As Coby stepped into the room, the sight before him was astounding. A creature; obviously alien, was rummaging through a container, looking for something. An aurora around it swirled between light blue, dark blue, and other shades of blue. It didn't seem to have any limbs, and looked more like an overinflated slug than anything. Spikes lined his back, ending in a triangular tail that made the creature look like a teardrop laying on it's side. Coby was terrified, yes, but his horror was subdued by the fact that the creature was barely threataning. The creature looked less like any aliens that he'd ever seen and more like a sentient, oversized Squishmallow than anything.

He seemed to have this weird metal collar around his "neck" two metal rods petruding from the sides. The rods connected to joints that connected to two more rods and seemed to be metal, fake arms. Coby crept closer, quiet as a mouse in the night, to get a better look. The items inside the chest were filled with many colors, some of them even glowing. Suddenly, he found an item, It seemed to be similarly shaped as a wrench would. The creature looked up and saw Coby.

They both shrieked.

Before Coby could think, or even say something, the creature had already picked up an extension cord and started spinning it like a lasso. Coby desperately tried to think up a plan, but he was already insnared.

"What the hell are you doing in my room?!" the creature yelled."

Coby responded with, "I-I don't know... I mean, I f-followed a man into here-"

Damien let out a big sigh. "Look, kid forget this ever happened. Now, where do your parents live, I need to take you home."

"I d-don't have any."

"..."

Damien let out a bigger, more forced sigh. "Of all the people I could have ran into..."

Coby defensively said, "I can take care of myself!"

"Kid, you just got tangled in an extension cord. I think you need more help than you think. You can't fend for you self that easily up there, and definitely not down here. You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into.

"Guess there's no hiding it now. Name's Damien."

Coby repeated the name, a bit confused at this. "Damien?"

"What, there an echo in here or something?"

"...My name's Coby."

"Well, Coby, I guess you're my problem now. It's not like I can just let you go. Couldn't imagine leaving you and someone might kidnap you with a worse intent than I do."
