Eda catches Luz as she slumps into unconsciousness against her, blood still pouring from her arm. "Crap crap crap! Hooty, grab the healer's kit!" Eda shouts while tearing off a part of her dress and tying it around Luz's injured arm to stem the bleeding.

After securing her makeshift tourniquet she spins a spells circle to cast a healing spell. Instead of feeling the feedback of Luz's vitals from her spell though, she feels a dull pain in her bile sac as the spell circle fractures and flickers out. "Hooty!" She yells again as her panic rises, without magic she'd have to wing it.

Hooty extends himself down the stairs carrying a human first aid kit in his beak and deposits it on Eda's lap, thankfully without any additional commentary.

Though before Eda can open it, Luz wakes up and sits upright. She looks around, confused but not disoriented. Apparently not suffering any further I'll effects from blood loss that a typical witch would face. "Luz, please hold still, you're still injured." Eda puts a hand on Luz's shoulder. Drawing Luz's attention back to her injured arm for a moment before she looks back to Eda. A horrified expression forms on her face and she jumps up from the couch before bolting past Hooty and up the stairs. "Please don't come near me!" She shouts as she slams the door to her room.

Eda grabs the first aid kit and runs after Luz, despite the kid's request, she isn't leaving her alone with a major injury, especially not after she passed out from said injury.

She comes to a stop at Luz's door, thankful she hadn't installed a lock yet. However as she tries to open the door, the handle feels cold as ice and doesn't turn. She tries ramming the door with her body but the door still won't budge and ice creeps in around its edges. With no magic to fight Luz's she won't be able to get in without help. "Hooty! Open this door!" She shouts frantically as she tries to ram the door again.

"No can do hoot hoot. She asked for some alone time." Hooty responds extremely unhelpfully.

Shooting Hooty a death glare she tries to come up with a new plan. She can't break down the door and Luz probably won't let her come near if she asks nicely. But then who- Luz's friends!

Amity had been scrolling through penstagram, trying to piece together the day's events, when she received a frantic crystal ball call from the Owl Lady. Luz had been hurt during the petrification ceremony and they needed her help. She didn't need to be told twice and immediately began making her way over to the Owl House. Escaping Blight Manor with a broken leg had been a challenge, but it was nothing she wouldn't do for Luz. Maybe she should've asked for more details from the Owl Lady, though from various penstagram posts by coven members and attendees of the petrification ceremony, it hadn't been hard to form a timeline of events and why she was needed. If she ever saw Lilith again, she was going to make sure she'd live to regret it.

As she approaches the front door of the Owl House on her crutches, the owl tube thing, which is apparently the resident house demon, thankfully keeps quiet.

She knocks on the door and the Owl Lady opens it a moment later. "Amity, thank Titan you're here. Luz has barricaded herself in her room and won't let us in." She steps aside and ushers Amity inside.

She doesn't get much further than the doorstep though as none other than the person responsible for hurting Luz is walking down the stairs. "Amity! It's goOAA-" Lilith tries to say, but she is cut short as as Amity summons some abomination matter directly in front of her feet and makes her trip down the stairs.

Not giving her a chance to respond Amity summons more abomination goo and makes it hit Lilith sideways while she's falling down the stairs and smashes her right into a wall, where she remains hanging upside down. Lilith tries to say something but she's cut off by Amity. "With this spell declared, let your tongue be snared, for help me Titan, if you try any more of your lies I will use it as an abomination ingredient." She threatens as she bares her fangs. "Ms. Clawthorne, please watch your sister, I'm going to Luz." She continues to the stairs and slowly climbs the stairs, careful not to bump her broken leg.

Locating Luz's room isn't difficult to locate, her signature ice glyphs giving it away as the door is frozen shut along the entire frame. She decides to knock on the door first. "Luz? Are you in there?" She waits a few seconds, no response. "I'm coming in!" She draws another spell circle and summons an abomination. "Abomination, remove." She steps aside and the abomination approaches the door. It grabs the sides of the doors and breaks through the ice, ripping the door right off its hinges.

It is dark in Luz's room and even behind the doorway the entrance was partially obscured by ice. "Luz?" She calls out again, and but still receives no response. "Abomination, clear." The abomination sets aside the door and punches its way through the ice, allowing Amity to hobble into the room.

Letting her eyes adjust she scans the room. Behind a few boxes, she spots a figure huddled against the far wall. "Luz?"

"I-I don't know." Luz whispers back in response.

"What do you mean?" Amity inquires concerned.

"I mean, I'm an abomination, Amity." Luz says as she turns herself away from Amity.

Amity is confused by that statement for a moment before remembering what humans mean by abomination. Realizing what might be going through Luz's mind right now, she tries to comfort her. "Luz I don't know what's going on with you, but you're not an abomination. You're sweet and kind, and you're not responsible for what happened." Amity slowly approaches Luz.

"No you don't understand, I don't know if I-I'm… me…" Luz said despairingly. "I could be a sleeper agent for Belos. The perfect replacement, and nobody suspects a thing. Iknewour escape seemed too good to be true." She looks up at Amity. "Please don't let me hurt anyone." She pleads.

Cautioned by her words, Amity spins a spell circle and feels the magic on the girl in front of her. She doesn't find any hint of abomination magic though, only the faint traces of her biggest mistake, an unbreakable oath sealed and unsealed by her own magic.

She lets the spell circle dissolve and moves next to Luz, who looks at her expectantly. Putting aside her crutches, she uses the wall to sit down. "Luz, you're not an abomination." She casts another spell, lighting up the embers of the oath on their wrists. "I don't know why you thought you were one, but there is no trace of abomination magic on you. You're the same wonderful girl who tried to comfort me during the Covention, even when I threatened to stop her from following her dreams."

Luz sits straight and lifts her arm to her face, furrowing her brows for a moment as stares at her wrist. "But then-" Her eyes go wide. "Papa…" She whispers just loud enough for Amity to hear. Though Amity's attention is drawn elsewhere as the dim light from the spell lets her get a better look at Luz and herveryblood-covered arm.

"Luz, your arm! You're still hurt." Amity exclaims wide-eyed.

"Oh," Luz winces "sorry." She says meekly and she shows her arm. "I don't know if you can help though."

As Amity finally gets a clear look at Luz's injury, she doesn't entirely understand what she's seeing. Metal and tubes lay exposed inside Luz's arm, it reminds her of her father's new abominations. Is this why he was so interested in books on the human realm?

"I know a little healing magic from my grudgby days, I can try to close the wound." She explains and she casts a healing spell.

"But Amity I'm a-" The bleeding stops. "...robot…" Amity dispels her spell circle as the wound finishes healing, only leaving behind a metallic-looking scar.

Satisfied with her amature mend she turns her attention back to Luz. "Luz, what's a robot?"

Luz looks at her a little surprised, as if she wasn't expecting the question but she answers nonetheless. "A ro-robot is a human machine, built to do tasks for humans, k-kind of like an abomination." Luz takes a shaky breath. "I'm an android, a robot made to imitate a h-human." She trails off in a whimper.

Amity shifts and hugs Luz.

"Please don't tell Eda." Luz says quietly.

Amity hugs her tighter. "Alright."
