Chapter 3: Clueless and Unmotivated. (1/3)

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The son of... Someone released a battle cry as he ran inside of the Ca' d'Oro to confront Pandora's pet. With his scythe at hand and a deep fury inside his heart, Zachariah Roosevelt prepared to slay the Ethiopian Sea Monster.

It didn't take long for him to reach the interior of the building, which was overflowed with water almost reaching his knees. However, right in front of him, there was the annoying creature that belonged to that mad woman that hurt his brother. With it's giant head sticking out of a hole that it made on the wall.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The moment it saw Zach, it let out a loud roar of pure fury.

"Cai dentro, bicho feio!" Zach yelled as got into a fighting stance.

"RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" The Cetus charged at Zachariah at full speed to try to eat him. Only for Zachatiah to jump and evade it's mouth, before he performed a front flip while simultaneously swinging his scythe downward. Stabbing the blade into the Sea Monster's eye, the same eye that Zach punched earlier. "RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

Once his blade was deep into it's eye, the Cetus roared loudly in pain and began to wiggle it's head all over the place to get Zachariah off of it. Colliding with the walls and ceiling, which caused the already damaged building to fall apart even more. Until it eventually removed it's head from the role which it used to enter, practically taking Zachariah outside. Where he took the opportunity and pulled his scythe off it's eye and somersault backwards to get off the Cetus's head.

Landing on top of the roof of Ca' d'Oro. Zach then observed the creature with a deep frown in his face. The Sea Monster simply turned it's head to look at him, with the wound in it's eye looking much worse now simply Zach cut it a little more when he pulled the scythe off of it. Before it began to hiss, with drool and flames coming out of it's mouth. However, the flames went straight into Zach's direction, forcing him to run to the right to avoid it.

Running as quickly as he could as strong flames began to engulf the roof of Ca' d'Oro. The Cetus then went underwater after setting the roof on fire, with Zach quickly making his way to the edge of the building in order to jump to another one. However, this was exactly what the Cetus wanted as it emerged itself from the water to get Zach from below, only for him to smirk in response, because it was obvious that it was going to do that.

So while in mid-air, Zachariah drew his revolver and shot the Cetus's other eye. "RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" The sea monster delivered another loud roar as the tiny projectile pierced through it's yellow reptilian eye. However, while it's mouth was wide open with the roar, Zach placed his revolver back on the holster and held the bottom of his scythe and rotated in the air, causing the blade to go through it's cheek. With Zach using all of his way to descend down, practically fish-hooking the Cetus, with the blade cutting through the side it's mouth all the way down to where his neck supposedly was. "RRRRRRRRAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

It began to fall back into the water once again, forcing Zachariah to yank his syth off of it and somersault backwards once again. Only managing to avoid falling into the water, because he turned the scythe into a spear and stabbed a wall with it. Holding on to it tightly as the Cetus fell once again into the water, causing a huge splash of water. Soaking Zachariah completely again. "Rapadura é doce mas não é mole não..." He said out loud while making a very annoyed face because he was tired of getting wet.

Then he performed a giant swing and mounted on top of the snatch. While on his feet on top of his weapon, Zach watched the water, awaiting for the Cetus to emerge once again.

...

...

...

...

...

...

After a minute, nothing happened, so Zach looked down on the water. "Ué?"

"Faça elevar," His voice was low and weak. "O cosmo no seu coração," All that he could do was sing as it was the only thing that could keep him from freaking out. "Todo o mal combater" Despite the fact that it was beyond stupid. "Despertar o poder"

Zachariah Roosevelt was hugging his knees while sitting on the floor. "Sua constelação" That was something that he often did when he was very upset.
"Sempre irá te proteger" And right now, he was extremely upset. "Supera a dor e dá forças pra lutar."

"Pegasus Fantasy, desejos a realizar." He was singing the song the helped him pick the name of his pet Pegasus. "Pois as asas de um coração sonhador ninguém irá roubar."

Suddenly, a pair of hands reached out to him and touched his head. Moving it up, he saw that it was Silena. It was almost daylight already, and it has been almost an hours since their confrontation with Pandora, Epimetheus and the Cetus Aethiopicus. The Daughter of Aphrodite searched around in fear. "What happened to the-'' Before she could finish her question.

"Luke!" Because Zachariah wanted to know what happened.. "How is Luke?!" The boy desperately asked as he was afraid to go back to see for himself.

"He's going to be okay, but we need to get back to the camp." Fortunately, Silena gave him good news. Causing the boy to sigh in relief because he was nearly desperate to know if Luke was going to be okay.

"But, seriously, what happened to the-" Silena really wanted to know what happened to the monster.

Zach answered her question by unceremoniously pointing towards the front, which led to a ledge that gave you a view of the outside. Silena just gave him a look of confusion before she approached it. "Holy..."

Zach stood up from the floor and approached her, once he did, he saw that the Cetus Aethiopius was exactly where he left it. The Ethiopian Sea Monster was floating on the grand canal like a dead fish, which was practically what it was in a nutshell. The Son of... Someone was a little confused as to why it was still there as he kept waiting for it to turn into ash like all the monsters he killed. "It took me..." He checked his watch. "Eight and a half minutes to kill it." It was totally unintentional though.

"I... Seriously?" Silena was visibly dumbfounded, but Zach chose not to pay any attention to it.

Instead, he walked past her and went to check on Luke.

"Hey," With Silena realizing right away and following him. "Don't leave me alone, they could still be around." She was referring to Pandora and Epimetheus.

"Se tiverem afim de morrer." Because Zach was planning on killing both of them when he sees them again.

After walking a bit, they returned to the spot where his confrontation with Pandora and Epimetheus occurred. He saw Luke laying on the floor, breathing, but clearly hurt. So he rushed towards him right away. "Luke..." Zach kneeled down and touched his brother's face. The wound on his face was stitched and bandaged, and the bullet wounds seemed to have been taken care of as well. "How did yo-"

"One of my sisters was once in a relationship with one of Apollo's sons, he taught her some healing." Silena explained to him.

"Wait what?" Zach was very confused. "Vitakinesis can be taught?!" Vitakinesis is the ability to control and manipulate the healing process. It is a very useful ability to have. One with the ability can restore biotic organisms to their optimal health, curing damaged or withered organisms, wounds, broken bones, low vitality, diseases and poisoning. A Powerful User can heal or undo all damage to a flawless or perfect state, as all evidence, trace or even memory of the wounds are gone from the target's body after they are healed or repaired.

"Of course not!" Silena was quick to shut down the idea. "But there are alternatives to it, not as effective but..." But it did the job well enough.

"I see..." He was still one hundred percent clueless about what this alternative was because he never heard of it before, but he was more preoccupied about Luke at the moment so he decided to let it slide. "We can't stay here." That part was obvious to Zach.

"Where will we go?" SIlena asked as she looked around. "The whole city looks like a ghost town." Which was probably a result of Epimetheus using Mist Manipulation, but that wasn't important.

"It doesn't matter, just somewhere with a bed where we can place hi-" Zach stopped in the middle of it when he realized something. "Is that my jacket?" His jacket was hanging on top of a door of a building that was several steps away.

"Wasn't Pandora wearing it?" Silena reminded him of it.

Zach stood up from the floor and pulled out his revolver, which was loaded with Celestial Bronze bullets. Rushing towards his jacket with a very serious expression on his face, hoping that either Pandora or Epimetheus appeared so he could unload his revolver on them. It didn't take long for him to reach it, and once he did, he began to frantically look around for the couple with a frown on his face. "Come out and face me, you fat hobo!" Zach yelled in hopes of attracting them.

But there was no answer.

Zach scoffed before he reached for his jacket. How the hell is it still intact? He asked himself since he saw his spear going through Pandora, so there should be a big hole in it. Ahhh... Whatever. It's not like he is complaining. He placed the coat on his shoulder before walking back to Silena and Luke. "Is it safe to carry him?"

Zachariah and Silena made the decision to leave Ca' d'Oro in order to carry the unconscious Luke to somewhere safe. So Zach carried Luke all the way to an apartment that was located a considerable distance from Ca' d'Oro. There were still no signs of citizens, civilians or anything that resembled a human being. Which made the city quite disturbing, but that was the least of their concerns.

"Are you sure that it's a good idea for us to stay here?" Silena asked him as she set everything down.

They decided to enter a room located on the second floor. It was clearly an empty apartment with simple furniture inside.

Zachariah placed Luke on top of the bed inside the bedroom. "Não." He shaked his head in response as he covered Luke with the blanket. "But I don't have any better ideas." Luke is the one with the plans. Zach is just the one with the brute force.

"So... We just stay put until Luke wakes up?" Silena asked him as she closed the windows.

Zach just nodded in response. "ACHOO!" Before he sneezed.

"You need to take off those clothes." Silena pointed out as she already changed her clothes.

Under different circumstances, he would love to hear that. But in the current circumstances, it just means that he needs to take off his completely soaked clothes.

Zach sighed and began to remove his top. Once it was off, he dropped on the floor. Then he began to take off his pants, but before he could, Silena touched his shoulder. Making him turn around to face her.

Silena slowly began to inspect Zach's torso, with him awkwardly standing there as she began to touch him. "Not even a single scratch?"

"No." Epimetheus got a few shots in, but nothing that caused any significant damage.

"Seriously, how do you do that?!" Silena asked him in visible confusion.

"Do what?" Zach asked in confusion.

"Zach, you beat up a Titan and a giant sea-monster without breaking a single sweat." Silena tried to point out how absurd that sounds. "Do you seriously not understand how impossible that is?"

The Son of... Someone simply put his hands on his hips in response. "Not really, because how can it be impossible if I literally just did it?" However, him being shirtless only emphasises how ridiculous that was, because Zachariah's unimpressive torso only made the idea that he just beat up a Titan utterly ridiculous sounding. Not exactly his fault, because it literally doesn't matter how much he exercises, eats or doesn't eat, his body literally stays the same. "Look, I don't have an explanation, okay?" The boy covered himself in shame after saying that.

"Remember what Epimetheus said?" Silena asked him.

Boy, I am not really a fighter, but no Demi-god could take a Titan with such ease. Those were the words that the father of excuses used. "Come on, it was probably just an excuse for getting his ass kicked."

"But what if it wasn't?" Silena pointed out that possibility. "You being stronger than everyone in the camp is common knowledge but there was never an explanation for it."

"What explanation could it be?" Zachariah himself asked himself that a thousand times, but he couldn't think of anything. Luke, Thalia and Annabeth themselves were just as curious as him since by the looks of it, Zach was probably sired by a minor-god or something. "Even the gods themselves seem to be clueless of why I'm so strong." Which only makes the situation even more mind boggling. "ACHO!"

"You need to change your clothes." Silena pointed out, since he was standing there shirtless with soaked jeans.

All that was left for Zachariah to do was take a long shower in order to get the stench of fish out of him. After loads and loads of scrubbing and soup, he stepped out of the shower and changed into a pair of blue swimming shorts and a brazil soccer jersey with the number 10. Those were his only other clothes, so it was either that or nothing and he already tortured Silena enough with the sight of his painfully unimpressive torso.

Stepping out of the bathroom while drying his hair, Zach made his way to the room where he left Luke. Who was still unconscious, but sleeping peacefully. Silena was there as well, looking out the window in clear fear of something coming after them again.

"Don't worry, they're not going to be dumb enough to try anything again." Zacharah assured her as he dropped the towel on the floor and moved to approach Luke.

"Zach, I think you know better than I do that Deities aren't exactly known for having a lot of common sense." Silena was quick to rebuff.

"Yeah..." Gods, Titans and other divinities kind of have a track record for doing unbelievable dumb stuff. "É que nem esperar que um bebum tenha vergonha na cara pra não beber."

"What?" Silena didn't understand because Zach spoke in portuguese.

"Mas se aquela rolha de poço tiver afim de arrumar outra treta comigo, pode vim que eu vou enfiar a minha foice naquele rabo gordo del-." Zach was ranting in portuguese until he got interrupted.

"Zach, I'm not understanding a word of what you are saying." Silena told him in visible annoyance.

"Sorry," Zach had a tendency of randomly speaking in portuguese which often annoys people since they don't know whether he is saying something important or is making fun of someone. "I'm saying, if Epimetheus wants a round two, he can bring it on because I would love to see how he would fare against my scythe."

"Don't test our luck." She was quick to reply to him in that regard. "Especially with Luke like that."

Despite knowing that she was right, Zach was still furious over what happened, especially with the sight of the injured Luke in front of him. The boy could only lock his unnatural blue eyes on his face, with the sight of a horrible looking cut on his face, which was definitely going to leave a scar.

"Hey..." Suddenly, Silena approached him from behind and touched his shoulder. "It wasn't your fault."

"This is my quest and he just came along to help me." Zachariah was quick to reply, and the worst part, this was probably for nothing since they will probably not even be going to accomplish it since they had no clue anymore. "And this might have all been for nothing in the end since those two clearly had no idea where that damn box is." He gently touched Luke's face after saying that.

"They could have been lying, considering what their personalities turned out to be." Silena proposed.

"Nah, I don't think so." The level of annoyance in Epimetheus's voice when Zach mentioned the box clearly indicated that he wanted nothing to do with the thing, though, Pandora could be a totally different story since she was clearly unhinged. "But it doesn't matter now, you should just get some rest."

"You mean "we", right?" Silena attempted to correct him.

"No, I mean you." Zach clarified. "I'm the only one that can fight them so I'm staying awake because if the psycho couple tries again." Which was why he prefered to stay awake.

"Then forget about me going to sleep." Silena was quick to refuse it. "If you stay awake, so will I." She declared. "Besides, I don't think I can fall asleep anyway." Especially after the day they had.

Zach just moved his head to look at Silena's beautiful face. "Suit yourself, but I'm not one to refuse your lovely company anyway." He told her with a smile. "Would be better if we had food though..." Because he was quite hungry from all that fighting.

"There is some stuff in the kitchen, maybe we can cook ourselves a meal." Silena suggested.

"Your funeral..." Because Zach was a terrible cook.

"So, those chocolates are from your father's store?"

Determined to stay awake until Luke wakes up. Zachariah and Silena decided to fix themselves some dinner. Or Silena did while Zachariah just did whatever she told him to do. In the end, the apartment that they broke into had enough stuff in the kitchen to make something to eat. Which made them wonder who actually lived there, but that was not something that they had to worry about for now.

"My favorites are the Hazelnut chocolates." Silena revealed to him.

In the end, they were able to make themselves some chili made with kidney beans and tomatoes. Which they eat while Silena told Zachariah about her father, who owned a chocolate store.

"Personally, I prefer Dark Chocolate, but I would love to taste those ones." Zach told her while eating a spoonful of chili.

"I'll ask him to send some for you, I bet you're gonna love it." Silena assured him as she drank a bit of water.

They were both sitting on the floor, right besides the bed that Luke was sleeping on

Silena took a good look at Luke and asked. "Can I ask you a question?"

"Of course." He was curious about what the question was.

"Is Luke and Thalia together or something?" Zachariah was half expecting her to actually ask him that at some point.

"Yes and no..." Zach was quick to answer. "While there is definitely something between them... Neither of them seem to be making any effort to make it go further." That was the best way to describe it. Zach knows that there is something between Luke and Thalia, but they seem afraid to take it further and rather just let things stay the way they are. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but Zach thinks that it's a waste.

"Oh , I see." Silena definitely understood what Zachariah meant. "What about you?"

"What about me?" Zach was confused.

"Is there something happening between you and Annabeth?" Silena asked him.

...

...

...

"KKKKK!" Only for him to burst into laughter afterwards. "HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"What's so funny?" Silena was visibly confused by Zachariah's sudden burst of laughter.

"Annabeth and I... HAHAHA!" That was just funny. "Annabeth is practically my sister, there's absolutely nothing happening between us other than a deep and platonic love." The idea of the two of them together just sounded crazy to him.

"Oh boy... I guess poor Annabeth is gonna have to try harder..." Suddenly, she said something in a very low voice.

"What?" Zachariah didn't understand.

"Nothing..." Silena made a very suspicious looking face while turning her eyes to the side to avoid eye contact.

Zach was a little suspicious but decided to just change the subject. "Speaking on the subject..." The plain looking boy was definitely going to regret asking this but. "Is there someone you like?" He knows that she is single but that could easily change at any second.

Silena blushed a bit and looked away. "Well..." And he got his answer. "I do have someone I like but..." Then her face turned from a blush to a somewhat sad one.

"But?" And Zach wanted to know the reason behind it.

"Well, I just don't know whether or not I should try to pursue him or not..." Silena responded but Zach was still confused. "You see... There is this rite of passage that all demigod children of Aphrodite ARE expected to complete..."

"Rite of passage?" Zach was deeply confused, because this is the first time he heard about that.

Silena sighed. "Basically, for a child of Aphrodite to prove themselves worthy to their mother, they must make a person fall in love with him or her and then break that person's heart."

"Como é que é?" Zach was beyond baffled with what he just heard, because that was the dumbest thing he ever heard and beyond repulsive because the idea of making someone fall in love with you just to break that person's heart is just cruel on every single level. "That's just..."

"I know." Silena seemed to share his opinion. "But I heard bad things happen with the ones that don't complete the rite of passage."

"So, you're afraid of trying anything with the guy you like because of it?" Zach could understand the reason, but it was still something considerably wrong.

"Partially..." It seemed like there was more. "Truth be told, I'm not exactly sure how to even start a conversation with him."

Zach took a very good look at Silena's face, and he could tell that this was something that genuinely bothered her. "What do you mean by that?"

"I mean... We don't really have anything in common, at least in terms of stuff we like to do." She elaborated and he understood.

"And how exactly do you know that if you didn't even start a conversation with him?" Zachariah was trying to understand her logic.

"We did talk, but it was very short and we mostly exchanged pleasantries." She clarified.

Zachariah sighed and rolled his eyes. "Alright, who is he?" Part of him didn't want to know, because he already expected to have no chance against the guy but the curiosity was stronger.

"It's... Ummm...Charles ." She revealed.

"Charles ?" Zachariah was surprised. "Charles Beckendorf?!" One of the sons of Hephaestus and the head counselor of Cabin 9. He was also one of Zachariah's closest friends in the camp and the one that actually crafted his revolver.

"Yeah... I think he is sweet." Silena confirmed that it was the same Charles.

I should be upset, but Charles is one of the coolest guys I know and I definitely can't be upset if he actually ends up with Silena. Despite having feelings for Silena, he can't exactly complain since Charles is actually a nice guy and good friend of his, so him ending up with Silena is not exactly a bad thing. And let's be honest, you never had a chance with her anyway, so there is no point in being upset about it. He genuinely believes that. "Don't worry about it and just go for it." It actually hurt to say that, but he did a very good job pretending that it didn't.

"Like I said, the Rite of-" Silena tried to remind her of the rite of passage, but she was interrupted by it.

"Don't worry, I know someone that is secretly in love with you and he will certainly be heartbroken when he sees you and Charles together." Zach pathetically tried to hide the fact that he was talking about himself.

"Wait what?!" Silena was surprised by that.

"Unless that doesn't count, because the whole idea is dumb to be honest." He tried to change the subject before she tried to ask who it was.

"I mean, I think it technically does but... Who is it?" Only for her to ask him anyway.

"I would rather not say, but he told me that he fell for you because of your luminous beauty, your goodness, your patience and how you humble his every word." Zachariah was basically telling all the things he liked about Silena.

"Humble his every-What?" Silena was clearly more confused than anything.

"Yeah, I didn't understand that one either." Because he literally just made that one up. "Look, unless you plan to reject him yourself, I think it's better that you don't know." Especially since Zach would rather avoid that himself.

Silena just sighed before scratching her head. "You're probably right, to be completely honest, rejecting someone is actually awful."

"How so?" Getting rejected is certainly awful but doing the rejection.

"It's not the person's fault that they don't have feelings for the other person, it is awful to crush someone's feelings like that, especially if you are actually fond of the person." Silena explained what she meant. "Especially if they are the type that don't take rejection well."

Is there such a thing as taking rejection well? Zachariah actually believes that people that do take rejection well are actually just pretending that they did. "I don't think anyone actually does take rejection well."

"There is, you just have to respect the other person and move on." Silena responded.

"Move on to what, exactly?" Because you actually have to have something to move on to first and that is usually not the case. "I don't think moving on is an actual option most of the time."

"There are seven billion people in the world, Zach." Silena was quick to rebuff that. "If it doesn't work with one person, you just have to try again with another."

"Silena, I swear that if you weren't my friend, I would probably punch right now." Silena made a very confused face after Zachariah said that. "Because I am so tired of hearing that worthless stock phrase like is ever going to mean anything to anyone."

"What do you mean?" Silena asked him in curiosity.

"It literally just means that you are one worthless digit in that overwhelming high number and that it's going to be a matter of pure and complete dumb luck whether or not you are actually going to find specific people that are going to be into you." Double if you count whether or not it is going to be people that you are actually interested in yourself. "I mean, it is quite easy for you to say that since you are the daughter of the literal Goddess of Love and Beauty and there is practically a gigantic line of guys that would literally kill to have a chance with you." Himself included.

"Zach..." Silena rolled her eyes at that statement. "There is more to it than looks." She is perfectly aware how Zach is insecure about his physical appearance.

"Then answer me honestly." Zachariah already decided to give up anyway, so there was no harm. "Would you go out with me if you weren't interested in Charles?"

"Yes." Only for him to widen his eyes completely shocked by her immediate answer.

"Wait... Come again?" He genuinely believed he heard wrong.

Silena sighed, before she actually cupped Zachariah's cheeks. "Listen to me, Zachariah Roosevelt, and you listen well." She stared deeply into his unnatural blue eyes with her chocolate brown eyes. "I know you are super insecure about your looks but you have a lot of other qualities that are way more important than appearance." The Daughter of Aphrodite stated to the Son of... Someone. "You are brave, strong, funny, gentle and loving, those are qualities that any person in their right mind would value over looks, okay?" After saying that, Silena let out a very bright and beautiful smile while she continued to stare deeply into his eyes. "And don't think for a second that I'm just saying those things to be nice." She clarified that part. "Because I'm willing to actually swear swear over the river Styx that I'm telling the truth if it will get you to believe it."

Saying all of that made things much worse, because now his face was dangerously close to Silena's. Who became even more beautiful that she already was thanks to that very lovely smile that she had. And that fact that she was smiling at him, made his heart in ecstasy.

Zachariah tried to say "okay" in response to her kind words, but instead. His body seemed to have moved without his permission, because instead of speaking, he instead approached his face and without her having any time to react, pressed his lips into hers.

"HM?!" With Silena only making a surprise sound as the boy suddenly kissed without any warning. "Hmm..." Her hands were still cupping his cheeks, and she could have easily pushed him away, but instead, she did nothing.

It was Zach that realized what he just did and pulled back in a hurry. "Ah!" Feeling like his heart was going to explode because he cannot believe that he just did that. "I-I-I AM S-SO SO SORRY!" Desperately apologizing to her right after he pulled back.

Silena didn't say anything, she just gave a shocked face that felt worse than getting punched by Epimetheus earlier. "Z-zach... A-are you..." She tried to ask him something but she seemed to have trouble saying it. "The one you were talking about earlier-" It was obvious that she was going to ask if he was the one that was actually secretly in love with her. But before she could ask the deeply embarrassing question, something happened.

A noise was heard by the two of them, coming from the outside of the door that led out of the apartment. With the two of them immediately moving their heads to look at the door. The noise sounded like someone was knocking on the door.

Both Zach and Silena looked at each other with very confused faces. Until Zach made a serious look and stood up from the floor. Grabbing his revolver right away and slowly walking towards the door.

Silena was visibly nervous and just looked at Zach in anticipation as the boy approached the door with his revolver ready.

However, as soon as he was about to reach the door, Silena stood up and grabbed him. "W-" And covered his mouth when he tried to ask her what she was doing. She signalled him to be quiet and pointed towards the floor. "Huh?" Noticing that there was indeed something weird coming from under the door. Like there was something trying to squeeze through the small gap.

Zach gently pulled Silena's hands off of him and extended his right arm with his revolver at hand. Silena realized what he was going to do and hid behind him, he her hands grabbing onto his shoulders.

Unfortunately, before Zachariah could pull the trigger. The one standing on the other side decided to just break the door down. "AH!" With both Silena and Zach taking a step back as the door fell down.

The son of... Someone could only take a good look at whoever was behind the door frame.

"Nossa, você é muito feio."

Q AND A:

Wow

WOW!

Are you Brazilian, bro? If yes, what state are you from?

I am part Brazilian and lived in Rio de Janeiro for a while.

Zack stays true to himself even in life-and-death situations from mythical beasts. The fight scenes were fun. In the scene where Luke is shot We see Zach's desperation. When a dear friend is shot

- They will continue their mission or they will return to the camp.
- Will Epimetheus and Pandora play a role in the future?
- Silena recalls the words Epimetheus said, "You are not a mere Demi-god."
Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

Zach loves Luke and views him as his brother.

It will but up for Luke to decide.

Maybe...

And that will play a role later

Same...

To start not to sure if Zachariah should be questioning why the Cetus was there when you think how well all the mythological monsters are scattered around the place none of them are in their homes from the myths haha a more on point reaction might have been something like him pondering if Pandora and Epimetheus have actually tamed the dam thing

So the fight with Epimetheus was good and I liked having him be the first divine being we see question what Zachariah actually is however one thing struck me as odd Epimetheus lack of reaction to Zachariah pulling out his scythe considering the possible very likely history of that scythe feel like the Titan shouldn't least have had a eyes winding moment to seeing it

At the end to be honest would have liked it more if as the most experienced demi god in the room Zachariah kept his cool a bit more despite Lukes condition even it was something like he was about to panic but he caught himself and was like right priorities get Silena to help Luke while I murder the sea serpent then I can worry

Yeah not a massive fan of the idea that Z is going to be all miserable until he meets Calypso or that he's seemingly going to remain a massive push over when it comes to his friends telling him what to do

Okay with Annabeth instead of the troupe of Z not recognising that she loves him that way can he actually click onto to that fact especially if Annabeth wisens uo a bit in regards to showing her feelings and that Z does see her that way because he can acknowledge the fact one of his closest friends is also a beautiful girl

Haha with Calypso then definitely eager for Z getting he freedom then asking the Gods to send him to her and provide a way from them to get back to camp cue him stunning her by you know turning back up on her island and casually mentioning he's freed her from the island and that she's coming to camp half blood with him que scene of him walking into camp carrying her in a bridal carry haha

Hm Greek Demigod Preview then as tempted as I am by the idea of the Goddess preview haha

It's because nobody has seem it since Perseus defeated, which is why Zach was surprised by it.

His scythe was made specifically for Zachariah's use, nobody has ever seem it before.

Unfortunately, Zachariah's fatal flaw is that he is overly emotional at times. (He can easily keep his calm when he is fighting but when there are other people in danger, he usually ends up panicking, which is kind of why Zach prefers to act solo.)

Like said, Zach will take Percy's rejection pretty badly and will leave the Camp for a while and only come back when he gets over it.

Hilariously, almost everyone is aware that Annabeth likes Zach, but as you saw here, Zach thinks there is only platonic love between them.

Not exactly the Gods, Zach is actually forced to beat the ones that actually trapped her on that island to begin with. But, yeah, that is exactly what he is going to do.

Well... just a small one.

Obrigado pelo capítulo incrível, Autor-San!

De nada...

nice chapter

Thanks.

Zach was hugging the Queen of the Underworld quite tightly as the two continued to dance at the tune of the loud song. He could feel Persephone sniffing his hair and her hands all over his back. The grass provided a lovely sensation on his feet and the sweet smell of the air only made that even more lovely.

"What is he still doing here!?" Only for it to be interrupted by the unpleasant voice of Demeter. Who was standing a few steps away from the two with her hands on her hips and a very apprehensive look on her face.

"I tried to leave but she won't let me." Zachariah was quick to tell her in response.

"I am not done yet, Aphrodite had more time with you than I did." Persephone was quick to tell him that while tightening up her hug.

"You have to be kidding me?" Demeter looked into the sky in visible annoyance. "I thought this nonsense was over after Adonis died." The Goddess of Agriculture did not like the fact the situation was repeating itself. "And he is not even beautiful, how can you be acting like that towards such a plain looking boy?!"

"I'm literally asking myself the same question." Zach was quick to add. "But, if we actually take into consideration who her husband is..." It makes it clear that she has a peculiar taste in men.

"Of that, I definitely agree with you." Demeter did share the same distaste that Zach had for Hades.

"What is it that you want, mother?" Persephone definitely didn't like her mother's presence at the moment.

"I want him out of here." Demeter made that part abundantly clear.

"No." Persephone frowned towards her mother.

Zachariah sighed and decided to do something before it gets bad. "Listen, I do have some things to take care of and I certainly don't want to take advantage of your mother's hospitality."

"At least this one is respectful." Demeter commented as she folded her arms.

Persephone responded by making a sad face at him. "Don't go yet..." Still holding on to him tightly to her mother's displeasure.

"I must, or else I will be in trouble later with Mother Night." The mere mention of Nyx made Demeter widen her eyes.

"Daughter, let the boy go right now or else I will have to force you to do it." And that caused her to actually help Zach in getting away from her daughter.

The Goddess of Springtime and Vegetation frowned at the Goddess of the Seasons once again. Before returning her gaze to Zachariah Roosevelt. "You will visit me again, won't you?"

Zach just smiled at her. "Of course, I promise that I will visit you again." He meant what he said. "Even if it gets me the wrath of both your husband and mother." And her step-children because Nico and Bianca hate it just as much for complete opposite reasons.

The Goddess simply smiled at him. Before she actually, without caring about her mother's presence, gave Zachariah a very tender kiss on the lips. Kissing a Goddess was a very odd feeling, not a bad one, but extremely hard to describe. Persephone's kiss was warm, gentle and undoubtedly loving. After a minute or two, the two finally separated.

"You are aware that he kissed Hades's children with those lips, right?" Demeter decided to ruin the tender moment with that piece of information while making a very disgusted face.

"I am aware that Nico and Bianca are in love with him, which is the second major reason why Hades hates him so much." The main reason was the fact that his wife is in love with him too.

"And I hate him just as much and I hope you describe the wonderful time we spent together in full detail to him when you get back to the Underworld.." Zach had to speak that part up and he hoped that someone filmed that so he could watch with Nico and Bianca later.
