Chapter 2
As Harry made his way out of his room to greet his mom, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease about the Omnitrix. It was like a weight on his wrist, both exhilarating and daunting.
"Hey, Mom," Harry said as he entered the living room, trying to keep his voice steady despite the whirlwind of thoughts in his mind.
His mom turned to him, a warm smile on her face. "Hey, Harry! How was your day?"
His mom, Lily Evans, looked up from where she was unpacking groceries. She was a beautiful woman with thick, dark red hair that fell to her shoulders and almond-shaped, bright green eyes. Her warmth and grace were evident in the way she moved, even in the midst of everyday tasks. Tonight, she was dressed in a comfortable blue sweater and dark jeans, her hair loosely tied back.
Harry hesitated for a moment, debating whether to tell her about the Omnitrix. His mom was always understanding and supportive, but this was different. It was too big, too strange to just blurt out.
"It was good," Harry replied, forcing a smile. "I found something cool at the flea market."
His mom raised an eyebrow, curious. "Oh? What did you find?"
Harry glanced down at the Omnitrix on his wrist , then back at his mom. "Uh, just a toy. It's nothing special."
His mom nodded, accepting his answer with a knowing smile. "Well, as long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters."
Harry felt a pang of guilt at keeping the truth from his mom, but he pushed it aside for now. He needed time to process everything that had happened before he could even begin to explain it to her.
"Thanks, Mom," Harry said, trying to sound grateful. "I think I'm gonna head to bed early tonight. Long day."
His mom nodded understandingly. "Of course, sweetheart. Get some rest."
As Harry retreated to his room, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was keeping secrets from the people he cared about most. But for now, he had to focus on unraveling the mysteries of the Omnitrix and keeping its power safe from those who would misuse it. With a heavy heart, he settled into bed, knowing that his journey was only just beginning.
Lying in bed, Harry stared at the ceiling, the Omnitrix's green hourglass symbol faintly glowing in the dark. The events of the day replayed in his mind, mingling with his thoughts about the Omnitrix.
He reached over to his nightstand and grabbed his laptop. If he was going to figure out what was going on, he needed more information. The Omnitrix had done something he couldn't explain, and he was determined to find answers.
As he booted up his laptop, he continued to browse through forums and fan sites. Despite the excitement of his transformation, there was still a lot he didn't understand. The Omnitrix wasn't just a toy; it was a piece of technology that defied the boundaries of his reality.
He searched for anything that might explain how the Omnitrix could transform him. Most of the sites he visited had information about the fictional Omnitrix from the show—its features, functions, and aliens. But none of it covered the possibility of it being real.
Harry rubbed his eyes in frustration. Maybe he was looking at it the wrong way. If this thing was more than a replica, it could be connected to something beyond ordinary understanding.
Just then, his phone buzzed with another message from Mark. "Hey, Harry. Still up? We should totally hit the comic book store tomorrow. Got something you want to show us?"
Harry hesitated before typing back. "Sure thing. See you tomorrow."
He set his phone aside and went back to his research, but his thoughts kept drifting back to the day's events. The Omnitrix's capabilities were still mind-boggling, and Harry felt a mix of awe and fear. Could he really trust it? What if it malfunctioned or fell into the wrong hands?
A soft knock on his door pulled him out of his thoughts. "Harry, are you alright?" his mom's voice called from the other side.
"Yeah, Mom," Harry replied quickly. "Just doing some research for school."
"Alright, just checking. Remember to get some sleep," she said before the footsteps receded down the hallway.
Harry sighed and closed his laptop. He glanced at the Omnitrix, feeling the weight of his decision. He couldn't keep this a secret forever, but for now, he had to keep it safe and learn more about its powers.
He turned off his lamp and tried to settle into sleep, but the excitement and anxiety about the Omnitrix kept him awake. As he finally drifted off, he couldn't shake the feeling that his life had changed in ways he was only beginning to understand.
Meanwhile, at the house that had once been engulfed in flames, the scene was now quiet, save for the occasional hiss of smoldering embers. Two figures stood near the charred remains. One was a man in his early thirties, still shaken by the recent events. His clothes were singed, and he had a bandage on his arm. Next to him was a detective, a grizzled man in his fifties with a five o'clock shadow, wearing a trench coat and holding a cigar that emitted wisps of smoke.
The man, who had been rescued by XLR8, spoke with a nervous edge in his voice. "I swear, detective, it was like nothing I've ever seen. This blur of speed—one minute the house was burning, and the next, this... this creature was there, putting out the fire like it was nothing."
The detective took a long drag from his cigar, exhaling slowly. "Speedster, huh? Sounds like one of those ridiculous stories you hear in comic books."
The man shook his head. "No, detective. It was real. I saw it with my own eyes. The whole house was ablaze, and this... being just appeared, moving faster than anything I've ever seen. It saved us."
The detective's eyes narrowed. He was skeptical but kept his thoughts to himself. "And what exactly did this... 'speedster' look like?"
The man hesitated, trying to recall the details. "It was like a figure in a blue and green suit. It moved so fast, everything was a blur. But I could see the symbol—it was like an hourglass with a green glow."
The detective took another puff of his cigar, mulling over the description. "Alright, I'll make a note of it. But unless you've got some solid evidence or another witness, it's going to be hard to prove any of this."
The man looked distressed. "I know what I saw. There's more to this than just a fire. Something strange is happening, and it's not just a coincidence."
The detective gave him a weary look. "We'll see. For now, I've got other cases to handle. If you think of anything else, give me a call."
As the detective walked away, the man's gaze lingered on the ruins of the house. He couldn't shake the feeling that the incident was part of something larger, something that was still unfolding.
Back in Harry's room, the green glow of the Omnitrix cast eerie shadows on the walls as he continued to wrestle with his thoughts. He had no idea that his discovery had already started to draw attention. The Omnitrix was not just a relic of a television show; it was a beacon, attracting those who were both curious and dangerous.
As dawn approached, Harry's mind raced with possibilities. He needed answers, and he needed them fast. The weight of the Omnitrix on his wrist was both a reminder of the power he now possessed and a symbol of the responsibility that came with it.
With a renewed sense of determination, Harry resolved to investigate further. Tomorrow, he would go to the comic book store with Mark and the others, but he knew that his journey to understand the Omnitrix and its implications was only beginning. And as the first light of morning filtered into his room, Harry felt a sense of anticipation for the challenges and adventures that lay ahead.
As Harry made his way to meet up with his friends at the comic book store, he was lost in thought about the Omnitrix. The streets were bustling with activity, but his mind was focused on the mysterious device on his wrist.
Turning a corner, he noticed a little girl standing by the sidewalk, her face streaked with tears. Her small frame trembled as she clutched a stuffed animal tightly to her chest. Harry's heart went out to her.
"Hey there," he said gently as he approached. "Are you alright?"
The girl looked up, her bright eyes filled with distress. "My cat," she said between sobs. "He's stuck in that tree."
She pointed towards a nearby tree, where a small, orange tabby cat mewed pitifully from a high branch. The cat's predicament was clearly distressing for the little girl, and Harry could see that she was too upset to climb up and rescue it herself.
Harry glanced up at the cat, then back at the girl. "Don't worry, I'll help get your cat down."
The girl's face brightened slightly as she nodded, though her worry was still evident. Harry took a deep breath and assessed the situation. The tree was sturdy, but the branch where the cat was perched was too high for him to reach without climbing.
"Can you tell me your name?" Harry asked as he approached the base of the tree.
"Emma," she replied, her voice trembling.
"Alright, Emma. Stay right here, and I'll see what I can do."
Harry found a sturdy-looking branch a few feet below the one where the cat was stuck. With careful movements, he began to climb, using the tree's natural holds to make his way up. The Omnitrix's weight on his wrist felt oddly reassuring as he ascended.
He finally reached the branch where the cat was, and it looked at him with wide, frightened eyes. "Hey, little guy," Harry said softly, trying to calm the cat down. He gently reached out and coaxed the cat to come closer. The tabby hesitated, but Harry's soothing voice seemed to help.
With a bit of patience, Harry managed to grab the cat and carefully lower it into his arms. The cat meowed in relief, and Harry carefully descended back to the ground.
As he reached the bottom, Emma ran up to him, her eyes wide with gratitude. "You got him! Thank you so much!"
Harry handed the cat back to her, and Emma hugged the feline tightly, her face lighting up with happiness. "You're welcome," Harry said with a smile. "Just glad I could help."
Emma beamed at him. "You're a hero! I'm really grateful."
Harry's smile widened, feeling a warm sense of satisfaction from helping someone in need. "It was no trouble at all. Just keep an eye on your cat from now on."
Emma nodded eagerly. "I will! Thanks again!"
As Harry waved goodbye and continued on his way, he felt a renewed sense of purpose. The Omnitrix was still a huge mystery, but moments like these reminded him of the good he could do with its power. He reached the comic book store, ready to meet his friends and perhaps distract himself from the whirlwind of thoughts about his new responsibility.
Note : Here is Chapter 2 of Harry 10 and it seem Harry is at a bind with whether should he revealed that he has the omnitrix to his mom and his friends. Please ease up on asking for updates as that annoying as hell. I wonder should create some oc alien forms for Harry's Omnitrix.
