"Copen can refrain from doing stupid things. But he can't stop himself from being stupid." Kira mocked.

"You seem eager to start a fight." Asimov noticed.

"Oh yeah, I'm a real big fan of viol-'' But Gunvolt covered Kira's mouth before she could say more.

""Yeah, she's a pretty big an of violins. Probably because she's Mytyl's replacement." Gunvolt lied.

Kira removed Gunvolt's hand from over her mouth and smiled.

"Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of what they can do if I smash one over someone's head too." Kira cheered.

"Violence, she's a big fan of violence." Gunvolt sighed.

"Anybody could've told you that." Asimov reminded.

"Do you need to go post or something? Maybe we can throw Sumeragi off if you do." Lumen added.

"Yeah, but I don't know how I'd do that." Kira answered.

"We have a computer you can use. It's an old laptop but I'm sure it'll work for your writing." Gunvolt notified.

"If that wouldn't be any trouble I'd really appreciate it." Kira confirmed.

Gunvolt nodded and left the room.

"Hey Lumen, are you mad at me?" Kira asked.

"No, why?" Lumen replied.

"Because I heard you don't know I'm a fan of you. It's hurtful, offensive even. I can't go to bed without listening to Nebulous Clock. I've been doing this since the game came out. I know that's not long, but still. I was obsessed with it from the first note." Kira spoke.

It took a moment for Kira's words to settle. But once they did, Lumen seemed a little bit happier.

"I know he's an Azure Striker Adept, but I still can't help worrying." Kira stuttered nervously.

"Hey, it's set up. I just can't find the charger." Gunvolt informed.

"That's okay, we can find it later. It's charged though, right?" Lumen responded.

"Kira could probably use her Azure Striker to power it." Gunvolt supposed.

"Getting back at her for the electricity bill comment?" Kira guessed.

"No, but I suppose that's an added bonus." Gunvolt denied.

Lumen folded her arms and had the same look on her face when she told Quinn that Gunvolt's hair was inviolable.

"I know she's not just a pretty face. But she's certainly got one you can't ignore." Kira noted.

"You'll be better off going charge that laptop right about now." Gunvolt warned.

Kira nodded and went off to charge her new device.

"Alright, do I use Luxcalibur to the CPU? Voltaic Chains to the mainframe? Ugh, how am I even supposed to do this!? Is there a charger specifically for Azure Striker Adepts!?" Kira growled.

"Unfortunately, there isn't. And I would highly adivse against using Special Skills on any form of electronic devices. Unless you are told to do so by a superior." Asimov lectured.

"Doesn't she have unlimited Special Skill usage?" Gunvolt queried.

"Kind of, it's complicted. She can mix all of her Septimas into a sword attack. You have heard of the Septimal Striker, haven't you?" Asimov informed.

"No, but I feel like I should have." Gunvolt guessed.

"That's the name of her ultimate attack. It's also the alias she wanted that nobody calls her by. Well, within Sumeragi or anywhere." Asimov explained.

"I, I don't get the thing with my Septima Skills. I thought you could only use one Septima at a time. And don't you have to let your skills recharge?" Kira droned.

"You can use your Septimas for a long period of time. During this time you can mix as many Septimas as you want and use an unlimited number of Special Skills. After this however, your Septimas will need time to recharge." Asimov eluicdated.

"All of them?" Kira worried.

"Just the ones you used." Asimov confirmed.

"I just wanted to ask. you were bound practically head to toe in chains at S-FIT for experimentation right? Was that what allowed you to use Voltaic Chains? Like some right of passage for Azure Strikers?" Kira squeaked.

"It may seem that way. Although, that wasn't standard for GV. We were just dangerous enough to be considered top tier threats by Sumeragi." Asimov answered.

"Actually, I did experience that." Gunvolt corrected.

"I'm sorry about that. They never tell you how bad or scary it really is. But then again, if they ever told people what working for the Sumeragi was like, nobody would join. That's probably why so many of their test subjects are taken off the streets." Kira joked.

"You do realize that you're the most dangerous Septima holder in this house right? you're the only one here he's used that gun on." Asimov reminded.

"Has Copen ever gotten ahold of it though? That anyone's seen?" Kira sked.

'The Border? Didn't you destroy it?" Gunvolt remembered while pointing at Asimov.

Asimov nodded.

"Does Apollo know what GV looks like?" Kira wondered.

"He did find out when we invaded the sanatorium recently." Asimov guaranteed.

"What!? Why!? There's no need to be fighting him unnecessarily and junk!" Kira fumed.

"Your custody is clearly in the wrong hands." Asimov stated.

"Well it's not like we can call CpS and get them involved. They'll think we're crazy and get us all locked up." Lumen rebuked.

"At least Copen deosn't kow my origin or true purpose." Kira beamed.

"Uh, who's going to tell her?" Lumen whispered.

"Huh? Tell me what?" Kira panicked.

"Copen knows your origin and true purpose now. Zed is aware too." Asimov admitted.

That's when Kira lost it. She started panicking. The girl curled up on the couch and activated her Cyber Field.

"He totally wants to kill me now doesn't he?" Kira worried.

He's been knowing for quite a while. But his intention to kill you started before that." Asimov answered.

"What about Zed? Why did he learn that?" Kira seethed.

"That is to be determined." Asimov responded.

"I still can't believe you two have been working together for eight years already." Lumen commented.

"Yeah, it looks like time flies when you're managing an international company, huh boss?" Kira guessed.

"She was't talking about me." Asimov corrected.

Kira pointed to heself a Asimov nodded. She then pointeed to Gunvolt and got the same reaction.

"We? Work? Why did nobody tell me!?" Kira shrieked.

"You never asked." Gunvolt stated.

Kira unexpectedly obtained another flashback. She was walking down a dirt path. On either side of Kira was tall grass at her knees in height. A ways in front was a skyline filled with trees.

Suddenly, Kira felt something force her to kneel. Somebody grabbed her wrists, forced them behind her back and pulled the poor girl down. She looked up to see if anything else changed. Only to discover a sniper kneeling on their right knee from the left side of the path.

On the other side was a tank with the barrel aimed at her with another sniper on the left side of the tank. Even after being freed from its effects, Kira could still feel her wrists being constrained.

"Another flashback?" Gunvolt noticed.

'Yeah, it was weird." Kira confirmed.

Moebius shook his head.

"So, what is it then? A vision?" Kira wondered.

Moebius shook his head again.

"So, it was a flashback?" Kira assumed.

Moebius nodded.

"Well, that was dark." Kira guessed.

"What happened this time?" Asimov asked.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you. No matter how many times I repeated myself." Kira cackled.

"Was it the fact that Copen shot you in the right knee cap after finding the truth about you?' Asimov supposed.

"So that's why my knee hurts." Kira realized.

"Do we have to worry about those meetings yet?" Lumen muttered.

"As of tonight, yes. I know what you're truly concerned with. Apollo never attends those meetings. He either goes to S-FIT or the sanatorium." Asimov explained.

"How bad is the expeimentation Kira undergoes because of Apollo?" Gunvolt questioned.

"Kira bent her head down.

"Are you sure you want to know?" Asimov inqueried.

Gunvolt nodded.

"I'f I'm going to help her, I need to know what's going on." Gunvolt confirmed.

Kira gave Asimov a fearful look. She was worried about the potential of a very permanently mentally scarred coworker.

"Can I be excused until my input is needed?" Kira beged.

"That wouldn't be ideal, especially if correction is needed." Asimov doubted.

Kira seated herself on the left couch arm next to Gunvolt, trying to cover his ears.

"Continue." Kira smirked.

"We can't, not until you uncover his ears." Asimov denied.

"Nyope." Kira snarled.

"Kirin, uncover GV's ears right now or prepare to face the consequences." Asimov warned as he revealed the E.A.T.R. gun out of seemingly nowhere.

Kira was skeptical, but then remembered that the gun wasn't used in the boss fight against Gunvolt so she didn't know its capabilities. Regardless, she laughed.

"What's so funny? Because last time I checked it's not humorous to be staring down a gun barrel." Asimov remarked.

"It is when your target's too fast to shoot!" Kira mocked.

That's when Asimov realied his mistake. Suddenly, Kira discovered a slight something she overlooked.

"Uh, do you think it would be a little too late to turn back?" Kira wondered.

"It's probably about as much too late to turn back as it its to deny everything you've learned." Asimov supposed.

"At least she hasn't learned about when Lumen hit her over the head with that pan." Gunvolt whispered.

Kira looked at Lumen with all the surprise of a Hawaiian native seeing a snake for the first time.

"I thought you were Desna!" Lumen stated.

"But I don't believe in any of that astology stuff!" Kira rebuked.

"I don't think even her song could've undone the extra hours Kira was asleep for." Gunvolt commented.

"Is there anything else I should know before I reattempt to collect my shards of shattered sanity of the ground?" Kira begged.

"Nothing other than you'll need to start correcting things." Asimov notified.

Kira covered her own ears. Asimov began to explain as Kira uncomfortably squirmed. The longer Asimov kept explaining, the more shocked Gunvolt and Lumen grew as Kira got ever more embarrassed.

"And, to now address the most important problem." Asimov stated.

Suddenly, Kira had another impromptu vision. She was laying down on an operating table with straps on her throat, wrists and ankles. All of a sudden, Dr. Kamizono plunged a knife into Kira's heart and turned it to the right. After that, she knew why her heart felt like it was beating faster and harder.

"What was that?" Kira worried.

"Flashback, last night." Moebius explained.

"Oh, you can't be serious." Kira growled.

"Experimentation, Zed." Moebius added.

"Was that last night too?" Kira assumed.

Moebius nodded.

"But what about the experimentation last night? i thought it was just that one eent?' Kira rambled.

"It was a good idea after all to let her in the building." Asimov noted.

"i'm surprised Zeno's been okay with her." Gunvolt added.

"It's just a shame Moniqa still ses Kira as competition, even though it's not true." Lumen remarked.

"What about Xiao? Did he like me?" Kira hoped.

"Moniqa likes Kira now so I brought her to HQ lat night. As for Xiao, he's ccme around to the idea as well."' Asimov informed.

"Yay, I love Moniqa, she's so awesome. I wanna be like her when I grow up." Kira cheered.

"Uh, you do relize what you said right?" Gunvolt cautioned.

"But of course, I want to be like Lumen too.. Sadly though, I just won't be able to reach that level of awesomeness." Kira added rapidly.

Kira suddenly though of something but waived it off. She went to bed happily and woke up with a spring in her step. Nobody else however seemed the same way.

"Thank you for the pancakes Lumen! The sprinkles are cute too." Kira cheered.

"Oh, no problem." Lumen responded.

"A-are you mad at me?" Kira worried as she grabbed the syrup.

"We're not mad at you, just what happened to you." Lumen explainedd.

Kira didn't exactly remember what happened, but she did soon enough.

"So, I did get that promotion after all, huh?" Kira realized.

"I didn't even know Corvette was working there until Asimov told me." Gunvolt commented.

"I gues there's no hope of denying anything then." Kira sighed.

"Especially not with your new promotion tonight." Asimov added.

"Not again, please, no more." Kira begged.

"If you want to help Elise, this position will certainly do that." Asimov notified.

"What do you mean? What's the new title for?" Kira wondered.

"Stratacombs supervisor. The whole of the Stratacombs will be under your jurisdiction." Asimov stated.

"Really? That's going to make her feel so much better." Kira beamed.

"The only problem is we don't know how Nova's going to react." Gunvolt cautioned.

"He's probably going to be jealous. He didn't have control of the Stratacombs while he was second in command." Asimov guessed.

"Since when did he get here!?" Kira shrieked while pointing at Asimov with her fork.

"You've been talking to him for five minutes..." Gunvolt reminded.

"I thought that was some voice from a vision or flashback and I was talking to myself!" Kira defended.

Suddenly, Kira swore she jinxed herself. She was in the midst of another vision. Kira was bound to a metal table by wrist and ankle straps. She saw Dr. Kamizono try to grab something and attempted to bite his forearm through his labcoat sleeve.

He pulled his arm away and went to grab something. He walked back towards Kira who saw he was holding something. It was a black muzzle with holes on the cheek sides and a thin strap behind the head. There was a ridge to go over the nose but no holes near it for breathing.

Kira began to scream "no!" at the top of her lungs relentlessly. Unfortuntely, this didn't stop Dr. Kamizono from placing the restraint over Kira's mouth and securing it on the back of her head. Regardless of her constant protests, a massive cut was made from the top to bottom of Kira's abdomen. Kira could only mentally react in the form of panic to her situation.

She could feel her veins be split by the blade. Her chest depressurized as Kira was struck by lightheadedness. The girl blacked out and stopped seeing the vision. her sights were now set on keeping this a secret. But unluckily for her, Asimov was already aware of what happened.

"You had another vision didn't you?" Asimov realized.

"Flashback." Moebius corrected.

'Flashback actually." Kira notified.

"What was it about?" Gunvolt pondered.

Kira flinched as her hair unknowingly turned white. She was the only one who didn't notice. The fact Kira's eyes turned red went unnoticed by her as well. Gunvolt was about to say something but Asimov stopped him while Lumen finally recognized this side of Kira.

"I don't get it. Why is everyone looking at me so funny? It looks like Asimov's about to shoot, GV seems ready to make a comment and her, well, I dunno about Lumen." Kira wondered.

Moebius didn't respond, indicating that both he and Kira had the same level of knowledge regarding the situation: none.

"Uh, there's nothing sketchy going on here!" Kira lied.

"Other than your hair and eye color." Gunvolt remarked.

Kira was confused and decided to look in the bathroom mirror. She screamed when she looked. The bathroom mirror showed a girl with shoulder length white hair and red eyes. Kira ran back to the living room, unable to form a single word. All she could do was wheeze and form syllables.

"What is it?" Gunvolt asked, concerned something was seriously wrong.

Kira randomly bean laughing. It took 10 minutes for her to stop.

"I need you to tell me what's going on. Is there or is there not an enemy in the bathroom?" Gunvolt interrogated.

"No, I don't know what made you think that. But Zonda's pulling tricks with the bathroom mirror." Kira elaborated.

"What kind of tricks?" Gunvolt questioned.

"Like makig my hair look old and my eyes bloodshot." Kira answered.

"Your hair is platinum blond and your pupils are vermillion in hue." Gunvolt replied.

Kira got angry but did her best not to show it, which wasn't enough.

"I take it you're upset that GV mentioned you and vermillion in the same sentence." Asimov noted.

Kira nodded.

"Why's that?' Gunvolt inqueried.

"Zed is also known as the vermillion bird of the South. Feng shui is represented by five mythical creatures. The black tortoise of the North, azure dragon of the East, white tiger of the West, vermillion bird of the South and the yellow beast of center. They all represent people within the ASG games.

Xiao is the tortoise supposedly for his ability to slow time. You're the azure dragon from the Azure Striker Septima. Copen's version of the Border gun has supposed claws and his jacket armor is called the white tiger. Zed's Golden Trillions Septima creates vermillion colored wings and birds for his attacks.

Kirin here is the beast of center because she has involvement with everyone else." Asimov elcuidated.

"Or is it because my genetics have something to do with everybody else?" Kira theorized.

"What are you saying?" Asimov wondered.

"Think about it, what I have in common with them other than experimentation or some other form of work is my genes. And no Lumen, not pants brand. I have the Rewind Time, Azure Striker and Golden Trillions Septimas. And, whatever tampering that made me look like Copen or Mytyl when I feel life threatening danger nearby." Kira replied.
