"It looks like there's some family drama brewing. I'll catch you at school on Monday, Hannah, but don't expect us to remain friends after this. Whatever feelings you had for me, it's time to move on. I don't share those feelings; in fact, I have quite the opposite. You deceived me about your brothers, and your treatment of them is unkind. I have zero tolerance for bullies. What Andy mentioned about you thinking that enjoying Harry Potter and Legos is nerdy really struck a nerve with me. Do you see me as a nerd?" Evan states.
"No, I don't see you that way. I actually think you're really cool," Hannah replies.
"Seriously? Then why can't you feel the same about your brothers? They seem pretty awesome to me. Just because they enjoy Harry Potter and Legos doesn't make them nerds; it makes them unique," Evan responds.
"Evan, do you want to meet the rest of BTR?" Logan inquires.
"Oh, absolutely!" Evan exclaims with enthusiasm.
"Alright, follow me," Logan instructs.
They head back to join the others.
"Is everything alright, Logan?" Kendall asks.
"Yeah, just a little situation with Hannah. Not surprising, really. It didn't bother me, but what she said and did to Andy and Steven is what matters," Logan explains, detailing the incident.
"She'll never change," James comments.
"Who's this guy with you?" Carlos asks.
"This is Evan. He goes to school with Hannah and she has a crush on him, but after what just happened, he told her to let it go," Logan explains.
"Hey, everyone! I really love your music. I listen to it all the time," Evan says.
"Thanks, Evan," Kendall replies.
"Fantastic news, Carlos! Your camera has been fully repaired and is ready for you to pick up," Mr. Mark announces. "Walter just called to let me know that the repairs are complete."
"Finally! I can't wait to have my camera back in my hands. I'm so thrilled!" Carlos exclaims.
Upon arriving at the iCan Fix It tech repair shop, he eagerly approaches the service counter, anticipation bubbling as he waits for Walter to hand over his beloved camera.
"Here it is! It's as good as new. David put in a lot of effort to polish out those scratches. Now it looks pristine and brand new," Walter informs him with a smile.
"Thank you so much!" Carlos replies, joyfully yet cautiously accepting the camera. "It truly looks incredible."
"I'm glad you're pleased with our service. Now, let's discuss the bill," Walter says, presenting him with the receipt.
Carlos glances at the total and gasps. "Oh wow, um, I'm only 16, and I can't really manage this bill on my own. I'm not sure what to do," he admits, anxiety creeping in.
"Let me take a look at that," Mr. Mark interjects, nearly choking on his gum. "900.90! That's quite steep! What's the reason for this?"
"Well, it took considerable time to repair the camera. We had to open it up to check the internal circuitry and readjust the door that opens to the screen. A lot of work went into this repair. It's a newer model, and we needed to ensure the battery was intact and the charging port was functional," Walter explains. "But since you're a first-time customer, I can offer you a 50% discount."
Mr. Mark exhales in relief. "That's a much better deal!"
"Isn't that still a hefty amount? That's around 575.95, right?" Lucas remarks, clearly struggling with his math skills.
"No, actually, 50% of 990 is 495," Logan corrects him.
"I'm not great with numbers, but even I can figure that out," Carlos chimes in.
"Lucas, I'm covering this bill because it's the least I can do after you nearly wrecked Carlos' camera, but you're going to pitch in too. I'll take whatever allowance you have and apply it to the bill. And don't even think about arguing, because you won't be seeing an allowance for quite a while," Mr. Mark states firmly as he pulls out his credit card and hands it to Employee Walter.
