"I take pleasure in being of assistance. Ms. Knight tirelessly supports us all by herself. She truly deserves a moment to relax and some extra help from time to time," Logan expresses.

"She's fortunate to have you around, and I feel the same way," Camille replies, planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Ugh, that's so gross," Katie exclaims, cringing at their youthful display of affection.

"Well, that certainly put an end to her bickering with Kendall," Camille chuckles.

"Kendall, have you ever considered that arguing with your ten-year-old sister is both trivial and unnecessary? Shouldn't you be setting a good example for her?" Jo interjects.

With an exasperated sigh, Kendall retorts, "Jo, it's way too early for a lecture from you. You weren't even here to witness how this whole thing began. I am not the only one responsible for this mess."

"What on earth were you and Katie arguing about?" Camille inquires, her brow raised in curiosity.

"She insisted on having candy for breakfast! Can you believe it? I'm just trying to save her from a dentist visit because she absolutely loathes them. She should appreciate that I'm looking out for her," Kendall replies, exasperated.

"Didn't you ever crave candy for breakfast when you were her age?" Jo probes, a hint of nostalgia in her voice.

"Maybe when I was a little kid, but as I grew up, I realized I didn't want to end up with juvenile diabetes," he says, glancing at his sister. "I did you a solid, Katie," Kendall adds.

Katie rolls her eyes dramatically. "Whatever," she mutters before scampering up to the swirly slide.

Kendall lets out a deep sigh. "Sometimes I wonder if I'm really doing a good job as her big brother," he confesses.

"You are, Kendall. You're an amazing big brother. She might not always show it, but she loves you," Jo reassures him.

"I just finished texting my Papi, and he mentioned we could swing by the police station if we want to witness how he plans to discipline Lucas. He said it's our choice," Carlos explains. "Honestly, I'd rather not be in the same universe as Lucas right now, especially with how furious I still am at him. If only I could send him to a dark, eerie realm that fits his personality."

"Preach it, brother, preach it," James chimes in, fully on board with Carlos's sentiments.

"We get it, Carlos. You want to steer clear of him. We feel the same way," Logan adds.

Just then, a knock echoes through the room.

Kendall opens the door, beaming. "Hey, Andy and Steven! Great to see you on this beautiful Sunday morning. What brings you here?"

"We've got a bit of a situation," Andy replies. "It involves my cat, Angel. I brought her along so you all can meet her."

"Awesome! Where is she?" Kendall asks eagerly.

"In this cage," Andy says, lifting it up. A series of growls and snarls emanate from within.

"Are you sure that's a cat in there?" James asks, taken aback by the ruckus.

"Absolutely. The reason she's in there is that she's really upset with me right now. I was hoping you could help me with my predicament," Andy explains as he steps into the apartment.

"What's got Angel so upset?" Carlos inquires.

"I need to clip her nails. She has scratching posts, but she doesn't use them enough, and her nails have gotten out of control. Normally, a vet would handle this, but their office is closed on Sundays. I know you guys don't have pets, but I also know you love animals. I just want her to stop being mad at me because I feel like a terrible cat daddy," Andy admits.

"Cat daddy?" James questions, intrigued.

"Yeah! There's a cat expert on TV named Jackson Galaxy who calls himself the cat daddy because he helps owners with their troubled cats. I follow a lot of his advice; he's incredibly helpful, and I really look up to him. I'm going to take Angel out of her cage now. Maybe she'll chill out once she's out of that confined space," Andy says, opening the cage door and gently reaching for his feline friend.

"Oh, isn't she just the sweetest thing, Andy?" Camille gushes.

"Absolutely precious," Jo agrees.

"Thank you. She can be a bit reserved at first, she's just a little shy," Andy explains.

"No worries, we'll give her all the space she needs to warm up to us," Camille reassures.

In a delightful exchange, Katie approaches Andy, her eyes shimmering with excitement as she takes in the sight of Angel. "So this is the remarkable Angel you've been raving about! She is truly stunning, Andy. Your cat possesses such a regal and majestic aura," she exclaims, her admiration palpable.

Andy responds with a warm smile, appreciating her kind words, "Thank you, Katie. That means a lot to me." With a gentle motion, he places Angel on the floor, granting her the freedom to explore her new environment.

Sensing the welcoming atmosphere, Angel confidently strides toward Katie, affectionately rubbing against her leg while purring softly. "Wow, Andy, look at that!" Steven exclaims, clearly taken aback by Angel's behavior.

Observing this interaction, Andy comments, "That's quite unusual for her."

Intrigued, Katie asks, "Really?"

Andy elaborates, "Yes, she is an affectionate cat, but she usually reserves that for my mom. It's rare for her to show such warmth to someone she has just met. She must be picking up on the good vibes you're radiating."

This enchanting moment underscores the remarkable ability of animals to sense emotions and intentions.

Andy continues, "She can definitely tell you're a wonderful person. Your calm and gentle demeanor has made her feel at ease."

The air is filled with a sense of positivity as Katie recognizes the special connection blossoming between her and Angel, highlighting the profound bond that exists between humans and their beloved pets. This joyful encounter not only showcases Angel's charm but also reaffirms the immense joy and companionship that pets bring into our lives, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and happiness.

"I have a soft spot for animals and I've been eagerly awaiting the chance to meet Angel. Would you be open to me assisting with trimming her nails? I overheard the whole ordeal from the swirly slide deck, and since Angel seems calm around me, perhaps that will make the task easier for you. What do you say?" Katie suggests.

"Let's give it a shot, but just to be safe, I should probably still protect myself from any accidental scratches," Andy responds.

"I have an idea. Why don't you wear my hockey gear?" Kendall proposes, retrieving the gear from the locker near the front door.

"Kendall, I really appreciate the offer, but what if Angel's nails end up damaging your hockey gear? I'd feel awful if that happened," Andy voices his concern.

"Don't worry, I think Angel will be just fine as long as Katie holds her while you trim her nails," Kendall reassures him, helping him put on the gear.

"Alright, Angel, I realize this might not be your favorite moment, but I really need to trim your nails. I promise it won't take long if you don't make it harder than it has to be," Andy says, inching closer to his furry companion.

Angel glares at him, her eyes wide with alarm at the sight of his hockey gear, and lets out a hiss before leaping from Katie's arms to seek refuge under the couch.

Andy gasps, taken aback. "S-S-She's never hissed at me before! I must be the worst cat dad ever," he laments, his heart sinking.

"Andy, you're not a bad cat dad," Logan reassures him.

"Did you see how she reacted? She's terrified of me, and I can't figure out why," Andy replies, his voice tinged with worry.

"I think it's the hockey gear. She's not familiar with it, and it probably startled her. She's just scared of the outfit, not you," Logan explains.

"Really? So if I take all this off, she'll come out and let me trim her nails?" Andy asks, wiping away the tears that threaten to spill.

"Yeah, give it a try," Logan encourages.

With determination, Andy strips off the hockey gear. "Angel, my lovely little kitty, I'm not scary anymore. You can come out now. Please, come on out," he calls, getting down on his hands and knees to peer under the couch. "I see you, Angel. Come on, sweet girl."

Angel's expression softens as she spots her beloved owner, and she dashes over, purring as she nuzzles against him. "That's my precious girl, my baby Angel," he whispers, wrapping her in a gentle hug. "I'm so sorry I frightened you. I never meant to. I hope you understand, even if you don't, that I would never hurt you on purpose. We need to trim your nails for your health, so they don't get caught in the carpet or furniture, alright?"

Angel responds with a soft meow, continuing to purr.

"I think she gets it, Andy," Carlos chimes in.
