Chapter Three: Fallen Order.

A few months after Cere escaped, Cal was summoned to the main training room of Fortress Inquisitorius. There he found Darth Vader waiting for him, arms crossed. Over in the corner was eighth Sister, Trilla. Someone Cal had gotten...close to over these last few years.

Both of them trusted one another. Some of the others were scornful of this bond, but not Vader or the Grand Inquisitor. Despite being rivals, the two dark side men both agreed that the bond was quite powerful and unique.

It was not a bond between master and apprentice, nor a bond between parents and children. It wasn't even a sibling like bond. Rather it was something else entirely, although whatever it was, they couldn't tell.

And so Cal and Trilla trained, meditated and conducted missions together. Spending almost every hour with the other (except when they went to sleep in their separate quarters of course) Apart they were strong, but together, they were unstoppable.

Vader had recently called them into his private office at the Inquisitorius Headquarters in order to give them a secret mission, one handed down from the Emperor himself.

"-Your records will be sealed and altered, meaning not even a planetary governor will be able to access them. If any rebels or non imperials do in fact check your credentials, they will see you are merely a worker of the scrappers guild, nothing more, nothing less. Any Emperial forces that cross your path you must eliminate, they will think you are truly a Jedi, so they will not hold back, neither must you in turn." Vader told Cal.

"I understand my Lord." Cal replied, head still bowed. The plan was a good one, although it would take some real cunning on his part.

"You must cut yourself off from the darkness, only using the light. I know this will be difficult, given what you have learnt. But the greatest challenges always reap greater rewards. Eighth Sister, as we discussed." Vader gestured for Trilla to approach.

Trilla walked forwards and stood next to Vader, her arms held behind her back. She was wearing her traditional helmet, one that struck fear into the hearts of any rebels that dare invoke her wrath.

For Cal though, it just made her look more endearing.

"Eighth Sister will be the one 'looking' for you, she will also battle and chase you anywhere you go, keeping up the ruse we have planned. This will add to your credibility." The sith Lord explained.

"When do I reveal myself?" Cal asked, the thought coming to mind.

"After three years have passed you will have multiple opportunities to reveal yourself as a force user, act on your own discretion, but make sure you are seen. We wish for the rebellion to know about you, they must find it urgent to approach and recruit you" Vader replied.

"As you wish my lord..." Cal acknowledged. Understanding his role. He was to be a spy, an agent within their enemies walls. He would not fail.

"Rise Cal Kestis, Jedi."

The young man did so, chuckling softly to himself. "Haven't heard that in a few years"

Vader was not often amused by his Inquisitors, as he saw most of them as beneath him. Yes they were fellow dark siders, but they were not true sith, they were tools. Only a rare few stood out and garnered his attention, Cal Kestis being one of them.

The boy did not seek power, he did not cut corners, he always held responsibility and never pushed the blame on any others. Also, he was the only padawan to kill his master before becoming an inquisitor.

Vader had interviewed the clones that had witnessed the incident, and found himself respecting Cal.

He had seen first hand what fear had done to the Jedi, and thus refused to give in. He saved many Clone's lives at personal cost. Why? Because they did not deserve to die for following orders. Cal knew that Order 66 must have been issued for a reason, and instead of just reacting, he had calmly thought it through.

It was refreshing to know that Vader had not been the only one to see through the lies of the Jedi, to notice their ambition and how they had lost their way.

"You will leave in a week, One of my 501st sergeants will escort you to the transport station on Coruscant, from there you will find your own way to Bracca."

It had been a long few years, and Cal missed his friends and 'siblings'. He had made a few contacts and connections with people of 'the bad crowd'. Imperial haters, rebel synthesisers, smugglers and even members of the criminal underworld.

He pretended to get close to one or two people, so as to keep up his cover. But finally, the time had come to reveal his power.

And so he sprung out the bait, saving one of his 'friends' from dying just as an Emperial probe droid was patrolling the area. If only Prauf was more of a loyalist and didn't run his mouth so much, then Cal would probably have truly enjoyed his company.

"Don't tell anyone what you saw, okay?" Cal told Prauf after saving him, putting on an incredibly convincing facade of fear and sadness.

The poor alien was amazed and in awe, instantly agreeing. Which honestly made the undercover inquisitor a little bit angry.

That's all it took? A look full of plea?

It made Cal feel sick. The Jedi held such a reputation, that even after all these years people would prefer the 'good old days' rather than true security and freedom. Did nobody remember the corruption, the stench of the senate and the hypocrisy of the Jedi? No, they're eyes are blinded by nostalgia and rebel propaganda.

The infection is spread so deep in the galaxy, and it was up to the empire to tear it out and cleanse it.

Hopefully, once Cal has gotten an in with the rebel alliance and Jedi resistance. Then he too can re-join the fight against terrorism and disorder. Putting down the carries of the virus and stopping the infection.

Cere Junda was happy.

After all these years, another Jedi had been revealed. Yes it was unfortunate that they are being hunted by the empire but now Cere could convince this person to finish her mission for her.

They were her only hope, as she had lost faith in herself and in Trilla. She wouldn't dare open herself back up to the force, it was too risky and too painful.

Yes, this new Jedi would have to be the one to gain the trust of her masters old droid and discover the secrets of the ancient tombs, that way they could rebuild the Jedi Order and take the fight to the empire!

It must be the will of the force.

And so she walked into the cockpit and told Greez to set their next destination for Bracca.

Vader's comm went of, signalling that he was being commed by one of his officers. Upon recognising the number, he accepted the call and answered. "Commander Holloway." He greeted.

"Lord Vader, a force user has been spotted by one of our patrol units on Bracca. The local garrison is calling for assistance from the Inquisitorius!" An officer reported to the dark lord. He was a short and bald man with several facial scars, he was one of the many loyal officers entrusted to work among the command crew of fort Inquisitorius.

"Summon second sister and ninth sister and send them to my office immediately." The sith ordered.

"Yes lord Vader." The officer replied, bowing before cutting off the holographic connection.

'So the end of the rebellion begins'. Vader thought, placing the data pad on his desk before turning to look outside the window at the vast ocean.

After taking a "rest" on the hover train. (He was awake the whole time, waiting for the inevitable imperial check-up to occur. That way he could "escape" again and then possibly get in contact with Cere or the rebellion.) Cal got up and rubbed his eyes, ignoring the darkness that called to him.

'Not yet' he reminded himself. He needed to stay in the light, that way the mission would be successful and the ruse would remain airtight.

And so he put on a face of fear before quickly hiding it, that way if any rebel sympathisers were watching they would report that he was scared of the empire. In obvious need of help.

Thankfully he didn't recognise the signatures of the Purge troopers. Which means Trilla hadn't bought his boys. 'she kept her promise.'

He had made her swear not to involve his men for this mission, that way he wouldn't be forced to hurt or kill them. Like His former master had.

Prauf nudged him, muttering for Cal to get up and quickly. "It's probably another contraband inspection." He told him.

Cal nodded. He knew it wasn't, but of course his companion didn't. He wasn't gifted with the Force.

The two were guided out by two imperial stormtroopers and past a Crimson visored Purge trooper onto a landing platform.

They usually just go past here on the train journey home, but today it had stopped there.

The sound of a Tri engined craft filled the air, causing Cal to almost smirk. He recognised the sound, he always did. It was a customised Tie interceptor, one he had helped put together.

He used his training to bury those feelings and keep his face slightly scared. He couldn't slip up, not now.

Out hopped the black suited figure of Second Sister, who landed perfectly, her cape fluttering in the wind.

"Is this all of them?" she asked one of the Purge troopers, who nodded before replying: "Yes, second sister."

Cal almost blinked at that, breaking his cover. It was a surprise to be sure, but not an unwelcome one. It seemed she had been busy while he was away. Very busy.

"We seek a dangerous fugitive." Trilla stated, looking up and down the line, her eyes remaining on Cal under the helmet. (Not that anyone could know that)

"This is no common anarchist, but a devotee of the treasonous Jedi Order." She continued, putting her arms behind her back as she spoke.

A growl broke Cal from his thoughts, Oh, right. Ninth sister was here too. It Seemed she hadn't progressed at all. Shame.

Well if anyone could keep the big lug under control, it would be Trilla.

"failure to turn over this traitor will result in a charge of sedition." Trilla continued.

"Turn yourself in, or everyone present shall face summary execution."

It was right there and then that Cal was going to reveal himself, igniting his hidden lightsaber before escaping the two Inquisitors and going on the run after a half hearted duel.

Unfortunately, the bumbling and self righteous idiot that was Prauf decided to destroy those plans by walking forward.

So Cal stayed still, confused but unsure what to do now.

"I think its time someone came forward." The male Abednedo stated, causing Cal to feel annoyance towards him. Was Prauf seriously going to try and start something now of all times?

"I've been working on this heap a long time, way before the war. We refit and rebuilt ships, best in the galaxy. But then the empire came, and engineers became scrappers. And the workers started getting worked"

"Prauf" Cal warned, trying to get him to shut up. He didn't want to have to kill him, or get anyone else killed because of his treasonous words. If only the stupid idiot would just shut his mouth.

Bu,t he, kept, on, going.

"We all know the truth, we're just too afraid to say it." Prauf continued.

And so Cal looked to Trilla and gave a small nod, giving her the silent order to kill Prauf. His use had come to an end, and he needed to be made an example of. Especially after his rant. "To the empire, we're all just expendable."

Trilla walked forwards and put her saber's igniter to the man's chest before flicking the button, spearing him through and killing him instantly. "Yes, you are." She added coldly.

Seeing a new opportunity, Cal pulled out his hidden lightsaber and yelled, running forward to clash his lightsaber against her own.

And Like he predicted, she extended her second blade, stopping his swipe at her.

"Look at this, a lightsaber." Trilla stated coyly, she then used the force and sent him flying backwards. Allowing ninth sister to catch him.

"I found the Jedi!" The Female Dowutin chuckled, She now held him in her powerful grip, shaking him like he was a soft toy before dangling him over the landing pad edge.

She'd pay for that later, when he got back off the mission. Even though the higher ranking Inquisitors treated each other like family, there were still a few rivalries.

You had to earn your way after all, as is the way of the dark side.

Like planned, another train appeared below him. Allowing him to escape.

So Cal stabbed her arm, causing her to drop him off the platform...

I am very sick but trying my best to write what I can, sorry for the wait. Please bear with me.
