelieving look, "Half of the police department has been found to be accepting bribes… amongst other things. Did you have anything to do with that?" He asked.

I shook my head, "No, though I found some very interesting information on Charles Swan, and his buddy, Mark." I replied.

He poured himself a drink before moving to sit down with a sigh. "Does Caius have said information?" He asks as my mother tenses.

I nod, "Got it to him after I got back from the job you asked me to do." I replied.

He nods approvingly. "Alright… now, about this girl…" He trails off.

My mom turns to me, concerned, "We just want to make sure you don't get hurt." She reassures me.

I sigh, "It's fine, mom. It's Swan's daughter. Though I can assure you that she has nothing to do with Charles. To tell you he actually had evidence hidden in plain sight of the murder of Rene Higganbothom… he's an amature." I scoff.

We all roll our eyes as my dad leans back in his chair.

"That's something we already know. How the FBI isn't in Forks yet is beyond me." He mumbles.

I nod in agreement, as Emmett hands the file over to him before looking at me.I stare down at my hands, pretending that I am not angry at everything that I found out yesterday morning from Benji.

"Why is Isabella doing business with Mateo Cromwell?" My dad suddenly asks.

I sigh, "She's trying to buy him out, or at least that's what it looked like to me when I asked Benji to hack her computer the other day." I reply.

Emmett blinks in surprise, "You realize that Rose has that info, all you had to do was ask for it." He tells me.

I shake my head at him, "Not if I and you want to keep our balls intact. Those two are as tight as thieves." I tell him, as I remembered their exchange from earlier.

My mom frowns, "Should she anywhere near that sleazeball by herself?" She asked, concerned.

A voice suddenly speaks from the hall, "It's alright, I can handle myself." Bunny says, smirking at me as she walks into the room.

Her presence demands attention the moment she steps back into the room. The way her long hair sways with the movement of her body is more hypnotizing than clothes on her body.

I immediately get to my feet, and smile as she sashays towards me.

"You must be Isabella Swan, nice to meet you, we're Edwin and Elizabeth Masen-Cullen." My dad greets.

She smiles politely, "Pleasure is all mine, Mr. Cullen." She says as greets him.

My dad gives me an approving look as he shakes her hand.

Bunny smiles as she turns to greet my mother.

My mother pushes her hand away, and pulls her into a fierce hug, surprising the hell out of me and her. "Nice to meet you, Isabella, I'm Elizabeth." She says, smiling widely at her.

I can see a cute, pink tinge coloring her cheeks, neck, and chest, and my mind immediately wonders where that flush ends, and my mind goes to the possibilities and nasty things I'd like to do to her.

Starting with that amazing pair of—

"Right, Edward?" I heard before I fell an elbow poke me in the ribs.

"Fuh— I mean, yes." I groan.

I hear an excited squeal. "So, you two are dating?" My mother asks.

I blink in surprise, "Uh, well—" I stutter, but Bunny intercedes.

"Yes, it's — it's fairly new so we are barely getting to know each other." She tells her as she looks at Rose, who smirks in response.

"That's great. I'm so happy for both of you." My mom gushes.

My dad gives me a sympathetic look, before realizing that we are uncomfortable. "Bethy, cara mia, let's give them some space, hm?" He asks.

"But I want to know the— right. Rose, how was your business meeting, dolcezza?" She asks.

I take that moment to grab Bunny's hand and silently head back to my room.

When we are finally there, she turns and crosses her arms over her supple chest.

"You owe me big." She says, tapping her foot.

I sigh, "I know, look, I didn't know they were all going to show up here. I told them not to come." I told her.

She shakes her head, "There better be a good reason as to why I am lying to them." She replies.

I want to smirk and tell her that it's not a lie, if I have anything to say about it, she'll be mine soon if I play my cards right.

I sigh, "It is." I reassure her, " I don't like to lie either. " I tell her, honestly.

She sighs, "So, what do we do?" She asks.

I allow myself to smirk. "I have a proposition." I say.

She narrowed her eyes at me before motioning for me to continue. "Go on." She says.

"It's simple, really, go out on a date with me." I tell her, smiling as I watch her response.
