The front door of the Barnes home opened to reveal a grumbling Bucky walking in, carrying two bags one is a backpack while the other is a duffel.
Kagome walks out from the hallway. "Hey!" She greets warmly with a smile. "You weren't gone for long." Her smile fades at his grumpiness. "Bucky?"
He drops his bags on the floor. "Hi doll." He sighs as he approaches her and kisses her cheek. "It's just been a long day."
"You were up pretty early today." She replied. "How was the library?"
"New York is in a black out." He plops down on the couch. "Could've studied there, but wanted to come home." He lays the back of his head on the couch.
"Haven't had a blackout in awhile." She agrees. "I was just about to pull some brats and steak from the freezer and turn on the grill." She moves to sit next to him. "Are you hungry? Want some lunch?"
"Yeah, I could use some lunch." He nods, he turns his head to her. "I'm sorry sweetheart, I've been trying to hard at getting this done and over with."
"It's ok." Kagome ran a hand her fingers through his hair. "You deserve this, you've been busting butt on this."
"Are the kids home?" Bucky closes his eyes at the feeling her fingers gently and softly going through his hair.
"Both in their rooms. Harry's getting ready to leave for his magic school, and Stephanie is in time out."
"Ok." Bucky nods. "Do you think they'd be they'd be quiet enough so I do some studying?" He asks.
"Your daughter has been a brat since you left, so I don't know about her. But Harry's fine."
Bucky sighs.
"Buck, what's wrong?" His wife asks gently
He shook his head. "Nothin." He then lifts his head. "You need help with the food?"
"Could always need help." She smiles as she stands up, but yelps when he suddenly grabs her waist and pulls her into his lap.
"How is it that you've always been by my side?" He asks as he holds her close. "Through everything?"
She stares at him with concern, then it softens. "You're a good man James Barnes, Everything you did in the past with HYDRA. It wasn't you."
"I don't deserve you."
Kagome smiles, locking her arms around his neck. "Just like I don't deserve you. But here we are." She kisses him, and Bucky tightens his arms around her waist as he pulls her close.
He pulls away. "I could hold you like this all night, but we need to get that grill going."

It was now a few weeks later. Bucky slammed the door of his car, the other car door slam closed. Bucky turns and walks to the back of the car. "Are we ready?" He asks as he takes out Harry's trunk out of the car.
"Ready as ever." Harry answered simply as he held Hedwig's cage.
"Then let's go." Kagome said as she comes around the car carrying Stephanie on her hip. "Harry, do you have your ticket?"
He dug into his pocket and smiles as he pulls out the ticket. "I have it here."
"Ok. Let's find this 9 and 3 quarters." Bucky closes the trunk of his car.

The Barnes family walks through Kings Cross Station. "How do we find the portal?" Stephanie asked as they walk, but she's carried by her father.
"Just." Kagome starts, looking towards the big numbers. "Have to find the right one." She places her hand on Harry's back to guide him down. "This way."

After sometime, Stephanie yawns and lowers her head on Bucky's shoulder.
"Ok, this is ridiculous." Kagome huffs as she folds her arms. "Even I can't find the damn portal." She throws her arms out. "That's not fair!" She complains.
"Every year, packed with Muggles of course." A woman's voice complains just as loudly, the word 'muggles' grabs Harry's attention. "Come on, platform 9 and 3 quarters this way!"
"'Muggles'?" He asks as the Barnes family watch as a group of red heads walk past them, four of kids are pushing a trolly with the same Hogwarts symbol on their own trunks.
"What's a 'muggle'?" Stephanie asks. "Is it offensive?"
"It means none magical folk." Harry answered. "Hagrid explained it to me."
"Well then!" Kagome brightened. "Let's go."
The family then follows the red head clan, where they stop at a brick wall that has the numbers 9 and 10 between.
"Oh, of course." Kagome rolls her eyes at herself.
The red headed mother is holding the younger red head's hand.
"Are these people related to Natasha?" Bucky asks.
"I doubt it." Kagome folds her arms as they watch the mother of move to the side.
"Alright Percy, you first." The mother waves one of her boys towards the platform, her son moves with his trolly and walks towards the brick wall.
Stephanie gasped and Harry recoils when the red head disappears through the brick wall.
"Fred, you next." The mother turns to a set of twins.
"He's not Fred, I am!"
"Honestly woman, you call yourself our mother."
From where she stood with her own family, Kagome giggled softly as she felt their playful aura. Bucky leans to her.
"Remind us to not have twins."
Kagome patted his chest.
"Oh, sorry George." The mother gestures for the platform, her son moves into poison and looks at his mother.
"I'm only joking!" His smile is huge. "I am Fred!" With that he runs to the platform and disappears with his twin not far behind.
"Whoa!" Harry rapidly shook his head.
"Come on." Kagome moves. "Excuse me, ma'am!" She calls and the red head mother turns, along with her two remaining children.
"Yes?"
"Um, sorry to interrupt." Bucky apologizes as he comes up behind Kagome. "But uh." He gestures to the platform. "Our son here." He nods at Harry. "First time."
"And we were wondering about the platform." Kagome finished.
The mother gave a warm smile. "Oh, how wonderful. Not to worry dears! It's Ron's first time at Hogwarts as well!" She gestures to her son, who nods. She gestures to the platform as she side steps. "It's easy. All you got to do is head straight for the wall between 9 and 10." She instructs. "Best do it in a run if you're nervous."
Harry turns to look at his family.
"Guess this is where we part for now." Bucky bent down, setting Stephanie on her feet to kneel in front of Harry. "Be careful ok?"
Harry nods. "I will." The two hug, then Harry turns to Stephanie. "Take care of them ok?"
She nods. "I will." She then hugs him, after pulling away Harry turns to Kagome.
"You remember how to contact Sesshomaru?" She asks, making him think.
"Yes." He nods.
"Good." Kagome gently combed his hair. "Before you go, don't forget about Jenken."
Harry blinked in surprise, then blushed. "I ... I did forget." He said nervously. He closed his eyes to concentrate and snapped his fingers.

Inside Sesshomaru's office, Jenken sighs with boardroom with his arms and legs dangling as he floats around the ceiling. Suddenly he yells in surprise as he suddenly falls and face plants on the floor, all the while Sesshomaru ignores him.

"Sorry." Harry apologies sheepishly.
"Nothing can hurt that Imp." Kagome said gently, pulling Harry into her arms. "Now be safe, and no fighting. Unless the other kids start it, then you'll have to kick their butts."
"Nice one doll." Bucky said with a shake of his head, Stephanie giggled as she clung to her father's leg.
"I promise." Harry nods.
"Good." Kagome kisses his cheek. "Now off you go."
Harry turns back to the platform, squares his shoulders and takes off running and disappears through the wall.
Now it was Ron's turn. "By mom."
"Be good Ronald. Keep your brothers in line since I can't be there."
"I ... I'll try." With that Ron turns and runs for the platform.
The red headed mother turns to the Barnes family. "Welcome, first year parents." She smiled warmly. "I'm Molly Weasley, and this is my youngest, Ginny."
"Hello ma'am." Kagome smiled as she shook her hand. "I'm Kagome Barnes, this is my husband James, and our daughter Stephanie." She introduced as Bucky picks up Stephanie again.
"Nice to meet you ma'am." Bucky nods.
"A pleasure to meet you." Molly smiles. "Tell me, are you in a hurry to return home? You must have questions about Hogwarts."
"Um." Kagome hesitates, she turns to Bucky. "Bucky?" She asks him.
He shook his head. "I can always keep up studying tomorrow."
