Adam and Alanna knew they had little to no time to deal with Speechmaker and his 'children'.

"Just tell us where the King is and we'll be on our way."

"No need to do that my love," Speechmaker says as he caresses a child "not when you're right where you need to be."

A fight ensues and Alanna feels uncomfortable fighting the children while Adam struggles to comfortably fight them. Aside from clearly being mentally and physically linked, the Children of the White Lobe are clearly skilled as hand-to-hand combatants.

Alanna deals with the children but is clearly being led away from Adam. Adam however is fighting to get closer to Speechmaker, possibly to end his life.

The amount of Children in this clearing on the ship are probably 20 but they fight so well, the number felt higher.

As Adam is finally able to lay his hands on Speechmaker, Adam takes out a gun. However it is not a normal gun. Suddenly the fighting stops as well.

"Is that a Rannian Blaster '58?" a familiar voice creeps up on everyone.

King Nol stands before everyone, the Children immediately gets down and genuflect as excited to what is about to happen.

"Do you know why that was considered a useless weapon?" King Nol continues.

"Because it morphs to the needs to the user." Adam says.

"And Rannians don't see the need for a gun not to be a gun." King Nol claps "This man knows his stuff."

"My son finally conquers his first world and you intend to kill me," the King starts undressing "what good will that do Rann now? What good will that do to your planet when my son comes to your planet and destroys what's left of it."

"My king!" Speechmaker says while still in Adam's clutches.

Adam shoots Speechmaker in the head and the children collectively breathe a sigh of relief.

"You know," the King looked slightly disappointed around himself "We had plans to go to Earth a long time ago but back then, there was nothing there for us. Now it looks like we're going back for revenge."

Adam shoots the King Nol in the chest and the King dies instantly.

Alanna tries to run back to Adam but is stopped by the children near her. Adam is concerned, raises the gun but the other children stop Adam by multiple children talking at the same time and about different things.

"This is only the start of your story."

"Vath will see you soon."

"Sardath is disabling the zeta-beam."

"Prince Ragnar will not forgive you."

"Thank you."

"Find the other heroes and return to us"

"King Nol and Prince Ragnar intended to invade Earth immediately but you have delayed them both."

"We will take care of Alanna."

"Sardath is at peace."

Adam notices that everyone has slowly backed away from Adam but before he can say anything a familiar feeling of vibrating at an uncontrollable rate comes over Adam. Adam knows he's being teleported away.

Adam lands back on Earth, in the middle of Gotham City. Adam had caused a bit of a pile up but luckily nobody had been hurt, though Major Crimes Unit was not impressed with the situation and detained Adam directly.

Adam was disoriented and kept speaking a strange language the officers couldn't understand.

Once Adam was locked up in a MCU cell, stripped of his clothes and given suitable attire: the Head of the MCU came down to interrogate him personally.

"Hi Adam. My name is Captain Gordon and I'm here to." the captain was cut off.

"Get me Batman or the Justice League," screams Adam "now!"

"I think you need to calm down, Mr. Strange."

"I've been calm," Adam sits forward with his hands cuffed behind him "we need to rush back to Alanna."

"You've been speaking gibberish for a couple of hours."

"That's just Rannian, not a bad any other language."

"Let's talk about there," Captain puts a few papers on the desk "where is Ran?"

"No," Adam starts screaming again "we need to get the Justice League down here, now!"

"That won't be possible." the Captain sits back in his chair.

"Why is that?" Adam calms a bit.

Captain Gordon reaches into his coat jacket that was hanging on the chair he was sitting on and pulls out a newspaper clipping.

"The Justice League was destroyed five years ago."

"But that can't be," Adam says while he reads what words are left on the paper "I only went to Rann a few days ago. I wasn't gone that long!"

"I should know, my daughter started and finished her studies in that time," Captain gets up and puts his coat on "are you telling me that didn't happen?"

Adam looks at the paper completely lost in thought.
