"Hey you…I've been thinking and….do you wanna dance with me?"

Vax looked at Keyleth for a split second before turning his head back around to look up at the sky, where just a moment he had seen the silhouette of the figure that had been hunting his visions, but now all that was there was the sight of the silent calm full moon.

Breathing in he turned his head back towards Keyleth, she seemed nervous and was slightly fidgeting, tapping her feet silently on the ground, waiting for his response. He took in her green eyes, her adorable smile, everything he had fallen in love with.

He wanted to reject her, politely of course. He wasn't feeling good, he had no answers, only uncertainty about the creature that kept appearing in his visions, it haunted him.

And yet as he kept looking at Kiki, he couldn't resist. The awkwardness that seemed to permeate ever since his sudden confession in Whitestone was as good as gone. Replaced with only a longing.

So instead of declining, instead of worrying about his visions, he reached out a hand and said.

"I would love to…"

Keyleth's nervous chuckle turned into a smile and she took his hand as he led her patiently towards the dancefloor, where everyone was dancing around to the tune of Scanlan's performance.

Vax pulled her close, placing one hand around her waist and holding her hand with the other. Simultaneously Keyleth had her hands on his shoulders and they started to slow dance.

While the music wasn't fitting for their dance, it didn't matter to the pair as they just seemed to lost in their own little world to care. Captivated, dancing elegantly, slowly step by step as they kept looking into each other's eyes.

"You look so beautiful Kiki" Vax said.

Keyleth just blushed bright red, mumbling a soft "thank you…" as they continued to dance away. Almost as if they where locked into a trance and couldn't keep away from one another. The whole world seemed to just go away for a moment, and they were all that remained.

They came closer to each other, Vax holding on tightly to her, feeling the warmth of her body, his worried alleviated and his sorrows gone. All that seemed to matter now was her, and the feelings he had for her.

Their heads came closer together, drawn together as if by a force until their lips connected into a soft, sweet but passionate kiss.

A/N: Just something short and sweet I wanted to write because I'm in love with this couple.
