"Rolling! Here we go! ACTION!"

"More powder, Theodore?" asked Jeanette.

"Okay," said Brittany, angrily. "FASHION DISSASTER! They got Jeanette doing make-up!"

"Hurry up, Jeanette!" snapped Theodore. "I haven't got ALL DAY!"

Theodore: This was the first day where I had to act like Alvin.

"You can't talk to my sister like that!" shouted Brittany to Theodore.

"ROAR!" Theodore roared.

"Oh ho, I'm SO scared," Brittany said sarcastically. She then mocked Theodore's roar. "Wait, can I try that again?"

"Okay, Cut."

Theodore then lowered his head in shame. He never acted like that before.

"Ted, you okay?" asked Eleanor.

"This is NOT me," said Theodore. "I don't like acting the way Alvin acts. Selfish, bossy, mean... Alvin."

"Hey, I'm right here!" said Alvin.

"You were supposed to hear that!" said Theodore.

"Theodore, calm down," said Simon. "I know you're not used to this attitude but do it for the movie, okay?"

"Alright," said Theodore. "But I won't enjoy it."

"Take one, action!"

"Eleanor, Eleanor, wait!" Theodore said, running after Eleanor at the school.

"Yeah?" said Eleanor.

"How'd you like to walk home with ME?" asked Theodore the way Alvin would ask a girl.

"Oh, brother!" scoffed Eleanor. She leaves.

"Cut, perfect!"

Theodore stomps his feet. "See? I hate this! Even in the movie, Eleanor hates this attitude."

"I hate it all together, Theodore," said Eleanor. "I feel your pain. Don't worry, you only have to do it for a few more scenes."

"Yeah, I know," said Theodore.

That night, Theodore, without the flattop and werewolf make-up, paces back and forth in the bedroom, frustrated.

"Why?" he said. "Why, why, why, why, why!?"

"Theodore?" asked Alvin. "What's wrong?"

Theodore glares at Alvin. "Being like you is what's wrong. I hate it. I'm sweet and lovable and honest. Simon is the smart one. And you..."

"I'm the AWESOMEST one!" finished Alvin.

"I was gonna say what Brittany said in the movie today," said Theodore. "You're the OTHER one."

"No fair, Ted! In my book, I'm the awesome one. As for Dave, he's the-"

"Uh-uh!" Dave said, peeking in the door. "Don't even think about it."

"Oh, alright, sorry," said Alvin.

"My point is, Alvin, I want to be who I am. Sweet, honest and lovable. Being... you is not my thing."

"I get it," said Alvin. "You don't wanna be a star."

"No! Ugh! You know what? Forget it. Leave me alone."

Theodore began to cry.

"Wait, what did I do?" asked Alvin.

"Like you care," said Theodore.

"Believe it or not, I do care," said Alvin. "Yeah, I said it. I care."

"Alright. You just don't get it, Alvin. My fans like me for being who I am. Not being who I'm not."

"So what you're saying is... You'd rather be who you already are and not something else."

"Finally, you understand," sighed Theodore.

"See, I told you I care," said Alvin. "I'm your brother, Ted. Of course I understand."

"Most times you don't."

"Whatever, okay? I'm sorry."

"Thanks, Alvin. I forgive you."

Theodore gave Alvin a hug.

"Well, bedtime," said Theodore, hopping into bed.

"Are we good?" asked Alvin.

"Yeah, Alvin," said Theodore. "We're good. Thanks for understanding."

"You're welcome, Ted. Good night. Hey! Where's Simon?"

"He'll be right there," said Theodore. "It's his turn to do the laundry."

"Okay. Well, see you tomorrow?"

"You bet. Night."

I'm really glad to make a comeback on this fanfic. I wanna give a shout-out to Danny Dowd for helping me get inspired to get back into gear on this. Thanks!
