Hey! How's it going? It's time to introduce our characters! Starting off with (drumroll) ßø- ßøß- ßøßæö- fuck. Starting off with ßøßæök!
ßøßæök Aleator:
he's a halfling rouge
He's A Gambler who is in the 99% who havent won big yet, it is coming soon though, and he is pushing through. After losing it all in Laz Frekinzs, he has been doing whatever he could to earn money, just so happens assasination aint too shabby, as there are always jobs and it pays well, so he hopes to someday return back to Frekinzs and win it big!
He usually tries to stick to assasin work, but the payment was large enough to convince him to take this job.
well thats his backstory... also he like doing backflips a lot for some reason- Time for the next character!
You don't know him you probably won't love him (the npcs sure don't) it's Raja!
Raja:
He is a serpentinal ranger (serpentinal are snake people that i made as a homebrew race for this)
Growing up in a constantly moving nomad family, all Raja wished for was order. When war came he saw the oppurtunity and ran away from home to join the army. A good soldier, who always helped his comrades and helped achieve decisive victories, he was promoted eventually to colonel. In the final battle of a small war he helped rescue many prisoners of war to come back to the battle field. Were it not for his efforts the casualties in the battle would be greatly increased. After the war ended he settled down and started a family. Though, settling down doesn't mean he didn't stop fighting. In fact his new line of work was going on missions for the government to help keep them from getting into war again. Now he sits in his house, waiting for the opportunity to serve again.
And he is serving again now that he has been hired to escort one of coryeous's princes.
he never like asked me anything before writing his backstory so i had to change some stuff but otherwise just pretend like he referred to multiple governments in the last part.
he seems to have quite the temper (foreshadowing eyebrow wiggle) 4 days later pov, he blames it on being a little loopy because he took painkillers earlier, im just glad to have anymore individuality with their characters
Next up is, the one, the only, Morrcuus!
Morrcuus:
he's a human fighter (original, i know)
he never write down his backstory so I'm going to do my best to piece it together
From a young age he was forced into gladiatorial fighting and he never really learned who he was or how to be his own person, just doing as told time and time again. Until when the country he was in was facing economic and political failure, seeing the opportunity, the gladiators rose in rebellion Morrcuus getting swept up into it. The rebels succeeded and were free, still not knowing much about what he should do he just went back to what he knew, following orders and getting paid.
Eventually it led him to here with a job escorting a prince of coryeous.
and now this guy, its uh what was the name-? Obterix!
Obterix:
dragonborn barbarian (I don't think I've seen one of those before)
he didn't write a backstory *sighs* And he made himself 8'4" for no fucking reason. *sobs uncontrollably* the max natural height is like 7'0"!
Whatever at least he chose a background. Hes a folk hero for some reason
I should've just stopped to check over his character before running the adventure since he kinda just hopped on and wanted to join.
Whatever, It doesn't matter! Time for important character.
and finally, Prince Donnagan!
the prince:
he's an npc
sayerfulk bard (also another one of my hombrew races)
i didn't write down his backstory but i know it.
this is from his perspective btw although put into english or common i guess, they kinda just like use sign language but I haven't really thought of what their written language is like yet.
Being one of the princes of a nation in hardship can be difficult to say the least. For one, you have impossible standards imposed onto you and every failure no matter how minute and insignificant is treated as a transgression worthy of disownment! I can't afford to mess this up too. In three days time I will make the perilous journey across the Aquatious Trench (thats what the drawdown sea is called when it's dry btw) assisted by the mercenaries we have hired to get to a meeting in Grethina. We will pick up Prince Monira in Aquidion. This meeting could very well shape the entire future of this world. If the alliance deal is successful we will surely be protected from the federation, although dealing with those dreadful cultists plauging Grethina and it's continent will be no easy task. If the deal is not successful I am quite sure we are all doomed.
If this is my last entry I am sure you can guess what happened.
-Tesrel Donnagan
well that was fun i hope it all works out because if it doesn't this world might be on a one way track to being a grimdark world and it'll get there pretty fast.
just adding this now like three days later. Ima be real if this adventure goes badly this guy's head will end up rolling.
thats pretty much it i wont know because the me that is writing this is technically no longer a thing since time has passed and my brain has changed. my last words forever immortalized on this page, but other than that, that is pretty much it. He'll see you when the next chapter is posted!
