-Chapter 1, Welcome to Teyvat Outlanders-
Within a fantasy world, known as Teyvat the powers of seven different elements flow and converge through this world. These elements are Anemo, the element of air, Geo, the element of earth, Electro, the element of lightning, Dendo, the element of Nature, Hydro, the element of water, Pyro, the element of Fire, and finally Cryo, the element of Ice.
In this world, there are Seven Gods known as Archons that represented an element. The Gods would grant mortals unique items that took a part of the mortal's soul and the God's chosen element to create an item known as a Visions that granted the chosen mortal the God's elemental power and unique abilities. With the help of such powers, the mortals formed a bountiful homeland out of the wilderness, each choosing to live within the land that was protected by a god of their choice.
However, the collapse of an ancient civilization known as Celestia turned the world upside down and caused a near extinct level calamity. Though the calamity the world suffered has ceased, peace has yet to be restored as monster-like creatures now roam this world in different forms and even taken in the elements themselves.
Now 500 years later, the world has grown and started to thrive but the Archon's of this world each chose a different path, some travel their region looking for the good, while others are scarred from the war and desire the world to remain as is, some have even been betrayed by the ones they once protected. This is the world our story takes place in.
A young-looking man that was dressed like a bard, was calmly strumming a small lyre in his arms as he sat on a large branch from a giant tree. He wore a frilly top with a corset for the midsection, along with teal shorts with gold embroidery, a matching teal cape held together by a deep blue and gold bow. He also wore white stockings with three cold diamond shapes along each leg and a beret-like hat with a Cecilia. He wore an Anemo Vision on his left hip attached to a belt, with a wing ornament attached to the right of the vision, pom-pom's hang underneath the vision with feathers. His hair was braided on both sides, with the top half being black and the bottom being blue.
He was shaken from his strumming by the sight of two falling stars over the day sky. His bright green eyes held a hidden wisdom within them as he looked up to the stars. He noticed that the two stars crashed near one of the old statues that was dedicated to one of the seven Gods of the world, who was known as Barbatos.
"Well, that is a bit concerning. I felt a strong power from those stars. The knights from Mondstadt will be investigating it too, so I better visit first." The young man jumped from the branch as wind started to surround him. He released a laugh as the wind picked up even more before it dispersed and revealed the man had vanished, as his laughter drifted along with the wind.
Within a slightly large medieval looking building, a woman that was dressed in a regal uniform stopped working on some paperwork as she released a sigh of exhaustion. The woman's long blonde hair was tied back into a high ponytail with a black bow. On her ears, she wore a pair of gold cross earnings. She wore a sleeveless black button-up under a white vest with a long blue tailcoat attached to it, a pair of separate black sleeves, a short blue and gold cloak attached to a white collar, white tights embroidered with a gold diamond-dot pattern, a pair of white high-heeled knee-high boots, and a pair of white gauntlets. There was a golden Knights of Favonius crest on the front of her vest. Her vision hung off her belt at her back on her left.
Standing from the desk she was working on; she made her way to look out the window behind her desk. She smiled as she watched the people of her small city walk around, looking happy as they enjoyed their day. She was shaken from her enjoyment by the sight of two golden falling stars flying through the sky. Her eyes widened as she saw them crash a couple of miles away from the city. The door to her office was slammed open as a man dressed as a night came in.
"Grand Master Jean Ma'am! Two falling objects just fell outside of the city!" The man urgently spoke, and the woman's eyes gained a serious look.
"Have Amber search and recon the area those stars had fallen, I will collect Kaeya as you collect as many knights as we can spare. We cannot leave the city undefended in case this is a plan from the Abyss Order… Why are you still here? Go now!" Jean spoke with absolute authority as she made her way to the door.
The knight saluted before running to complete his mission, as Jean glanced to the window one last time. 'I will not allow anything to harm Mondstadt.' She thought to herself as she went to look for the knight known as Kaeya.
Several miles away, standing on top a cliff, a young blonde hair male eyes were drawn to the sky as the two stars fell towards the region of Mondstadt. His eyes followed the stars in a trance as if remembering a memory before he felt a being appear behind him. Instead of turning, he held his gaze on the stars.
"Your Highness, should we send some agents to investigate the site of those falling stars?" A being asked as it floated behind the young man. The being was short in stature while dressed in a large blue cloak that hid its body feature and even wore a mask that complete hid any facial feature it had.
"No, by the time one of our agents arrives, the Knights of Favonius will have already searched and removed whatever, or whoever fell in the area. No, we must continue to follow the original plan." The young man said with a commanding tone. "While I am curious, I must stay focus, but that doesn't mean we can't send a tribe of Hilichurls to weaken Mondstadt's knights." The floating being gave a nod as it left the man alone to complete the task, as he watched the stars crash. "I hope this is a sign that we will meet soon… sister."
As the two stars fell on a small lone island that held an old looking pillar like statue, the energy around the stars seemed to absorb the impact and stay floating in the air for a minute before gently lowering down. The energy faded away, revealing two people laying passed out in the places of the orbs of energy.
The first was a young looking, athletic woman. She had long pink hair that was tied into a high ponytail with a black bow and a strand of hair over her left eye that was blue. She seemed to be wearing a pair of glasses and wore a sleeveless white button up blouse under and pink vest with a long pink tailcoat attached to it, a short pink and white cloak with a hood, black tights embroidered with a silver star like pattern, and pink knee-high boots embellished with silver linings and symbols. She also seemed to have a leather belt with a small bag and a pair of black gloves. Lying beside her was a long trident, with a pink polearm, a silver image of a star at the base of the trident prongs, with three silver strands that widely curled around the polearm to the butt of the trident that held a shape looking silver point. The trident prongs were also a gentle pink color, but one could tell they could easily pierce a target.
The other being was a young-looking athletic man. He had long blue hair that was tied into a low ponytail with a strand over his right eye that was pink. He was wearing a blue dress shirt, a long black vest, a deep blue jacket that is left unbuttoned at the bottom to reveal a belt around black dress pants and cuffed black boots. He also wore a blue scarf that goes across his chest and over his left shoulder and a pair of black gloves. Lying beside him was a one-handed long sword, its blade was white and slender. Its grip is a deep black color with a bright blue four-pointed star with an extended end at the base of the handle. It leads up to a cross guard that is exactly perpendicular to the grip and is designed to look like a blue and black four-pointed star with one point extending partially down the blade. At the center of the guard held four blue lines extending out to the points of the star guard.
Both weapons gave off an otherworldly glow as a figure arrived at the scene, looking on in curiosity at the sight. The glow from the weapons grew, as they slowly floated over their specific holder before the weapons changed into a pair of light orbs, one blue and the other pink. The orbs burst into seven smaller shards of light each that were absorbed into different parts of their holder. Both sets of gloves and boots gained a gem in the center of the gloves and at the top of their boots. One went to the buckle of their belts, creating another star shape buckle in their respected color, as the last two became a matching necklace and a single earring. One on the male's left ear and the female's right.
"Oh my, how curious. These two are giving off immense power, but one not fully from this world." The figure spoke out as they gently landed on the island holding the two beings and revealing it to be the mysterious bard.
As they stepped closer to the two, he frowned as he heard a roar travel through the wind. Turning to look in a certain direction, he took a minute before the smile returned to his face, "Maybe you two were sent to help this world and could help me with my friend." He looked like he wanted to say more, but he turned to look in another direction where the sound of leaves rustling could be heard. Releasing a sigh, he quietly spoke to himself as he jumped to travel with the wind again, "It looks like Amber is proving why she is the best scout in Mondstadt, I'll have to leave, but know this my new 'friends', I hope that you will be able to help me save my friend when the time comes."
Just as the bard vanished from the Island, a woman dressed in red ran up to the edge of the small lake around the Island. The girl wore a jumper-like outfit composed of dark red shorts, a red and black top that has only a hood and sleeves, a white and brown top with a Crest that represented the Knights of Favonius in gold on the front, red stockings, and white thigh-high boots embellished with gold linings and symbols. She had accessories that included a leather belt with two small bags, and a Pyro Vision with two red feathers attached, a pair of gloves, a small belt on her right thigh, and gold-framed goggles. Her most distinguishing feature is the headband with a large red bow that rests on her head, resembling the shape of bunny ears.
"Acting Grand Master Jean said the stars fell around this area, but I don't see… Huh! Why is a couple of people passed out on the Island! I'll need to check on them!" The red themed woman, known as Amber, spoke out as she looked around. Seeing that she didn't have any other choice, Amber dove into the water and swam to the Island. Once on land, she quickly made a beeline to the two, glad to see that they were breathing but confused since they didn't look familiar, but their clothing looked to be from this region. She had also noticed that they weren't wet, but she then noticed that the area around them was releasing a type of energy she had only felt from her visions. Looking closely at the two, she noticed that they didn't have any visions or weapons on them. 'What could that mean?' "Well at least another target has been found by Outrider Amber."
"Zido kuzi unu!" The shout caught Amber's attention as she turned to see a creature known as a Hilichurl. The creature was solid black in color with bone white nails and toes. It wore dirty brown arm wrap on their forearms, dirty straps around their legs. It wore a type of Kilt made from animal leather around its waist that was decorated with small animal bones. The most distinctive feature of it was the thick tan hair that covered its entire head and hid its head-like features as only two long ears poked from the ball of hair. A white round mask that held two horn like points covered its face as a paint-like design was over the mask.
Amber tried to stay as quiet and still as possible knowing that if one of these creatures had found an enemy, it would call for support from any others nearby. She would normally be able to face a group of ten without breaking a sweat, but it would be difficult now since she would have to also protect the two unarmed travelers she found. She tried to quietly hold an arm out to summon her weapon if she needed it, but as she moved her legs, a twig snapped, and the creature turned in her direction before screeching loudly. Amber's Vision glowed red as a beautiful white and gold bow appeared in her left hand before she quickly pulled the string back. The Vision by her hip continued to glow a release a soft heat as an arrow made of fire appeared in the bow before if faded to reveal a black arrow. A sudden release from the string saw that the arrow struck the Hilichurl in the mask, silencing it before the arrow faded away and the creature's body started to dissolve into black flakes that released a red glow that floated and quickly fade into the air.
The archer was about to sigh in relief, but several more screeches filled the air followed by a couple terrifyingly loud roars. Soon several more Hilichurl burst from the nearby a few looked like the one she had killed while others looked different, such as a shorter looking Hilichurl that that held a large staff and a different design mask. This being had a dark blue color to him, but two more followed him, one with a pale blue color and the other a bluish green color. These were known as Samachuri, special Hilichurls that learned to use the elements.
Amber grew nervous at the sight of the of the small army of Hilichurls, some carrying crossbows and the three elemental Samachuri but what really scared her were the three larger beings in the back. Two were large muscular Hilichurls that stood over the rest of the army. They had a more animalistic mask over their faces and two large red horns over their masks. They were also carrying large wooden tribal shields that could protect their entire bodies. The third being looked like the two shield holders but was slightly larger with a muscular upper body with red glowing tattoos that helped it wield a large tribal axe that was also releasing a red glow. These beings were known as Mitachurls, Elite members and leaders of the Hilichurl tribes.
Now the crimson archer was truly frightened by this sight. She would normally run away from the sight of this small army and warn Grand Master Jean of this, but she couldn't leave the two unconscious people alone on this small island and she knew that the moment she sent a warning shot to the sky, the creatures would know where she was. "Oh Lord Barbatos, please give me strength to make the right choice." Amber whispered out, almost as if the Anemo Archon himself heard her, two sets of groans caught her ear, turning she saw that the two unconscious individuals were slowly waking up.
"Ow, my head. What happened?" The girl asked as she sat up, rubbing her head to ward off a headache.
"God, I feel like I just drank a whole bottle of Tequila." The guy said, confusing Amber by the drink before she saw him sitting up too. Turning, she looked back to the tribe and saw they were walking around the Island, but noticed some were starting to make their way towards the path she came from. Knowing that she had to do something quickly, she rushed to the two.
"Hey, stay quiet and stay down. There's a whole tribe of Hilichurls starting to surround this island and since I'm the only one here with a Vision, I'll need to protect you both." The two were confused by this statement, as they started to slowly realize that they were outside, memories of past events started to fill their mind.
"I'm going to need you both to stay behind the Statue of Barbatos while I handle them. I'll try to draw their attention to me so get ready to move once I send the signal." Amber spoke as she kept a critical eye on the Hilichurls. Seeing that they weren't moving, Amber dropped her bow to grab their hands and pulled the two to the thick brush that surrounded the statue, staying low.
"Now stay here and don't come out from behind here until help arrives." Amber said with as much authority as she could, hiding the fear and trepidation that she felt.
Once they looked safe, Amber quietly rushed back to the front and reclaimed her bow, pulling the string, she summoned another fire arrow before aiming up and shooting it in the air. The arrow pierced the sky before exploding and creating a small flare that lit up the area, catching the attention of the tribe of monsters as they turned to the island. The leading Mitachurl released a roar as the Hilichurls with crossbows started to release arrow bolts at the archer who dodged. Amber quickly returned fire, trying to take out as many as possible, until help arrived.
The two strangers screamed in surprise at the sound of fighting, the screeches of anger from the creatures, the shouts of determination from Amber, and the monstrous roars of the large Mitachurl. "What the hell is happening!?" The girl screamed out only to move to the side as a stray bolt landed near her.
"Quick stay down or else one of those creatures will notice you." The guy spoke as he looked around nervously, trying to make sure those creatures didn't notice the two of them.
"Shit, Zeke! Whatever happened to me happened to him too. He must be around here somewhere." The girl spoke as she looked around for her missing co-worker.
"My name is Zeke, who are you?" The guy said as the girl looked closely at him before glaring at him.
"My name is Brianna and there's no way your Zeke, he doesn't have blue hair or looks like well you." She looked around and lifted a large stick, to protect herself from the unknown guy.
"Blue hair? Look, my name is Zeke. I literally just woke up a few minutes ago. And the Brianna I know doesn't have pink hair." Zeke said before he noticed his new clothes, Brianna noticed his surprise and then noticed the changes on herself, as she lowered the stick.
"Okay if your Zeke, what is the last thing you remember?" Bri asks as she wanted to make sure this was the guy she knew.
Zeke looked at her for a minute before, releasing a sigh, "I had just finished closing the store I worked at before the 'Brianna' I know got the pull she wanted from the game Genshin Impact. After that, some weird primo gem appeared and said it would grant our wishes."
"…But because we were talking about meeting the character's from Genshin, it took our comments as wishes and… sent… us…" Bri finished as her eyes widen as she started to look pale from that thought.
They were interrupted by the sound of splashing water. The two looked over the statue and were shaken at the sight of the creatures and their ruthless attacks. But what froze the two outlanders was the sight of Amber, moving with a type of grace as she dodged and returned fire with an arrow. The girl looked like she was dancing to a tune only she could hear instead of fighting for her life. Amber avoided arrow bolts and rocks that were aimed at her. The only time that her dance was broken was when one of the Samachuri would launch a ball made of glowing energy that held the power of an element, as seen when one of the blue orbs burst into water. Amber just dodged another water ball before a ball made of wind hit her side, knocking her near the island edge and splashing her with more water from the lake. Just as she was about to move, a light blue orb hit the water, freezing it instantly and even encasing her legs in ice.
Fear filled Amber's eyes as she watched the leading Mitachurls raise its axe with a loud roar, causing the Hilichurls to all fire bolts and even throw rocks at the down archer. Amber closed her eyes, expecting this to be her last fight as the two otherworlders turned away. They were all shocked when a new voice spoke out.
"Wind, hear me!" A small cyclone of wind surrounds the island, causing the bolts and rocks to harmlessly bounce off, protecting the outrider from harm just as a figure landed in front of amber. Looking up, Amber was ecstatic to see her acting grand master here.
Jean smiled to her outrider before turning to glare at the army of monster as she raised her sword in the air and shouted with a command of "Attack!"
Several voices roared in agreement as knights from Mondstadt came running and engaged the Hilichurls. One Hilichurl tried to attack a knight from behind before another voice sliced through the air, "Cool it." The Hilichurl was hit with an energy stream of ice freezing it solid. A sword slash shattered the frozen monster as it faded to dust.
The one that had frozen the Hilichurl had dark blue hair, dark tan skin and a single blue eye as a black eye patch covered his right eye. He wore a half-cape with a fur collar; a white-collared, chest-revealing blouse; dark, tight-fitted trousers; and knee-length boots. His light blue Vision hangs from a loose brown belt, which also has a blue gem and a rope. He also had a blue earring on his left ear.
A grin burst on Amber's face as seeing this man, "Captain Kaeya!" This caused the man to look over to Amber with a small smirk.
"Sorry to interrupt your little party here, I also hope you didn't mind that Acting Master Jean told me to bring a few friends along." Kaeya said calmly as he cut down another Hilichurl before dodging a few crossbow bolts. Getting excited to fight again, Amber summoned a fire arrow and stabbed the ice holding her, quickly melting it, and standing back up. With a powerful jump across the water, she was able to regroup with Kaeya away from the island, as they both rejoined Jean who was watching the Mitachurls closely.
"Acting Master Jean! It's so great that you and the knights made it just in time." Amber spoke to Jean as she noticed Jean was not looking away from the Mitachurls, "Um… Jean?"
"What had happened to the shooting stars Amber?" Jean's voice was calm but still held a strong command within. The sight of a large group of monsters near Mondstadt was weird and her only guess was that it was related to the stars.
"Oh! Yes!" Excitement filled Amber for a second before she grew serious, "I followed the trail and found the site of the landing was the island, but all I found was a pair of civilians, a male and a female."
Both Kaeya and Jean were both silently shocked to hear that two unarmed civilians came from the stars, both wondered why they arrived here, "Are you sure there is nothing special about them Amber, we can't assume that this army was brought here to face a pair of unarmed civilians" Jean said as she slightly moved her eyes to the Island, briefly noticing the two civilians hiding behind the statue of Barbatos.
"Um, well they didn't have any weapons around them, and they didn't carry a vision on their body that I could see, but the area they were laying in felt strange. It was like they were releasing the power of a vision from their own bodies." Amber nervously spoke out as she continued to shoot at a few crossbow Hilichurls.
Jean and Kaeya both shared a look before Jean spoke up, "Okay well, for now we will just need to focus on this battle and then we can focus on what this power you felt could be. For all we know it could just be coming from the Statue of lord Barbatos."
"Yes, Grand Master Jean!" Amber and Kaeya both shouted before they returned to the fight. Jean glanced to the island one last time before joining the battle.
"This honestly can't be real, right?" Brianna asked as she glanced around the statue, seeing the battle continue.
"I would love to say it's just a dream Bri, but there's no fooling the truth." Zeke said as he flinched at the sight of a knight getting shot in the shoulder by a bolt before another knight stood in front of him.
Hearing a scream, Brianna flinched and closed her eyes. It was one thing to see a fight in a video game, but it's completely different to see it in real life, in a way where one mistake will cost you your life. Part of her wished that she never received that golden Primo gem. She could have been at home, reading one of her newest books and playing with her cat. Instead, she was stuck on an island that was surrounded by monsters and knights, both fighting for their lives. She was slowly spiraling into a depression before she felt someone touch her shoulder and flinched as she caught the worried gaze of her friend.
"Bri, just relax. We can figure this out." Zeke said in a slightly calming voice, as he looked around the island, making sure that none of the creatures noticed them. Feeling slightly calmer, Bri thanked him before moving his hand off her shoulder, but she caused them both to touch the statue they were hiding behind.
The moment the two outlanders touched the Statue of Barbatos, the statue released a bright white light that lasted for a second before two greenish blue lights were released from the orb in the statue's hands and flew into the two outlanders. The moment the orbs entered their bodies, the two released gasps before a green light covered the two as they started to scream in pain, allowing the wind to pick up and create a tornado that surrounded both outlanders and the statue. The fighting around the island had stopped as everyone could only stare at the event in amazement and slight fear.
All around Teyvat, other statues of the seven's held Item lit up with their given element color. The people near each statue took this as a sign of their Gods watching over them, but the Gods known as Archons felt this new power that entered their world, a power that could fully harness their element without a gifted Vision. Some felt hope, others were curious, but a few were angered.
Back on the lone island, the wind started to calm as the light faded away, it revealed both male and female glowing with Anemo energy and now standing on either side of the Statue of Barbatos. Brianna now wielded her trident, as the cloak of energy gave her a pair of foxlike ears and a long swaying tail. Her eyes glowed with the same energy as a snarl made its way onto her lips as she glared towards the group of monsters. Zeke, on the other hand, stood straighter as he held his sword by his side, his face was calm and uncaring as the cloak of Anemo energy took the form of a single wing from his left shoulder blade, but like his partner, his eyes we also releasing the same bluish green energy.
As everyone was staring at the two, a lone Hilichurl took a step back in fear from the energy the two were releasing and snapped a twig. The moment the snap echoed around the area, the two suddenly vanished. Brianna roared as she appeared in front of Jean and threw her trident through the bodies of three Hilichurls, it only stopped after it was able to pierce the shield belonging to one of the Mitachurls and stabbed it in the chest. As the colossal warrior fell to its back dying, the animalistic girl jumped onto the shield and yanked her trident free as she turned to glare towards the now frightened monsters. Zeke was just as deadly as he flew towards a group of crossbow wielders that started to fire bolts in his direction. He looked as if he just flew past the bolts, completely ignoring them as they continued their way towards Kaeya and Amber before the bolts were suddenly split in half and fell harmlessly to the ground. He appeared in the middle of the group standing back-to-back to a lone Hilichurl in the center with his blade sticking from its chest as the others all dropped their crossbows. As he removed his blade, all the Hilichurl were sliced in half before erupting into dust as slash marks were revealed littered on the ground.
While the two outlanders were attacking the creatures, the knights were looking at the two in amazement and in fear. Jean could only look at the two with caution and anxiety. The power they were releasing would have made her believe she was in the presence of a pair of Archons, but they looked to be regular civilians before they touched the statue.
"What in Barbatos name…" Jean had started to say before noticing that the three Samachuri combined their staffs and started to chant as a watery orb was formed at the tip of the three staffs, soon two rings of winds covered the orb as a bright white crystal orb was formed inside and started to slowly freeze water from within.
Her eyes widened as she noticed them targeting her knights along with Amber and Kaeya, "No!" She screamed as she tried to run to them but was too late as the orb shot from the staff and soon a freezing mist exploded from the direction of the knights. Fear filled her heart as she believed her friends and loyal knights were frozen solid and killed before her eyes. As the mist started to clear, the acting grandmaster was shocked to see that all the knights were unharmed, and a large wall of ice was formed in front of them. Looking closely, she noticed that both Anemo infused travelers were standing in front of the wall of Ice, each with a single hand out as a thin layer of wind had stopped the attack from freezing and killing all her knights. Even someone as skilled and experienced with an Anemo vision as herself, Jean knew she could never imagine having the power to stop a powerful spell that used three different elements. She would have had to use every ounce of power within her vision to reach her knights and then even pray that her life would have been the only one taken from that kind of attack.
"By the air that grants life to all and the wind that guides souls unbound, we shall not allow you to bring harm to the people of Mondstadt…" The two spoke in unison as they kept their single hands held out. The wind around their palms picked up speed and shattered the ice wall into nothing. The three Samachuri quickly tried to recreate their previous attack, but it was not fast enough as the two continued to speak, "… May the fury of the Anemo spread your ashes to the four corners of the world!"
The two released a large sphere of swirling wind that ravaged the land as the attack flew towards the three scared monsters, before the lone shield Mitachurl jumped in between the attack and the three Samachuri. Its wooden shield held strong for only a minute before the wind orb shattered the shield and impacted the large creature. It released a roar of pain, and it was lifted off the ground and then impacted against the three Samachuri before the sphere burst into a twister as the wind shook the trees around the area.
Once the wind settled, everyone could only look in shock as all that remained was a small crater from where the base of the tornado had stood. The two otherworlders had seemed to use all their power as the green glow that covered their bodies had faded away, before the two collapsed in a dead faint.
The knights slowly started to walk towards the two down, but they stopped when they heard the angry roar of the surviving Mitachurl as it raised its axe and charged at the two unconscious travelers. As it brought its weapon down, intending to slay the two demons that annihilated its army, it was stopped by a large black Claymore. The man holding the claymore, looked on calmly before he knocked the axe away, and with a shout of, "Burn!" his blade ignited into flame as he sliced the Mitachurl in half.
"Thank you for the assistants, Master Diluc." Jean said with a smile as she walked up to the claymore wielding man.
The man had hair long crimson red hair that was tied in a low ponytail and bright red eyes. He was wearing a black dress shirt, a long white vest, a black ascot with a red gem, a black coat with fur trim at the bottom, black dress pants, a strap on his right thigh, cuffed black boots, and a pair of black gloves. His red Vision is attached to a belt.
"Well after hearing about a star falling near Mondstadt, I knew I couldn't leave the exploration to the knights." Diluc said with a slight glare, only to soften as he turns to the two unconscious outlanders, "So who are they?"
Jean looked down to the two otherworlders with both wonder and hesitance, "Amber found them where the stars fell. We believed that they were civilians since they weren't wielding a vision but…" She looked to the devastation that the combined attack from the two had caused, "… they could control Anemo as if they were Archons. It was unbelievable and slightly frightening to be honest."
"So, what should we do with them then, do you believe that they would harm the people of Mondstadt?" Diluc asked as he slightly glared at the two unknown travelers. Jean looked at the two for a second but felt that she could trust them as the image of the two protecting all her knights and friends flashed in her mind.
"We will take them back to Mondstadt. They helped protect us all and even stopped an attack that would have killed a few of my knights, including both Kaeya and Amber. They deserve the benefit of the doubt. We can have they stay with the knights unless you wouldn't mind having them staying at your mansion outside of Mondstadt." Jean finished with a little smile, as Diluc scoffed at the idea.
"And have them ruin my wine? Please, at least if they attack your base, the people can see how useless the knights are." Even as his words sounded harsh, Jean knew that they didn't hold any real bite. She watched as he left her alone before turning to a couple of knights and having them help carry the two outlanders back to Mondstadt.
"I honestly feel like Barbatos is the one that guided you both to us. I pray that you will be able to help protect Mondstadt alongside us." Jean said quietly as she watched everyone start to make their way back to Mondstadt.
I've been working on this and several other stories for a while now. I'll hopefully post them up in the upcoming weeks and months depending on work. I will take any review you would like to share, but please hold off the flames as they will most likely be ignored.
This fic was for a friend who really loves Genshin and I'm hoping the OCs will represent them fully. The ships will be in the air for now, but I won't mind hearing some suggestions, as my friend will also give me some suggestions.
Do fav, follow, and review and I'll try to leave better AN as I continue these stories.
