The streets of London were bustling with crowds of people who were enjoying a relaxing morning walk or simply heading off to work. The loud traffic and the multitude of constant conversation would probably give anyone a massive migraine. Though that couldn't probably be said for the raven haired man who managed to block out everything that was entering his ears.

Jin Kazama sat outside of a local coffee shop with a relaxed expression as he observed the on goings of the vibrant city in front of him. Being raised in the wilderness one would think that an urban environment would be difficult to adjust to. But thankfully when he was a young boy he would always beg his mother to bring him to explore many of Japans major cities. Seeing the peaceful clear skies and hearing the birds chirping in the trees above him made Jin remember why all his efforts were worth it in the end.

A year had passed since he had defeated his father and permanently purged the devil and Azazel's power from his being. The UN was able to bring Kazuya into custody. During those months, Jin had been helping Lars and his Yggdrasil troops dealing with the remaining forces of G Corporation and incacerating what was left of their ranks through out the world. Allowing many of ravaged nations to reclaim each of their own governments and rebuild their military so they could drive them out.

Peace and order was slowly returning returning to the world.

However despite his efforts in restoring peace to the world he himself was the one who brought to ruin. Many still saw him as a devil who brought the fires of hell upon them. He could easily remember the contemptuous glares when he was in the sight of those whos lives he destroyed when he was on the seat of power of the Mishima Zaibatsu. In the worlds eyes he was no different than Kazuya.

Even so Jin would bare this and keep pushing forward, just like he always has. Though this time he didn't have to do it alone anymore.

"I apologize for keeping you waiting Jin! The lines were much longer than I expected!" Swiveling his head in the direction of the kind and friendly voice the familiar sight of Alisa Bosconovitch stood before with cup of black hot coffe in her hand. Her sweet smile lighting her face.

Jin returned it, though his was smaller in comparison to hers as he took his cafinated beverage. "Thank you Alisa. You didn't have to go through the trouble."

The pinkette android waved him off as she adjusted the strap of her purse. "It wasn't any trouble at all. Anything for a friend."

During that year when Jin was assisting with the relief efforts with Yggdrasil he had gotten much closer to the female android who was initially created to follow his every command and be used as a weapon for war. Lars had also given her the position of captain of his army.

And while Jin wasn't officially a member of his forces the fact they were two of the powerful assets that Yggdrasil had at their disposal it made sweeping out G Corporations lasting opposition was dwindling much quicker than they anticipated.

Which lead to where they were now. Since Jin had been working diligently in those long months Lars suggested that he take a break and let him handle the rest. He tried to decline but the spiky haired soldier was insistent along with Lee.

But that left the question of was he allowed to roam the world freely with out any type of military escort. Even though he had saved the world from Kazuya's tyranny that didn't mean he was exempt from his own crimes. While he had started the war in an attempt to raise and destroy Azazel the consequences of global always involved the ruination of peoples lives.

Or the ending of them.

Jin had come to terms that no matter just his reasons were the actions he took resulted in the deaths of many innocents. And like all actions one takes they always resulted in consequences. While the UN assisted them in their efforts in bringing down Kazuya they still had orders for Jin's arrest. He was willing to turn himself in but Lars, Lee, and Alisa tried vouching for him. While he was grateful for that he needed to accept responsibility for what he had done. He couldn't escape legal punishment forever.

However the commander of the UN forces Victor Chevalier appealed to their pleas and decided to let Jin off. Though this didn't mean that he was completely off the hook. They wanted Alisa to keep an eye on him and report anything that would stain his record.

It was fair in his opinion. Given that an official authoritative party was generous enough to give him this small sense of freedom he wasn't complaining. And not to mention having a friend he could talk with made the trip less unpleasant.

Both left the cafe and continued their sight seeing. He brought the plastic cup up to his lips and savored the taste of the hot liquid in his mouth. No trace of sugar or cream was detected in his taste buds which is just the way he preferred.

"It's such a beautiful morning today." His robotic companion said, smiling wistfully at the clear sky and clouds.

"The forecast said that we will be seeing warm skies until evening. But the weather in the UK can be unpredictable." He shrugged, finding the spring season to be not much of a bother to him. "But you can never know when it comes to mother nature."

Alisa nodded in agreement. "So far I'm not detecting any changes within atmosphere so we should be fine for today. Hopefully theres more to see in London, I can't wait to send Xiaoyu and the others more pictures!"

Jin couldn't help the small grin behind his raised cup, trying to contain his laughter. After the battle with G Corporation Alisa had become very close with not only Xiaoyu but with the two other young girls, Asuka and Lili. The android would always find time chat with her new friends through video chat through the laptop that Yggdrasil provided him with at the hotel. Of course their conversations begin with the pigtailed girl asking if he was alright which would follow with both him and Alisa ensuring that he was. And then their talks would change from how the shopping malls, food, people etc. They would go on for so long that Jin had to tune them out and engross himself in a book.

Though that wouldn't last long whenever the three found the opportunity to tease her about Lars.

Jin's thoughts then shifted to the rebel leader now that he was on his mind. Like him Mishima blood flowed through his veins. One would imagine that he would use his resources as a rebel leader to usurp world governments and take Kazuya's place. But he didn't. He chose to use his own power to oppose him and try to set the world straight again. And then later help him defeat his father. They both held the same blood yet he held no grudge against him. Lars had proven to Jin that their blood doesn't define their fate as Mishima's.

And that his battles didn't have to be fought alone anymore. Everyone who had ensured his victory so that the world could prosper for the future was owed his thanks. If it weren't for any of them he would still believe that someone like him didn't deserve to live.

"Is something wrong Jin?" Alisa asked gently, a concerned frown on her lips.

Jin blinked as Alisa's voice snapped him out of his reflective thoughts. He shook his head to clear his mind and responded. "It's nothing. I was just deep in my own head there."

"Oh? What about?"

"Just... everything that has lead us here." He revealed, tossing the now empty coffee into the nearby trash can that they both strolled by. "And I suppose I'm wondering if I deserve this peace that the world is having right now."

Alisa frowned sorrowfully at the mans words. Even now Jin was still burdening himself with his past actions.

The raven haired man glanced down at his hand and slowly clenched his fist. He focused a minute portion of his ki makimg small streaks of red electricity curl around it, the evident indication of his "cursed" blood.

"The Mishima blood in my veins always compelled those who have it to obtain power no matter what the cost." He explained to her with a deep contemplative look in his eyes. "And for so long I believed that the only way obtain it was through vengeance and hatred if it meant ridding the world of any form malevolence. In a way I did get it but now I see all I've done is spread that hatred onto the rest of the world, and now it's directed at me."

To emphasize his point, Jin glanced at the many pedestrians that would contemptible sneer or glares. His war crimes were world known, no doubt questioning why he was able to roam free after everything he had done.

It saddened the pink haired android to know that even here, Jin was still being viewed as a villainous war criminal nationwide. The world was unaware of his reasons for starting the war, but the antagonism towards him was understandable. She had seen during their relief efforts how many would regard him with disgust and scorn for causing large global chaos.

And despite all that, Jin never disregarded any of the harsh scrutiny he received. He took the brunt of all the blame that was thrown at him and beared the weight of it all.

"However, I learned that power doesn't always have to come from that." Jin said, snapping Alisa out of her thoughts. "As long as I have you, Lars, Xiao, and everyone else in my life, I can have the strength to keep me going so I can right my wrongs."

Alisa saw the resolve and hope rimming behind his usual stoic eyes as he looked ahead of him. Unlike before when they held guilt and hopelessness. It filled her with such relief and elation to see that her friend was willing to carry on.

She smiled earnistly at him. "I'm glad to hear that. Just remember that your friends will be there to help you.""I will." He assured her before turning his attention to her. "Is there anywhere you would like to visit?"

Alisa tapped her chin and hummed. She finally smiled and pointed in the far distance of the city where a large clocktower was located.

"How about we go to the Big Ben! Xiaoyu wanted me to send her some photos!"Jin shrugged in acceptance. Since starting this vacation with Alisa he didn't have much of a strong opinion on what to see and enjoy throughout London. He couldn't deny that he wasn't the most liveliest of travel companions. Years of living a majority of his mid teens and early adult life trying to battle his family made it difficult for him to find enjoyment in the small things in life. But he was willing to try.

The two crossed the street along with the massive crowds of people.

That's when he felt it.

Jin stopped in his tracks, eyes widening like saucers as an oppressive wave of intense power that he was sensing caused him to hold his breath. A single bead sweat ran down his brow as he felt this...immense dark ki nearby.

The raven haired man looked around frantically to find where the source of this malevolent. ki is. His eyes widened in shock once they landed a building top. A lone figure was gazing down specifically at him from the high vantage point. The only thing Jin could make out was a smirk present under the hood of his tattered coat as he kept on walking. A cold chill ran down his spine at the sight of it.

'Who in the world?...'

"Jin!" The sound of Alisa calling him from the other side of the sidewalk and loud honking of cars snapped him back to reality. Looking at his surroundings, the Mishima heir realized that he was standing in the middle of the street impeding the traffic.

Shaking his head Jin briskly walked towards his friend.

"Is everything ok?" She asked with a worried frown. He wasn't the type to space out like that.

Jin rubbed his forehead to stave off the tension that had built up inside him. "I'm fine. I just felt an overwhelming amount of power a second ago."

"What?! Where?!"

He opened his mouth to reply but a loud bang erupted from nowhere prevented him getting a word out. The two nearly jumped out of their skins at the nearby boom which was followed by screaming pedestrians. Quickly gathering their bearings Jin and Alisa immediately rushed towards the source of the commotion.

Trying to push past the scurrying civilians, Jin and Alisa managed to see that massive pieces of debris were raining downward along with shards of glass from the high vantage point of the building that exploded. People and vehicles were trying to avoid being many cars swerved and crashed into nearby buildings and other vehicles. It was utter chaos in the area. Whatever what the cause was could be discussed later. Right now, this pandemonium needed to be quelled.

Already knowing what they had to do Jin turned to Alisa. "Help the people who are trapped in their cars! I'll try to get to the people who are still inside the building!"

The android didn't need to be told twice as she nodded and deployed her rocket thrusters. She sped off towards one of the cars, tearing off the door from its hinges and getting whoever was inside out. Alisa ordered them to get to safety as she moved on to the next.

Not wasting anytime Jin leaped into the air. Black symmetrical markings appeared on his face and his once dark pupils became gold. One ebony and one ivory feathered wings sprouted from his back as the raven haired man took flight. Reaching the top within a second Jin saw that there were still people inside. Unfortunately from what he could see in this office room, a few had perished from falling rubble and even the blast itself.

The sight saddened him but he couldn't he focus on that now. He had to get the rest out as quickly as possible, this floor didn't look like it was going to last for very long.

"There isn't much time! Grab onto me and I'll take you all down to safety!" He exclaimed to the people with his hand outstretched, desperation clear in his face and voice.

They were all reluctant to accept his help considering it was from a winged man. His inhuman voice wasn't helping matters either.

"Hurry!" He pleaded snapping them all back to the reality of their situation.

Three from the crowd stepped towards him. Jin grabbed hold of the two by their waists and the last held on by securing their arms around his neck from behind. Seeing that he had all he could hold for now Jin descended down to street level. He went back to get the rest of the office workers.

The building wasn't going to last much longer, it was only a matter of time before nothing but a pile of rubble in the ground. Thanfully Alisa had managed to the people who were helplessly trapped in their cars in time so he can assist him. Both quickly zipped in and out carrying anybody that they could get their hands on while others were taking the initiative by getting themselves out before the whole structure came toppling down. Whatever was the source of the explosion had to have been exceedingly more powerful than any bomb.

"Are there any more people within the building?!"

Alisa eyes darted over every area of the complex, scanning for signs of life. Her face lit up when she spotted someone. "My bioreadings are detecting one more inside!"

"I'll take care of it, you get the remaining ones out of here!"

The android nodded and took the rest of the civilians to the paramedics that had arrived five minutes ago. The black and white winged man flew towards the nearly collapsing building in a blur and crashed through it.

"Is anyone in here?!" Jin called out in a desperate attempt to get an answer. Sadly he wasn't getting one.

He ran deeper in the floor, still shouting out while searching for the persons whereabouts. Glancing up Jin gritted his teeth in frustration as he could see that it was about to give way as chunks of rock and residual dust gell from the ceiling. Even so, he wasn't willing to give up until he found them.

That's when his ears finally picked up a sound of what sounded like muffled whimpering coming from the corner of the room. Jin quickly ran to the source of it only to find a large pile of rubble that caved in. What caught his eyes was the small boy who was in a huddled position covered in dust. Tears were running down his cheeks and he was shaking with understandable fear.

Not thinking twice, the winged man easily removed the rocks that were preventing the boy from escaping, causing the child to look up at him and back up into the wall behind him with fear stricken eyes.

Seeing this Jin lowered himself to his knee and spoke gently to lessen the child's already growing anxiety. "Don't be afraid. But we can't stay here, this building won't last much longer."

He extended his hand towards the boy and urged him to grab apprehension was evident on his face. It was understandable given that the young child was practically putting his trust into what he was perceiving as a monster. But despite his appearance his eyes held worry but genuine concern for his well being that his fears were slowly alleviating.

The childs hand tentatively reached out for Jin's took hold of it. He gently lifted him up and quickly proceeded to leave the near crumbling building.

"All of that power only for it to be wasted on such weakling like you."

Jin stopped just as he heard the sudden unfamiliar refined voice.

"It's almost difficult to believe that you of all people nearly had the world in the palm of your fragile hand."

He fully turned around to face the one who had spoken. Before him were a male and female office workers who were thankfully alive. However the look of fear on their faces and the dark purple aura that surrounded them destroyed any form relief Jin felt. Though the one who was standing between them is who caught the raven haired mans attention.

It was a tall elderly man who bare upper body was shrouded in a tattered hooded cloak along with worn out red pants along with knee high metal boots. Completing his look were black strap wrappings secured around his left arm.

"Who are you?" Jin firmly demanded with furrowed eyes.

The older man let out an indignant snort and crossed his arms. "Someone who understands the value of power more than a welp like you ever could."

Jin narrowed his golden eyes further at his unanswered question. But then it clicked in his mind as Jin recognized the ki signature.

"You're that man from before."

"Yes." He answered. "To think that I would stand face to face with the second devil himself Jin Kazama."

"What do you want?" He demanded again, not allowing this man to bait him into a confrontation.

"I only merely wanted to observe if the power you wield is something to behold." He said cryptically, raising his head lightly to reveal pupilless eyes swelling with dark purple energy. "And I must say that it is wasted on you."

Hearing enough of this man's demeaning insults, Jin let out a low grunt and tensed fully while flaring his wings. Horns sprouted from his temples, followed by a red diamond like symbol appearing at the center of his head. He didn't know what this man was capable of, but he wasn't going to take any chances. Even if he had to use his full power to fend him off the last two people he had hostage were a massive concern.

More small chunks of rock were already raining down from the ceiling, reminding The Devil Gene Inheritor knew that he had to leave quickly. He glanced down at the child he was holding in his and took note that he was shaking even more fervently than he was before. No doubt witnessing this exchange between them was unsettling him.

Jin couldn't help but grit his teeth in frustration at the situation he was in. If he tried to charge the man head on the boy would no doubtedly be harmed. But if he escaped now the civilians would be killed since they were both in the grip of the mysterious man unexplained power. And if he stayed here any longer the building will collapse on all of them, killing every bystander here.

"A challenging decision, isn't it?" The mysterious man said with a taunting laugh, raising his hand as the dark purple aura enveloping it flailed more wildly. "But it makes me wonder if it was just as difficult to make before when you decided to turn the world into the battleground for your family squabbling."

He darkly laughed before grunting in pain, it then became a growling strain. Jin's eyes furrowed in curiosity as he witnessed him take hold of his bandaged arm. A teal-colored aura now surrounded instead of the purple one from before. He was now wrestling with his arm like he was trying to keep his power under control. Lines of illuminated cracks started to form on the side of his face, like all of the energy inside of him was trying to find a way out.

Soon he roughly wrung his writhing arm dispelling the ki from it. He looked at his wrapped limb with disgruntled glare, even now he wasn't fully whole it seems.

A cruel smirk appeared on his face that made Jin become uneasy more than he was before. He raised his open palm and clenched it. Blood curdling screams of pain rang throughout, making Jin's eyes widen in horror at what he was witnessing. The dark aura that surrounded the man and woman flared more than it did before.

A low sinister chuckle came from the man, crossing his arms. "Enjoy that power while you still have it boy. Because soon it will be in the hands of someone more deserving of it."

With that he created a portal and stepped inside, leaving the raven haired man with the last remaining occupants who were still wailing in excruciating pain. Every fiber within Jin wanted to end their suffering but the ceiling was coming down. He didn't have time to spare anymore.

'If I hurry I can purify whate-'

He couldn't finish that thought as a massive explosion of energy. It covered a wide area to a point where the entire floor was reduced to nothing but dust, making the ceiling finally give way.

Time slowed down in Jin's mind as everything was coming at him within a nanosecond. Steeling himself, he acted by stretching his wings far back as he could. With a single powerful flap, he sent out a huge draft of air that pushed him backwards out of the now falling building. The burst of purple flames comprised of ki stretched out far to a point where they expanded outside of the building where even occupants in the city screamed again from the thundering boom.

A second later the spike followed suit with the crumbling rubble. Jin took a short breath relief that he had managed to narrowly avoid the blast. He felt something tugging on his shirt. Looking down he saw the boy clinging tightly to him in an attempt at feeling secure. Or perhaps he was worried that he might drop him considering that he was shaking.

Either way the worst was finally over.

Jin's face softened and slowly descended towards the ground. "Your safe now."

Cammy hastily swirved her cadillac through the mildly crowded traffic, her face set in a tense grimace. The Delta Red operative had been on her way to report to base. It was a calming drive considering that the war between Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation had finally come to an end along with the latters global tyranny. The rise of crime and senseless riots that erupted within the UK was slowly dying down since the country's economy had been improving throughout the months.

Unfortunately, she knew from experience that peace won't last forever. The explosion Cammy heard in the eastern section of London was audible, even from her position made the blonde immediately rush to the area and aid whoever was hopefully unharmed.

Taking a sharp turn at the next corner, that elicited a screech from her tires the short haired blonde finally arrived at her destination. She could already see the firefighters, police, and the paramedics tending to everyone. A wave of relief came over at the sight but held it down. She needed to see how many were ok.

Exiting out of her car, Cammy briskly strolled up to the first officer she spotted.

"Cammy White, MI6 Delta Red!" She presented her identification to the policeman. "What's the situation here?"

"The top of that building just exploded out of nowhere and thats when all hell broke loose." He answered.

"Do you know the cause and number of casualties?"

"From what we were told a man was responsible. Though the the cause of it is up for debate whether the bloke is telling the truth or not." He tipped his hat over his eyes and sighed with a melancholic frown. "As for the casualties...only two were lost."

Cammy slowly nodded. While the loss of life wasn't huge it still pained her to know that not everyone survived. "Where is this "bloke" you mentioned? Since he was the eyewitness in this."

The policeman amusedly chuckled. "I would say he's more than just an eyewitness. You'll have to see it to believe it once you see him."

She furrowed her eyes curiosly, not understanding what could be so special about this person. The officer motioned for her to follow him, which she did.

Cammy saw that she was surrounded by a multitude of rescue teams tending to the wounded. So far from what the Delta Red operative could no one had suffered from severe injuries. Cammy allowed herself to relax and breathed out a sigh of relief. It was good to know that there were survivors.

She was lead to the location of demolished building. The policeman gestured in front him and what she saw made Cammy halt her feet and her face became stunned at the two individuals she was seeing sitting on the pile of rubble.

One was a petite sized young woman with shoulder length pink hair with a reddish tint and green eyes. She was dressed in a simple light green short sleeved shirt with a pink frilled skirt and heels.

Though she wasn't the one that Cammy was focused one.

No...it was the man sitting beside her.

He was tall, possibly the same as Guile's height. Strong defined facial facial features that was clean shaven. His clothing was simple, a dark leather jacket that had studs on the shoulders with a white shirt underneath. Blue jeans and a pair of black boots.

The most definable trait was his unique raven hair that was spiked backwards with bangs draped over his steely dark eyes.

The blonde womans own eyes quickly became cold and hardened at the sight of him. Cammy walked towards the both of them, the harsh sounds of her red boots making both of them look up at the woman. Her harsh gaze directly zeroed in on him.

"Jin Kazama. I need you to come with me for questioning."

What do you all think of this story? I wanted to take a crack at a Street Fighter and Tekken fic, see if I can make it an interesting read.

Now this isn't a popular opinion but I didn't enjoty Tekken 8 story. The whole MCU and forced shonen style of writing held it back from being good. There were a lot of issues I had with it so I'll list a few.

Jin's arc through out the story was fine on paper but the execution of it was questionable. He got off way to easy with how he ignited a massive world war and none of the characters confront him about it. It just felt like a cheap way for the cast to put him on a pedestal because he's the hero of the story. This leads me to my next criticism.

The power of friendship trope was badly written in this game. Every character just joined Jin's s side because the plot obligated them to do so not because it was build up organically. Characters like Lili should be holding a grudge against him because he used the Mishima Zaibatsus resources to bankrupt her families oil company. This caused her father to fall into depression and make Lili hate Jin but that never comes up. So in reality his "bonds" with the cast honestly felt hollow.

My last criticism is the removal of the Devil Gene. Jin should've kept the power since through out the series he wanted be rid of it because he was afraid of not being able to control it. But now that he can and along with getting a second form what was the point of him acquiring that power from Jun in the first place. In my opinion they should've went the Avatar route where Kazuya was the only one who had his inner devil removed, similar to how Aang took away Ozai's bending.

Thematically it makes sense. Jin hated the devils power because he was afraid of it corrupting him and in the process losing his humanity. But now he accepts it and his desire to protect everyone could keep him from losing himself to his old ways and allowing the devil inside from taking over.

With Street Fighter 6 I don't have much to say. That game doesn't much of a story to critique since most of it is focused through the World Tour mode and nothing of importance of in it. The only interesting in was the social links engangements with other characters and thats really it.

Anyway thats enough of me rambling. As usual positive and negative feedback is always welcome.
